3There's been a lot of debate about whether or not there was weather in the MU. I don't think there was weather as such. However, given that Matoran are partly organic and do have to breathe, etc., there had to be some kind of life support and environmental control systems. Plus you probably had fire suppression systems (sprinklers and other things), some kind of ventilation system to keep the interior of the machine from overheating, etc. To someone who did not know they were in a big machine, these things would feel like what we consider to be weather.

82) I'm not entirely sure I understand your question. A Toa can create a Toa stone and not necessarily be using all of his/her power to do it. But the "sacrifice" of power usually involves becoming a Turaga, and you do have to sacrifice all your power to do that.

94) As you say, fan fiction you can do what you want, so there was no real reason to ask me. The only thing I would note is that  both Artakha and Karzahni were way beyond Toa power level, so making them Toa is going to weaken them as characters.

108) It doesn't. They can shapeshift because that is one of their powers.

119) There is no Matoran word for paradise that I remember, and I don't recall us coming up with prefixes for those elements since we did not do Matoran of them.

7I don't have the book anymore, but it was in the Legend Reborn novelization. Mata Nui grants Ackar, Kiina, and Gresh Elemental powers, and says something along the lines of "I am only unlocking the power you always had." Or something like that. It made it sound like they had the power in them somewhere, but no way to tap into it.

 

 

81) It's a good question. If Mata Nui's destiny was to die, then it wouldn't make sense for them to have a destiny to save him. So you can see where it becomes something of a morass if you think that way

92) This is how I interpreted that line in the script. I think that Mata Nui felt or sensed or imagined that somewhere down the line in the evolutionary path, Glatorian would develop these powers. So all he was doing was giving them to the warriors early.

 

11. You said you were planning a couple of plot points that never went anywhere due to BIONICLE's cancellation, like Takanuva's destiny involving the Great Beings. Is there one you were particularly looking forward to, or were disappointed couldn't go further?

134) I believe that was part of the original concept of BIONICLE. It was always intended that Takua come across as different and special, so I believe the creators of the line had this in mind from the start.

145) They have no real need to do so. In that case, it was simply a faster way to self-repair.

156) Could, yes. Do they? I tend to think there are probably still societal mores against that. SM seems to have somethng of a class system, with the Glatorian and Agori playing very different roles, so I have a feeling that romantic relationships would be frowned on. That doesn't mean there have never been ANY, but I doubt they are in the open.
