1so greg, I was reading in Bionicle Legneds #8: Challenge of the Hordika, chapter 7, I quote: "Nokama's words pierced Matau's heart. She was his friend, and at times he wished she could be more than that."

2More than a friend? that is love being involved in a book you wrote, even though you made love uncannon before then Joking

3Can this contraditction to cannon be explained? Joking

4Well, I have friends -- people I can go to lunch with, or go to a movie with, or talk about work with -- and then I have FRIENDS, the people I share really good stuff and really bad stuff in my life, people I can tell anything to and I know will be there no matter what. Those aren't romantic relationships, but I consider them a step above "friend."

5makes sence, however, there is the fact that Matau was constantly hitting on Nokama in the the 2004-2005 books Joking

6Keep in mind that this sort of thing was also going on in the 2004 and 2005 movies, and the novels had to live in the movie universe since the series included movie novelizations.

7ah, so MatauxNokama is not cannon? Joking alright. Joking

1Question about Legendary Kanohi:

2I know I've asked this before, but I didn't quite get a clear answer: Since there disastorus effects (time unraveling, everyone dying) when Legendeary Kanohi are destroyed, are they basically time bombs now? Because all things deteriorate after a while, so does this essentially spell doom for the whole universe? Or a deteriation will have no effect, becuase it is just a natural decay?

3No, because there is no evidence that these masks affect the universe outside of Mata Nui. Why would the Great Beings, for example, create a mask that would kill THEM if it broke? If the Ignika "went off," it would only kill MU beings, not anyone else. If the Mask of Time breaks, it's not going to affect time in the whole universe ... it's like a clock in a bomb. If it's in the bomb, it has the potential to be lethal - if it's not in the bomb, it doesn't.

4So now the Mata Nui robot is destroyed, they don't have this problem?

1Can Battera turn into elements like water and lava?

2Thanks,

11. Does the extent to which a being is mentally disturbed/damaged upon revival in the Red Star depend on the method in which they died? E.g. 'old age' would be far less traumatic than being KIA, so the being's consciousness is more likely to survive?

22. If the answer is yes, is that why Mavrah retained his personality? Because he did not die in a particularly gruesome manner?

33. Does the Red Star only work on beings inside the MU? Would it work now that Mata Nui is dissassembled?

44. Is damage to the Vahi less of a concern now that the MU is destroyed? I.e. would the Vahi's destruction have little to no impact compared to if it had broken inside the active MU?

55. Do all MU inhabitants absorb energy through touch? What about carnivorous Rahi?

66. What was the rest of the Brotherhood of Makuta doing during the Dark Times?

77. Was Teridax the most powerful Makuta or did he simply have the higher will and cunning over his peers?

88. In the Bionicle movies the character's eyes glow. Is this an actual feature of the MU and SM inhabitants, or was it a feature of the animation?

99. Similarly, in TLR we see the Glatorian and Agori appear to have mechanical parts e.g. spinning cogs in their chests. Is this a feature of the animation as well or a canon part of their physiology?

2I never played any of them.

5The MU beings would still be endangered by the Ignika, because their lives are tied to it.

1Hello. I have been wanting to ask you questions for some time now.

21. Is there more than one way to become a toa?

32. Do toa want to become turaga? Or do they have no choice.

43. What is the point of turaga? What is their functions in the villages?

54. Did you have anything to do with the 2010 storyline? In my opinion it sucked.

65. Do you think they will make new versions of Rahi in the G2 storyline?

7Thanks

1If I may ask a slightly unrelated question:

21. Hasn't this thread been going on for a year or two? Your dedication is admirable, sir!

3But anyway. Thanks for being a good writer for LEGO, you guys gave me and a lot of others a lot of enjoyment. I realize it's your job, but you seem to put a lot of passion into it. I respect people who can do that.

1Hey Greg, in the G1 Bionicle storyline, was Makuta ever aware of Toa being able to transform through the use of Toa Stones?

11. Is the Element of Plasma, as defined in Bioncile, simply superheated gas to be manipulated?

22. Who are more advantaged in their manipulation of elemental powers; the Toa or the Element Lords?

33. Since the Element Lords are composed of their element e.g. Water Lord made of Water, would an elemental being (e.g. Toa, Skakdi) be able to control the element their body was made of, and therefore control them?

44. Why did the Toa Inika specifically have living masks and glowing faces? Or was it simply a feature you included to make them fit with the sets?

55. Could a Great Being revive a deceased MU inhabitant without the Red Star? Perhaps considering the equivalent of a technician mending a broken device?

66. If a Mohtrek user inscribed details of later events on their past self (Doctor Who Silence style) could the past version alter the future?

77. Could the Golden Armour be used repeatedly to destroy Rahkshi?

88. Are Toa endangered in regards to their population?

99. When the Makuta became antidermis, did they lose the capacity to be revived since they had no physical form?

1010. What levelled Xia after the Shadowed One found the viruses?

1111. Do all Ussal go through the same metamorphosis that Pewku did?

1212. Did the Toa have their own houses or places of residence on Mata Nui?

1313. Is Velika the Great Being's true name?

1414. If Matoran are constructed, how are Rahi created?

1I have an additional question to my previous list:

2In The Powers that be, Kopaka saw thing sin the Red Star that "he could have lived without seeing." Biosector presumes these are kestora, but since he already encountered Kestora, and had not the same reaction, am i correct in assuming these beings are Matoran Universe natives who's minds could not handle the transference, and existed now in a sort of Zombified state?

3Yes

4he's seen grizzlier things than "zombified" matoran though. (in 2003 he saw matoran that had infected masks.)

5i'd bet what he saw was something along the lines of someone being "reborn", i.e. their new body being created or something.

  1. 1Is it plausible for the barraki to raise an army after teridax's fall to conquer SM?
  2. 2Is it plausible that Makuta Teridax had reserves of Antidermis somewhere that survived?
  3. 3Were there more of Annona's species, or was she one of a kind?
  4. 4Does the Energized Protodermis Entity represent any being native to SM?
  5. 5What is the Origin of Energized protodermis? How did it gain sentience? Is it considered a 'native species' to Spherus Magna alongside Annona?
  6. 6If I recall correctly, you stated there were just under 20 Great beings. There are about 18 differant elements in Canon Bionicle. Is there any correlation between this? (I.E. are GBs specifically attuned to a specific element?)
  7. 7Is there more of the GB race somewhere in the universe, or are they the last of their kind?
  8. 8Do Great beings have any equals on Spherus Magna? Is the EP Entity considered their equivelant?
  9. 9Is tehre a correlation between Tren krom and Annona's similar appearance?

10That's all for now, I look forward to your answers! Happy

11Ummm... greg, did you see this?

125) It is a natural substance on SM. And it may well have always been sentient

135. could it be that it's simply a property of protodermis to gain sentience over time? that would explain why the matoran became sentient when they were programmed to simply be machines. velika's involvment in the process could simply have been speeding it along.
