2Did the second season of Exo-Force (the Golden City) really sell poorly? Or was there some other reason that the theme was cancelled so abruptly?
3Why was Dino Attack released as Dino 2010 in other countries, especially as the theme came out in 2005?
4Does LEGO know ahead of time if they are going to run a theme for several seasons?
51) I don't have sales info for Exo.
62) It was a violence issue. Dino Attack in the US was much more about defeating the dinosaurs, where Dino 2010 was more about capturing them. The Dino 2010 sets were different in many ways from the Dino Attack sets. As for the numbering, the dino attack was not supposed to have happened in the present, day, that is what we used 2010.;
73) Nine times out of 10, yes. The number of years a line will run is usually planned out from the beginning, and it is unusual for that to change. If a line doesn't do well, it might end early, though I have not seen that happen too often; and if a line is super-successful, like Ninjago or BIONICLE, it might last longer than originally planned.

8No idea why it was canceled then, I suppose?
9Hmm. Makes sense.
10Was Ninjago really supposed to end after the third season?

111) No
122) It was originally scheduled to be a three-year line.
brickbuilder_chris wrote:1Hello, there. Two things: Will you have anything to do with the LEGO Movie? What happened to the Krahka's species? Also, how far ahead do you plan out the BIONICLE story? I remember reading the BIONICLE guide book, and it mentioned Rahi and Marvah when I was a little kid. I was wondering about him for a bit, and totally forgot him. And then you mentioned him in the end of The Powers that Be, and I was stunned. Though a better example would probably be the Bohrok. I think they mentioned how the Bohrok might have been more than just Krana at one point, and the Toa also noticed how they didn't try to attack the villagers. When I found out what their true purpose was, and where they came from, my mouth was left hanging open for a couple of seconds.
21) No, I had nothing to do with the movie. 2) Hasn't been revealed. 3) Firm plans were usually done about two years ahead of time, for main story. But a lot of the stuff I did in the books I came up with on the spur of the moment.

2Is it ever tiring responding to all of your fans?
3No. Back when BIONICLE was active, sometimes I would answer 500 questions a day, so this is not all that hard.
4Awesome! Is bioniclestory.com ever going to come back? Could it be moved to a different domain? If not, is there any way to access it?

131) Okay, thanks.
142) Huh... I suppose that's what the break was for.
153) Did you write the Exo-Force comics? And if they contradict each other, which would be canon.

5I don't know of any plans to bring it back, since the line is no longer active.

16Which comics are you referring to? I probably did a few for LEGO Magazine and Daniel Lipkowitz did some too. I'm not aware of there being others.
