1 Hi greg. I have a few questions.21. What do you think would be the names of some Makuta Viruses?32. IF bionicle were to return, would it be possible, for Tuma, or Tuyet, to somehow steal the mask of life, and recreate themself(themselves) as Makuta, then bring back the Makuta?43. If it were up to you, would you bring back BIONICLE?

1greg you see ninjago 2015 sets?

1greg you write book 12 in ninjago

1Some questions regarding Bionicle:

21. Was Tren Krom based on Glatorian/agori DNA?

32. Could Mata Nui return if he wanted to?

43. What are the Turaga's roles in the new Agori/Matoran civilization?

54. Why are beings of shadow inadvertantly evil?

65. Has Malum ever beaten a Skrall in the arena?

76. Is Marendar sentient?

8And finally,

97. Is it possible for one to use whatever technology still works in the GSR to "remake" the island of Mata Nui?

10Not too many this time, but nonetheless answers would satisfy my curiousity Angel

2I have not been asked to do a book 12 yet. I don't know if there will be books in 2015 or not.

2Of course.

51) No idea. I no longer have any approved BIONICLE names I can use, so I can't assign names to anything.

62) You are assuming that if it came back, it would pick up where it left off. Don't assume that, because it might not be the best way for LEGO to go if they wanted to bring it back. It would force new kids to catch up on nine years of story to figure out what is going on.

73) Yes, if I felt it would sell.

1I just read through all the Bionicle Adventures and noticed something that I found interesting. The best example is early in Web of Shadows, where Rahi are running loose on Metru Nui, and Onewa asks Whenua what the Onu-Matoran had in the (recently destroyed) Archives, to which Whenua replies "Everything." Now, in the book, you wrote that Onewa already knew that, and only asked because of the habit among Po-Matoran to pretend that the Archives don't exist.  ... My question is this: Is this scene the result of you "working around" a story error in the movie script, or was it always planned for Onewa to ask a question that he already knew the answer to? Or let me put the question this way: Were the movies written with the novelizations in mind? Did the screenwriters know that Onewa already knew about the Archives, in which case they relied on you to clarify his motivation behind asking the question, or did they simply make an error, in which case you added that motivation yourself because you felt it was the only to have it make sense? And in that case, did you have to do this often when writing the novelizations?
2Sorry about this being such a mess!

3No, you don't write a movie with a novelization in mind. Your job is just to write a screenplay, which then gets revised and revised and revised. As for what the screenwriters had in mind, I can't answer that, I had no contact with them. I worked from a script to write the novelizations of the films, and sometimes the scripts changed between when I handed the book in and when the movie came out. And, yes, sometimes you had to use the books to expand on motivations and such, as I did a lot in Web of Shadows.

1Hello, Greg. I have a question...

2If a makuta were hit with the staff of fusion, would it be possible that the said makuta could be stripped of all the makuta powers, and that said powers are made into an entirely seperate being as a result?

1Happy Birthday!

1 I just got through listening to your interview with TTV (for the second timeJoking) and these questions popped into my head.21. If the HF books were to come back, would you continue from where the last one left off or just wrap it up?32. What was your favorite Bionicle location to write about?43. If you could write a crossover story for anything, what would it be?

1greg tell something about sets ninjago 2015

51) If they came back, they would need to reflect current story/sets

62) Usually the alternate dimensions

73) No idea offhand
