1QUOTE 2Hello Greg. How's it goin'?
31.When did Tobduk's island get overrun by Visorak (in relation to the quest for the Mask of Life)?
42.Did Tobduk gain his anger powers after the incident, or were they pre-exisiting?
52a.If yes, did all the members of his species have them?
63.Does Mata Nui now have some control over the Ignika's abilities? i.e. the way he charged his Stinger Sword to destroy the cliff, and when he purposely transformed Metus into a viper.
74.How can Metus still talk even though he's a snake, and will he reappear in the storyline?
85.Compared to Mata Nui, how big is the robot on Bara Magna?
96.How were the villagers able to literally pull their villages together?
107.At the end of TLR, there is a tablet with Mata Nui's likeness, the Three Virtues symbol, and a third thing. I know I've seen it before, but what does the third symbol mean?
118.Is there any reason why the form the Scarabax Beetles took when they worked together looked like Malum? Is it because they've seen him before, because I don't know how that could be a coincidence.
129.Are the Vorox tails entirely mechanical?

3Okay...we knew that at the time of the Karda Nui war, there were 15 remaining Makuta. The Phankuta and Miskuta make six, Icarax and Mutran make eight, Teridax, Spiriah, Miserix, and Tridax make twelve, and this guy makes thirteen. This means that there are two remaining Makuta who were left on the surface, and were killed either in the war, by Miserix, or by Teridax.

1In Federation of Fear, when Botar was killed, Trinuma dropped weapons at the "first place he found". Now, since the Matoran Universe map was revealed, it's bugged me a bit that Trinuma went all the way around the universe to drop the weapons at the "first place he found". Is it possible that either Botar teleported Trinuma away to a random location to save him, or that Trinuma himself can teleport?

44Just FYI, the "wing add-ons" (I don't see how they even remotely look like wings) are actually blades, and they're strapped to his armor for an advantage in close combat. I asked about that a looooooooong time ago, so I can understand if it's been forgotten. It's essentially the same function as the blades on the shoulders of warrior-class Skrall.

1Hey Greg, 2So I read somewhere that the Bara Magna robot (the united villages body) was built a long time before the Core War. If the Matoran Universe's mission was to observe societies and prevent future wars (I assume it was programmed after the Core War) then what was the BM robot's mission? Or was it purely a prototype to see if they could do something like that? 3Thanks, 4ToC

5The latter.

82) Off the top of my head, I don't recall listing him as a member, but I may be misremembering

9Can you now confirm if Keetongu is an agent in the Order of Mata Nui or not?
104. Now that the Visorak are recreated, was the Heart of the Visorak recreated as well?

112) Nope. 123) Keetongu is allied with the OOMN, he is not an official member. 134) Not as yet, no

1Hello Greg,
2I was hoping I could get some feedback from you. Now I know that you occasionally do let the fans add to the canon, and I had an idea that I think may work.
3Is it possible that we could name the mega-city Atero? I know you're not a fan of naming things after others, but I think it'd make a lot of sense. After all, Atero was a neutral zone shared by all 6 tribes. And seeing as it is destroyed, the Agori would want it to be remembered. Not to mention that now that the Skrall are not part of it, so it would be a morale boost. Like, for example, it would go, "Yeah, you silly Skrall . Try to take Atero this time .". This also means we could have an official name that authentically Bara Magnan, and yet not have to create a new one.
4Let me know if you think this is a good idea.

5It's not a bad idea, but I have no plans to name it, simply because the events of 2010 mean it won't be there long.

6So I'm guessing that means the BM robot is getting powered up soon or it'll be destroyed.
7Speculate away.

11. Have you seen BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn yet? I'm not rushing you; I just want to make sure before I ask a bunch of TLR-specific questions which you'd need to watch the movie to see.
22. In the Chamber of the Elements, the jungle passage is labeled "Air Element" in Matoran Lettering, although it visibly features vines and trees. Was this passage and chamber meant to showcase the jungle element or the air element? I'm asking for the Wiki—it currently states that that passage is for the Jungle Element, and I'm not sure whether the Matoran lettering is a credible source to contradict that.
33. What is the function/purpose of the little coin-shaped thing (featuring the Skrall-insignia map and Ignika/Mata Nui icon) which Berix found in the lab? If it's going to be addressed in future story you obviously don't have to tell me.
44. Are you able to say yet whether the physical transformation of the Glatorian weapons is canon?

51) Nope, not yet. Hopefully this weekend 62) Not really something I can answer, as the lettering for the chambers is not in the script I have. The animators decided this, I guess, and I do not know what the original intent was 73) It is going to be dealt with in future story 84) Yes, it is

1Hey GregF, just a few questions. 2I have two quotes I would like to address:
dinoman82
35: Did Sidorak and Roodaka ever met any of the other Makuta?

45) I am sure they did

‘BS01’
5Voporak was once a member of Sidorak's species and a clan leader on the island of Stelt. Seeking to usurp his position of power, Sidorak encouraged the Brotherhood of Makuta to select him for experimental mutation. By combining Energized Protodermis, Roodaka's mutation Rhotuka, and other mutagenic substances, they transformed Voporak into a being sensitive to shifts in time, one that would be able to locate the Kanohi Vahi if it ever came into existence. The Brotherhood of Makuta lent this being to the Dark Hunters to learn discipline, but Voporak became loyal to the Hunters rather than the Brotherhood as a result.

6a. In the first quote, you state that during his lifetime, Sidorak did meet other Makuta (besides Teridax, I assume), however many he met. 7In the second quote, it is stated that Sidorak asked the Brotherhood of Makuta to select Voporak for experimentation. Because Voporak and Sidorak were living on Stelt, can you confirm that that Sidorak met with the Makuta of Stelt regarding Voporak?
8b. Nowhere does it state what island Voporak was mutated on nor which Makuta lead the project. Because Voporak and Sidorak were on Stelt, can you confirm that the Makuta of Stelt spearheaded the project of transforming Voporak into what he is today on the island of Stelt?
9c. Also, can you confirm that the Makuta of Stelt lent Voporak to the Dark Hunters?
10d. Were there multiple Makuta involved in Voporak's transformation and if so, were they any of the 8 Karda Nui Makuta, Teridax, or Tridax?

11a-c) Yes 12d) No
#8981
1Hello, Greg, its been months since I sent you any pms, but now its time again.

32) When will we find out what the message Trem Krom sent to Mata Nui was?

54) What has Lewa been doing since losing his body?
65) Does he regret making the deal to let Trem Krom out?
76) How are doing today?

91) Well, let's think about it -- let's say someone turns you into a non-venomous snake and drops you into a hostile desert. You don't know anything about how to survive as a snake. 1Hi Greg, Just a short one this time
21.Would it be reasonable to assume that the plague tribe's element was one of the elements in the mu that we didn't see much of, such as plasma or magnetism?
32. If BIONICLES stop selling, and LEGO drops the line, do you think you would continue the story somewhere, such as on bzpower?
43. Has LEGO and tinsel toons started on a 5th movie, or not?
5Thats all. I hope you aren't to busy. 6-Redge the Bat.

71) I haven't decided on an element for them, but I think it's going to have to be something that isn't that esoteric. 82) That would be largely up to whether I had the free time or not, and whether Legal would allow me to do so on here. 93) Any info on movie plans is going to have to come from LEGO PR or Tinseltown Toons. I don't have anything to announce.

10Ok, thank you . I just have one question,
11Do Mata-Nui and Trenn Krom know each other? As in, they have spoken with each other before, and not just that they know of each other.
12Thank's for your time, 13-Redge the Bat.

14They really had no reason to have conversations.

15Nothins much.

16And 3 good guy, 3 bad guy, That means the Skakdi is a bad guy. huh. 17I wonder who it is, as before Nektann has been more of a good-guy. All he has ever really done in the story is help the OoMN, a noble cause if any.

1I know the first three are old, but I asked them a while back, and the other confirms that the Stars Takanuva isn't a shadow Takanuva, so we still don't know why he has silver/gray armor

2Well, it's just a set thing. First, the small sets have the same colors as always: Red (Tahu), Black (Skrall), brown (Rahkshi), blue (Skakdi), green (Gresh), and that leaves only white for Takanuva. And second: If Takanuva had a golden armor, Tahu's golden armor wouldn't be special anymore. 3I don't think there's a story reason. Greg said he'd just use him as the regular Takanuva, so he's probably still wearing his golden armor in the story.

31) Like any shapeshifter, they have to have a base form, and it will be shown in BIONICLE Graphic Novel #8 next year, published by Papercutz

4As Bfahome once said, I think that form will be the winner of BBC contest #54.

1Hello again, sorry to bother you but I had just a few more questions.
21. Does anything happen if Mata Nui removes the Ignika from his face/head?
32. Has Tuma ever personally met the Elemant Lord of Rock?
43. Has the ELR encountered Baterra before?
5Thank you, that is all.

61) Yes, his new body would cease to exist 72) I am sure he has 83) No. ELs did not go out and fight in battles, so they would have had no reason to run into baterra. Baterra were going after the troops.

1Nothing very important; mostly old stuff I was curious about.
26. Is there something special about Toa Tools, something that makes them different from ordinary Matoran tools? Say, something that allows them to channel elemental energies without being destroyed? Is it possible they somehow become different when a Toa uses them? 36) Not that I know of

41. I ask because a friend noticed that Toa tools seem to be able to shrug off things that destroy pretty much anything else; for example, Kopaka Nuva being able to block Panrahk's fragmentation powers with his ice blades. He was still affected, but the blades remained intact. Also, we have seen the Toa Hordika knocking away Rhotuka with their tools, including Keelerak acid Rhotuka that are supposed to be able to dissolve pretty much anything. Also he theorizes that not just any substance would be able to handle channeling the forces the Toa use, such as temperatures that could melt or shatter most solid objects. *shrug* It just seems that Toa tools can perform some fantastic feats for ordinary protodermis. Unless there's some other reason for their abilities. 51) Thing is, though, if you say the tools are different, then you have to say the Toa are not made of standard proto either, since they can channel elemental powers through their hands. And then you have to say the Turaga aren't either, since they also can channel lower level elemental power through their hands. And the can of worms is well and truly opened.
62. What kind of energy did the Coliseum in Metru Nui produce? Was it straight-up electricity or something more exotic? 72) I prefer to think it was something more exotic
83. Will there be serials next year? 93) Looks like it
104. Can the red star (or the creatures in it) really tell the future based on its position against the stars, or was that just Matoran superstition? (Pretty accurate superstition if it was.) 114) I see it as being like astrology -- you can interpret things a lot of different ways so that it comes out looking like you were predicting something.
125a. Also, what was the point of the Great Telescope that would deploy on the decoy island? Why would Gali have to take note of its position for the Great Beings' preparations? 135a) Mata Nui needs the red star to leave the planet. So if he is going to wake up, you need to make sure its orbit has not decayed, etc. 145b. Were they supposed to do something if it was out of place or something?

156. Can the biomechanical creatures of the Matoran Universe develop physically? They can get tired, worn out physically, be wounded, heal, etc. We've seen this. But can a Matoran or Toa make themselves physically stronger/faster/have more endurance? Can they develop their organic muscles or are they pretty much stuck where they are? 166) Yes, they can. Muscle is muscle, it can be developed. Lung power can also be bettered through training.
177. Were all seven breeds of Visorak recreated by Teridax? Or is it possible that he made his own breeds, with their own appearances and powers? 187) No, he made the seven we know of
198a. Were there a lot of Nynrah Ghosts that lived off-island or did pretty much all of them stay home? 208) Not that many left 218b. Was it only rogues that would leave?
228c. If yes, is that including the substantial number on Xia or were they just there for the work?

239a. Did Teridax spring anyone from the Pit or did he leave everyone there? 249) Right now, everyone in still there. If you get caught, he tends to see you as an incompetent. 259b. Would he have set Roodaka free?

2610a. [MN Guide Spoilers] 2710) [MN Guide Spoilers] 2810b. [Question related to MN Guide spoilers involving Atero and Dormus] 2910b) Thing is, Atero is a recent symbol of cooperation ... Dormus, on the other hand, is a symbol of peace that is deceptive, since if you venture too close, you die.
30Responses:
311. Fair enough. Too bad, though. 322. Sounds about right; doubt we'll find out what it is, though. 333. Yay . 344. Still, pretty accurate guesses. 355. Okay. 366. Sweet . This lines up with something I'm writing. 377. I don't know whether to be happy or disappointed. On the one hand, all the Visorak are back. On the other hand, no new breeds. 388. Okay. 399. 1Hey GregF, I have nine questions. 22. Most, if not all, Makuta are considered evil. What would Miserix be considered, since he refused to rebel against Mata Nui? 33. What were his motives before Teridax rebelled? 45. Are the Manas and Mana Ko related in any way? 56. Are the Visorak and Zivon related in any way? 68. Were there more Order of Mata Nui members than Brotherhood of Makuta members at the time of Miserix's reign? 79. Does Brutaka currently have all 42 Makuta powers, or has it decreased a bit since time has passed? 8Thanks.

92) Miserix was a bad guy too, he simply saw no percentage in taking on Mata Nui. He didn't think the BOM could win. 103) Accumulating power in a way that wouldn't attract MN's attention 115) Not that I am aware of 126) No 138) Yes 149) I'm not sure I want him to have all 42, so I haven't decided yet

1Hi Mr. Farshtey. I just had a few questions:
21. Can Helryx transform into a Turaga (after fulfilling her destiny &sacrificing her Toa power, of course)?
32. I know that this is from way back, but were lavaboards used solely on the island of Mata Nui? Also, was Ignalu a universal sport, or was it also limited to Mata Nui?
43. I believe someone's already asked you this, but I just wanted to confirm: are there currently any plans to have Perditus make a serial/comic appearance?
54. Does Pit mutagen have similar effects on all members of the species that are not immune to it (e.g. would it transform all Skakdi into sea snakes)?
65. In regard to the Barraki, it was confirmed that they were all from six "prime" species created by Mata Nui. Thus far, we have only seen Ehlek's species (the amphibious race in the seas of Zakaz). Will the other species ever make a story appearance?
7Thank you for your time.

Master of the Rahkshi

17. Were all seven breeds of Visorak recreated by Teridax? Or is it possible that he made his own breeds, with their own appearances and powers? 27) No, he made the seven we know of

3Why did greg say that? When I asked him if he would remake the visorak, he said no because they make a lousy army of occupation.

1Well, he must have remembered what he wrote in the Makuta's Guide to the Universe, which does state that the Visorak army was recreated.

19. Looks like Roodaka is still in there. 2:voyanui: Master of the Rahkshi :voyanui:

1Dear Greg,
21. Back in 2001, the toa mata combined their powers to beat Teridax in his "void" form, why wasn't he trapped in a toa seal?
32. Will we see any legions of skrall later on?
4Thank you very much.

51) If you don't fire all your powers at the EXACT same time, a Toa seal is not formed. 62) They don't really exist as legions anymore, only as scattered bands in the desert.

7I think #1 has some new info.

8Nope; I got that answer quite a while ago. It's a very interesting rule, though.
