#6848
1Oh, alright, if we have confirmation, then. Thinking about it, I might remember the GBs creating the Red Star somewhere along the line... but Greg's been so tight-lipped in general about the Star, I'm surprised he gave that away. 2Also, I sent him a PM about the baterra, the EP war, and the Elemental Lords, but he hasn't responded yet. I'm thinking I've got a theory about those shapeshifters... 3-Cressona

6Then what's the point of the legs if it has to stay within a few inches off the ground? I mean, if you're thinking hovering, then probably not, cause that gun is really heavy, and why imply that it can even get off the ground? Is it because the lower legs spin?? That's the turret thingy :P

1Just a tidbit 'bout the Baterra. Sent him back, just waitin' fer a reply.

2Hello, Mr. Farshtey . I hope you had a happy Easter.
3I had one question concerning the Baterra. In the OGD, I came across this quote:
4Hey Greg. Got a bunch here.
51. Did the Baterra exist before the EP War? 6... 7Thank you for your time.

81) No 9...

10There was more but it was unrelated. Anyway, looking at your answer, the baterra did not exist until after or during the EP war.
11My first question is, if they did not exist until this point, with EP being such a substance, Were they once different beings, who were transformed by the energized protodermis? Were they different things effected by it, or just created by EP.
122, are they in any biological relation to any species we know of? Great beings? Elemental Lords? Glatorian? Maybe even Skrall?
13Have a good day .

14Ltt. Hothead

151) No, EP had nothing to do with their creation 162) Who said they are biological at all?

17Maybe Prototypes for something? As a response, probably a failed solution. 182= He didn't tell me a real answer, so I suspect that there is a relation to something we know of.

1Hi, Greg.
21. Hydraxon is tall, black and silver, and very skilled and knowledgeable with weapons. These are all characteristics of most Vortixx. So, is he a Vortixx?
32. Are all special force Skrall Stronius' class? 42a. Are all special force Skrall named? 52b. Are all of Stronius' class special force Skrall?
63. Why did Gali stay in MN if she left right afterwards?
74. If the summer serials aren't planned yet, and Crotesius is a summer set, then does he appear in the movie 8ovel/summer comic, or is he supposed to be in a serial?
9Thanks .

101) No. 112) Yes 122a) Most are, not all 132b) Um, this is the same as #2 143) Circumstances changed 154) Crotesius is already in a serial, DS, he's in Riddle of the Great Beings
#6853
1So, hold on, EP had nothing at all to do with the baterra's creation? Well, there goes my theory... :P2Still, though, if the baterra were created by the war, something must have done it. 3-Cressona

1Hey Greg.
21. This has been driving me crazy, so I figured I'd ask: are either Skrall, Tuma, or Stronius wearing helmets, or are those their faces? 31a. Same with Atakus and Fero. 42. Do Bone Hunters come in different colors, or are they all black? 53. From the description of a Baterra killing in EotS, it appears that they use a type of blade. Do the Baterra's weapons shapeshift with them? 63a. If so, is this a property of the weapons, or can they shapeshift other objects as well?
7Thank you for your time.

8:t: :m_o::c:

91) They're all wearing helmets 101a) Same answer 112) All black 123) Yes 133a) The weapon is part of their body

141. Huh. I thought those were their faces. 151a. That I figured. 162. Too bad. A red or green Bone Hunter would cool. 173. I figured as much.

1I got some interesting stuff here:
2Hey Greg. 5 questions I have here. I understand if you can't answer them, so if you can't, don't even bother puting "can't answer it", just skip to the next question.
31) Are the beings that live in the Red Star by any chance: 41a) Baterra? 51b) Element Lords? 61c) Great Beings? (Although I don't think so) 72) Will we learn more about the EP war at some point? (I'm not asking when or how, just if we will) 83) Does the creation of Mata Nui have anything to do with the EP war? 94) Are the Element Lords and Great Beings conected by some way (friends, foes, same species, etc.)? 105) In the movie there will be no mention about the Baterra and/or Element Lords, correct?
11Thank you .

121) No, no, and no 132) Yes, definitely, and almost certainly this year 143) Indirectly, yes 154) I can't answer this 165) Correct. Both of those things have to do with pre-Shattering story, and we don't get into that at all in the movie.

3:lol: I like it. 4And regarding the Red Star beings... I'm pretty sure at this point that they're a new species that we've never seen before. We've pretty much asked Greg about every sentient species being the inhabitants, and he's declined them all. Then there's that bit about them having been there forever, not having moved... 5Either way, I doubt it'll be something that we get into any time soon. 2010, 2011 maybe, but it from what I've deduced it doesn't seem important to the current story. 6-Cressona

1Hey GregF, I had a question. 2Do any Rahi have wheels or treads? I mean are they canon, for example, the Manas? Or are the wheels non-canon like the Pewku set? 3Thanks.

4If the set has something, then it has to be canon.

5The Pewku set featured non-canon wheels on the bottom which operated a complex gear function-- when Pewku was rolled across the floor, her legs would move.

6So you don't recall ever stating anything similar to this? 7Thanks.

8I never said that quote, no. I don't recall anyone ever asking me about the Pewku set, frankly.

1Hi Greg, 21) I was wondering, what is the exact function of Berix's pipe (or lack there of)? 32) Once a Glatorian is banished, does that mean they cannot ever work as a Glatorian again? Or would it just be frowned upon? 43) I was browsing BS01, and it said that the Baterra were peaceful before the Skrall invaded. Is this true? They seem too violent to me to be peaceful. 54a) Is Bara Magna a perfect sphere? 64b) This image from the teaser for the new movie has S&T buzzing. Is it canon? 7 Thanks .

81) Hasn't been revealed yet 92) No other village is likely to hire an exiled Glatorian, because they can't be trusted. A village known for employing people like that may find no one will accept their challenges and they'll end up ostracized from the social system. 103) That's wrong. Thanks for the tip, I went in and edited that person's entry. 114) No 124b) Far as I know

132) Thought as much 143) Yay . Greg gave me an extremely minor compliment . Yay . :happydance:

31)Roodaka has not drained herself of all moral light like the Makuta, right? 42)The Spherus Magna Makuta have not drained themselves of all moral shadow, have they? 52a)If not, do they tap into their "light side" to access Light powers?
6Thank you for your time.

1Hello Greg. I have some questions for you.
21. Did Tarix, Strakk, Ackar, or Vastus participate in the EP wars?
32. Will Vezon ever be back in our MU?
43. Can you describe Kirbold's personality for me?
54. Is there a specific reason behind the battera wanting to kill the Skrall? Or are they just all psychotic?
65. Who is the oldest Agori?
76. Where is the rest of Strakk's people? (the ones he had before the Shattering)
87.In EotS, Sand Stalkers are descried as a creature not good at fighting. Why are they even used then? In Bara Magna, you'd think that any steed had to be able to fend off an attacker.
9Thank you very much for taking the time time answer these.
101) All four did 112) Sure 123) I haven't done an extensive write-up on him, beyond what has appeared in the stories, since he is not a set character. 134) Yes, there is. Also, don't assume they only target Skrall. 145) No idea 156) Not sure what you mean? 167) Why use horses? They aren't fighters either, but they make great mounts.

11) Has Mata Nui (giant robot) ever fallen down before (besides the GC)? Say, like he tripped or something? Nothing as severe as the GC, but a simple fall? Thought about that when I tripped on a rug earlier today. =P 21) No
31a) I guess I should also ask; has he ever collided with any object before (besides the EOP)? 41a) Nothing serious, no.
52) Have the Vorox always had stinger tails, or was that a recent addition? 62) I think they have always had them

1Hi Greg . I have a few questions.
22) Is the Red Star a significant part of the story, or is it just simply there to add a little intrigue?

52) I can't answer this

6Well, we know that it could be a simple thing or a big thing: I wonder why that is such a big hint. 7*goes off to ponder the mysteries of the matoran universe*

11) Is the Red Star alive or sentient in any way? 22a) Is the Red Star working in favor of Mata Nui? 32b) If not, is it working against him? 43aI) Are the beings in the Red Star aware of what's going on in the MU? 53aII) If 1) is correct, is the Red Star? 63b) Are they aware of what's going on in Bara Magna?
7Thank you for your time . :)

81) No 93) No 103b) No

11I think I'm on to something... I just had to clear away a few issues. It's interesting about how he can't answer if the Red Star beings are in favor of Mata Nui or against him... I always assumed that they were working for him.
#6872
1Greg . First off I'd just like to say Thank you so much for not only inventing the world of Bionicle but also taking some of your spare time to answer the questions we have .I can't believe that I am able to communicate with you . It's an honor .
2I have 9 questions and here they are
31. From the way I've seen Bionicle work over the years, I have a feeling that Veson will eventually learn to control his Dimensional Gate powers, uh so I was wondering, will he?
41) I can't discuss future storyline plans 5Oh well.
62. When "Makuta Nui" destroyed the Island of Mata Nui, were the Bahrag and the Bohrok swarms destroyed with it? If they are alive will they appear in a future story serial?
72) No, they were not. First off, Makuta did not destroy the island -- all the island ever was was camouflage. If Mata Nui had been in his body and awakened, the exact same thing would have happened -- that's why no one was supposed to live there. And no, the Bohrok are not dead ... their nests were beneath the island, so inside the robot's head, so they are still sleeping. 8Ok
94. If a toa ripped the left arm off an Exo-toa, could he/she manually fire the missile launcher and use it like a projectile weapon? Or does the missile launcher stop working if it is disconnected from the Exo-toa?
104) It would stop working 11To bad
125. Why aren't the toa forming Toa Nuis or Toa Kaitas any more? Wouldn't the toa benefit from powers that Unity brings?
135) Because we are not doing those kind of combo models anymore, which is the reason we showed them in story to start with. And the Toa never formed a Toa Nui, the Toa Nui is a myth. 14That's what I thought.
156. Could an army of say 3000 toa use their elemental powers to change the Bara Magna dessert into a tropical rainforest again, if the army consisted of toa of Water, Plantlife, Ice, Fire, Earth, Air and light?
166) Irrelevant, since there aren't anywhere near 3000 Toa. There are about 50+. And I get way too many questions on here to answer to be able to answer hypotheticals.Oh  sorry  I guess the answere would be yes.
177. What would Teridax do if the matoran of Metru Nui went on strike and when given their lives in exchange for their work everyone of them chose death.
187) He'd kill them one by one, slowly and painfully, rather than all at once. A lot of groups say they are willing to die for their cause, but then when they actually have to see their friends suffer, can't stick to it.Hmm... If only Veson could transport them to Bara Magna instead.
198. How Powerful is the Spherus Magna Teridax in comparison to his evil counterpart (Non-Mata Nui Form)?
208) Same power level 21thought so
229. I've been wondering about this ever since I saw Gresh lose to the SkrallAre their any inhabitants from the MU that have enough Strength/powers to defeat most of or the entire Skrall army? 1Brutaka, 2Axon (wearing a Nuva mask combo of Strength and Fate), 3Tahtorak, 4Kraawa, 5a swarm of Lehvak?
239. a Could Toa Tuyet or any other toa (holding and using the Nui Stone) Defeat the entire Skrall army?
249) Well, keep in mind that Skrall have no elemental powers or mask powers. Toa do. So six Toa hitting them with water, ice, fire, etc. could do a lot of damage, since the Skrall have no means of counterattack other than swords and Thornax.Oops, what I meant was could they win in hand to hand combat, but thanks anyway.
2510) I don't think one Toa could do it easily, outside of Toa Ignika, because there are just too many Skrall. A Toa willing to unleash a nova blast probably could, if he was willing to kill loads of Agori too. But it doesn't matter, since there are no Toa on Bara Magna.
26QUOTESorry I forgot to list this question my first post
271.Why did you decide that MU inhabitants shouldn't feel love? 28Isn't love or the love of something, the force that unites people in the world? Thanks
29I never said they can't feel love. What I said was that they don't feel romantic love. They can love their friends, love freedom, love their homeland, etc., they just don't get into male-female romances. 30And I have gone into the reasons for that at length a number of times on here.
31"I'm new here so I haven't had the pleasure of knowing that, And I don't think Toa Matau knew that either judging from his behavior towards Nokoma in a number of the "Bionicle Adventures" Books, that were supposedly Cannon"

13Thanks for your time .
141) Haven't made a list, but I would say most if not all 152) All of them 163) Bone hunters generally don't use vehicles, because vehicles make noise. Plus it gets cold at night in a desert and Vulcanus never has to worry about that. 218) No. It's extremely unlikely they could get away with it, and if they tried, they would be banished. What you are suggesting is like saying a minor league baseball player would try to kill the major league player in his position so he could get promoted -- that doesn't happen. 229) Yes

231)Cool 242)Also Cool 253)Makes sense. 264)In Sands of Bara Magna Ranuu mentions that Skrall were claiming the Flame Geysers north of Vulcanus. 275)Just double-checking 286)Crazy Surel 297)Now I see. 308)A couple of these Glatorian seem ruthless enough to try it. 319)I assumed as much, but needed to verify.

44a. Gali encountered a giant squid in a cavern beneath Naho Bay while searching for her Kanohi Nuva. Was this the same kind of giant squid Kalmah had in his army in The Pit? (Kalmah's giant squids were creatures, not Rahi, but since this cavern was connected to the Endless Ocean Planet it could have entered from there)
54b. If not, the cavern was actually part of the tunnels the Toa Metru had used to get to Mata Nui for the first time. Could the giant squid have been one of Mavrah's ancient Rahi?
6Thanks in advance. :)
