1You never replied, so I will just ask some more questions.

21.Did you ever own any of the bionicle sets?  If so, which was your favorite?

32.Which do you like more, the Phantoka(Lewa, Kopoka, Pohatu, the Mask of Life`s toa form and the song Gravity hurts), or the Mistika(Tahu, Gali, Onua, Takanuva, the song closer to the truth)?

43. What is your favorite Bionicle song?

54.  What is your favorite Bionicle movie?

11. How come Strakk's, Tarix's and Raanu's "mouths" on their helmets move when they talk in The Legend Reborn when it's just a helmet?

22. a) Do Skrall, Zesk, Vorox, Rock Agori and Bone Hunters wear helmets?

3    b) If yes, then why do their "mouths" move?

43. a) What makes Skrall and Bone Hunters be a diffrent species from the Glatorian and Agori, when the Rock Agori are     Agori?

5    b) Are Rock Agori actually a seperate species?

64. Would the skin colour of Glatorian/Agori be the same as their head (Green-Yellow, Red-Orange, Blue)?

75. Did Glatorian/Agori have hair? (I would guess no)

86. a) How come the Skrall have diffrent secondary colours? Is it a part of their armor?

9    b) If yes, why? Did they live in diffrent tribes of skrall prior to the core war?

10    c) What happened to them? We know that Lime and Red are the ones left on Bara Magna, maybe some "tribes" were killed by Barterra or Annona and others trapped on Bota Magna, some died as soldiers in the core war?

117. How come that, compared to Vorox and Skrall, the Glatorian are so few? Is it because we just didn't have focus in story on other Glatorian, or did they die in the Core War? I guess all Glatorian wouldn't been trapped on Bota Magna.

121-2) Because it was a movie. When you are making a movie for children, they have to be able to tell who is talking.

133) What makes any two species different?

143a) To my knowledge, yes

154) I would assume so

165) No idea

176) That was a movie thing, to make them more colorful. It could well have differentiated units within their army.

187) For one, you always make the enemy more numerous than the good guys. And we intended to focus only on set characters, which limited the number of Glatorian who would be in the story.

1Hey Mr. Farshtey, long time fan here.

2Just got this question that's bothered me for a while.

3In Legends of Metru Nui (and the associated comics and books) the Toa Metru struggled to discover their mask powers.  But... why? Surely, Vakama, a mask maker, would know the powers of all the masks they wore, and then it would be a simple process of focusing on the powers' activation.

4 It could be that the 'activation' part was what they were really stuck on, but the dialogue made it seem like they truly didn't know what the powers were in the first place.

5 What makes it more jarring is that Lhikan knew the powers of at least three of the six, and trained the Toa in the underground cell to realise these powers, even though Lhikan was not a mask maker himself.

6I am very grateful for your time on this chat Greg, it's amazing that you still come back to this two-year-long interview!

7Focusing on the powers' activation is not a simple process. It's like hitting a baseball -- it looks easy on the outside, but it's actually incredibly hard. As for your question, it was primarily a movie thing ... the discovery of the mask powers was all part and parcel of learning to be heroes, which is what the movie was about.

1Since it sounds to me like you are not involved in the new Bionicle line (if you aren't, I think that's a huge mistake on LEGO's part, but that's neither here nor there...), what lines are you currently working on at LEGO?

1Hey Greg, as a general rule, how tall are Turaga compared to Matoran?

2Easiest thing to do is a set comparison. I believe they are in scale.

1Hey Greg, now that Seeker is on Spherus Magna along with the Toa Hagah and Takanuva (who wears the Mask of Light), does that mean that Seeker is going to continue is pursuit of them?

2I can't see him pursuing the Hagah if he finds out Takanuva has the mask. He might well go after Takanuva, though.

1A few questions if you please:

21. You said something about Miserix building a power base for himself. Is he interested in conquest? Or just self-preservation? Or something else entirely?

32. Whatever happened to the Toa Metru's Toa Disks? Did they get rid of them, or leave them in Metru Nui? They didn't want the Matoran to remember they were Toa, so that seems like the most logical thing to do.

43. What would happen if a Toa Disk were forged into a mask? Would it be an elemental mask? Like if Vakama made a mask out of his, would it be a Mask of Fire?

54. You said that when a being is revived in the Red Star, they aren't all there mentally. How long does it take to pull themselves together?

65. The Red Star's revival function isn't common knowledge, and from the examples we've seen (Lhikan's death, etc.) people in the MU seem to think that once you're dead, you're dead. When a being is revived, are they sent to a different location? Do they remember their previous life?

76. Are Zyglak sent to the Red Star?

81) Probably both

92) Probably brought them to Mata Nui and hid them

103) Yes

114) Varies, depending on the being

125) Often, and yes

136) Not to my knowledge. The GBs had no interest in seeing zyglak survive, so the RS is not programmed to take them

27. Were Antidermis-based beings always exempt from the Red Star, or just after their evolution?

38. Do you think Helryx has completed her destiny, and could become a Turaga?

49. Would you consider Marendar to be humanoid/anthropomorphic/whatever or more abstract? I understand story development on it ended rather abruptly.

510. Am I correct in assuming a Toa's destiny can be made permanently unobtainable, barring them from becoming a Turaga?

611. How exactly did the Toa Nuva complete their destiny if the Ignika woke up Mata Nui? Did they just have to be involved in some way, rather than a specific method?

712. So, Glatorian have latent Elemental powers? That's what Mata Nui made it sound like when he granted them.

813. Has the Kraahkan reformed after being reduced to atoms? It sounded like it would eventually.

9Thank you.

107) Always

118) Yes

129) Humanoid

1310) What is that assumption based upon?

1411) Without the Toa Nuva, how does Ignika do what it did?

1Hi Mr Greg

21. Mata Nui explored the all of the system of solis magna? Because for one hundred thousand years of spatial travel I think he would have had time to explore it in full.

32.The Red Star is used to push out Mata Nui of gravitational field of a planet. But when Mata Nui is in space it can continue to travel in space independent of the RS? or Mata Nui needs the RS for its space travel?

43. If the Red Star would be damaged for some reason to a point where the RS is no longer operational while he is in orbit around a planet. Is the GSR had some kind of plan-b to leave the planet? Or he would be trapped on the planet?

54.In the comic the exile's tale Malum had at one point an identical weapon to the Cordak shooter. This mean that Cordak guns were based on these weapons?

61) He most likely went beyond that solar system

72) When MN is in space, the RS is attached to its back to provide additional boost.

83) Something would have to be done to replace it.

94) This means the artist had to work with existing models, as opposed to making up something new.

1"10. Am I correct in assuming a Toa's destiny can be made permanently unobtainable, barring them from becoming a Turaga?"

2"10) What is that assumption based upon?"

3I meant if, say, Mata Nui died and stayed dead, but the universe was evacuated in time, the Toa Nuva couldn't wake him up, so they couldn't achieve their destiny. Therefore, they couldn't become Turaga.

4"12. So, Glatorian have latent Elemental powers? That's what Mata Nui made it sound like when he granted them."

5"12) Can you reference the Mata Nui line you are referring to?"

6I don't have the book anymore, but it was in the Legend Reborn novelization. Mata Nui grants Ackar, Kiina, and Gresh Elemental powers, and says something along the lines of "I am only unlocking the power you always had." Or something like that. It made it sound like they had the power in them somewhere, but no way to tap into it.

7And a couple new ones:

81. You said you were planning a couple of plot points that never went anywhere due to BIONICLE's cancellation, like Takanuva's destiny involving the Great Beings. Is there one you were particularly looking forward to, or were disappointed couldn't go further?

92. Are the Great Beings keeping a low profile because they feel they'll be blamed for the Shattering?

103. Antidermis is protodermis-based like everything else, right?

113. Could the Vorox and Zesk regain their intelligence?

124. When was it decided Takua would become a Toa? The Mata Nui Online Game seems to hint at it (Vakama says he is preparing for the arrival of "another" when discussing the Toa, and Nokama says to Takua "perhaps you are to become a hero like the Toa"), but I don't think the makers of the game could have known he would.

135. Nokama chews and swallows a Karzahni root in Maze of Shadows. Are Matoran/Toa/Turaga capable of ingesting their food, but choose not to?

146. Do/could romantic relationships occur between Glatorian and Agori?

157. Would you say Agori and Glatorian are related in some way?

16Thank you.

177. Why?

1Hi Greg,

2Do you think that the Toa Inika had resistance to lightning as well as their normal resistance to their resepective elements?

3Is it true that Teridax's true destiny was supposed to be for him to take over the Second Robot and work together with Mata Nui to repair the planet, and that his desire to take over the universe was partly due to this unconciuos misinterpretaion of this purspose?

4Do you have any authors or peices of literature that stand out for you as sources of inspiration, particularly for when you you were writing for BIONICLE?

5Thank you Smile
