5No the opening isn't, he only flew in the Ignika from Aqua Magna to Bara Magna, not around whole Solis Magna.

42) Well, a better question would be when was it decided that romance WOULD be canon, and the answer is never. Romance never made sense in the context of this universe, nor would it have made sense that Velika would have given anyone that trait. It served no purpose. This was, at the end of the day, a machine and the point was to keep the machine functioning. Love in terms of love of friends made sense, because that inspires loyalty and working together. Romantic love, on the other hand, might cause one to ignore their work, or get into personal disputes that would affect their work (which is why dating in the workplace is frowned upon). Considering that among humans, where love serves a purpose in helping the species to continue, the concept of "romantic love" did not exist until the Middle Ages, I couldn't see why it would have any reason to exist in BIONICLE.
5Think about it - if tyou could give the parts of your car personalities, would you feel the need to make them fall in love with each other? Do you really want your brakes fighting with your engine, or your exhaust pipe daydreaming about the fanbelt? No. To the GBs, these were parts that made a big machine go, not a social experiment, and even to Velika, there were boundaries he saw no reason to cross.

41) They were brought from Metru Nui, and the Nuva masks appeared after they became Nuva through an automatic system, if I recall correctly (and I may not be)
53) As you say, Takanuva's was from an alternate future. Things got developed at different points in that timeline.

42) Because the Rahi control power did not exist in 2001. We had not come up with the 42 Makuta powers until we had to come up with powers for the kraata. Also keep in mind that part of the point of an infected mask was that if you could get a Toa to wear one, it would allow Makuta to influence him. A Rahi control power would not have been able to do that.
