11. When Mata Nui moves, how does the universe not simply fall apart? Or does he manage that with his powers?
22. How do Glatorian and Agori come into being?
33. Has Tarix ever beaten a Skrall?
44. Has any Vorox or Zesk ever "invaded" any villages?
55. Has anyone ever tried to tame a Vorox?
66. If more leader class Skrall can be brought into existance, does Tuma know or simply have no intention to?
7Thanks for your time.
81) Same way everyone the Enterprise does not get flattened into goo when it goes into warp speed -- artificial gravity and stabilizers 92) Why does this matter? 103) No 114) In general, no. Like wild animals, they tend to stay away from populated areas when possible. 125) Yes 136) He sees no need for them at this point. Why would he want to share leadership with someone else? The other leaders who died had their own troops of Skrall, this one's his.
14Tuma's quite the greedy thing.

16There were more Skrall before the shapeshifters started to kill them, sure.
1Hello Greg, long time reader, first time writer. I just have one question.
21) As the Matoran Universe can Teridax accses his powers of shadow, or any of his 42 other powers?
3He has access to the same powers he had when he was in Maxilos -- for example, he cannot shapeshift.
4My first quote, I guess he's not just a giant robot, but a giant robot that can shoot chain lightning and has laser eyes.
1Dear Mr. Farshtey,
2Sorry to bother you but I have 1 question.
31- Do any of the glatorain employed in the villages see benefits to getting rid of their competitors?
4Thanks in advance,
5GREITEX
61) In general, no, for the same reason that boxers don't go around having other boxers murdered. If you do that, who is there for you to fight? And if there is no one for you to fight, then why should a village feed and shelter you?
7Interesting, there may be exceptions.
1Hi Greg, just a couple of quick q's.
21) Who is Tesera's main Glatorian, the one used for important fights, Vastus or Gresh? 31a) Tajun's, Kiina or Tarix?
42) Did any of these Glatorian help create the Arena system: Gelu, Vastus, Kiina, or Ackar?
53) Since Tesara and Tajun have only two Glatorian, Vulcanus and Iconox one, other than being trainees, what do other non-hired Glatorian do?
6Thanks for your time.
71) Vastus and Tarix 82) No 93) Glatorian who can't get hired in a village usually wind up living in the wastelands as bandits.
11. You said that a village on Bara Magna has a #1 and a #2 glatorian, do the numbers mean anything significant?
22. If so then who is #1 and #2 for... 3- Iconox (before Gelu retired) 4- Tajun 5- Tesara
61) Yes -- #1 would be the one you use for your most important matches, #2 for less important matches 72) Strakk and Gelu 83) Tarix and Kiina 94) Vastus and Gresh
22. If so then who is #1 and #2 for... 3- Iconox (before Gelu retired) 4- Tajun 5- Tesara

1Appears Strakk was above Gelu. Interesting.
1Hi Greg Im not sure if anyone has asked this because of the deletion but if you have the time sometime during the year would you consider haveing a moc contest were people can build moc's of the wild life of Bara Magna? Like someone build's a moc then write's up a little Biography and then mabey the winners mocs could become cannon?
2Something we might be able to do in Club magazine, yes ...
3I hope it happens
1Hi Mr Farshtey I have some questions for you.
21) Do Zesk and Vorox speak the same language?
32) When is the poll which will confirm Pouk's Kanohi name going to take place?
43) Since the Fire Tribe also have Ackar, how come they do not use him to fight for them?
54) Is Razor-Edge Shield the official name for Gresh's weapon?
64b) If it isn't, then what is the official name?
7Thanks for your time.
81) Yes 92) When I have time to do it, it's not top of my priority list right now 103) They do. But I can't show him in the comic because his set is not out yet. 114) Closest to an official name that we have

1Appears Strakk was above Gelu. Interesting.
2Because Gelu is retired, but if needed he would probably fight.
3- Fifdede -
4He meant before he went into retirement, Strakk was above Gelu. It's probably because he uses every trick he's allowed to. I find it interesting, though, that Iconox and Vulcanus are both down to one Glatiorian...

1Hi Greg, thank you for taking the time to answer questions. Fans like me really appreciate it.
2I just have a few things that were bugging me.
31. Is there some kind of inter-dome transport system? Because there are instances were characters miraculously leap from the MU torso to the limbs. Maybe some kind of teleport system? A portal?
42. Would a Toa of Stone be able to effectively control sand? Or is it easier to throw huge chunks?
53. Would Toas of Iron and Magnetism be considered the most 'dangerous' type of toa, considering every living thing inside the MU is partly mechanical?
6Thanks,
7Uzumakikunai
81) Yes, it's called "author's license" 92) We don't let the Toa of Stone control sand because a lot of our fans don't know sand is just ground down stone and I don't have time in story to give a science lesson 103) Certainly among the most dangerous
111) Well played, good sir. 122) Okay 133) Cool
1Hello, sir. I have some questions for you.
21) Can Mata Nui understand Matoran (Language)?
32) The Great Beings in "The Melding Alternate Universe" could understand Matoran, but could they understand Agori?
43) Do Great Beings speak Matoran, Agori, any other language or multiple languages?
5Thanks.
61) Yes 72) Yes 83) They would most likely speak Agori or some language related to it, but would also be able to speak and understand Matoran.
9-Toa Pohatu Mata
1Hello Greg. Thanks for answering my other questions.
2Recently in the OGD someone said that you confirmed that Skodonius(sp?) is in a summer set. Is this true?
3Thank you. If you can not answer this question, please don't even bother responding. Thanks again.
4I believe that is the case, yes
5I am betting he is driving Kaxium V3. If not, then... I have no clue.
1Hello again. 2I've got some more questions that I wish to be answered, please.
31. Are arena matches solely for disputes, or are there matches just for Glatorian to compete, besides Arena Magna? 42. How often do the trainees get to fight in the arena? 53. On that note, how does Metus train Glatorian? 64. When not worrying about survival or work, what would an Agori do on his free time?
7As a side question: 85. Do you think the new Glatorian head pieces look like Iron Man?
91) Solely for disputes 102) As often as their village has a minor dispute they can risk them on 113) Same way a gladiator would have been trained 124) They don't get a lot of free time. Try surviving in a desert someday, it doesn't allow you lots of leisure time 135) Nope, no more than any other BIONICLE figure wearing a metal helmet does. Had the Iron Man movie not come out last year, no one would even be making this comparison, is my guess.
14Off topic: 15Just thought of something. 16How would Mata Nui speak to the Agori and Glatorian?
1Hey GregF, 21. Along with my other questions about the Glatorian code, In reading chapter 3 of RoS, I noticed something odd. Tuyet said she died 2000 years ago, but as far as we know, she only died 1000 years ago in the Great Cataclysm. Was this on purpose? 32. And Kodan ball was stated instead of Kohlii ball. Is Kodan ball a type of Kohlii ball? 4Sorry to bother you again.
51) Yes 62) That was just a typo on my part
1Hey Greg, just a few questions,
21. This is just an idea, but is it possible that when Mata Nui is lying down with an island on his face, there are tubes connecting his arms to his torso and some connecting his legs together, that MU inhabitants could use to travel between those sections of his body? It would explain how some characters were able to travel quickly between places that, if there were no tubes, would take a long time to get to. For example, Trinuma quickly traveled from an island off the Southern Continent to Tren Krom's island to hide the cache of weapons the FoF were going to use. If there are no tubes, he would've had to go northwest, through the shoulder, and south past a bunch of other islands. But if there are tubes, he could just travel west. Another example would be when Helryx and Keetongu quickly traveled from Nynrah to the Energized Protodermis Entity's island. With no tubes, they would have to go north, through the shoulder, and a long ways south to get there. With tubes, however, they would just have to go west and a little ways south.
32. Are you planning to do the polls for Pouks's mask and Trinuma's gun anytime soon?
43. Have you decided what Tarix and Berix's tubes are for, or do you already know and haven't revealed it.
54. Does the design on the Skrall shield have any special meaning?
6Thanks a lot .
7-Lord Salokin
81) At this point, I really see no need to explain how this works -- BIONICLE gets boring if every single detail gets explained. 92) If I have time, yes, right now I don't have much. 103) Something I need to discuss with the story team 114) Most designs mean something, don't they?
1Just some questions on Protodermis.
21. If an anti-Protodermis ability/power/attack (say the The Shadowed One's eyebeams) was used on Protosteel, would there be any difference in time to destroy it or something compared to Protodermis? 32. The Zyglak's Protodermis-eating disease is also anti-Protosteel too, right? 43. We know living creatures could be transformed or destroyed if dipped in Energized Protodermis, but would the same apply for inaminate objects or would they just transform? 54. That said, do inanimate objects have destinies too or is it dependent on the user?
61) Not so you would notice 72) Yes 83) Same applies 94) Yes, they do have destinies -- if my tire blows out on the way home today, it was my tire's destiny to do so.
10Yay for inanimate empathy .
1Hey GregF, just two questions. 21. Is there a Glatorian honor code, sorta like a Toa honor code, and if so, what is it? 32. Are Glatorian allowed to kill outside of the arena, or will they be banished (meaning does arena rules apply to outside as well)? 4Thanks.
51) Following the rules of the arena, fighting as hard as they can for the village that pays them, not harming or killing an opponent who has already surrendered 62) Depends. If the village is being attacked by bone hunters and the Glatorian is defending it, no one is going to punish him for killing a bone hunter. If two Glatorian get into an argument outside of the arena and one kills the other, that's still murder and there would be punishment.
1QUOTE 2Hello, Greg . It's been a while since last I bugged you with questions. biggrin.gif
3Anywhoozle,
41) Is Kiina our female character or are they yet to be revealed? 52) From what I've read of The Crossing, I gather that Gelu is about as heartless as Strakk-is this accurate? 63) Does Strakk have any heart in that ice-cold armor of his, or is he just too hardened to care anymore? 74) Is Vastus as wise as he looks?(I think he looks pretty wise) 85) How many special forces like Stronius would you say exist? 96) Gresh and Tarix seem like pretty noble fellows-especially given the situation. How many of the known Agori characters are like that? 107) Was that convoy in the beginning of The Crossing the one Tarduk was using to explore? Is that why he lied to get a Glatorian's aid? 118) Do you think you could give us an anonymous line from the movie? Then see if we could figure it out? 129) Do you think a Zesk wags it's tail at the approach of a respected figure like Malum? 1310) Are the shapeshifting entities evil, or just doing what they think is right like the Skrall? 1411) Have you heard of the movie '9'? 1512) What does a Skrall of Stronius' rank do when not on a mission? 1613) What do any Skrall do for that matter? 1713) Does Stronius have a really creepy personality? 1814) If offered, would Tuma allow the Glatorian/Agori to fight with the Skrall against the shadowshifters? 1915) What ways could a Glatorian or an Agori earn some form of respect from a Skrall? 2016) Are particularly good fighters and special Ops held in high regard to the Skrall? 2117) Do Skrall have 'war heroes'? 2218) Do Skrall kill for personal gain ever? 2319) Do Skrall have any particular code of... 'honor'? 2420) Do the Agori celebrate the victory of their Glatorian after the Tournament...Well, when there still WAS a tournament?
25Wow... Okay... That was more than intended. 26Sorry 'bout that, I hope this isn't overwhelming and thank you for taking your time to read this. smile.gif
27I hope you have a wonderful afternoon . 28Regards: 29---CWV---
301) Yes, she is the female character 312) Nonsense. If you hire Gelu, he will put his life on the line to save yours and get you where you have to go. What's heartless about that? 323) Strakk is a mercenary. He has a heart, it's just filled with regard for himself. 334) I don't want to go into depth on summer sets 345) Not that many, hence the term "special" 356) I would say Tarduk is, Raanu is in his own way 367) No. Different story entirely 378) No 389) No. They are not cocker spaniels 3910) I can't discuss them 4011) No 4112) Train 4213) What do Army soldiers do when not on a mission? 4313) Brutal 4414) More likely, he would use them as cannon fodder 4515) I can't think of one 4616) Yes 4717) Yes, the ones who have names 4818) Yes, but they then get executed for it 4919) To the extent that they value duty and obedience to their leader even at the cost of their own lives 5020) Sure

10Thanks, just a one more question:
11If Vastus is Tesara's main Glatorian, then why did Gresh fought the Skrall in Vulcanus instead of Vastus?
12Thanks again.
13Two reasons: 141) Vastus had just finished three strenuous matches in a short span of time and needed a rest and 152) Vastus' set is not out yet, so I can't show him fighting anyone in the comic.
16New things are in bold.

16New things are in bold.
17I like his first answer to the Vastus question. It really holds up to the image of him I created for my Bara Magna epic-that he's essentially an invincible Glatorian in the arena due to his skills (but I don't want to get too off topic, so I'll leave it at that).
1Hi Greg. It's been a while since my last PM to you, so I'll try to remember my questios.
21- Would Malum be considered an ex-Glatorian, since he no longer fights in the arena?
32- Ehlek ruled the eastern island chain and Zakaz, right?
43- Is Tren Krom's island named Tren Krom?
54- I remember in an answer related to species, you mentioned "just like the Vortixx and Nynrah". Did you mean the Nynrah Ghosts, or a native species to Nynrah (island) also called Nynrah?
65- When do you think we will get into Shadow Takanuva on Destral?
76- Does he count as a Toa in the universe? 86b- So it's 58 Toa, right?
9Thanks for your time
101) Yes 112) Don't recall off the top of my head, I haven't worried about that in a while 123) No 134) I don't recall that answer 145) No idea, I have all year to play with ROS 156) No, I do not count the shadow Takanuva as Toa. A Toa is a hero -- a shadow Toa is not.
16Nothing much, but now we can have a former Glatorian section instead of mixing Malum and Certavus (and later Gelu) in with all the current Glatorian. Does anyone else remember that Nynrah quote?
1Hi Greg
2I've got some questions:
31- Wich metal is actually stronger, protosteel or exidian?
42- Is it possible for a Toa of Iron to create and control exidian?
53- When is the poll about Pouk's mask being hold? 6b- If you don'have time for it, why don't you ask another member to host it?
7All for now and thanks in advance
81) Protosteel. Exsidian is valued in large part because it does not corrode from exposure to sand as quickly as standard metal does. 92) If he knew exsidian existed, probably, but no Toa knows this. 103) The constant questions on this are starting to get a little wearisome.
11I think people should stop asking Greg about Pouk's mask
1Hello sir, I've been reading in the OGD and have a few questions based on some things I've seen.
21. Strakk is Iconox's number 1 fighter, Gelu the number 2. In most cases the summer sets are more experienced, but, what about this instance? Is it due to Strakk's near cheating, or cheating, methods? Or is it just that Strakk is more skilled? Or can't you tell us?
32. The reason Vastus didn't fight the Skrall was because he had just fought three other battles. Will we find out about those at all?
4Thank you.
51) Strakk is more experienced. He's older than Gelu and has been fighting for longer. 62) No, not relevant to the story. Glatorian fight in matches all the time, not every one is important to story.
1not much, just some news.
2QUOTE:mr farshtey:
3some people have said that after teridax made him a picture, miserix was still alive. how is that possible? 4and: will we ever find out who that guy who the skrall was talking to in comic 1 was?
51) Simple. Did he make him a 2D picture, or did he make Miserix and everyone else in the chamber THINK Miserix was a 2D picture? 62) Yes. In the movie.

1Hey GregF, just three questions this time. 21. How many Shadow Takanuvas are still alive as of now? 31a. There was one who seemed to get out safely from his statis tube, so is he still alive? 42. When you talk about Glatorian implants, does this mean they are born with them, or over the years, they are given these implants? 5Thanks.
61) A handful 71a) Yes 82) No, an implant is something you get later, it's not something you are born with. That's why they call it an implant, because it is implanted.

1Lol, isn't it 2 for 2? Vastus and Ackar for summer and Tarix and Strakk for winter. It's even. Unless you want to count Stronius. :-/
1Vastus, Ackar, Stronius, Mata Nui. Four of six, but then again, MN could go either way at this point.
1Vastus, Ackar, Stronius, Mata Nui. Four of six, but then again, MN could go either way at this point.
2Well, the Skrall have decided to just take over Bara Magna instead of following the Arena system, so that rules out Stronious.
3MN hasn't even landed on BM yet. Rules him out.
4Only potentially. We don't know yet though, so its not really a viable answer either way I guess-if he is or isn't.
5Anyway, has anyone asked about the Zesk's animal behaviors? Like, if they do anything to show they're about to strike, like a normal animal would? Or hasn't anyone thought of that yet? I'm wondering if I wasted Greg's time by asking if we already know it.
