Very nice story line. If it would be turned into a movie, it would be pretty freaking awesome. and Bio-Dinos would be great. Oooooo. Biomechanical Spinosaur. Oh man that would be sweet.
To a certain extent, I had gotten over the end of Bionicle sets. But now, this just re-ignites that rage. After reading the Bionicle #5 Treatment, I came to a conclusion. We were robbed. We were robbed of what could have been an awesome movie. And the potential for awesome canisters sets.
That said, I have an idea. Maybe some form of this story can somehow be worked into a serial, maybe an alternate universe? Because it would be a crying shame to see such an awesome story go to waste.
It really steams my potatoes that they ended Bionicle with all this potential still in it. They should have axed the line in 2008, said Mata Nui won, and not teased us with the new interplanetary story.

I like it. Too bad it was cancelled, it would have been amazing to see some of the maze and new glatorians. It would have been also cool to see the elemental lords and bio-mechanical dinousaurs.
THe dinosaur thing isn't too confusing. In MU, they had shape-shifters, dragons, Tarakava (dinosaur like things) and many other odd creatures, so what is so crazy about dinosaurs? It is just a description of the creature, not what it is.

It would have been a waste if Mata Nui won, because then all of Teridax's planning and such would have just been hot air. Better to leave a story hanging than to utterly ruin the one character who's stayed at the forefront for most of it.
Meanwhile, in 2008 there wasn't a reason to let the line end. Now, whatever that reason is, one has come into existence. And I'm happy with where the story has come, and enthusiastic about where it will continue to go. Hopefully some day we'll have more sets to flesh out the line, but otherwise I'm happy to see the story work towards a more satisfying, conclusory death.
My hope is that I will do a good enough job on the serials that you guys will find new things to MOC. And yes, we are going to Bota Magna in summer 2010. Maybe some other places too ...
