1Hmm, it's been confirmed that Hydraxon isn't a Vortixx. And it's been confirmed that Ehlek ruled the sea around Zakaz, so I thought why not Zakaz itself?

2Probably because Zakaz is the homeland of the Skadi. Judging by the Piraka, it would be ill-advised to try and conquer them.

1BL7 said that Sarda is dead. And yet he's in the Karahanzi set. Please explain. 2Where is Burtaka after being dragged off by the squid? 3If Karahanzi goes into the pit, who will rule his realm while he's gone? 4Why does Karahanzi want to fight Lessovik? 5Why did Hydraxon accuse Matoro of being a "runner"? 6I read that the destined wearer of the Mask of Life is an Av-Matoran. Is Matoro an Av-Toa?

1Hey Greg. I recently read this in the Greg topic.
2"7. Would a Toa of Solar Energy be possible?
37) What would he be able to do that a Toa of Fire or a Toa of Light cannot do now? "Toa of the Sun" is a neat name, but if his powers aren't really different from existing Toa, not much point in doing one."
4I know you have a policy of "Don't worry too much about it until it has meaning in the story," but still I was wondering how Toa of Plasma are that different than Toa of Fire. I know that fire and plasma are two different things, but Toa of Fire are more often than not just "Toa of Heat," which would seem to apply to Toa of Plasma too, is that so?

5I got asked this before. I think the difference, in my mind, is that a Toa of Fire can do a lot more. He can create light, he can warm things, he can do lukewarm heat or lots of heat, he can absorb fire -- so he has a wide variety of powers and power levels to play with.
6A Toa of Plasma, on the other hand, basically does one thing -- deliver incredibly searing heat and melt things -- and he does it really well. Now, if you want to say that a Toa of Fire is a lot more useful, in general, than a Toa of Plasma, I would probably agree with you -- except in the sense that we already have flamethrowers in the military, yet the military sees a need for plasma weapons as well. There has to be a difference that they see in the two.

8You're meant to PM questions to Greg, there is a link on the first post. I can help you on some though
91. He got thrown to the sharks, but he didn't die. He was rescued by Lesovikk 103. Karzahni doesn't want to fight Lesovikk, Lesovikk wants to fight Karzahni 114. Hydraxon belives that anyone in the sea is an escapee from the Pit. Hence Matoro is a runner 125. The wearer of the Mask of Lightis an Av-Matoran/Av-Toa. It was Takua, who was in disguise as a Ta-Matoran

1Some questions for you.

21. Has Lesovikk ever met Jovan, Toa of Magnetisim?
32. Has he ever met Garan, or even Lhikan?
43. Did Lhikan and Nidikhi know each other as Matoran?
54. Aside from Sarda, who is your favorite 2007 character?
65. In the Bionicle Dark Hunters guide TSO says Vezok stole a stone or tablet of some kind on his last mission. Will this item play a role in the future?
76. How old is Lesovikk?
87. Will the Zyglak appear agian this year?
98. Can the Mask of Light be activated by any Toa, or can only Takanuva use it.
109. Would a Toa Hordika still be able to use their Toa Energy (to heal someone for example)?
11Thanks.

121) He has met him, but whether it was as a Toa or only after he became a Turaga has not been revealed 132) He never met Lhikan. He probably knew Garan, yes 143) Doubt it 154) Matoro 165) Let me check the entry and get back to you 176) I haven't determined his age 187) Don't know yet 198) Any Toa can use it 209) Only via their Rhotuka spinner, which makes it harder to combine Toa power as is required to heal someone.

21Cool. Lesovikk has met Jovan before.

11. Have you created a base storyline for 2008? 21. Oh, yes, 2008 is locked and done and the first book is written. We are on to 2009-2011 now.
32. When will the next BionicleStory Game/Serial/Blog/Ask Greg come out? 42. They are supposed to go up every two weeks or so. I believe the web team is on holiday this week, which may be delaying things by a couple days.
53. Was there a prototype name for the MoLI? 63. There may have been, I really don't remember.
74. Can a weapon of power (ex. Spear of Fusion) be forged into a Great Mask, or can only kanohi disks e made into Great Masks? 84) Far as I know, you cannot forge a weapon into a mask, no.

1Hello there, Mr.F. I have a couple quick questions for you. I hope you don't mind: 21.Does the Kualsi let you teleport to outside your point of view? 32.Can Takanuva turn into light and/or move as fast as light like Umbra? 43.If so, does that mean that other Toa can change into their Elements? (Tahu Nuva turning into fire, etc.) 5Thanks in advance:

61) No. It's extremely dangerous to teleport without being able to see where you're going. 72) No. He would like to be able to do that, but he can't do it now.

8So does that mean that if he trained hard enough, Takanuva might be to turn into light or move as fast as light?

9Again, no. It means he wants to do that. Doesn't mean he ever will.

10OK, thanks, another question: Since Hahli can duplicate natural abilties and powers of water-breathing Rahi, 11could she duplicate a Rahi's ability to breathe air and water?

12No. I am having her duplicate actual powers, like an electric eel's electric bolts, not basic bodily functions.

1Hi Greg: Thanks for the answers to my last questions. I have a few more. 2Does (or did) Makuta receive any extra powers from the Mask of Shadows? 3I know this next question sound completely absurb, but if I'm right it would explain a lot. 4Is the Pit's mutagen EP? Or rather a form of EP that only transforms, never destroys, and if the person in the water is not destined to transform, they remain as is? 52a If not, why are some beings immune to the mutagen? 6Were the lighting bolts that struck Reidak when he touched the Mask of Shadows a "security feature" exclusive to the Kraahkan? 73a If not, is it related to the Inika masks recoiling from a stranger's touch and the Ignika sending out an enegy blast when Pridak touched it? 8Does the Makuta of Zakaz stay ahead of "Tracker" by changing his hiding place, or is he so well hidden that he can't be found? 9If "Tracker" found the Makuta of Zakaz, would he kill him? 10Does the Makuta of Zakaz wish to regain the trust and favor of the BOM?
11Thanks again:

121) Yes 132) No, it's not related to EP 142a) Well, in our world, there are creatures immune to poisons that would kill us, so why wouldn't there be beings immune to the mutagen in this world? 153) It basically was like a burglar alarm, yes 164-6) Not really stuff I want to get into now

17Just some stuff I got back from Greg

1Hey again Greg, here's something else I've been thinking about.
2Do the Masks of Quick Travel and Intangibility have at least minor safeguards? On one hand, obviously, if you reintegrate into a wall, your done for. But what if you think you're in the clear, but say, a bug or a stray leaf happen to pass through the area of your brain when your matter returns to normal? Ouchie. Even dust particles would be bad in the lung tissue. So is this in any way taken care of?

1QUOTE 2Hi just two questions today.
3Do you know what Brutaka's throwing knivews look like? Well if yes, on Botar they're on his head and I just wanted to ask, are they ears or horns?
4Also how come the BOM are have been in power for sooo long. I know they're an extremely powerful and smart species but they're enemies with the OoMN, DH AND they're are a million other powerful species like Axonn's and Brutaka's which can't all be allied with the BOM.
5Thanks for the your time.

6I always saw them as horns.
7Also, keep in mind that the BOM has only been publicly rebelling against Mata Nui for about 1000 years. Prior to that, only the Rahaga and the OOMN really knew they had gone bad. The Rahaga weren't powerful enough to do anything about it, and the OOMN wasn't going to reveal it existed. The war with the DH started less than 1000 years ago and is pretty much a stalemate.
8As for other species -- if the BOM isn't making life tough for them, why should they want to commit suicide by opposing a group that commands huge armies of Rahi, Rahkshi, Visorak and Exo-Toa?

2Actually, the vortixx don't use the weapons they build, less they're special projectile ones. and thats only for testing. The vortixx, except roodaka, are horrible in a fight. Hydraxon is a weaponsmaster, and can use all 20 of them. (he has more like 8 diff weapons on him.) The one thing that makes him not vortixx, is the head. say what you like, but Vortixx have roodaka heads.

5Greg already stated, that if you used it like that, you'd have to hit something with it reeeealy hard. No firing beams, just, hit it against something with the strength of nocturn (not exaggerating.) and it uses its power. Right. It dosn't work. Most people don't have nocturn's strength.

6When Nightcrawler teleports he displaces liquid and gas at the place he teleports to. So presumably any dust particles get shunted out the way. I don't know what to do about flies though...

1Dear Greg,
2I'm sorry to bother you, but I have a few questions in regards to Toa.
31. It is a well known fact that any 6 Toa using their elemental powers together can create a protodermis "cage". Can 2 Kaita using all 6 elemental powers also create this cage? 41a. Could 2 Kaita unlock a cage that their individual 6 Toa made? 51b. If 2 Kaita can form a cage, could the individual 6 Toa unlock it? 61c. A cage requires not just 6 Toa, but 6 Toa of different elements, right?
72. Can any 3 Toa form a Kaita, or just 3 Toa using the specific elements that we've seen forming a Kaita so far?
8And finally, an unrelated question.
93. I know that you're not allowed to discuss future storyline, and this may or may not fall under this restriction. I believe that you have stated that the Toa Nuva will be re - released. Could you confirm that the Toa Nuva will be re - released as Toa, not Tugura?
10Thank you very much:
11Avardion

121) Most likely. 131a) Yes, if they were Kaita formed from those same six Toa. 141b) Yes, if they are the same Toa who made up the Kaita 151c) Yes 162) Any three Toa of different elements can do so 173) I can confirm they will be Toa sets, not Turaga sets. (If they were Turaga, it would mean they had already achieved their destiny, so there would be no real need to have them in main story.)

1Hi Greg, sorry for PMing you twice in one day, but I have a theroy to ask you about:
2I recall you saying somewhere along the line that if a Toa Team's destiny requires the whole team, and one of the team members is killed, that they cannot complete their destiny. Is the Inika/Mahri's destiny like this, or would they still be able to use the mask if one of their number is killed? This is for a topic about how the universe will be saved. Could you confirm if you did say that, and how the Mahri's destiny is organized?
3Thanks in Advance:

4That depends. We know one of the Mahri is the destined bearer of the mask, we do not know he is the destined user. But let's say for the sake or argument that he is. If he dies, you then have a big problem.
5You also have a big problem if members die before the cord gets shattered, because all seven Cordak blasters get used to do that.
6So -- if the cord is shattered, and the destined user is not killed, then other Toa Mahri can theoretically die and still have the mission succeed.

7This sounds interesting...
#9270
1so if a team completes the part in wich they have to work together, them die exept the 1 who has to complete it, they will succeed???
2sounds usefull.
3i too think that the staff of protodermis=staff of arthaka, and i think it is needed to make protosteel. 4about the toa transforming: i think theyll be rebuilt, not transformed. i hope they get protosteel weapons and armour, and new more powerfull and ubercool masks. id love to see lewa with a mask of flight. gali with tubes so she can breathe underwater so she can get a new mask

1Hey Greg, just some thoughts about the Pit mutagen.
21. The mutagen is not sentient, right? 31) Correct
42. Since you said that the mutagen didn't mutate the mahri matoran, but repaired them first, are the bodies of Dekar and Defilak the actual body forms of those two and others who came from their land? 52) Yes
63. If their bodies are their original body types, did Dekar and Defilak come from the same area? 73) Yes
84. Since LEGO persists in saying that Hewkii's chains give off an electric shock, is this canon, or is it still false. 94) It is canon. It was changed in story after I made my statements on here about it.
10Thanks.

1Some interessting answers from Greg, especialley about Karzahni, I really like that 2evil villian, one of the evilest villians of bionicle together with Makuta.
31: How did Karzahni knew the Matoran turned into toa Inika? According to Bionicle World 4Karzahni was still gathering his Matoran in his realm when the events of voya Nui accored, or am I 5wrong about that? 62: What does Karzahni want from Lessovik? 73: On Bzpower there are rumors that the staff of Arthaka is the staff that the Shadowed One uses, 8is this true? 94: Do you watch the tv serie Heroes??? 105: Does the BOM know that Roodaka is playing both sides in the war? 116: Are the airships in Metru Nui already made and being used? 127: Is Irnakk a nightmare made up creature or did he belong to an ancient species that ones, ruled over Zakaz or something like that? 138: Is the Ussany being rebuild by Takanuva? 149: In the awesome mini movie of the Mahri Maxilos and Hydraxxon fight eachother, will they do that in the book too? 1510: Did Lessovik ever met Jovan?

161) That was the last update the OOMN had. But Karzahni ended up going on his own to check out what was going on, with his army to follow, so that is how he found out. 172) He wants him out of his way. K really doesn't care anything about Lesovikk, he's just an obstacle at this point. 18[3) No, it's not true. 194) No 205) No. If they did, they would kill her. 216) No. 227) Irnakk never lived, he's basically a bogeyman for the Skakdi 238) No. 249) Yes 2510) Yes, when Jovan was a Turaga

26Hmm, goes also the theory about TSO staff, makes me wonder what is really is then. :D
27EDIT: Wowie, first post on page 233 :D
#9273
1Wait, Jovan was a Turaga on Voya Nui. That means Lesovikk was on Voya Nui, how come he never found Sarda or Idris?
#9274
1Because Jovan was in the mainland (Not sure) then, Mahri Nui was not formed, even It's possible that Lesovikk met him before Karzahni sent more Matoran there.
2Or he simply didn't recognize them.

1Wait, Jovan was a Turaga on Voya Nui. That means Lesovikk was on Voya Nui, how come he never found Sarda or Idris?

2Because he wasn't on Voya Nui. In fact, neither was Jovan. Jovan died before Voya Nui was officially Voya Nui.
3It means Lesovikk has been to the mainland which Voya Nui spawned from. And seeing as it is regarded as a continent, one can assume it is fairly large. So it would be pretty easy to not see somebody unless you searched the entire thing. And even then, Sarda and Idris were rebuilt by Karzahni at that time, so he probably wouldn't have recognized them if he did come across them.

1We know that if Mata Nui dies then the universe ends. So, the stable existence of the universe depends on the state of Mata Nui's health, correct? Could it be said that the life of Mata Nui is synonymous with the "life" (stable existence) of the universe?
2Thanks, Greg:

3We know that one of Mata Nui's jobs is the maintaining of the universe -- the same way, for example, someone might have the job of maintaining a nuclear reactor. If he dies, no one is there to take care of the reactor and it breaks down. If Mata Nui dies, no one is there to take care of the universe and it breaks down.

4Ah, okay. Hmm... Is there any way to injure/kill Mata Nui by affecting the stability of the universe? Like if (assuming such a thing was possible) the person (person A) taking care of the nuclear reactor was injured by high radiation levels because someone (person B-) sabotaged the the substances shielding person A from the radiation of the reactor, thus making him unable to take care of the reactor, which explodes. Or is it not possible to affect Mata Nui by doing something to the universe?
5Thanks again, 6What?

7Wouldn't it make sense that if you do something awful to the universe, it will affect everyone and everything that has anything to do with it?

8It does to me. I'd like to know (if you're allowed to tell me) if this is near to what happened:
9Makuta did something drastic to the universe, which eventually caused the Great Cataclysm, and that caused Mata Nui to fall asleep (or vice versa; Mata Nui fell asleep, thus causing the Great Cataclysm), and later kills Mata Nui.
10And, on a possibly unrelated note, can you tell me what Makuta was supposed to use his shadow power for?

111) I can't discuss the nature of Makuta's attack. 122) Well, as Vakama says in LOMN, the Makuta were pledged to protect the Matoran. "Shadow" did not get its rep as an evil element until after the BOM rebelled.

13Ugh, he can't even discuss it, huh?

1QUOTE 2I have questions for you... :P #1 The Toa Nuva's destiny is to awake Mata Nui right? But what if Mata Nui were to fall asleep again? If Makuta or someone else makes him sleep again they will need the Toa Nuva again right? They could send another group of Toa but why bother? So wouldn't the Toa Nuva's destiny be never ending? Or is the Toa's destiny only to wake up Mata Nui the first time? (And hopefully the last.) #2 In BL6 it says that Takadox's army's were the most obedient because of hypnotism. But later you say that he plans to hypnotize the eel with the power that the pit granted him. How is this? #3 I see you like ice a lot. Your favorite Nuva is ice, your favorite Inika/Mahri is ice, and my sister thinks you said your favorite element is ice. What do you like so much about your ice characters? The following are my sister's questions: #4 What's your favorite Matoran? #5 What's your favorite warrior? #6 Who would win in a battle: Jaller or hewkii? 3Send my congratulations to the set designers: I think Bionicle's set's this year are only rivaled by 2003 (with a few exceptions) and these are more posable: I think the story's going very well to. :D

51) It's a good question, and it goes to the question of whether the Toa Nuva will become Turaga. They may not choose to give up their Toa power when they achieve their goals, and so remain Toa. 62) Pit greatly enhanced his existing power 73) Their self-reliance. I have always liked fictional characters, like Batman and Sherlock Holmes, who are more intellectual and really don't need anyone else helping them. 84) I don't really have one 95) Probably Hydraxon 106) Impossible to predict, there are too many variables in a fight

1Hope you can answer these.

21. Were any of Keetongu's species (outside of the one we already know) turned into Hordika forms, or are they all dead?
32. Are only female Vortixx black in color? Because I saw a comic that showed Roodaka climbing the Mountian with a male partner who was colored green.
43. Who was your favorite 2005 character. Roodaka was my favorite after Norik and Keetongu.
54. In BIONICLE 3: Web of Shadows it shows Norik setting the other Rahaga free from their webbing with a burst of energy from his staff. Can his staff really do that, or is it something the people who made the movie added in?
65. Can all of TSO's species fire disetigration beams from their eyes, or is it only him?
76. In both his set and his picture Voporak is seen with two rotateing blade/claw-like tools. Are these actual tools/weapons, or are they his actual claws?
87. Can all of Roodaka's species fire shadow bolts from their fingertips?
98. Would a Turaga Hordika be possible?
109. Will Karzahni be left in the Pit at the end of 2007?
1110. Why is Kopaka your favorite Bionicle?

121) I doubt the Visorak would have bothered with letting any of them remain alive. 132) The green color was used so younger readers could tell Roodaka apart from her partner. All Vortixx are black. 143) Probably Roodaka 154) I think that was a movie thing 165) We haven't met any others of his species, so no way to tell 176) I think those are weapons 187) If properly trained, yes 198) Yes 209) Come on, Scott, you know I can't discuss future storyline 2110) Because he is the very first one I ever wrote about

4Wait, wasn't there a Turaga that went mad? That was Lesovikk's island's Turaga huh? Worth a try at asking Greg. 5Anyway, I accidently deleted my last PM, so you'll just have to trust me on this one :P 6It was about the intro text on the front page of the comics. I told him that they should come back, and he agreed. He hopes they can come back by '08, and said that one page was removed from the comics, so he needed the intro page cut out for the comic part. 7--BufFooN
