1Greg, I jumped on the Bionicle bandwagon in mid '05 when I discovered MNOLG, and was hooked by the storyline. After that I read/played through all of the available material. The storyline was a large portion of what I loved in Bionicle. Is there anywhere where you are continuing it? I can't seem to find anything on the net... If not, do you have any plans to continue?
2Thanks. -An avid Bionicle fan.

3Right now, no. There is no LEGO site where it could live and no one here is pushing for the old story to continue. Given that, and given how busy my schedule is since the birth of my daughter, I haven't had the time to devote to it.

2No idea. People higher up the food chain than me would have to decide things like, would it pick up where we left off, or be set way in the future, or what? Without knowing that, impossible to speculate on a plot.

3Boneheads of Voodoo Island was a "working title" for BIONICLE before a final name was decided upon. That's very common -- I once worked on a sci-fi game called Shatterzone and our working title for it was "Dogs in Space," even though there were no dogs in the story. It helps so that if you are at a convention or something and you need to talk to someone about the line, you aren't going to leak the real name where someone might overhear it.
4I did not write the story for HF, so I have no idea if I would be writing a story if it got replaced.
1Greg, I have some concerns regarding the Makuta in BIONICLE:
21) When the abilities of Teridax were fully explained, did anyone on the story team really consider how mighty he, or any Makuta, could have become?
32) (From my personal dislike and disbelief in the way Teridax was defeated by Mata Nui) When Teridax was decapitated by that ambiguous astronomical fragment, depending on what canon you go with, did you truly believe that would have ended Teridax somehow (considering he survived being crushed by a gate), did you assume that he would have been unable to recover due to some odd circumstance, or did you not believe that would've been the end? Given the opportunity, would you have ended him differently? If so, how?
1I'm not sure if you would know the answers to these, Greg, but here goes:
2Did the second season of Exo-Force (the Golden City) really sell poorly? Or was there some other reason that the theme was cancelled so abruptly?
3Why was Dino Attack released as Dino 2010 in other countries, especially as the theme came out in 2005?
4Does LEGO know ahead of time if they are going to run a theme for several seasons?

41) Yes
52) He wasn't able to recover because he did not anticipate it happening. If he had known what was going to happen, as he did when the gate fell, he could have simply vacated the Mata Nui robot and searched for another host body. But it took him by surprise and the "brain" of the robot was destroyed by the strike, and that was where he was housed.

2Robs - You are assuming that we would resume the story from where we left off. If I were asked, that might not be my recommendation, simply because it would have been years since we ended it and a lot of current LEGO kids would not remember any of the old story. Expecting them to catch up on 10 years of story in order to enjoy BIONICLE would probably be a kiss of death for the line.
