Cole has a sister Lloyds dating her? When did this happen?

The only reference I have seen to this is is on the LMB. I am not aware of such a character showing up in the TV series.

I did some checking on this. This is a rumor that started with a Wikipedia entry that claimed his sister was going to be a character in 2014 TV episodes. The reference was later deleted from the entry because it had no basis in fact. I can tell you that no one who has actually read these scripts is going to be posting details on Wikipedia, because they would get fired if they did.

1) I am doing it here and there, but I don't want to make a habit of it, partially because after so many years I don't want to add things that end up making no sense.

2) On your PS, I actually find that prospect intriguing and would like to talk more about it.

Thank you for answering!

1. So, if I understand it correctly, you partially don't want to do it beause you're not in the habit of thinking in Bionicle terms, and you might forget what "made sense" back then?

2. I would like to discuss this as well -

So, I've been thinking about Velika's motives for such an action. My basic idea is that giving them sentience would disrupt the effect of the robot. If I may use your "toaster" analogy - if you gave the components of a toaster sentience, they would start thinking such things as "Hey! What am I doing here?" and "I don't like my job! I want a break!". Does this make sense?

Also, how exactly would Velika have made the Matoran sentient? My thinking is that he developed a program of some sort, and then installed it into the Matoran manufacturing devices. If this is the case, though, how could he have made existing Matoran sentient?

My final thought is this: Once the matoran had gained sentience and stopped working according to plan, wouldn't the Great Beings have known? To explain this further - wouldn't the Mata Nui robot have had a kind of tracking/update device installed, so that the great Beings could monitor its progress? If not, then my point is moot, but it does seem a bit odd to me to send such a robot out and not try to keep tabs on it remotely.

Thanks again,

   Firox

P.S. I listened to your interview with The Three Virtues a while back, and I'd like to thank you for stepping up and doing that for the fans. The interview was great to listen to. Smile And thank you for mentioning the Velika theory there as well.

I'm going to repost these, since I think they got sort of buried in all the questions over the weekend.

In Sahmad's Tale, Chapter 7, Annona fought the Golden Being in the Skakdi fortress and drove the Skakdi mad by feasting on their dreams. The Golden Being then accidentally granted their maddened wishes, which dissolved the fortress and caused strange creatures and things to appear all around. My questions pertain to that event.

1. What happened to the Toa Mahri during all this? Were they freed from the Golden Being's brainwashing due to the confusion it went through? Or, if they were not freed, how did they respond to their masters being driven mad?

2. With Annona gone and the excitement over, has the Golden Being recreated the Skakdi fortress?

3. Sahmad helped restore the Skakdi's ability to dream, reversing their madness. But what happened to the freakish things spawned by their insane wishes? Are those still roaming Spherus Magna?

Thank you for your time.

So greg, how come you didn't put out the movie that took place after the Legend Reborn? Because It whould have bean EPIC, I mean, come on, no Epic gient robot battle?

Once the toy line got cancelled, there was no point in making more movies. The movies existed, in part, to help promote interest in the toys - so spending the money to produce it to promote a cancelled line really wouldn't have made much sense.

Ya, but Bionicle could have had one more year to finish nup the story.

Another batch of Bionicle questions for your viewing pleasure!

1) Did Velika have any sort of bond with the other members of the Voya Nui resistance team (and the matoran of Voya nui in general?)

2) Could a great being hide himself  from the Ignika

3) Was Mata Nui a target of Velika?

4) Are there any sapient species on Spherus Magna besides those previously introduced (after all, Spherus Magna must be massive if it dwarfs the size of the MU

5) Did the Order of Mata Nui have any double agents in the Brotherhood during their war?

6) Is Mata Nui an actual spirit or an AI? I don't believe an AI can just leave a body when the body dies after all.

7) Was Mata Nui closer to Teridax than the other Makuta, or was he just not real attatched to any of them?

8) Are there more Agori/Glatorian Tribes somewhere on Spherus Magna that haven't been introduced (or were there others in the past?)

9) Were the 3 virtues created by the Great Beings just for MU inhabitants, or was it a sort of creed that they followed?

10) Considering how Ackar is considered to be an old Glatorian and Kiina is considered to be a new, yet both were around during the Core War (aka before Mata Nui, which is at least 100,000 years), how many years is considered "old" for a Glatorian?

And finally,

11) Does Energized Protodermis have control over what it transforms and what it destroys?

As always, thank you for your time!

1) Doubt it

2) Probably not

3) I don't think so. His goal is to rule Spherus Magna, and he knew if SM got restored, MN would no longer be a factor.

4) Possible

5) Not that I know of

6) Why not? We can send data wirelessly in our world.

7) He had no reason to be attached to them.

8) Yes

9) They were part of the programming

10) Hard to say, as we never determined their normal lifespan

11) No.

The plan was to do three movies, so we would have really needed two years, and with set sales declining, it made no sense for LEGO to do that.

Greg, you have now confirmed there are tribes on Spherus Magna which we never saw in main story. This is exciting news! My questions pertain to this new development.

1. If I'm reading your replies correctly, you seem to have said that the Glatorian Tera (a character who was intended for BIONICLE #5) was going to be a member of the Earth Tribe. Is this mysterious "Earth Tribe" one of the tribes we never saw?

2. If there does exist an Earth Tribe on Spherus Magna, in which sorts of regions would they reside? Would it be reasonable to assume that they had some dominion over subterranean tunnels, or is that off-base? Out of Bara Magna and Bota Magna, would they have greater numbers on Bota Magna?

Thank you for your time, as always.

Hi, Greg!

Are you and the others working for LEGO behind the scenes aware of  Decool?

Mr Farshtey,

1. Why are the makuta cinsidered Mata Nui's brothers and sisters if he created them? And wouldn't that make the makuta Mata Nui's theoritical children?

2. Could the Mask of Life/Mata Nui bring Mataro back to life?

3. You said that the iron tribes colors were dark blue and silver, so could an agori/glatorian of iron or water be mistaken for one another?

4. Alot of LEGO themes fallow the same basic storyline, a set group of heroes (4-6 normaly), who each represent a color or element, have a prefered weapon, a sensai or teacher who trains/creates them, and a main antagonist that is in some way related to the sensai or teacher, is this intentonal?

5. Are toa of fire allways the team leader?

6. Who is the deputy leader of the Piraka?

7.Who is your favorite barraki?

8. Why did you replace sand with earth/dirt? is it because toa of Sstone have tan armor?

Can you quote more power (Like the Quick Healing) ?

And besides of that, I have a question about Vakama : he always had visions since his creation, or this faculty manifested itself since the Legends Of Metru Nui period ?

1) Yes

2) Yes, Bota Magna, but I see them more as being farmers than cave/tunnel dwellers

I have seen it mentioned on the boards, but I would think this is something our Legal dept. is already aware of since we have offices in France.

1) They are considered his brothers for the same reason firefighters are all considered borthers and sisters -- because they were supposed to have the same goal, protection of the Matoran.

2) I would say no.There is nothing left to revive. His body is gone and his energy was part of the Mata Nui robot.

3) No

4) Element-based play seems to work well for us, and it is very common in fiction for the villain to be related in some way to the hero or heroes

5) No, some teams do not even have a Toa of Fire.

6) I don't think we ever named one

7) Too long ago to remember

8) Sand was never an element in Mata Nui, so we did not replace it. It did not exist to be replaced.

As far as Vakama goes I think he always did.

As for powers, I will try to find you something next week. I am on vacation this week.
