2I am planning to stick with it for as long as I can. It's something I enjoy getting to do. Since BIONICLE ended, I don't really do much in the way of school/library appearances anymore, so this is a chance to hear what the audience is wondering about.
3That's great! I hope it's for a while! I am happy you enjoy it! I would have died if you had been to my school. Has anybody at one of your school/library appearences ever been stunned to see you(a huge Bio fan)?
4I don't think so, cause they knew I was coming ahead of time.

2Jay, Kopaka, and I did like the LOTR movies, but never read the books. I am not that into "sword and sorcery" kind of fantasy.

I'm pretty sure that your not in charge of the whole Bionicle system, you just write the comics, right? I do want to know how long it takes to write a script for Bionicle. Also, just a thing I had to mention, was that the storyline behind the Phantoka theme was a little bit better than Glatorian, though i do have all the Stars and Glatorian Legends. One more question, how do you get your ideas? Do you watch a movie? Maybe just sleep on it? I don't know...Bye. HUGE FAN.
2I had nothing to do with set design, Caelum, but I was on the story team and also wrote the novel series. As far as comic scripts go, it usually took me a couple days to do one. And I don't think there is one way a writer gets his or her ideas, it happens in lots of ways.

In fact I am sitting next to someone who owns 100+ bionicle and was devastated to learn the the theme was discontinued and replaced. Did you stop it for story reasons or for market reasons?
2I can't give you an official answer, but my guess is that LEGO wanted to try another direction after nine years, plus sales were starting to slip and you don't wait to wait until something is really not selling to stop it. You want to go out while it is still somewhat successful.

2I JUST CORRECTED GREG FARSHTEY!!!
3I make stopmotion videos as a hobby, and I like to try writing stories on the side, but I usually get bored with the story, or it seems to be taking too long to explain and describe everything (in other words, I'm bored and I'm afraid my readers will be the same). Do you have any tips?
4Yes. Start your story in the middle of the action -- start in the middle of a fight scene or something like that -- and then explain what you have to explain using dialogue as you go along. That way you hook your reader right away.

21. Are you ever going to finish the story serials, or since BIONICLEstory.com is no longer existent, are you going to leave us hanging?
32. In Ninjago, how does Traveler's Tea work? Is it sort of like the Kanohi Olmak?
43. How come you allowed time travel in Ninjago and not in BIONICLE?
54. Is the Overlord really defeated? Or is he still somewhere out there?
6Thanks for writing these great stories!
71) At this point, I don't have time to work on them and there is no place to post them anymore.
82) Not something I am familiar with
93) I didn't -- I have nothing to do with main story in Ninjago, I just write the graphic novels. Time travel has not appeared in the graphic novels.
104) Can't answer this
11Oh. Thank you for answering. I have another question: how come Velika wants to destroy so many powerful beings?
eagleeyedan2 wrote:1Did you come up with the Bionicle story line just for LEGO or did you have ideas about it before you worked for them? It is just so well thought out that it must have taken a long time to go from the concept to reality.
2The overall story for BIONICLE 2001 (and the true nature of Mata Nui) was all developed before I came to work for LEGO, by people at the company. I did not create the line, I just wrote for it.
