1Oh one more who is your favorite piraka.

1If a toa disk of light was made for Takanuva, could it be forged into a new mask of light?

2Who makes the toa disks, and how?

3Got buried.

1How did makuta come back every time?

2Since Makuta's antidermis can live for a brief time, at least, outside of his body, it wouldn't matter if his body was crushed as long as he had enough forewarning to get out of the body in time.

3So basically Makuta KIND OF split his soul into many pieces?  That was my thoery for when Makuta came back every time.

4No, this has nothing to do with splitting his spirit up.

1Greg, are the Toa able to "take off" their adaptive armor (they probably wouldn't want to, but do they have the ability to do so?)?

2Yes

3How, and was it ever shown in the comics?

4No, it wasn't show in the comics - comics had to reflect what sets looked like, because the point of them was to sell sets. And I assume you would take it off the same way you would take off other armor.

1Hi Greg, I have some questions.

  1. 2Who is your favorite Bionicle
  2. 3Who is your favorite character from ninjago
  3. 4What do you do for LEGO, do write the comics?
  4. 5What is your response about Bionicle coming back?

61) Kopaka

72) Jay is the most fun to write

83) I am the Editorial Director for the Consumer Marketing Agency here.

94) As with any LEGO line we release, I hope it sells well.

1 Why do you assume they are advanced weapons? A weapon that channels elemental power is just a conduit, it is not generating the power itself.

2Hmmmm...!Thinking So are you saying that elemental conduit weapons such as those carried by those Piraka and also by Toa can (at least sometimes) be very crude/primitive weaponry that can be easy enough for even a savage to make?

3Well, how hard is it to make a sword? It's not a ray gun.

Earlier you said that the 1000 years on Mata Nui were the truce between Vakama and Makuta, but wasn't the truce only for 1 year, and for the other 999 Makuta attacked the villages with infected rahi? Though it was stated that these attacks weren't earnest, just enough to keep them scared and away from Metru Nui.
4Could it be truce was that Makuta would not make legitimate attacks on the Matoran, for as long as the Turaga would not summon the Toa? This theory has a legitimate basis, as the Turaga had Takua gather the Toa Stones after an increase in Rahi attacks. It would make sense for Makuta to do this, as he would want the Toa Mata to come eventually, and that time makes sense as it would be relatively shortly before Mata Nui would die, and his plan would come to fruition.
5What do you think? Is this a good explaination, or did something different happen?61) No, they didn't. They created those stones with an eye toward using them to make future Toa. And yes, you are correct, the truce was for a year.72) No. Like I said, the canon is that they created the stones to someday make more Toa and hid them around the island. There is nothing in story to indicate that they knew the stones would summon the Toa canisters. In truth, the stones should not have been needed - the canisters had been launched long before, but malfunctioned. If they hadn't, the Toa would have gotten to Mata Nui roughly 1000 years before.

8Well Greg, what you think if there was ever a story of an alternate universe where the canisters didn't malfunction?Thinking I think it would neat to see the Toa Mata and the Toa Metru together and still knowing what was really going on.😃HappyConfusedtarry_eyed:Thumbs upHeart

9Fan fiction can be whatever you want it to be.

21) Yes

32) I actually play PC games more than video games. Generally, if I have time to be in front of my TV, I am watching TV. I do have a PSIII, but I really don't use it much.

1A few questions:

21) Why do many entities (Matoran, Turaga ect.) Need to wear masks?

32) If the toa Mata were created in case Mata nui ever fell asleep, that seems like a pretty random thing for the Great Beings to consider. Did they have some sort of clarvoyent powers or do they just have a special toa team in place for every possible situation?

43) Every Matoran on Metru Nui knew Lhikan, so it can be assumed that they knew about his team as well, since Nidhiki seemed to be a major toa there for a while too. Why then do none of the Toa Metru or Tehutti and friends recognize the name when Ahkmou called out four legged Nidhiki?

54) Is there any significant reason as to why there are genders for these beings aside from asthetic? Since they are built by machines, are there any difference between the genders, like different chemicals or something in them to warrent making them distinctly different?

61) Why do so many electronic devices need batteries?

72) They were building a huge, sophisticated machine. Huge, sophisticated machines can break down. This is like saying you had to be a clairvoyant to know autos would require mechanics at some point.

83) Because he looked nothing like the Nidhiki they knew. If you had a best friend named Sam, and one day a giant toad shows up called Sam, would you automatically assume that's your friend?

94) There are psychological differences between the genders.

103. Then what about Tuyet? Surely she would have been remembered, oh and how did Lhikan know it was Nidhiki?

11We only saw a very few Matoran encountering Tuyet during Teridax's reign, so we don't know one way or the other how well she was remembered by the population at large. Consider the fact that by the time she returned, the Matoran had had their memories of life on Metru Nui wiped.

1 Do you write any other stories for LEGO besides Bionicle?
ScribeGT6817 wrote:1Hi Lightninja - I have had over 80 books published in my career, including novels, graphic novels, and game books.

2Wait? Graphic novels? are you also an artist? Or do you have a illistrator?

1Hey Greg,

2One plot element I found confusing in the 2006 story (Piraka) is how the Piraka were so easily able to defeat the Toa Nuva, yet seem to have a harder time fighting with the novice Toa Inika. I know the story team needed the Inika to advance the story, but I always found this a little confusing. Thanks!

11 did the Bahrag make other Bohrok kal besides the six we saw in 2003

22 did Artahka make Nuva variants of other kanohi beisides the six the toa mata wear? examples being Garai nuva, or a huna nuva

33 did you get inspiration for the Federation of fear from DC's suicde squad

1Hello again!

2Do you know what the colouration of the Earth Tribe was planned to be?  If so, what was it?

3Thank you!
