1Hi, Greg. I hope your doing well.
2I'm entering BS01's Core War contest, and I just wanted to double check the geography of Spherus Magna.
31. Was the Jungle tribe's central territory the Jungle that is now the Tesaran oaisis?
41) No. Remember, they would be anywhere there was jungle or forest, and there was a vast area of green some distance away from the desert on Bara Magna
52. What direction was the Aqua Magna area in relativity to the map of Bara Magna (planet) we have?
62) South of Bara Magna, I believe, at least that is what I think.
73. Could you name another area the Sand Tribe controlled, aside from the Bara Magna area?
83) That was their main area, because that was the major desert on the planet. There wasn't a lot of sand in other areas.
9Thanks .

10I think the Aqua Magna bit may be new, but I'm not sure. I wasn't around when the EOP's name was revealed to be so, so I may have missed something.

1Hey GregF, just few questions. 21. Hero Agori Question 34. Bionicle.com's bio of Kirbraz and Scodonius makes it sound like they can participate in the same battle, as the Kaxium is technically one vehicle. Would they be allowed to? 4Thanks.

51) Not necessarily, no. As I recall the MLN story, Raanu hires him to do a job, it doesn't state he is fire tribe. Raanu employs Metus to do things too, and Metus is not fire tribe. 64) Yes
#7843
1Is the Great Being that talked to Vezon the one from our universe, or is he from the one that Vezon is currently in?

2The one Vezon is currently in. Remember, the two universes did not diverge until the decision was made by the Makuta not to rebel. So what happened to the GB happened the same way in both universes.

3Just checking on something

1Hey I havent talked to you in a while, well I hope everything is going well with the storyline and I just wanted to ask you some questions.
21. Can the Vorox/Zesk gradually change back to what they use to be? 31a. Could they ever talk again?
42. Did the Vorox/Zesk change from EP or any other long-term reactions?
53. Can you tell me anything about the powers of the female skrall?
64. Would you say that the Elemental Lords are stronger then the toa, with their elements?
75. Is the Olmak fused to the back of Vezon's head like the Mask of life was or just to the front of it?
86. Are the two dead bodies in Mata Nui Robot's head from the MU or from somewhere else?
97. Is Teridax mostly imprisoning people in the MU or killing them? 10Thank you .

111) It's possible, yes, if their environment changes, but they would need to be reeducated. 122) No, EP had nothing to do with this. 133) Not more than I have so far 144) No, not necessarily. 155) Front 166) They are from Spherus Magna 177) Neither really. There is no need to imprison people when they know you can kill them at any moment, and at the same time, no one is any threat to him so why waste the energy killing them en masse?

18I have no idea really if any of these are new .

1I have three more questions to ask:
21. In BS01 Contest #3: Core War, is it okay to write about how Surel got injured? 32. Who is your favorite character in the movie novelization? 43. Who is your favorite Skrall?

51) Yes 62-3) Don't have one.

7I asked these for a Biosector01 member.
#7846
1Sorry to send you two PMs in one day, but I had to wish you a happy birthday seperatly smile.gif
21) Not sure if you can answer this, but it's worth a shot. How did the female Skrall develop powers?
32) What exactly is this B: TLR Magazine you mentioned earlier today? Is it a Brickmaster thing, full magazine edition, or just an article?
43) You have said that Tarix, Vastus and Strakk have minor roles, but I was wondering if you could confirm if these characters/creatures had minor or major roles:
5-Vorok 6-Skopio 7-Rannu 8-Metus 9-Berix
10Thank you as always . The latest serials are all fantastic . Riddle of the Great Beings was wonderfully creepy, Empire of the Skrall was one of my favorites in a long time, and this Reign of Shadows pullled out the most unexpected twists . Never saw those coming, the carnivorous trees, female Skrall, and especially Tren Krom and Crazed Great Being .
11Congrats, and again happy birthday .

121) Came into being with them 132) It's planned to be a 32-page movie magazine which will be available if you purchase the DVD ... I'm not sure if it's intended to be a coupon redemption or what at this point. 143) I'd rather not go into this. I think the info can wait for seeing the movie.

151.Ok 162. Holy cow . LEGO is going overboard with this movie . 32 pages devoted to just the movie .? .? 173. Good choice.

1Hey, Greg.
21. Is Sahmad and Telluris's tribe going to be revealed in 2009?
32. Are there more survivors besides Sahmad and Telluris?
43. It is true that the Skopio is the only one of its kind, right?
5Happy belated birthday, Greg .
6-SoT

71) No, most likely not, they aren't relevant to this story 82) It's possible, but they may not be on Bara Magna 93) The vehicle, yes, the creature, I don't believe we have said there is only one of the creature.

101. Well, that's no need to worry for BS01.
112. Well, don't really have anything about that.
123. There's no Skopio XV-2, so now my wallet can breath easier next year.

1QUOTE 2Follow-Ups
31. What other territories does the Sand EL rule?
42.Is Telluris insane?
5New
63. Who is your favorite vehicle pilot of 2009?
74. When will Fero show up in the Story again?
85. When will the Skrall who fought Gresh (SwfG) show up again?
96. Will he get a name?
107. Is he a major enough character to get his own page at BS01?
11You said originally that the Skrall Canister was a representation of the character, then you said it was a representation of all warrior class Skrall, I was never made clear on this. 128. Which is it?

131) It was mainly Bara Magna, that's the only desert on the planet 142) Define insane. 153) Don't have one 164) Don't know 175) Don't know 186) No 197) I don't think so, no 208) I don't recall ever saying that the Skrall canister was an individual character. But we did use it as the model for the warrior who fought Gresh, because the point of the comic is to promote sets we are selling. As you saw in the second comic, other Skrall look like that as well, while some others have different secondary armor colors.
218. So it was just my impression then :hau:

1Hi Greg . I have some new questions, that I hope you'll enjoy answering, I really loved reading the latest RoS, Great Job on that.
21. Is it true that Vastus isn't normally allowed to use the paralyzing venom in Arena matches, because it would give him an unfair advantage?
31) Depends on the rules of the match

42. You said that the MU isn't designed to support organic life, so beings like the Glatorian and the Agori would die after awhile. But then why are certain organic creatures like Light fish able to live in the MU?
52) Lightfish are an exception. They don't require a lot of food, the way, say, an Agori would, and they were able to adjust to liquid protodermis, where other creatures might not be able to. Taking a Glatorian into the MU and saying, "Here, eat this Rahi or this fruit for lunch" would be like asking you to eat plastic.

63. One of the strange differences between your answer to the Rocket Idea (which I expect isn't going to happen) and the possibility of Vezon using the Olmak to bring Mata Nui back, is that you distinctly said that Vezon would not bring Mata Nui Back, but you said that you couldn't discuss Future story plans when I presented the Rocket Idea. I'm wondering why, you were able to distinctly say no to one Idea, while you didn't, to another? Would you be willing to explain what the difference was?
73) My mood at the time I was asked.

84. Is the Mata Nui Robot capable of repairing Spherus Magna, like grabbing the three pieces of the broken planet and then fusing them together again?
94) I would say not on its own, no

105. Does Lewa, who is in Tren Krom's body, stand a chance of learning how to escape the Island?
115) I cannot discuss future story

126. I thought you said awhile back that Tren Krom wouldn't be able to help the Toa. Was this because you hadn't thought up that ingenious idea of Personality swapping yet, Or did you have a plan all along?
136) Has he helped the Toa yet? So far, all he has done is help himself off the island

147. If Tren Krom was always capable of switching his essence with another being's, why didn't he use that to escape his island a long time ago? By the way, The Essence switching Idea was absolutely brilliant, great Job .
157) Because you have to consent to it. Lewa was the first one to be open to "anything"

168. If Someone could get Tren Krom's body into Karda Nui, could he sustain the MU if Makuta was Killed?
178) No. The universe is far bigger and more complex than it was when TK ran it.

189. What types of things could Tren Krom do with his Knowledge of the MU? Control the wind, gravity, environment?
199) Keep in mind that in Lewa's body he does not have most of his powers

2010. Does Tren Krom in Lewa's body pose a threat to Makuta, as Makuta doesn't see the Toa as a threat and Tren Krom probably knows a lot more about the MU' workings than Makuta does?
2110) Well, we'll see

22Thanks again . 23I just can't wait until the next RoS, Its going to be so cool to see what Tren Krom will do now that He's free .

1QUOTE 2Dear Greg,
31. Did the Jungle Element Lord rule the jungle Tesara is in?
42. A while back you said Iconox was made after the shattering and Tajun, Tesara , and Vulcanus existed before the Shattering. Is this True?
53.Did the Water tribe have a navy?
64. To the west of Tajun is a ocean of sinking sand. Did that area used to be the Great Sea?
75. Does the Water EL also rule the river dormus?
86. Did the Northern Frost melt after the Shattering?
97. you said part of the sand EL domain was the Bara Magna desert. What is the rest of his domain?
108. Did the Fire EL rule the Iron Canyon volcano besides the Great Volcano
119. Did the Rock and Sand tribe have any vehicles during the Core War?
1210. Were bone hunters raiders during the war?
1311. Were spherus Magna Villages during the core war like Metru Nui?
14Thanks Greg

151) It would have technically been under his control, but his main focus would have been a vast forest located in a different part of the planet 162) Iconox was made later, I would need to double-check the latest on Tesara 173) Transport ships, certainly 184) No. The Great Sea is the world the Mata Nui robot is on 195) Yes 206) No 217) That was the major part of his domain, as there were no other deserts 228) That would have been an area of influence, yes, hence the Vulcanus settlement being there 239) Not that I am aware of, no 2410) Yes 2511) They did have larger cities, yes, though we don't know if they were as sophisticated as Metru Nui, since Metru Nui is basically a mechanical brain

1Dear Greg,
21. How exactly did Surel get picked to train the Iron Wolves during the War?
32. When Surel was picked to train the wolves did he lead them in battle?
43. Were Surel's Iron Wolves enemies to the Ice Tribe or Allies?
54. If the answer to 3 is enemies did Surel care that he was fighting his own tribe?

65. If surel was picked by the Great Being to train the wolves does that mean the Great Beings built an army composed of warriors from differnt tribes to try to stop the war? Like a volunteer army who were sick of the war?
7Thanks Greg

81) Would have been chosen by his battalion commander 92) Yes 103) Allies 114) Surel was not fighting his own tribe 125) He was not chosen by the Great Beings and they did not field an army, other than the baterra.

1More info for the Core War contest:
2Hello Greg, I hope you're doing well. :) I have some questions before writting further on my entry of the Core War contest, mainly about weapons. Hope you can answer them:
31) We've seen some vehicles have Forceblasters (Midak Skyblasters) mounted in them. Now Bara Magnans use Thornax Launchers, but during the war, most likely used more advanced ranged guns like those, right?
42) I've seen that some sets weapons have an elemnatl look to them. I remember someone asking you if Berix's sword had any power, and you said that most likely it would have had a power before the Shattering until it runned out of it. So, it's possible that some weapons, like Ackar's sword, had elemental based powers on them before they ran out of it?
5Thanks for answering :)
6:n::i::g::h: :t:

71) Some of those were vehicle-mounted, yes. Glatorian in the war had weapons with elemental powers, the charges of which have long ago run out. 82) See answer to #1

9Sorry to bother you again, but in #1, I haven't really understood the meaning of the answer. To make things simpler, what I meant was, for example, if Ackar would have used a Force Blaster like those in the vehicles but in hand, like the Thornax Launcher.
10And a new one: When another tribe had control of the EP spring, for how much time would they hold it, most likely? Months?
11Thanks again for your time :), 12:n::i::g::h: :t:

131) No 142) Hours, more likely.

1Whoa, only hours?
2Wait, do we even know how the long the Core War actually lasted? Maybe I should ask...

11. Around how many Glatorian are on Bara Magna? 21a. Agori?
32. Did the Fire EL also rule over Mt. Valamai?
43. Do Jungle tribe members speek like lewa? (ex. toa-hero, quick-fly)
54. Do heartlights still matter?
65. Have You ever helped design a set?
76. Do you kind of have an idea of what sets look like when writing the story?
8Thanks in advance Greg . HUGE fan of you since you started writing .

91) Dozens 101a) Hundreds 112) No. Mount Valmai is on Voya Nui, inside the Matoran universe. The ELs are not part of the Matoran universe. 123) No. Again, that is something evolved among the nanotech that lived inside Mata Nui. 134) To who? I don't understand your question. Bara Magnans do not have heartlights, they are not artificial beings like Matoran and Toa are. 145) No 156) Sure.
#7856
1Hi Greg, I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me:
21.Judging by the line "Tarix is a leader too" from the second comic of 09, was Tarix a general or a commander during the Core War?
32.Since Ackar is a Veteran like Tarix, was he a commander or general in the war as well?
43.If Kiina wants to leave Bara Magna, when Mata Nui leaves(Assuming that he does)would she go with him?

5(_)ELOM(_)

61) That has nothing to do with the Core War. Has to do with his leadership position as Prime Glatorian in Tajun 72) Ackar most likely would have led a squad. The ELs were the generals 83) If the possibility exists, yes, she might well do so

9Some interesting stuff here.

1Primarily timelining stuff, but one question for the Core War contest.
2Hi Greg, I just a have few timeline questions for you:
31) When does Chapter 6 of EotS take place? I assume it's at some point after the fall of Atero, as the previous chapter took place the day before that, but is the new chapter set before, after, or during Raid on Vulcanus?
42) About when did Tarduk, Crotesius and Kirbold set off to find the Red Star? I'm guessing maybe a bit before, or around the same time as, Comic 1, or Tarduk wouldn't have time to go to the north, come back, go on the expedition from The Crossing and be back in time to see Gresh practice the night before the Tournament.
53) Will the rest of this year's comics be movie side-stories, like we had in '04, or set after the movie?
64) I seem to recall you giving us a timeline showing that the chapters of The Crossing take place on either side of Comic 2, or something to that effect, but I've not been able to find this anywhere. Could you say again when the story takes place?
75) Finally, you've said before that some Bara Magna tools may once have been powered, hence stuff like the tube attached to Berix's sword. For my entry for BS01's Core War story contest, would it be okay for Ackar's sword to have a function which makes the blade heat up? The quote from my story is:
8"Flipping a switch on his sword's hilt that triggered it to charge with heat, the crimson hued warrior twisted his weapon slightly so that the now burning hot blade sheared right through the tubing on Vastus' weapon."
9Thanks,
10Jalaguy

111) Before 122) Before 133) September deals with the beginning of the film, November is set after the film 144) Comic 2 is the fall of Atero, so Crossing has to take place before that, because Gresh and all were in Atero for that 155) Yes

1Hi Greg. I want to ask you some stuff about the Core War to help out with the contest.
21. All of the Elemental Lords are made of their Element correct? 31a. If yes what does the Jungle Lord look like? Hardened Roots?
42. Have you decided weather or not any of the EL's are female? 52b. If no would you mind if I made one female for my contest entry?
63. How long did the Core War last? 73b. In relation to that, how long did it take the GB's to build Mata Nui and the Red Star?
84. Aside from making the Iron Wolves and Baterra did the Great Beings get involved in any other way?
95. How advanced would the Agori/ future Glatorian tech have been?
106. Did the EL's always go into the front lines of battle?
117. Would you allow the Shattering to be featured in a contest entry?

12Thats All I can think of for now. Thank you for your time.

3Hi there Greg . Just some questions about Spherus Magna and the Core War for my contest entry:
41) Could you give us an idea of where the territories of the Element Lords are, based on the locations we already know of Bara Maga? We know that the Fire Tribe is at the Great Volcano, the Rock Tribe at the Black Spike and White Quartz Mountains, and the Great Sea (Water Tribe) to the south of Bara Magna. What about Northern Frost, and the realms of the Jungle EL?
52) Did any Element Lords confront each other during the war? i.e. The EL of Water fighting the EL of Jungle in person?
63) Did the Iron Wolves exist before the war? If so, could they potentially have been roaming wild creatures?
74) Is it possible for us to give the vehicles different designations? i.e. Thornatus V8?
8Thanks,
9~ Bioran

101) Northern frost and the realms of the jungle EL are on the third chunk of the planet, which we have not dealt with in story. 112) No 123) Yes 134) Yes

1Hi Greg (happy birthday) I just had some questions on trade caravans
21 What is a trade caravan usually made up of ( e.g a spitik and cart and two sand stalkers )
32 Depending on the importance of the cargo, would there be more than one guard
43 Do anyone but the skrall and bone hunters use rock steeds
54 what is the success rate of a bone hunter raid ( e.g half of all raids succeed )
61) It varies. It might be one wagon pulled by a spikit or multiple wagons pulled by a spikit. It might have a guard, like Gelu, or none. 72) Yes -- we saw that in The Crossing, where Gresh and Strakk are both guarding a wagon load of exsidian 83) No 94) I have no statistics on this

1QUOTE 2hello,
31. mata nui's shield is called the scarabax shield, correct?
42. could the ignika recharge glatorian weapons so they are elementally charged again?
51) We also call it scarab shield, but scarabax shield is technically more accurate 62) If the weapons had an organic element to them, it's possible 7__________________________________________________________________________
8I think the BS01 article should be edited

1Quick question: Do the Element Lords have names of their own?

2Not that we will reveal in story, I don't have enough names on the approved name list to do that.

11) Is Strakk really (going to be) banished?

2The official story is that Iconox had to postpone the decision due to the events of the movie. My assumption is they will revist the matter later.

1Some stuff for the BS01 contest:
2QUOTE 3Hey Greg,
4I hope that you have had a nice birthday. I had a couple questions about Spherus Magna during the Core War:
51) How long was the Core War (months, years, weeks, decades)?
62) If the white quartz mountains were under Skrall control, how did Iconox get started? Or was it originally a Skrall settlement that the Ice Agori captured? Or was Iconox owned by the Ice tribe pre-war
74) Can we cover the shattering (or at least one character's perspective of it?) Or is that going to be relegated to future story?
85) Can we cover how Strakk moved south, or is that also another story?
96) Would you mind terribly if we didn't include any elemental powers/weapons in the story?
10Thank you,
11Makahi

121) Years, probably 132) Most of the Skrall legions were in battle in the Black Spikes when the war ended, and remnants of ice tribe had migrated south to the White Quartz during the war due to the battles centered in the northern frost 144) Yes, you can 155) Yes, you can 166) It's up to you what you include.
