4Yes, I hear you. But I think the idea is that certain basic kinds of tech are going to exist in any civilization, plus they want concepts that readers can relate to. For example, in Chima, there would be animals whose job was to gather the CHI from the water, which is not a human thing but it's not that much different from collecting any other resource.

2There aren't any plans that I know of to bring it back. That said, I probably WOULDN'T know at this point if there were plans, because it would be something being decided in Billund and I wouldn't be brought into the loop until later on.

2No, it's not the only thing -- we know there are other worlds. But Mahri Nui got destroyed in 2007, and Voya Nui and Karda Nui were both part of the robot, and the robot has been trashed.
