Just a thought, has anyone ever thought of drawing the characters with fingers?

Anyway, I'll have to google his name sometime. He probably has a website....
Care to show us what he submitted to earn the position?

I liked the teaser in the Nov. Lego Magazine. I think that person would do good, but the new artist has already been chosen. Well, I can't wait to recieve the new comics.

I can't wait. I'll have to google him sometime, like ChocolateFrogs said. Hey ~Lessy~, what (or who) is TNB?

EDIT: Just checked him out on Google and Google Images. Doesn't look to bad, especially from what I can see from his site. find it here

Well, after seeing some of his work I guess this is as close to a replacement of Carlos D'anda as you can get. I'm eagerly awaiting to see the March Issue in 2008.

But wait...Greg, is it possible to do something like in 2006 where a comic #0 was released showing Sayger's art and an interview? Or would it be too late to do something like that?
Original#27
thanks Greg! this is gonna be sweet!

New artist?Yaaaay! Not that i didn't like Sayger, but a new artist will be cool.

So,there is a reason that the Ignika is Silver, huh? Can't wait to find out what it is!

Yay! New artist! I hope Sayger will come back anytime soon. I liked his art. But I can`t wait to see his art! I think it will be awesome! I haven`t seen it yet but, if its good for Lego, it must be good enough for us!

CF - No, if they were going to be drawn with fingers, etc. it most likely would have been done by Stuart. Before and after Stuart, the mandate is to make the figures look like the sets. Stuart is the only artist whose brief was that he could drift away from the set looks.

Jala12 - Unfortunately, no. We were about a week away from releasing the January LEGO Magazine to the printer when the decision got made on who the new artist would be, so there wasn't time.

Re: the question on the Nuva blog -- the blog takes you up to the Nuva's visit to Artakha in Bionicle Legends #8.
