1Ok, I've came back to disrupt your busy life by reading this post. Joking

21. What is your favorite Alternate Dimension? For your convienance, I will put down the semi-official names. Joking A. The Kingdom. B. The Toa Empire. C. The Melding. D. Spherus Magna.

32. What's your second favorite theme (the first of course being BIONICLE)?

43. Why is Lariska your favoirite Dark Hunter to write about (other than she's plain awesome Joking)?

5A word of advice: You seem a bit rough on the edges. Use emotes to tell us you're glad that you have fans instead of making it look like you just do this because you HAVE to.

61) I don't really have a favorite

72) In terms or story or sets?

83) Because I created her.

9Those folks who remember me from BZP know that my answers tend to be straight and to the point, because i am trying to get through as many questions as I can in a sitting so people don't have to wait forever for answers. If I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't have agreed to be or be spending my weekend time doing this. The fact that I did and I am I think says more than a smiley face would.

102. Just whatever. Both if you like.

11OK, that makes sense. Thank you for your time!

1Just one more thing: Is "Toa" Ignika still "alive"? Or when he used his body to restart mata nui did he "die"?

2Not sure if you saw this greg, just reposting it for you Wink

3The Mask of Life still functions as an  object, so Ignika still exists, just not as a physical being.

1Are you going to any LEGO coventions this year?

2No. The last con I went to was Comic-Con in 2009. Since BIONICLE ended, there's no real reason for the company to send me anyplace.

1Hey Greg, do you like the Avengers?

2I am a huge fan of the comic, yes, I have almost a complete run.

Fusionblast23 wrote:1It's an honor to chat with you Mr. Farshtey I have some questions to ask you, and I am a big fan of yours!
21) Is Ninjago going to have a new season and did you write a brand-new storyline?32) Why did the story serials on BIONICLEstory discontinue? Will there be more?43) On Hero Factory, is Brain Attack the final battle or there is one final wave coming soon?54) Did you write the storyline on Chima?65) What really happened at the final chapter of Exo-Force since it ended in a cliffhanger?76) Can you share a sneak preview of a new project that you're working on or a overview of a devlopment storyline for a theme that has been released?87) Why did Ninjago take a hitaus?
9Mr. Farshtey, please answer my questions please. I've known about you since I was 6 and was playing with a bunch of themes that you have created the stories of and have really enjoyed them!
10I am a fan of:
11BIONICLE12Chima13Ninjago14Exo Force15Hero Factory
16And more!17You're awesome!18It's a big pleasure to meet you!19-Fusionblast23

201) Yes, and I do not write the overall storyline for the year for this line

212) Because, with my regular work and my daughter to take care of, I did not have time to do them right.

223) Hero Factory returns in 2014

234) No

245) That was so many years ago I don't remember

256) No, I would  not be allowed to do that

267) It didn't really. The only difference this year is it went from two product releases a year to one.  But the series is returning in 2014

1Great, great Grey Farshtey, I've got another important question for you. Here it comes: is 'acid' and element of Bionicle? Until now, all of the Bohrok powers have become elements, except of acid! It would be so awesome, a Toa of Acid! And please, if it is an element, let it be a female element. Because there are just much too many male Toa...

2No, it's not. It was discussed among fans on BZPower, but my feeling was LEGO Company would  not be okay with a Toa who sprayed acid at his enemies.

Will there be anymore Ninjago sets? Episodes maybe?43. This is the last one, when will Chima ONLINE open beta come out?

51) One of the important things is to treat your characters as real people, in a way. If you try to force them to do things in your story that they wouldn't normally do, then it  becomes hard to write, because they stop being predictable. And predicting what they do  next is part of your job as a writer.

62) Yes and yes.

73) Don't know

8I have a couple more questions.

91. Why is your username ScribeGT6817

102. When will the new sets and episodes come out?

113. How did you become involved with LEGO?

121) Because it is.

132) 2014

1I have a question that's been bugging me for a while. Maybe you can answer this. Happy

2How were Kanohi masks made? I know that they used Kanoka disks in Metru-Nui, but I read that they found the formula for making Kanoka in a tablet in the Knowledge towers. Was there a process before that or were Kanoka always in exsistence including Kanohi masks?

3I thought we said something at some point about  other islands where they made masks a different way. But I don't recall.

1What inspired you to create ninjago? It is my favorite tv show.

2I didn't create Ninjago.

nickvang_7_7_7 wrote:

1Say Greg, here's yet another important question I've got for you: Does Stars Tahu look different because he is still wearing Adaptive Armor? Please tell me it is like that, I mean, everything would make sense! Tahu got green eyes, just like Adaptive Armor does, he's gotten extra armor shells, like with Adaptive Armor, and he looks different than his original version, just like an Adaptive Armor-version would do! Some time ago, it was stated on the Bionicle wikia that Tahu Stars still wears Adaptive Armor, but it seemed to be speculation and was removed... Please make it canon!Smile

2I don't recall the story team leaning that way. I think the sets looked the way they did simply because that was what the set designer opted to do.

AiXinYi wrote:1How much of the ninjago story did you have in mind before the episodes started to come out? Was everything planned?

2I did not create Ninjago or work on the TV series - I do the graphic novels, that is my role with it. So I can't answer this.

51) No, I have also written novels for Hero Factory and as Editorial Director for the LEGO Club Magazine I have written about pretty much all the themes the last 13 years

62) Not really up to me, comes down to what I am asked to do.

16Oh.

1Thanks again for answering my questions! It's a bit of a shame that you can't remember your Ninjago stories as well as I can... I guess that's the difference between being a writer who has to have so many stories on his mind and being a reader who can indulge in books at his leisure.

2My favorite Ninjago stories of yours were probably "Getting the Joke" and "The Choice" from the chapter book "Zane: Ninja of Ice".
3Just one question this time: Have you read anything by Neil Gaiman? He's one of my favorite authors. He wrote some comics including DC Comics' The Sandman and Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader? and Marvel's Marvel 1602. He also wrote several prose novels.
