6Mo - I have a copy of the paperback edition of Stone Cold and I don't see anything that looks like that. It couldn't be a promo for 2014, because at the time that this book was printed, Papercutz did not yet know Ninjago was coming back in 2014. Do you have the hardcover edition? If you have the paperback, can you tell me what page this is on?
1Ah, makes sense. Would've been fun to see what the conspiracy would have ended like. Anyway, a question for the HS01 wiki. Not sure if you can answer it, but is there any reason why Von Nebula and Core Hunter don't have a visible Hero Core, even if they were developed as Heroes? And how did Von Nebula change so drastically physically? Did he upgrade himself with parts of other robots or what?

8No idea. As you say, he was before my time and I really had zip to do with his character for the most part, until he became Takanuva.

5Yes, as I mentioned, I have the paperback version and I do not see anything that matches that description. So unless it is something in the hardcover version or somebody can give me a page number, I can't help.

2I think upgrades (ala Ultron) is the best answer to both your questions. The HC is a vulnerability - certainly CH knows that -- so it makes sense that both would endeavor to remove or heavily shield them.
