1So Greg, how long have you been doing this job???

2And do you enjoy this job???

1My unquenchable thirst for Bionicle knowledge compells me to ask yet more questions

21.) Why did Mata Nui explore other planets if his purpose was just to repair Spherus Magna?

32.) Because the Toa Nuva completed their destiny, would their extra power (and Tahu's kraata powers) have any affect on their Turaga transformations (like a sort of extrapowered "Turaga Nuva")?

43.) How large would a typical Great Being be?

54.) Whatever happened to the third robot?

65.) Kinda an odd question, but does the Bionicle universe have a sort of afterlife (Red Star excluded)?

76.) Is the mask of life made of regular protodermis, or another material?

87.) How did Takua become a toa by just putting on the Avohkii?

98.) If Great Beings don't usually have powers, how was the cursed one able to contact Vezon in another dimension, while freezing time around him (especially since Vezon was created directly by the Great Beings or Mata Nui)?

109.) Was Mata Nui's "toa" body closer in makeup to Glatorian or an actual toa?

11And lastly,

1210.) If the Inika's sentient masks could teach the Inika how to use their masks, then why didn't the Ignika try to teach Mata Nui had to use its powers?

1Hi Greg.

2Did you know that this year is the 10th anniversary of the second Bionicle movie?

1Ha, ha, I know you've been pounded by questions about BIONICLE already but what do you think about another action hero series based on LEGO Technic pieces for an older range of kids than Hero Factory. Everyone has got to admit that Hero Factory appeals to a much younger age group than BIONICLE ever did. So in my opinion, there's a space to be filled.

13I could answer several of thseem but it's Ask Greg so I shan't. Joking

31) 14 years this October

42) If I didn't, I would probably leave and go someplace else

11.) Why did Mata Nui explore other planets if his purpose was just to repair Spherus Magna?

22.) Because the Toa Nuva completed their destiny, would their extra power (and Tahu's kraata powers) have any affect on their Turaga transformations (like a sort of extrapowered "Turaga Nuva")?

121) Because part of his mission was to observe other cultures and gain knowledge to help prevent such a disaster from happening again

132) Possibly, but there were no plans as of 2010 to turn them into Turaga

143) Probably about the size of a Glatorian

154) Unknown. Assuming it was finished, it would probably be in a GB facility somewhere on Spherus Magna. We do not know for certain that this robot would have been the same size as Mata Nui.

165) We don't go there, because it prompts religious debate.

176) Far as I know, regular protodermis

187) The Avohkii would have had to have a similar property to a Toa stone, namely the ability to trigger a latent power in a destined Matoran

198) They don't necessarily need superpowers to do that - they need tech.

209) Toa

2110) It would have been too complicated to convey this in the movie.

3Yes. It's also the 10th anniversary of the best-selling BIONICLE book that I wrote.

2Two things:

31) In terms of set sales, Hero Factory actually sells to the same age range of fans in the US as BIONICLE did. The story may, at times, arguably skew younger, but buildable action figures are still a 9-11 year old thing in the US, while younger in Europe.

42) The second part of the answer is cannibalization. If you put out two action hero buildable action figure series at the same time, they are going to compete with each other for sales and the result will be neither one will sell well. That's something we always have to worry about. If you have two lines that are fairly similar, they will steal sales from each other.

1Just two follow-up questions.

  1. 2You previously stated that when Teridax’s Rahkshi invaded Odina, “nothing happened to” Mimic’s companion. This means she remained imprisoned in the dungeon, correct?
  2. 3With the death of Teridax, has she escaped, or will she have to survive until Toa or other rescuers find her?

4Which book is thatThinking?

1Hey Greg what do you like doing better, making Bionicle comics or Ninjago comics???

1When Mata Nui explored other planets, might those planets have been in nearby solar systems? (Then again, I doubt Mata Nui was capable of hyperspace travel.)

1Hey Greg are the rumors true about hero factory ending in 2015?

1It is Bionicle Adventures 1 Mystery of Metru Nui.
