1Hello Mr. Farshtey, I have a few questions on 2008 and the Phantoka.
21)Does "Phantoka" refer to the six canister sets in January only, or all the 12 canister sets?
32)Are the January canister sets called "Phantoka" because they can all fly?
43)Are all the small sets Matoran? 53 b )If not, what are they? 64)Are the three January villans Makuta, or are they servants?
75)When will there be any box images for the Nuva and three Matoran?
8Thanks:

91) Just January 102) Basically, Phantoka is a Matoran word meaning "spirits of the air" 113) Yes 124) Makuta 135) As far as I know, the images of the three January Nuva and Matoran are out already -- I have seen people commenting on here about them.

14Oh, so the Nuva and Makuta canisters are the same...

15So... does that mean the other three Toa Nuva won't be flying....

1Hello, Mr. Farshtey. I have a few more questions regarding this year's Makuta.
21. Do they wear Kanohi?
32. Do they all possess all 42 Rahkshi powers?
43. Are they all wearing forms like Makuta's 2003 form, in that if they are destroyed their energy will leak out and form Antidermis?
54. What is your average Makuta like when simply observing their realm? Do they quietly sit and monitor their assigned region? Do they build imposing fortresses and the like, and actively take part in its running? Do they create armies for themselves like the MoMN did through experimentation and general "mad science," even if they don't necessarily need them? Or are all of these equally likely, and it depends on the personality of the Makuta?
65. Just posing this as a seperate question from 4: Do all Makuta tend to have armies of Rahkshi like the MoMN, or did he make all the Rahkshi because he needed them for his takeover or Metru Nui?

71) Yes 82) The winter ones do, yes 93) Yes, all Makuta are pure energy encased in armor. 104) It depends on the Makuta. Some are devoted to experimentation, others are warriors, and others are thinking more big picture like MoMN. 115) Any Makuta can make Rahkshi, not all of them have need of them for what they are doing. Some rely more on Rahi or Visorak. You tend to use Rahkshi when you don't care if you lay waste to an entire area, because they are so destructive.

11: Do the Phantoka Makuta have Kanohi?
22: Do their Kanohi have powers?
33: Will there be another wave of Matoran later 2008?
44: Will there be a small set wave later 2008?
55: The launchers the Nuva use, are they called Midak Skyblasters?
66: And for Makuta, Trydax Pods?

7~T11~

81-2) Yes 93) No 104) No 115-6) Too early to discuss this.

1Don't know if this has been asked before, but it was new to me, so...
2Hello, Greg: This is the first time I've PMed you, but since I am an administrator on Bioniclepedia (not BS01; it's the Bionicle wiki on Wikia--here's a link), I must have something clarified.
3Recently, with the appearance of the leaked winter 2008 images, the names "Karda Nui" and "Midak Skyblaster" have appeared as well. Karda Nui is supposedly the name of the Mainland/Universe Core, and the members of Bioniclepedia are trying to decide whether we should rename our Mainland page as "Karda Nui". We were looking for official word from you about it, but since we could not find anywhere where you confirmed it or denied it, I decided I would just ask you.
4So my question is: Is the Mainland really named Karda Nui? I understand if you can't answer, being that it's only mid-October, but I would really appreciate it if you could just say "Yes, it is" or "No, it isn't".
5By the way, I think it's great that the writer of the Bionicle books and comics actually takes the time to regularly post, blog and answer fan questions on a fan website. :) (I'm sorry if you got this message twice; the first time I sent it it just didn't send, so I'm sending it again and hoping you don't already have it.)

61) No, the mainland is not called Karda Nui, because the mainland and the core are not the same place, anymore than an eggshell and a yolk are the same thing.

7Thank you for the prompt reply, Greg. Just out of curiosity, does that mean that the Universe Core is called Karda Nui?

8You'll find out in 2008.

1Hi Greg, i had a little question:
2Can Toa Pohatu use his claws as a propellor or is this just a fault on the poster?
3thanks if you can or can't answer it
4ps: sorry for my bad English
5Toa Rhiyo

6Yes, he can -- the propellers fold in half to form drill claws.

7I hope it's useful :)

13I just took that to mean the summer ones wouldn't have all 42 powers for some reason. We already know MoMN does, so it would make sense that the others do too.

1Sweet, Chirox Antroz and Vamprah are wearing masks?: Those masks are just disturbing (In the good way).
2Hi Greg, think the server ate my last message. Again.
31.) (Not sure if you can answer this) What was the original Storyline plan for 2008, before you decided to have the Nuva return in September of 2006? Were the Inika going to transform again?
42.) (Not sure if you can answer this) In as few words as possible, how would you descibe Chirox, Antroz, and Vamprah?
53.) What are the (Evil) Phantoka and (Evil) Matoran based off of? They have a bat-like resembalence, to me.
64.) Does Artahka know who Chirox, Vahmpra, and Antroz are? Does he warn the Nuva about them? 74a.) Does the Nuva's "Upgrade" get explained in Downfall?
85.) Who came up with Chirox's name, by the way? It sounds awsome.
9Lastly, tell Chris and his Design team that this has to be one of the Best canister waves I have wever seen, and I love the revamped Nuva more than the originals: They obviously put a lot of energy into this, and I congradulate them. The small sets are amazing, too. As usual, these are first on my Christmas list:
10Thanks in Advance:

111) Yes, originally the Inika would have been the stars of 2008 and transformed again for the new environment. 122) They're Makuta 133) I know the Makuta are based off bats, and the Matoran sort of look like that too 144) He probably knows they exist, but he has no way to know they specifically are going to be the ones the Toa deal with first. 154a) Yes 165) Don't remember, just came off our list.

1Well, these answers didn't turn out like I hoped. Looks like an interesting year, 2008.
2Here are some questions that I think some people will find interesting.[ol type='1'[li]Since canister sets next year will be split between 3 Toa/3 bad guys per wave, will both waves be shown in the comics at the begining of the year?[li]Will the waves be released in a way similar to that of the Hordika and Visorak?[li]The small sets seem to be miniture versions of the revealed canisters. Will their be more small sets to corispond with the other canisters?[li]Could the rahi in the Mahri mini-movie be the same as the Dweller of the Deep Toa Nokama encountered?[/olThanks for your time:

31) No. We won't have summer sets to provide to the comic artist that early. 42) Similar in what way? We always do sets twice a year, January and August. 53) No 64) I doubt it

1Hello Greg, I have a theory:
2[/QUOTE]1-TSO has a Toa in stasis in his throne room. Pohatu turned every stone in TSO's fortress to dust. You have stated that the Toa would only be freed if he was on an upper level (because the impact would shatter the tube). In BA10, it is stated that TSO had a spiral staircase leading to the training rooms below. That leads me to believe the stasis tube would have fallen and shattered on impact. Am I correct?
32-Is the :st Toa alive?
43- Is the Toa in stasis the 1st Toa?
5Thanks in advance. 6~:v:~

7No, the Toa in stasis is not the first Toa ... and while you make a good case for the tube falling, remember that it would be falling into a huge pile of dust which would cushion the impact.

8Darn it: I thought it would be cool if a new Toa was freed.

1If the av matoran could use mask powers then why takua couldn't use his?

2Maybe that's why it was scrapped. Or maybe they planned on having those Matoran really well mentally diciplined.

3Becuase Takua had a mask that was powerless.

4I asked Greg, I'll post it later, but it's because of the 40 mask powers around and the story team didn't want to get the fans confused, or something, in anycase I'll post it later.

1Hi, after seeing the new 2008 pics, I had a couple questions;
21. You stated that there are 7 Makuta sets this year. We know about Icarax, are the others the Phantoka? 32. Would the location, size of the location, or contents of the location explain why exactly 8 Makuta [after MoMN's culling, I'd guess to be about an eighth of them have headed to the same place as the Toa Nuva? 43. Are the Av-Matoran's appearance-changing powers powerful enough to explain why the new Matoran like Gavia and Photok have a different body structure than any incarnation of Takua we've seen? Could this also explain Radiak's appearance? 54. Have any Av-Matoran returned to recolonize TWTFTW? 65. Is there a storyline for Photok's and Pohatu's coloring? 76. I can't see from the pictures, but do the Matoran have elbow/knee articulation?
8And an unrelated; 9What do you think of the John Simm Master? I personally like how he paralled the Tenth Doctor, but was wondering what you thought.

101) No, Phantoka is a sub-brand that applies to both heroes and villains in winter, and there will be a second sub-brand in summer. 112) Yes, and they were there before the Nuva got there 123) Nope 134) Follow the story and find out 145) Well, we know from past storyline that every stone Matoran is not brown ... the ones who came from Metru Nui were brown. Obviously, where Photok came from, they aren't. As for Pohatu, all the changes to his armor get explained. 156) I don't have the sets, so can't answer this 167) I thought they were trying a little too hard to make him The Joker.

2Maybe you should clean that up so it's not all lumped together.
3I have a few questions for you sir if you would be so kind as to answer them.
41. Just curious, do you read epics, short stories or comedies? 51a. If you do could you read my epic: Birth of Chaos in my signiture? I'd be honored if you could help me with my writing.
62. At what time do they leave from Mata-Nui to Metru-Nui? After the story of Metru-Nui, do they leave immediatly, are they still getting boats together, etc.?
73. Is it possible for a mask to grow a body with enough energy? I'm not asking about Toa Ignika, but for my epic, though it doesn't matter if it can or not since that part of my epic is posted.
84. So all of the canister villians are Makuta in 08 right?
95. Are those "mutated" matoran Matoran of Light?
106. Why was the idea of letting them use mask powers gotten rid of?
117. About the reboot, I don't know if you can answer this, but I'll put it this way. If Bionicle was one large book and each storyline, Rahi, Bohrok, etc. were each a chapter, would the reboot be like a second part? I mean if the book was split into multiple parts, one prior and the second later, maybe using some information from the first, but somewhat different from it?
128. Where did you get your avatar from if you don't mind answering?
139. Why is there a question mark after the GF in it? GF is Greg Farshtey, but what is the question mark for?
14Thank you as always.

151) Nope, not allowed to read fan fiction 162) After Vakama completes his story, they depart. 173) It is possible for the Ignika to do it, no other mask that we know of 184) Yes 195) Yes 206) Because it would have added one more layer of things fans had to remember and I had to keep straight in story. You already have villains with 40 powers and new mask powers, and you were already going to have the Matoran with two powers apiece. It was going to get confusing. 217) I see 2009 as being the start of a new "series," just as BIONICLE Legends replaced BIONICLE Adventures. 228) Been so long I don't remember 239) Because I get asked questions all the time on here
#10054
1Q: Just one question. I heard that the story changed drastically in September of '06. Did the original story plan call for the death of Mata Nui too?
2Thanks in advance.

3A: Yes. What changed was the ending of '07 and the ending of '08. Had we stuck with the original plan, he would have died in '08 rather than '07

11)Who named the Nuva and Makuta "Phantoka"? Was it one of the Matoran?
22)Did the Villan Phantoka ever use their "bombs" before?
33)Will Zaktan appear in 2008? He has information on the BoM's plan, and it is said that he will use it.
44)Will next year's collectibles be the projectiles?
55)Are Vamprah, Antroz and Chirox (VAC) directly responsible for Gavla, Radiak and Kirop's (GRK) looks?
66)Do GRK have masks or faces?
77)Do VAC have masks or faces?
88)Is Mata Nui's health related to every single Matoran in the Bionicle Universe?
9Thanks again:

101) It's a Matoran term, so Matoran 112) I am not going to discuss storyline 123) Depends on if I have room for him. 134) I have no info on this. 145) See answer to #2 156) Masks, like all Matoran 167) Masks 178) No.

18So GAC still have masks... 19I hope Zaktan will be mentioned. It will be interesting, with the great big battle fought out there while one single clump of Protodites is planning.

1Hi greg I wanted to ask you a few questions.
21) I think I remember you saying that there are no computers in Bionicle. Can this be confirmed?
32) I think I also remember that you said that instead of computers robots like Vahki use cogs and gears (this was said quite a long time ago I think). Can this also be confirmed?
43) So this means that robots in Bionicle use mechanical computers (ones that use cogs and gears to work) instead of the usual microchip based computer?
54) I was thinking about how three toa could rival three Makuta in battle and I remembered the quote in your signature. What I want to ask is this - have this year's canister villains been forced to shape shift into their current forms?
65) Have this year's canister villains been weakened because of this ?
76) I assume protodites don't have a very long life span. If that is true then how come Zaktan's protodites haven't died yet?

81) Yes 92) Yes, clockwork mechanisms 103) Yes 114) Nope 125) Nope 136) Why do you assume that?

14Because most insects in the real world don't last for more than a few months. So basic logic would be that Protodites would not last for a few years (since most bionicle creatures live for a very long time)

15But we're not in the real world -- and Earth science and Earth biology need not apply

16Nothing new here. My theory (question number four) got ruined though

2It think the BOMatoran are Av as well. 3Just got these: 41. Who is the leader of the Phantoka Makuta?
52. The Phantoka Nuva?
63. Can the Matoran fly by themselves?
74. Can the BOMatoran fly by themselves?
85. Are those set pictures the final sets or prototype?
96. Are there any collectibles planned for next year?
107. Promos?
118. So you said the original plan of '08 was more Inika/Mahri. Would they have been sky-themed?
129. Will the tragic ending be in BI11 or book only?
1310. Does Icarax want the Ignika?
1411. Does MakutaoMN consider Icarax a threat?
1512. Have you decided if you will reveal MoMN's real name?
1613. In the eye's of MoMN, is his grand plan still working out, even with his Kraahkan gone?
1714. Are the Phantoka Makuta loyal to MoMN? 1814b. Are they acting on his orders?
191-4, 10-11, 14) Please see my newest blog entry "2008 FAQs" 205) Final 216) Don't have that info 227) Don't have that info 238) Yes 249) Both 2512) Yes, in Bionicle Legends #9 2613) Oh, sure. 1Not really, maybe "Phantoka" is in another language.
2Hold up a moment. There could be multiple words for "spirit" Norweigen has at least 5 ways to say welcome. French has vu and tu (I might have gotten that wrong) spanish has Ud. and tu. Don't panic yet.
#10064
1And English has ghost, spirit, spectre, etc.
2And Toa of Protodermis, that was spam, and also, impolite...
3Anyway, I have some answers (I know some of them have already been posted, forgive me):
4Thanks, I read that in the OGDT shortly after I sent the PM, lol. Nice sig quote, BTW. Anyway, I have a few more questions if you don't mind
51) Another member wanted confirmation that Artahka only ever had one fight, and you comfirmed it, saying that the fight was between him and Karzahni over the Mask of Creation. Does this confirm the mask's existance?
61b) If not, can you confirm the mask's existance?
72) I read in the OGDT that "Spinax has belonged to Hydraxon a lot longer than to Maxilos." How did Maxilos get him?
83) Is Icarax going to be a winter or summer set?
94) Does the Icarax set wear the Kraahkan, or is the Kraahkan an accessory? (IE the Rua that came with McToran Hafu)
105) What shape and color is the Kanohi Rua? (Wairuha's Kanohi) The plastic version is chrome silver and in a Hau shape, yet I have seen it as an opaque silver Miru and as an opaque gold Miru.
116) Is the 14 karat solid gold Hau supposed to be Akamai's mask, the Kanohi Aki?
127) There seems to be confusion with the web serials. What order do they take place in?
138) Just for confirmation, the currently existing Toa are: 6 Toa Hagah, 6 Toa Nuva, 6 Toa Mahri, the Toa in TSO's fortress, Lesovikk, Takanuva, and 35 others, correct?
149) Is Krakua one of the other 35 Toa?
1510) You confirmed that the Toa Mata Kanohi are Artahka style. Why are some Matoran masks and the other Mata masks that the Turaga hid the same style? (storyline-wise, I mean)
1611) Are there going to be small sets with the summer line-up?
17Thanks:
181) Yes 192) From Hydraxon. Being a guard with responsibility for tracking escapees under normal circumstances, made sense to have him work with Spinax 203) Winter 214) He does wear it 225) You are really going back there ... don't remember. 236) Again, you are talking about a six year old promotion and not something that is front of mind for me. 247) The podcast jumped a little bit ahead, unfortunately, of the Nuva blog, but for the most part, they are taking place simultaneously 258) Yes 269) Yes 2710) Well, we know the Toa Mata were legends, and we know that there were carvings of Tahu's Hau representing Mata Nui. Makes sense there would be carvings of their style of masks that later masks would be based off of. 2811) No, we don't normally do that.
29BTW, the sig quote I was referring to is
30"You know, I have discovered a way to force a being to shapeshift and then lock him permanently into just one form. Grab me again, and you will spend eternity as a very angry frost beetle ... with a broken arm." -- BIONICLE Legends 9: Shadows in the Sky

Dr. Khols
1Hey Greg, I have some questions:
2(1 Will MoMN be realeased in 2008?
3(2 Which 2008 matoran do you like best?
4(3 Will the Toa Nuva have the same mask type?

5(1 No.
6(2 I don't have a prereference.
7(3 Yes.

8Well, number 1 dissapoints me, I was hoping MoMN would be a set again.

9Did you mean mask power or Nuva ability mask? (P.S. This is to Dr. Khols)
#10066
1QUOTE 21. Is Takanuva more powerful than all of the other toa(excluding Toa Ignika)?
32. What ever happened to revealing the origin of the Krana in BL6?
43. Will MoMN be in the story next year?
54. Which Islands were Chirox, Vamprah, and Antroz assigned to?
65. What exactly was the red star?
7Thank You

81) No, he's not. Toa Nuva can share mask powers, Takanuva cannot. Takanuva is the same power level as the original Toa Mata (Tahu and company, circa 2001-2002), the Toa Hagah, the Toa Mahri, and the Toa Metru. He just happens to command an element that works well against Makuta.
92) Already been done. It was revealed in the LEGO BrickMaster Magazine this year that the first krana were made by the Great Beings from the material left over from the creation of the first Matoran. That was all over BZP months ago.
103) I can't discuss next year's story.
114) I am not going to discuss their bios yet, it's too early
125) Hasn't been revealed.

The Invisible Noob

17Prododites are actually reptiles, I think it said so in BL5...

1Just some for this year.
2Alright, with the leaked images out of the way, here's some I originally intended to send. Again, anything future, you don't have to answer if you wish not to.
3Story 41. Just something I find intriguing. Ever since Bionicle began, I've noticed characters who always say certain terms in their sentences(Ex. Hydraxon says Runner, Roodaka-Hordling, and of course, Makuta-Little Toa). I know not how to say it, but is this your way of giving a character's personality a bit more...flavor?
52. Based on Karzahni's hateful speech about Artahka, does that imply both beings had a strained relationship?
63. Also, given Karzahni's attitude towards Makuta, is he one of the few beings who's not afraid of the master of shadows?
74. Just something that I find interesting. Everybody, no matter how big, strong, or smart they are, is afraid of something. As such, what do you perceive as being Mata Nui's fear?
85. Something I've been pondering of. Had the original BL7 remained on schedule, would this year's story have been any different, if at all?
96. Am I correct/incorrect in assuming that Hewkii's mask power is for humor purposes(as was applied to Nuparu and his former Mask of Flight)?
10Misc. 111. Back when I was a novice member, I asked you what type of music you enjoyed, and you replied jazz. Which jazz artist do you enjoy?
12That's it. Thank you...bah, that's not enough. With 2008 sounding quite intriguing, and all the effort you and the group have put in conceiving Bionicle, I have to thank you, your team, and the set designers, for your time. :)
13-Xenogears

141) Yup 152) Yes. They fought over the Mask of Creation ages ago and Artakha won, something that Karzahni resents. 163) Well, remember, he didn't even know there was such thing as a Makuta until mere days ago, so he really has no reason to fear him. 174) I would say failing to protect his universe. 185) There would have been more to it, but it would not have markedly changed events in the other books, because I write on the basis that the events of the original 7 did happen. 196) Not sure which mask power you are referring to here? 201) My favorite is Diana Krall. I also like Stacey Kent a lot.

1Hello Mr. Farshtey. I was kind of dissapointed that i wasn't chosen for the competition but i congratulate those who qualified. Here are some questions.
21. If Kirop, Radiak, and Gavla are Av-matoran, how did they end up serving Makuta?
32. In Bionicle World, it is stated that Makuta are shapeshifters. Does that mean that this year's evil canister sets would be changing forms all the time, or are they locked into a single form?
43. The Mahritoran have been given active roles for this year. Will the Phantoka-toran be even more involved in the storyline than the Mahritoran?
54. Which revamped Toa Nuva do you prefer?
65. Will there be mention of the summer sets in the first '08 book or will it only cover the winter sets?
76. Why is Pohatu's mask so similar to the Vahi?
87. Has Kardas reached Mata Nui yet?
98. Does Kopaka have wings in '08. He looks rather like an aeroplane.
109. Could you reveal the function of the two projectiles of winter?
1110. When will these sets be released?
1211. Will the Toa Hagah aid in the inevitable final conflict?
1312. What period of tme do the Piraka attack the Mahri
1413. Does Axonn aid the Mahri against the Piraka?
1514. What is Brutaka's fate?
1615. Are the Piraka the cause of the "Great Tragedy"?

171, 9) Please see my blog entry, "2008 FAQs." 182) No, they are not locked into that form, but since that is the form of the '08 sets, that is the form they will be in in story. 193) I would say yes 204) Haven't decided. I am usually partial to Kopaka 215) The summer Nuva will appear in the first book, the summer villains will not. 226) Because that is how the set designers made it. 237) I'm sure he has 248) Yes 2510) Scheduled for January 2008 2611) Don't know yet 2712) When the Mahri are bringing the Matoran up the cord 2813) Follow the story and find out 2914) Brutaka will be reappearing this year in the Dreams of Destruction serial on BIONICLEstory.com 3015) No. It would be pointless to have so big a story point caused by characters whose sets are almost two years old.

31Phew, I thought that the Piraka would go mass-murder the Matoran.
3214) Which issue? Will he fight Karzahni?
33New questions.
341) Is a Nova Blast able to defeat Karzahni or a Makuta? 352) Which is your favorite small set? 363) How is Sarda going to survive in air as he goes up the Cord? 374) Did the Zyglak attack them on their way up the Cord? 385) Is Karzahni going to appear in '08 or is he going to perish this year? 396) Which is your favorite evil Phantoka? 407) How is Krakua's creation involved with the Inika? 418) Is Dume still angry at Nokama for spilling their secrets to Jaller? 429) How will the Turaga react to seeing 6 of their Matoran as Toa Mahri? 4310) When are the Nuva or Mahri going meet the Turaga again?

4414) Chapter 7 of the serial on the site 451) We'll never know until someone tries using one 462) Don't have one 473) Who said he was going up the cord? 484) Follow the story and find out 495) I don't have plans to put him in '08, no room 506) Vamprah 517) Well, if the Inika don't do their job, the whole universe dies, right? 528) He doesn't have time to hold grudges. 539) We'll see if that ever happens. 5410) I can't discuss future storyline

55So Brutaka is coming back. And i thought Sarda would shelter in the underground chambers of Voya Nui.

1Here are 2 sets of questions I gave in the aftermath of the 2008 sets being revealed:
2To Mr. Farshtey,
3Now that the 2008 sets are revealed, I've got some questions: not anything to unanswerable (i hope), but just some stuff I want to clarify.
41. Are Vamprah and Gavla male or female?
52. Are the 3 small non-Matoran sets villains?
63. About the Toa Nuva:
7It's been said that they have split in the storyline: Kopaka, Lewa, and Pohatu going one way, and Tahu, Gali, and Onua another.
8What was the nature of the split? No need to be specific, but was it:
9a. They are still on the same mission, and just going separate ways to accomplish different parts of it.
10or (I pray not)
11b. It's an outright schism, and the Nuva are now firmly in different camps.
12Thanks for your time,

131) Gavla is female, Vamprah is male 142) They're not non-Matoran, they are Matoran 153) It's 3a. We're not doing the lack of unity thing again, been there, done that. They have a lot of ground to cover and it makes sense to split up.

16To Mr. Farshtey,
17Sorry to send you more questions so soon, but I still have a lot of questions I didn't write down the first time.
181. About my last set of question's Question 2: Are the red, blue, and black Matoran villains? (you never answered this. )
192. Now that Mata Nui is dead, what are the Toa Mahri's and Toa Nuva's destiny? (they both tie into Mata Nui's well-being.)
203. Will the Mahri be seen next year in supporting roles?
214. If Mata Nui is dead, how can the universe be saved at all?
225. If Lesovikk met Turaga Jovan, how come he never met his old friends?
23Thanks for your time, 24Shyyrn

251-4) I can't discuss future storyline 265) Where does it say he met Jovan when Jovan was a Turaga? He might well have met him when Jovan was a Toa.

21 how do you shoot those new blasters in 2008
32 does radiak have 4 legs
43 why is there someone named toa ignika
54 where did chirox antroz and vamprah come from

7You have to PM Greg, the link is on the first page.
8He wouldn't be able to answer any of them.

1Hello, Mr. Farshtey. After seeing the new 2008 set pictures, I saw something on one of the Makuta set pictures that got me thinking: 2On the image of Chirox, there's an orange sphere with little creatures coming out. Are those creatures the result of the experiments on the Kraata that occured earlier this year?
3You'll find out when we start 2008 story

4toa inika nuparu rules, check out this blog entry; most of your questions are answered there, and if you can't find it there, look on the last couple of pages of this topic. Those questions have been answered several times these last couple of days. ;)

1Thanks for all the qustions you have answered, and thanks ahead for loking at these.
21. You have stated both that Zyglak want to kill any one who speeks Matoran, and that they were originally going to tell the Inika how Krana were made in BL7. 31a. Did they tell them in Matoran?
41b. If not, how did they tell them?
52. Could Krahka successfully change into an organic rahi?
63. How will/has Keetongu react to the Rahagah changing back to Hagah?
74.Will we ever know the names of the smaller rahi in the playsets? I know they wouldn't be new words in Bionicle, but like " black water hunter".
85. Was the giant shark in BL7 one of the first rahi, that strayed to the surface world?
96. The Toa Hagah had masked to honor past heroes. Any chance we'll find out about who these heroes were?
107.Will it/has it been revealed how Zantan knew the Toa Nuva were called Toa Nuva?
11Thanks for the time:

121) Since the book did not get written, it's irrelevant. The scene never happened. The major plot points did, which are included in the Encyclopedia. The krana scene was important in the sense that I wanted fans to know the info more than the Toa needed to, which is why I put it in the magazine earlier this year.
132) No.
143) Keetongu doesn't know about it yet, but I would assume he would be happy about it.
154) Probably not.
165) I don't think so, because I don't believe he is described in the book as being bio-mechanical
176) I doubt I will have room to go into that.
187) Makuta's telepathic abilities put the name in his mind

19I did have a few more questions, but they delt with 08 and were not in his blog, so i'll wait till 08 is closer before I ask.
#10075
1Greg doesn't come to this topic. PM him. 2pseudo answers: 31,2,3. future set. need more be said? 44. They are Makuta.

1Few more, mostly confirmation about things in the Books Topic (see sig for link):
GregF
21) Will we learn who is destined to wear the Ignika (not just hold it) in 2007? 31) I don't want to discuss future storyline
42) Does Matoro find out that he's destined to carry the Ignika (not necessarily wear it) in Legends #8? 52) Yes
63) Do we see any 2006 Matoran (speaking lines, direct references to specific characters) in Legends #8? 73) Don't recall
84) Do Pit War Tortoises appear in Legends #8? 94) No
105) Do any of the seven Metru Nui Turaga get mentioned by name and/or have speaking lines in Legends #8? 115) Yes, Nuju and Vakama
126) Does Icarax appear in Legends #9? 136) Yes

1Mr. Farshtey I am wondering: 21) How did MoMN contact Icarax to be given the Staff of Artakha? 31a) How will (or has) Icarax go to the Pit? I mean the pit's on the surface while Xia and Karzahni are both underground and the only way to reach the surface is mata Nui. Or will Icarax pass through the prison? maybe there is an underground entrance.

51) Telepathy 62) You can get out through Metru Nui, you can get out through the Pit, you can also get out through the 2008 location right now. And remember, Makuta are shapeshifters, so if need be, he could change his shape to get through even a small opening.

1Hi Greg.
21. I just caught something in Dreams of Destruction, Part 1. It starts off: "The Toa-Matoran named Sarda..." Is this a typo or does it have some significance? 32. I'm going through the books again, and I came across an interesting quote: 4Bionicle Chronicles #1, Tale of the Toa, pg. 50-51.
5Right after the first book meeting with Jaller(Jala then).

6It wasn't long before Tahu realized why the Matoran had been so worried. Everything about the dark, twisting tunnels of Onu-Wahi felt wrong. Even with the glow cast by his fire sword, the darkness seemed to huddle around him, suffocating in its closeness. 7Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to move on. Some dark part of his mind protested - No: We don't belong here, we shouldn't be here, we'll be crushed.... 8But Tahu shook his head fiercely, willing such thoughts away. 9The air grew cold and still. The flame on his sword sputtered and flickered, but the force of his will kept it burning. 10Almost there, he told himself grimly. I can feel it. These tunnels can't possibly go much deeper. 11And yet they did. Deeper, and deeper, and deeper, until Tahu started to wonder if he hadn't imagined that there was a surface world at all. Deeper - until he started seeing strange shapes moving in the shadows just beyond his glowing red light. And still deeper. 12Finally he stepped out of the end of a tunnel into an enormous cavern.

13This is right before Tahu battles the Kofo Jaga by swinging around the bridge. 14Did Tahu have a bad experience underground that makes him uneasy to go there alone? 153. Are the small 2008 villains mutated Matoran? 164. Are the 2008 Matoran Av-Matoran? 175. Is Universe Core named Karda Nui?

18Thank you for your time.

191) It's just a typo 202) PL, I didn't write that book -- it was written by Cathy Hapka. So I have no way of knowing what she had in mind in that scene. 213) They are Matoran, beyond that I am not saying anything yet 224) Yes 235) Can't answer it

24It sounds like she was going to make Tahu afraid of being underground:
