1Hi Greg! I have sevaral questions.

21. Have you been thinking of rebooting Bionicle?

32. What gave you the idea for Ninjago?

43. Why did you retire Bionicle?

54. What made you want to work with LEGO?

6Thanks for your time.

71) Doesn't really matter if I am or not, since I won't be the one making the decision on whether it ever comes back.

82) I didn't create Ninjago

93) BIONICLE was, most likely, shut down because of declining set sales.

104) I was looking for a job in CT because my then girlfriend had gotten a  job here, and LEGO had something open at the time.

1So... by that logic would Tahu's sword also be his "hand" in the set? If not, then why are Gali's hooks considered as so? I read some of the stuff that the guy brought up on BS01 about this and was wondering about some of them... like for example in the earlier books, they were referred to as her "hooked arms."

21) First off, which "earlier books" are you referring to? The ones I wrote, or the ones written before me?

32) I don't think Tahu's sword was ever regarded to be his hand from a set standpoint.

2Can things pass outward from a sheild created by a Hau? Like, if Tahu had activated his Hau, and then shot a ball of fire from his sword, would it be able to pass through the shield? Or is it solid even on the inside?

3If I recall correctly, we treated the Hau's shield like the Invisible Woman's force field -- nothing gets in and nothing gets out.

4Ah, ok.Wink And does it move about with the wearer if they move while activating it?

5I believe so, yes.

6Couldn't the wearer (let's say it's Tahu) create a fireball that forms outside the shield?

71) We chose not to do that because it unbalances the story. If Tahu can stay behind a force field and pick off his enemies while being perfectly safe himself, what does he need the other Toa for?

1I know this probably been asked many times here now, but I'm too lazy to go through 200+ pages of posts. But anyways, are you planning to bring back Bionicle anytime soon, Mr. Farshtey?

2I am not aware of any plans to bring it back. That doesn't mean there definitely aren't any, simply that I may not  have been informed about them since that would all be taking place in Denmark.

2That was almost eight months ago, so I don't remember.

1But there would be a paralell dimension where people decide to not regard it as a theory, decide to pour all that resources into paralell dimesnion resource, making the right descisions along the way. And in at the very least one world, they would decide to travel to ours.

2And they may have ... how would we know? But "travel" is not the same as "invade."

3In one universe, they would decide to invade.

4Why? Think about it -- we can't get everyone in the US to agree on anything, so how would an entire reality agree on the need to invade a reality that has done nothing to them? And if they are that militaristic, isn't it also possible they would be too busy fighting among themselves to attack another reality?

5But if descisions were what determined it, then in at least one universe 100% of the people would have agreed to invade it. In at least a million others, 99.99% of the people would have agreed to it. Also, in at least one universe (Theoretically infinite in number) it would be decided by a dictatorship. The reality of how human psychology works would be overriden by people making unnatural descisions en mass in at least one universe, most likely a trillion.

41.) Such as "Tale of the Toa" and "Beware the Bohrok", so yes, the ones written before you. Also, in the comics before they transformed into Nuva, it always seemed as if they were her hands: she never let go of them or set them down like the others did with their tools, and she always used them to grab stuff, and they even flexed like a hand would.

52.) So why was Gali's? Why was there a difference in the set interpretation and the story one?

6Thank you so much for your time!

1I read somewhere (BS01 probably) that the Agori/Glatorian have metallic skeletons, and in the last movie, "The Legend Reborn," it seemed like they have mechanical bodies. Is their metallic skeleton an exoskeleton, or are their bones on the inside (endoskeleton) like ours? (If they're on the inside, what made them look mechanical?) Also, since the Great Beings designed the Matoran/Toa after them, would their mechanical parts be in place of the skeletal structures of the Agori/Glatorian?

2Often a Toa's armor has been referred to... is that just their mechanical anatomy, or is it additional armor they wear?

3How do Kanohi attach to their wearer? In the movies, they were depicted as moving with the wearer's face to provide emotion; is that really how it works, or do they just not depend on facial expressions to convey emotion as we do?

4Do people in the bionicle universe eat food?

5Does the Mask of Life still have its own consciousness or has that been replaced by Mata Nui's mind?

6Thank you so much!

1Did Tahu absorb all of the Kraata powers that the Makuta had, or just heat vision?

1Alrighty, understood, and thank you for the reply!

2A few more questions, if I may. Mainly regarding Velika and his time in the MU.

31: You've been saying that you believe the reason Velika is doing all that he is is because he feels Spherus Magna needs a stronger guiding hand. With this is mind, why didn't he act during his time in the MU? Be it to control the MU, or help it succeed in its intended goal.

42: When Velika transferred himself into a Matoran body, what went with his consciousness? Like, say, did any "GB powers" (assuming those exist) follow?

5That is all I can currently think of at the moment! Once again, thank you much!

71) I don't recall us ever stating they had metallic skeletons. They sometimes have mechanical enhancements, but they are by mature organic beings. They are not bio-mechanical like Toa are.

82) It's additional armor

93) They attach magnetically

104) The facial expressions thing largely exists in the movies and the books, but not in the comics. In the comics, feelings are conveyed largely by tone of voice and body language.

115) Yes

126) Mata Nui's mind has been superimposed on it
