1Hi Greg, I have a few questions about Hordika mutations -
21. Does the venom work on most MU inhabitants, like could there be Skakdi Hordika, Matoran Hordika, Vortixx Hordika, etc?
32. The Rahaga seemed to tell the mutated Toa Metru they had made peace with their Hordika sides, is that really possible or is it inevitable that those not cured will become wild beasts?
43. If they could have kept their Toa minds, why did the Metru want to be turned back? Is it impossible to transfer Toa power as a Hordika, or did they just not want to lead the Matoran as mutants? (Besides the fact they weren't Turaga Hordika in 2001.)

51) Yes 62) Good question. If you look at Norik and Iruini, the Visorak had nothing to do with what happened to them -- they were mutated by Roodaka. So it may have been a different process than what happened to the Metru. 73) But they obviously couldn't. Vakama had already betrayed the team out of bestial rage, various other Toa had acted out of character, and the team as a whole felt like monsters. Why would they want to remain that way?

8He misunderstood question 2, I'm waiting for another reply. On another note, I would not want to meet a Skakdi Hordika.

1Hello Mr.Farshtey 21. In The Legend Reborn movie Tarix and Strakk have british/scotish accents, is this canon? If so could it meen that they are from differnt regions on Spherus Magna? 32. Who is probably older, Raanu or Ackar? 43. What is the purpose of New Atero? 54. Is it possible that Karzahni survived or is he officially dead? 65. If a Toa of Plasma, Toa of Gravity etc. turned into Toa Hordika would their Rhotuka be Gravity Rhotuk etc.? 76. Is It possible that their are Av-Matoran on Voya Nui? 87. Could you confirm that their is at least one Toa of Stone on the Toa Mangai? 9Thank You for your time,
101) No, it simply means they hired British actors for the movie. 112) Raanu 123) What is the purpose of any city? 134) I consider him to be dead. 145) Yes 156) No 167) I can't see why there wouldn't have been one.

17See he didn't say "Yes" :D
18Karzahni may just be alive but on the line of death.

9If you're intending on sending follow-up questions to any replies from Greg, then please wait until you've asked everything before posting. Then just put it all in one post. Seeing the exact same questions over and over not only wastes space, but can be a bit annoying.

12Also, I think it's a good question as well. I'm wondering on the answer now.

1Hi Mr. Farshtey, I've got a few questions for you:
  1. 2Why Takanuva swap out his Power Lance, which was more powerful than the average Toa tool?
  2. 3Is Tahu still wearing the Golden Armor? If not, did he keep any individual components?
  3. 4Except for the Twin Light Staffs, is Takanuva in his 2003 form?
  4. 5Would the Toa Nuva's adaptive launchers turn into Cordak Blasters if they went underwater?
  5. 6What would a Life nova blast do?
7Thank you for your time.

81) Because the set designers gave him a different weapon, so the story had to adjust to fit that 92) Yes, he is 103) Yes 114) Possibly 125) Irrelevant, since there is no Toa of Life to do one. But the it could cause everything within a certain radius to come to animate life -- rocks, trees, etc. -- or it could age everyone witrhin a certain radius, as it did with the creature in Karda Nui -- or it could simply extinguish life in that same radius.

13Hmmm. So Takanuva didn't swap out his Power Lance for any unknown tactical reason. And Toa Ignika could have been extremely destructive, had he chosen to perform a nova blast.

1I just thought of a couple of interesting questions about the Zyglak, now that they have (apparently) evacuated the Matoran Universe.
2How would they get along with the natives of Spherus Magna, seeing as they're not creatures of Mata Nui?
3Also, how would they react if they saw a Great Being?

41) Assuming the Zyglak leave the MU, they probably would not get along with the SM natives because the SM natives are hanging around with Toa and Matoran 52) They might well not recognize a GB if they saw one.

14Well, Kopaka, let's try to think about it as far as the storyline goes. There were about to go onto Bara Magna, of course he probably wasn't aware of the Skrall, but more and likely all of the Rahkshi. Maybe he replaced his with two, for he would be more efficient with two of them? I mean, I imagine that one staff was powerful, but with two he probably would have been able to attack more repeatably. Thus increasing his chances of survival.

15He did have a Midak Skyblaster as well, which he could use at the same time as his Power Lance. The Power Lance could probably be used to destroy large groups of Rahkshi at a time, given its power. Think laser cannon vs. dual machine guns.
16Though the Twin Light Staffs allow him to focus on two things at once, both staffs had to be powered by his own energy. The Midak Skyblaster could instead draw from the virtually limitless supply of sunlight, and the Power Lance can probably fire a wide beam of light that penetrates multiple Rahkshi. If I had to come up with an explanation though, I'd say the bad guys got the jump on Takanuva one of those days and destroyed his Power Lance. Since the Midak Skyblaster isn't a Toa tool, Takanuva ditched it for the staffs :P

1An answer that some other member got from Greg got me thinking about this...
2Hey, Mr. Farshtey . I just have one question for you today. (Sorry if you got this twice)
3Now, Karzahni rebuilt the Matoran who were on Voya Nui/Mahri Nui. These Matoran were left weak and helpless, so Karzahni gave them weapons. Then, the Matoran who were in Mahri Nui were reverted back to their original forms by the temporary contact with the Mutagen. 4Now, Mata Nui (when he fixed Spherus Magna) reverted all beings exposed tothe Mutagen back to their original forms. So, my question is: Did the Matoran who were in Mahri Nui get changed back to their forms from after Karzahni rebuilt them? Or did they stay the same? And did they become amphibious?
5Thanks in advance .

6Given that Mata Nui had the ability to be selective, I do not think he reverted the MN Matoran back to their Karzahni forms. And I don't think there was a need to make them amphibious, as they had already been rescued from MN and so did not need to be able to breathe water.

1Gosh, it's been forever since I've been here. Anyway, just for posterity:
2I was thinking about heartlights recently, and have some questions:
31. BIONICLE Adventures #1 confirms that Toa have heartlights, and that it isn't a movie-only design choice. Do all stages of Matoran (Matoran, Toa, and Turaga) have heartlights?
42. What about Makuta? In the BIONICLE movies, Makuta Teridax has no visible heartlight. Dorek was curious if this was a consequence of their evolution into purely gas/energy.
53. Do Rahi have heartlights? In the BIONICLE movies heartlights aren't visible for Rahi.
64. Other than Matoran and Makuta, do all Matoran Universe sapient species we know of have heartlights? We know Vortixx do, because of WoS, and Sidorak also has a heartlight although it isn't pertinent to the plot. So it seems likely, but there's no confirmation.
7I'm mostly asking these questions because I realized that although BS01 mentions heartlights several times, there's no page that tells exactly what they are. Knowing which species have them is critical to knowing where this info should go.

8I have very little info on this, since the heartlight is not something I created. BA #1 mentions them because the books live in the movie universe, but I don't think we ever dealt with them in comics, etc.

9I'm always afraid I'm being rude by asking Greg so many questions about trivial things like heartlights which have no bearing on the story. But the wiki THRIVES on such nonsense . =P

1I s'pose someone might find this interesting:
2Hey, me again. :P
3I've been thinking about Nikila's Kanohi mask and how it might possibly tie in with the concept of alternate dimensions. I looked at the mask's page on BS01 and I couldn't help thinking the information on it was rather scarce. So I thought that maybe its power could be explained a bit more thoroughly.
4Apparently, the Kanohi can alter the probability of a situation, either by increasing its chances of occuring, or lessening them. Now I'm assuming it wouldn't work with major "situations" like making Makuta's plan less likely to succeed, but it could alter some minor situations that would be useful in battle, or on a mission. This got me thinking, however, that no matter how you put it, it seems that altering the probability of an event is not just increasing or decreasing its chances of happening, but also altering the chances of something else having happened, something in the past that would've led to your desired outcome in a situation, and that you're not necessarily aware of. So basically, in changing the likelihood of a certain situation, this mask would inevitably have to interfere with an action or decision made by someone in the past, practically overwriting it.
5So does that mean that the Mask of Possibilities can pretty much alter the past, even in a minute way? Well, not really, if you consider my explanation. Now, as you said, the number of alternate realities in BIONICLE is infinite, as every single decision ever made by any being would result in the separation of one initial dimension into at least two more. So we could assume that there is a good few alternate dimensions that are incredibly similar to the prime reality, but differ in some minor way. So what Nikila's mask would do is not overwrite an event in the past in order to bring about a desired event in the present, but rather simply relocate the position of the prime reality into one of the adjacent realities, where that event is more or less likely to happen. The new reality would have to be different in a very specific way, and the mask would automatically establish the best option, unbeknownst to its bearer, who would only see the outcome.
6I was thinking of PMing the BSS with this, but I decided to let you read it directly. I'd love to hear what you think. :)

7No, it can't. The mask's power was based off the Scarlet Witch's hex power, circa 1960s-1980s. So, for example, someone fires a gun at you, it alters the probability of the bullet missing you and hitting the villain's control panel from 1000-1 to 1-1. It does not affect the past events leading up the bullet being fired.

8If you alter the probability of the bullet hitting you after it's fired, then how are you not affecting the past? I thought probability was determined by causality, unless we're talking about dodging or bending bullets.

9You're ovethinking this and basically risking opening a huge can of worms it is not worth opening.

1I just read through the list of Matoran words on BS01, and was a bit surprised to find that we don't have a word for "small." Knowing that "Nui" is "great," I checked for possible antonyms, and remembered about Kofo-Jaga. I had always assumed that "Nui-Jaga" was "Great Scorpion," while "Kofo-Jaga" was "small scorpion."
2What do you think of "Kofo" as a prefix/suffix for "small?"

3I am okay with that.

1Hi Greg,
2I've got some questions: 31- It wasn't stated directly, but is the reason why Ba-Matoran are very rare because Gravity is a powerfull element?
42- Could it be that the moon that was once in orbit around Aqua Magna, is now in orbit around Spherus Magna?
53- Did the Northern Frost also had a name that ends with Magna?cand was that name als a Latin word? 63b- Some suggestions: Glacies Magna (ice), Frigus Magna (cold) or maybe Gelu Magna (frost) :P?
74- Some time ago you confirmed these maks, but it seems that every time someone mentions any of these masks that you don't know what they're talking about. so I ask for confirmations. Are any of these masks canon? 8http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Kanohi/Other_Kanohi

8Oh my... This whole conversation is getting a little scary. Who knows who will die next.

1Greg set something big up for the Shadowed One at the end of Reign of Shadows. I think he'll be around for a while yet.

1Hello Greg.
21) Sorry if I annoyed you with "future questions", sorry. 32) The Piraka are in some way... dead, no? 43) The Golden-Fusion has his own personality, or is a recopilatory of the personalities of the beings that he was created? 54) Did you know how taller are the Hero Factory and the Villains?

62) Living on in a different form. We do not know that it is impossible to undo what was done, which would mean they would be alive again 73) Own prsonality 84) No. I am not that involved with HF

92 sounds very interesting =D .

2You don't understand. Unless you send Greg a message (his username is GregF) with your questions, they will not be answered. No matter how many times you post your questions here, they won't be answered.
