1Although another question of mine is pending, I came up with a few more things to ask. I have always been extremely intrigued by the Bionicle storyline, and it has caused me to think up some possible explanations for certain things left undeveloped. I'd like to run a few of these ideas by you, along with a few questions, if that's okay.

21. What if the Fe-Matoran and other such later-added tribes lived in a city similar to Metru Nui, except it was in the back of Mata Nui's head? The Great Spirit Robot was built for space travel, and in space, no particular direction is up, thus it wouldn't matter that it would be upside down from the point of view of a Metru Nui observer. Also, if this were so, what if we hear so little from them in the story because they got the worst of the impact with the surface of Aqua Magna?

32. Could the Red Star be considered sort of a "back-up drive," a place to save the mental data of Matoran and others who have passed on? What if those who reside there, seeming repaired, are just simulations of former bodies, driven by the catalogued and shelved souls of the dead? (of course, it'd have to have some sort of repair facilities, so some of the Red Star Matoran at least might be real... but I digress.)

43. Why did they cancel Bionicle? Why? I still can't quite bring myself to accept it. What is your opinion on this?

54. For how long will you be answering posts here? I will most likely have more questions in a while, and don't want to be disappointed by your sudden absence, when eventually you decide to stop.

6By the way, if anything I have written might contribute in any way to the continuation of the Bionicle universe, I hereby allow you to use it.

7Finally (for now), thank you for this chatting opportunity. It has long been my dream to share my thoughts with you.

91) I think there are problems with this. It would make them basically the "back brain," and then you have to explain why Makuta was not targeting them too, among other things.

102) New bodies are made there for those who have passed on. They aren't just sims, because they are supposed to be returned to the MU functional.

113) Best explanation I have heard is declining sales. Because of the number of new pieces you needed each year, it was not an inexpensive line to produce, and sales had been gradually declining since a high in 2002. That left the company with a choice: end it while it was still somewhat successful, leaving the door open in case they wanted to bring it back someday, or wait until it died and no retailer ever wanted to see it again.

124) I have no plans to leave at this point.

1Mr. Farshtey;

2I would like to inquire on the MU. Did the Great Beings put any form of camera system in the GSR? If so, would it be feasible for a being with skills under that of the GB's to hack into this system?

3I am not going to rule it out, but what purpose do you see the camera system serving? Also, the GSR no longer exists, so any hacking that was going to be done would have to have happened prior to the events of 2010 story.

1I don't think that they followed only certain combinations, but each tribe focused more on certain aspects of the Virtues. These principles supposedly granted them certain skills when playing Kolhii, such as strength or speed.

2An example: the Ko-Matoran principle was peace, gained by focusing primarily on Destiny, and it granted willpower to Ko-Matoran Kolhii players.

3Each principle also had a natural "enemy," such as Fear or Poison. The six evil counterparts to the principles were also the powers of the six Rahkshi that Teridax sent out after the Mask of Light.

4If it would help you to further understand the principles, you could visit the Bionicle wiki's page about the three virtues. (I tried to put a link here, but I, too, am new to the LEGO website's forums, and I don't think it wants me to.) If you scroll down almost to the bottom of the page, there is a section explaining the principles, and a list of all principles and corresponding information.

5I hope this makes my question clearer, that question being, what might the principles of the other nine tribes have been? Please write back again, I am honored to be in your presence.

6Again, huge fan of your work

7This is really not something I can answer. If the info on BIONICLE Wiki is accurate, that would most likely have been something from the online games, and I had nothing to do with those. I focused generally on the Toa, not much on the Matoran.

1 Ahh what are you working on now?

2Well, I just finished Ninjago Graphic novel #11, and I have a Mixels short story to do this weekend. At work, I am finishing off the May-June issue of LEGO Club Magazine and doing some work for the LEGO Super Heroes website.

4I think Makuta would not target this theoretical other island because they would have another makuta of their own there. The Makuta of Metru Nui, as he has sometimes been known, was just that: a makuta meant specifically to be responsible for the safety and well-being of the Matoran of Metru Nui. Other islands, too, had specific Makuta in charge, and the same would be the case with the other island.

5I do not understand what's wrong with being the "back brain." Would you please explain this a little further, as well as anything else you have to say about this idea?

1 WHO IS GREG FARSHY
1 ???

1I have two questions. The Shadowed One is still alive, Right?

2So maybe if you guys decide to bring it back, is he gonna be the next story arc?

6He was the "Makuta of Metru Nui" because that was all that was in that region. If you consider a Fe-Matoran city to be back brain, you are not going to spit the brain between two Makuta. And in general you wind up with too many things to retrofit: a) if there had been another Makuta for that area, who was he and why was he never mentioned? b) even if you say that city was damaged by hitting Aqua Magna, why was it never mentioned at all in 2004-2005 story, prior to the collision with the ocean? It would have been a sister city, close enough to Metru Nui to know and possibly be affected by what was going on there, yet it never gets brought up at all?

7It's a lot easier, and more logical for story, to say the Fe-Matoran simply lived  in some other part of the robot that we did not visit in story, rather than putting it right next to the main location.

3Impossible to know at this point if BIONICLE is coming back. Yes, he is alive, but to be honest -- if I were in charge of a return of BIONICLE, I would minimize the number of old characters involved in the story. Think about how old the average 10 year old (who will buy most of the sets) was when the line ended in 2010. He probably knows zip about the old story, and if he has to learn  it before he can enjoy the new story, he probably won't bother. So while you might want to bring back some of the really iconic characters, I'm not sure it would be a good idea to basically pick up where we left off ...

22.Is it possible that Golden Armor is stronger than protosteel armor ?

33. How big is the Red star compared to GSR ? I would think it has to be at least as big as Metru Nui to house so much inhabitants...

4PS: Have you decided on the answer to my previous question yet ? Happy

51) I don't think that could happen. I think the mask and body were probably one

62) Not that I am aware of.

73) Well, it also served as a rocket pack on his back when he was traveling, so it had to be at least big enough to provide enough thrust for that

84) I don't remember your previous question

9My previous question and your previous answer were:

101. Can the legendary masks be infected ?

111) Good question. Let me think about  it.

1Greg Farshtey, who are you? I nevr heard of you, please tell me.
