10Not too many this time, but nonetheless answers would satisfy my curiousity
111) I don't think so, no
122) Yes
133) Guidance and probably ambassadors to the Agori
144) Traditionally, darkness and shadow are associated with bad things in mythology, and so they are as well in BIONICLE mythology
155) No
166) Yes
177) No. The GSR has been disassembled, and the head of the robot (which is the basis for the island) was badly damaged already.
1Hello Greg!
2The Voya Nui Matoran (Balta, Garan, Dalu etc.) happen to wear exactly the same Kanohi as the Toa Metru. Balta is wearing a Huna, Dalu a Rau etc. In their set versions, these are the Great versions of the masks, in other words, versions that would usually be worn by Toa. The fact that they're Matoran and not Toa made us assume that in the story, these were actually just the powerless versions of the very same masks, and also, that it's just a strange coincidence. (Obviously, that was irl just a decision of the set designers, to save effort)
3However, another explanation now would be:
4What if the Voya Nui Matoran were indeed wearing the Kanohi of the Toa Metru? What if many millennia ago, six Toa Metru from an Alternate Dimension (the AD would have had a faster timestream) were stranded in Karzahni, and imprisoned by the maddened ruler, after losing a battle against him or his Manas? He obviously took their masks away, so as to ensure they're no threat to him. Then he locked them up and trapped them in nightmarish visions.
5Later on, a group of Matoran arrived at Karzahni's realm. He then recalled he still had those Toa masks lying around.
6Let's assume this happened:
7He picked a Matoran for each imprisoned Toa Metru (he also chose the corresponding elements), and took their masks away, giving them the Alternate Toa Metru's masks in return. The way he had deprived those six Matoran of their "faces" amused him, and fitted his twisted sense of humor. It also was a good way of covering his failures with the repairing. This would also explain how Karzahni came to the idea of exchanging masks, as this became a tradition in his realm, later on. Shortly after, he decided to keep his visitors in his realm, with Balta etc. being among the last ones to be sent to the Southern Continent.
8It is likely that the Alternate Toa Metru, still trapped in visions, didn't survive Gali's Nova Blast much later. She probably put them out of their misery.
9Does this theory make sense?

7It's an elaborate theory, but not something I could make official.

2Really not something I have thought about.
3could you confirm/deny that matoran of plasma have heat resistence? considering that most have a certain resistence to their element, it would make sense that they do have it, yes?
4i think this got lost

5Okay

2The assumption we always made was that they were Matoran masks, but I have seen theories on here that they were not. All I can tell you is the story bible for that year never stated they were anything other than Matoran masks.
