But to answer your question, there is no evidence of the Makuta or anyone else in the MU conversing directly with Mata Nui prior to 2009.72) Two-part answer. Yes, a possessed body would gain some Makuta powers, but not all. And a Makuta cannot possess a body that already has a consciousness in it, so influencing the host would not be an issue.

Would you say they were more like imperfect chunks, spherical moons, or something else?

41) We always showed Lewa using his Mask of Levitation to float in air. Once he is in the air, he would be able to use his power to create updrafts so he could glide. And yes, he can use wind to move objects.
52) I would say no. The Legendary powers in BIONICLE are all tied to masks. The GSB does not use a mask.

5I know I'm not Greg, and I'm sure he could have his own answer to this, but if you search "Biomedia Project" on Google, you should find a site that has all the comics uploaded for you to read. I believe it was created by a group of fans, and it is very helpful! Once you get there, go to "Pictures," and you'll find the icon that says "Comics." It has them all!
