3No, Makuta don´t know where he is, they didn´t attack him directly and they didn´t know about Karda Nui´s ENTRANCE until Vamprah found it....Vultraz didn´t tell them and that´s why Gorast wanted to kill him.
1Just started thinking... (and I know you'll be gone for a while... so I might not get a response for a couple of weeks or so...) and I've got a few theories whirling in my head.
21. First off, could the energy storm whirling in Karda Nui be likened to the blood pumping inside a heart? As in, the energy is pumped around the universe, to keep the core energy flowing? 32. Is it any specific type of energy? Say, light energy? Or just some form of raw power that energizes Mata Nui? 42b. Is the Ignika capable of producing this energy?
5If 1 is completely off, these questions might be slightly irrelevant, but if you could humor me, that'd be great...63. Do the Toa Nuva need to jolt some form of energy to restart this heart, kinda like a blood transfusion? 74. Is this why their weapons adapted to the "any-type-of-energy" Nynrah Ghost Blasters? To create the Heart Energy? 85. Did Teridax's virus create some sort of "blood clot" to stop this energy from flowing, hence stopping the energy storm? 96. Did he, by any chance, unblock this clot when he reached the Well-Guarded Location in Bionicle Legends#9?
107. Somewhat unrelatedly, is Teridax going to be inside the Matoran Universe when the Plan ultimately succeeds or fails? Or would he stay outside of the universe for a short while, as Mata Nui may not be able to kill him outside of the MU? He seemed pretty rattled by Karzahni's vision... enough to avoid Mata Nui's death beam as much as possible...

1Maybe it is the sealed-off part of the Codrex. We have never been there (the Toa Mata decided against destroying the wall that sealed it off in Bionicle Legends#10) and it is inside the Universe - and inside Karda Nui, where this year's story takes place. And there's a lot of machinery inside the Codrex and the Codrex itself is protected by a non-living force field. Does it make sense? 2Just imagine - the Toa Nuva enter the hidden part of the Codrex and find themselves confronted with Teridax for a final battle . Remember, the Nuva have to awake Mata Nui from inside the Codrex and Teridax wants to control the point of time of Mata Nui's awakening. Who knows what he might be up to... (I will follow this thought and include it in my Universe guide, just follow the link my sig).

21-Will we ever see Mata nui in his physical form? You said his physical form is hard to find, but when you know you found it, you will have. You also said that his physical form is not a character we have seen yet, so how will we know when we have found it?
32-On Bioniclesector01, is states that ata nui has an "alternate form in the Toa Empire pocket dimention, and that this form is still awake. Is this mata nui a second Great Spirit? Or does it count as the same one?

What is the connection between the Makuta and the Matoran outside the core. (you are talking about the matoran outside, right? Or are there Matoran inside the core?
