Toa Feron 4In MNOG, the Bohrok Animations, and MNOGII, Maku and Huki have what is clear as day love for each other. Since then, however, Greg ruled their relationship uncanon, stating that beings in the MAtoran Universe are incapable of love beyond that of a friend caring about a friend (despite the fact that these two "friends" nearly kissed). I would like to ask why you decided to make it non-canon after it being canon for years.
5Simple. What was in the online games was not approved by the story team, nor was there ever anything in story bibles saying these characters had this relationship. So it was not "canon." It was done to add some characterization into the game, but logically it made no sense, so I felt no obligation to maintain something that was illogical.

2We normally start working on the first issue of the next year around July of the year before. So, for example, we are working on issue 1 for 2015 now.
3Are you using that as a fictional example or are you realy doing that?
4I was referring to the first issue of LEGO Magazine for 2015.
5Did you do BIONICLE comics at the same time as the Club magazine?

6Oh, man!!!! Hyped for..... well, even if he was he couldn't discuss it.
7But hype! hype! hype!
8There seems to be some misunderstanding about my answer. Let me clarify:
91) Back when we were doing BIONICLE comics, they were on the same production schedule as the magazine. So when I say we are working on the first issue for 2015, I am referring to LEGO Magazine and LEGO Club Jr. magazine.
102) We are not currently working on a BIONICLE comic.

2So, in the novel version of "Web of Shadows," Matau makes a nest, in which he claims that he made for "attracting visorak" so they could capture them. However, Nokama gets suspicious about this claim, and it made me a bit suspicious as well. I've heard it somewhere that Rahi cannot mate or reproduce, so surely they would not even need a nest to reporoduce. So it made me wonder why Matau would be even doing such a thing, since niether Rahi or Matoran could reproduce.
3I just wanted to know how this works out. It's been bothering me ever since I first read the book.
4As someone pointed out, Rahi still need homes even if they are not reproducing.

2I did have a few idea questions to ask you:
31) Were other Toa (non-mata) able to collect multiple Kanohi and cycle through the powers?
42) If they could cycle through similarly to the Mata, would it be possible to use two Kanohi at once? Using powers like levitation and speed for flight.
53) If dual powers could be used at a single time, would the Kanohi Akaku (x-ray vision) or the Kanohi Ruru (night vision), work with the Kanohi Kualsi (quick travel)? I understood that the powers of the Kualsi was based on line of sight, therefore if you use a second Kanohi to increase the line of sight would that be pheasable?
6Thank you for your time and consideration to answer my questions.
71) They could, yes
82) No.
93) Again, you cannot use two mask powers at once. There are masks like the Golden Kanohi that had multiple mask powers, and that's different. But with standard masks, you are wearing one at a time so using one at a time.

6I think this message made a lot of people think you were talking about BIONICLE. I mean i've seen that message on Youtube. But you have clarified you were talking about the LEGO magazine for 2015. I expect Greg's clarification to be on Youtube also.
diglett809 wrote:1Greg, have you seen the picture of the supposed "Bionicle 2015"? I don't believe it and would like to see your opinion on it. I am not asking if Bionicle is coming back, but more if these pictures are real or if somebody just faked it. I think it's faked personally.
2Haven't seen it and don't intend to.
1 Now I know you probably will not straight out answer this, and if you can't I totally understand. But there have been recent leaks in pictures that lead to Bionicle's return. Fir example we have gotten a black and white display as well as a color display for possible Bionicle 2015 sets. We also found names for sets leaked on a Russain shop site. Is Bionicle really coming back?
1In the definitely-happening theoretical event in which Bionicle comes back, and assuming it's a reboot...
2If you were in charge of the story and had the ability to change 3 things in the new storyline from the old one, what would they be?
3I'd make there be more Lightning Toa, Teridax wouldn't be as aggrivatingly undefeatable, and all the Toa Nuva would get golden armor stuff at the end. (Not as powerful as the canon Tahu golden armor, of course, because that would be OP.)
