1 Okay, I've got a few questions.
21.Have you ever regretted killing a character off?
32.Is Tyrant still alive? And if so, what is he doing?
43.Were there any other Shadow Matoran other than the ones as sets?
54.Did Miserix betray the BOM the melding universe?
65.When Teridax arrived on the island of Mata Nui, did he look like "Ultimate Dume" without wings?
76.Did any Klakk migrate to Spherus Magna?
87.Is Velika's original body dead?
98.were Norik and Iruini a part of the Toa Empire in that universe?
109.Did the Metru Nui matoran Vhisola, Ehyre, and Orkham keep their Metru Nui masks after moving to Mata Nui?
1110.Is there a full list of deceased characters who weren't revived on the Red Star?

12Sorry about that. I didn't realize how the reply system worked.

2Don't know. The MOL storyline came from the era when Bob Thompson ran the story team and I was not heavily involved, so I don't know when he decided to have Takua be the Toa of Light.

1Good evening, Greg! Some things that have been on my mind lately:

21) Matoran serve the purpose of keeping the giant robot alive and working, they in a way act as his blood. Then there are the Toa. They are the failsafe in case something threatens the Matoran. The job of Makuta is to create Rahi, like the Great Beings did. What purpose do the Rahi serve for the giant robot? Surely they were not just decoration and served a purpose..

32) What would happen (or would have happened) to the great spirit robot if every Rahi in the Matoran Universe was killed?

43) Do dead Rahi get teleported to the Red Star? Since they can be created by Makuta they should not have the necessity of being re-embodied in there.

54) At which point was Makuta Teridax told that he along with every other inhabitant of the Matoran Universe was living inside a giant robot? By who?

6Thanks for your time!

71) I always heard the Rahi were basically white blood cells.

82) It probably would have malfunctioned eventually.

93) No, they do not

104) Mutran told him

1Hello Greg I have some questions about the GB to ask you.

2You said that the GB does not have the technology to accelerate the evolution of other species. However they made a mask able to control life. So why the GB can not create a machine able to accelerate the evolution of other species?

3the GB have created the city as the city of Metru nui or the city of Artakha who was a very futuristic city. So why the GB did not builds a similar city for people of Spherus Magna?

4You recently said that swords of atakus was made from a prototype technology of the GB. Is that the GB have created other thing with this technology?

5The GB would be able to create an unlimited source of energy that would be capable of powered the city for many decades?

6When you said that the GB does not have the technology for the interstellar travel is that this is because they have really not the technology for this or is it because the GB do not feel the need to do it but they could do it? It is true that Mata Nui was not equipped for the interstellar travel but it does not forget that the task of Mata Nui was to explore the cultures of other planets in the solar system to avoid future conflicts and give him the information necessary to reform SM not explore the others galaxy.

7The GB have mechanical implants like Glatorian?

8Sorry for all these questions about the GB but I need this info for a fan fiction about the GB that i will write.

91) Because they didn't. The fact that they may have been capable of it does not mean they chose to do it.

102) Not that we know of, although we have not seen all of Spherus Magna.

113) Sure, it's possible

124) No idea. They haven't to my knowledge.

135) They don't have it.

146) Not to my knowledge

1Hey Greg, do you think the heartlights possessed by the Matoran and Toa could be linked to some sort of power plant in their bodies? (hence their behaviour-blinking/stuttering when the being is dying, bright when alive and healthy and dark when deceased)

2Certainly possible.

31) Might have brought this up before: perhaps all MU beings have this "powerplant" in their bodies as a repository for their "life energy," kind of like a chakra figuratively speaking, or a heart literally speaking? (kind of like the fictional Sparks from Transformers)

42) Also, do you think that perhaps small amounts of this "life energy" can somehow be converted into Elemental Power by the Toa (With Elemental "reserves" being the amount of life energy that can be safely converted without harming the user)? It seems like a really cool spiritual/fantastical quality for them to possess. This also makes sense in-universe, because it was stated when the Toa Nuva had their EP drained by the Piraka that once the Toa ran out of Elemental Power, they would continue to drain themselves of energy (presumably life energy) until they died.

15b That said, we know that matoran can rebuild themselves into stronger forms, as seen in the 2003 story. it would seem to me that they do this by modifying their mechanical parts, and leaving their organic ones alone. (yes?) relating to what the original question said about toa being able to take their armor off if need be, i'd think that toa could still do so, even if said armor is just their mechanical parts: considering matoran can do so to rebuild themselves, what's stopping a toa (the same species as matroan) from doing the same thing?

25c another thing i just thought of: if toa armor is akin to clothing instead of simply being part of their body, doesn't that make the exo-toa pointless? i remember when those sets were released, the big selling point was that now you could actually put your toa in a suit of armor. if toa armor is a separate thing, doesn't that contradict the point of the exo-toa?

3buried...

45b) Again, I got asked if Toa armor is removable, I said yes. I'm really not interested in debating whether that decision should get reversed. These points and counter-points needed to get included with the question asked.

55c) An exo-suit, by its nature, makes the wearer stronger, it does not just provide protection. The Exo-Toa suit had additional weaponry and enhanced the Toa's physical strength so he could better fight the Bahrag. I do not recall us ever selling it on the basis of "now your Toa can wear armor!" because we always said the Toa had armor.

6Unfortunately, I wasn't the one asking the question haha.... but as i pointed out in one of my responses (sorry there were so many... i couldn't fit it all in one!) having it be removable doesn't contradict being their mechanical parts... the matoran are able to rebuild themselves, so wouldn't that mean they have to remove their mechanical parts to rebuild them?

1Thanks again Greg! Hope you don't mind if I ask some questions again Smile

24) Are the sets generally all in canon size to each other besides the stars (like 2002 Toa Nuva - Piraka, 03 Matoran - 08 Matoran, 03 Takanuva - 07 Jaller, etc.)?

36) Did the 08 Matoran shrink back down to their original size when they left Karda Nui?

44) Yes

56) Unknown. The effect of the energies may well have been permanent.

64. I believe BS01 says that all toa are about the same height, despite varying set heights.

76. I think BS01 said something about them shrinking back down... IIRC, that was the reason that Takanuva was so much bigger than the rest of the toa in karda nui, and then shrunk back down later on: the energy in karda nui caused him, as a toa of light, to grow.

86a. We know that the energies of karda nui caused matoran of light to grow larger. are shadow matoran affected by the energy as well? if a shadow matoran was created from an element besides light, would they be affected by the energy?

21. "It is already known that the Matoran of Mahri Nui were partially mutated during their brief exposure to the Pit mutagen, and that this mutation altered them to resemble how they looked before their botched reconstruction by Karzahni. Greg believes that when Mata Nui undid the mutations of anyone exposed to the Pit mutagen, he had the ability to be selective and did not revert the Matoran back to their Karzahni forms. Greg believes that there was also no need to make the Matoran amphibious, since they were no longer living underwater."

3-Why did MN just make the matoran non-amphibious? Or were there other pit inhabitants that he made only air-breathers?

42. "In Greg's words, this is what would happen if two Agori from different tribes were to have a child, and what tribe that child would belong to: "Agori are not born with colors. They simply wear armor that has the color of the tribe they are in. So it would come down to which tribe the child (or their parents) chose to live in. For example, now that resources are not so scarce, if a Fire and Water tribe couple had a child, one parent or the other might choose to change villages and bring the child along.""

5-This kinda goes along with all my toa armor questions... you said that "agori are not born with colors", as if distinguishing them from the matoran species which are born with colors... same goes for "they simply wear armor..." This seems to me to further indicate that a toa's armor is merely their mechanical components.

13. "The Matoran will be able to feed on the organic animals found on the new Spherus Magna, just as they fed off of organic fish on the island of Mata Nui."

2-A little while ago, you compared agori eating protodermic food, like bula berries, to humans eating drywall. however, considering the quoted info, wouldn't it make more sense that if matoran can eat organic food, that agori could also eat protodermic food? If the food is similar enough that both work the same way on the matoran, wouldn't both work the same way in the agoirs' system? after all, liquid protodermis and water are similar enough that toa of water can control both.

34. "Special Av-Matoran will continue to transform into Bohrok even on the new Spherus Magna."

4-Why is this? Aren't the systems that transform them broken down? Or is it something internal in each matoran... like certain ones were designed at creation to transform at a certain time?

55. "In Greg's words, the Order of Mata Nui is currently doing "Pretty much the same thing they were doing before, enforcing the will of Mata Nui.""

6-Does this mean they are helping in the search for the great beings?

76. Matoran dream when they sleep, as humans do.

8-Did they do this before they gained sentience, or was this a result of that?

97. "In Greg's words, on the likelihood of a Toa of Stone having been a part of the Toa Mangai team: "I can't see why there wouldn't have been one.""

10-So far, we know that there were 11 total: 2 water, 1 fire, 4 ice, 1 air, and 1 stone. Of the 6 primary elements, only earth isn't represented in that list... was there a toa of earth on the Mangai team? Assuming there was, that leaves one last unknown toa... what element was (s)he?

1A few questions about the Mohtrek, Mask of Time Duplication.

2A. If someone was to use it, but hasn't had it all his/her life, would it only work with the ones that got the mask? Or with him/her before the mask getting teleported into the future too?

3B. When Bitil summoned his time dubbles in Karda Nui, was there any none-insectoid ones there?

4C. Could you control from what time they come from, or was it random?

123) But Matoran do not eat like we do. They eat by absorbing energy. They have no digestive system. Agori do, so eating  protodermis would be toxic to them.134) What systems? We have never said there was some mechanical device they had to pass through to become a Bohrok. It is the same as becoming a Toa -- you are destined to or you're not.

145) Among other things. MN's will is that the Matoran and Agori form a unified and peaceful society, so the OOMN has to help make that happen.

156) It was a result of that

167) Yes, and I have not determined what the last one was
