Hey, Greg.

1) Another question about The Powers That Be, about the following passage:

“I had not thought of the star in so long,” Gaardus continued. “Not since the death of the Nynrah. The star was why I stayed in the Nynrah’s village for so long after my escape. Now I wonder if what I was waiting for was up there, not down among the land and water.”

Does Gaardus mean that he was waiting for the Nynrah he killed to be sent back down so that he could kill them again, and they never came because they got stuck up there? And if so, are the Nynrah he killed still up there?

2) Is Velika willing to sacrifice innocents to achieve his plan? The building he was planning to destroy to kill Helryx, Tuyet, Artakha, etc also had people like Hafu and Kapura, who certainly weren't powerful threats in any way.

3) What was Velika's plan for the Vorox? He gave Kabrua a device that can shut off Toa powers, for example. What did he plan to use the Vorox for?

4) Is Tahu more powerful now than he was as a Toa Nuva?

5) Who was your favorite Toa team to write about?

6) Do you particularly enjoy writing alternate dimension stories? If so, why?

Thanks for your time and patience!

1) Yes, and yes.

2) Oh yes. Can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.

3) Shock troops

4) Yes

5) Probably the Metru, because they had no clue what they were doing.

6) Yes, because there are no rules to them. From the beginning, the BIONICLE universe had a lot of rules to it, and more as time went on. When you go to an alt., rules go out the window and you can make up whatever ones you want. So there is a lot of freedom.

Are set form of the Toa (or any other BIONICLE for that matter) EXACT depictions of their appearance? I mean, did Pohatu really have different legs from Vakama or Kongu?

Well, they are the appearance we had to work with. If there is a more accurate depiction, I am not aware of it.

Hey Greg:

1) How did you guys plan to have Mata Nui and his gang get from Bara Magna to Bota Magna for the planned 5th movie? were they going to stumble upon a GB spacecraft? Were they going to be teleported to Bota Magna? Maybe a portal?

2) Where did the Great Beings go after the Shattering occured? We know that they went into hiding, but did they ALL go into underground bunkers like Angonce did?  Did they leave the planet via spacecraft, and travel to one of the other habited planets in the system?

3) Who has better heat resistance--Ta Matoran or Su-matoran?

4) The answer to this question is kind of obvious, but Spherus Magna is FAR larger than Earth, yes?

5) If so, does that mean the gravity on Spherus Magna is far greater than that of Earth's as well?

6) Could a Toa of Plasma form objects like weapons out of his plasma?

7) Plasma is probably the most dangerous element. How would a Toa knock out an opponent using plasma without killing them?

1) They were going to use a craft launched by the force of an erupting volcano.

2) I can tell you there was no intent for them to have left the planet. They would have been somewhere on Spherus Magna.

3) Su-Matoran

4) Yes

5) I'd assume so

6) If he was really skilled, yes

7) Surround them with a ring of it and let the sheer heat overcome them.

Another question for you:

If Bionicle does return, what would you like to see happen with the story? A reboot? A new plot with old charcters? A new story completely?

OK, I have a few more questions for you.

  1. Could an Iden user possess an Undead Mask of Undeath user? As in, after the MoU is activated? I mean, I know that Iden users can't possess living beings...but the Mask of Undeath basically turns the user into a zombie, with no free will, except for it's previous objective in life. As far as we know, that could be to eat an exotic fruit or something like that.
  2. So, there's the Matatu, the Garai, the Kraahkan and the Avohkii, and you have said yourself that there could be a Mask of "Freeze", which would be Ice. So, is there a Mask for every element? Mask of Fire, Mask of Air, ETC?
  3. Is it possible to PAINT Kanohi? So that way, no matter which element the user belongs to, it would be the color of the paint?
  4. If someone managed to make an Olmak Nuva, what powers would it have? After all, it's power can work for several people, as it opens portals. Would it just become more powerful?
  5. If Bionicle did come back, hypothetically, would it use the Hero Factory system, or go back to the Technic?

Why can you not post there?

Also here are a few questions

Would it be possible for Female Rahkshi to exist?

If bionicle WERE to return, NOT as a reboot, but it continued, do you think that it is possible for say Velika or a great being to create a Nui Stone, and after "burrowing" the Mask of Creation and with the Antidermis Pool along with some EP to re-create the Makuta Species? And all of them are re-created but Teridax would become less ambitious so as to trust his fellow Makuta and NOT eradicate them all? Because i do not see a TRUE BIONICLE without a Makuta or two in it.

Plus my self moc is a Makuta...so i am kind of attachted to them.

1) LEGO policy is that we cannot post on a non-LEGO site where there are kids under 13 present. BZP has no age verification system to be able to tell what age their members are, so I can't post there.

2) Although I am sure we have referred to Rahkshi as "he" at some point, we really never thought of the kraata as having genders.

3) Impossible to predict what it might look like if it came back. That would be up to the story team.

1. Oh okay.

2. Okay, because i know there are many fanon characters of female rahkshi, thus i was wondering.

3. Okay.

I have some more questions. Just adding on to one of my previous questions, I have just remembered that half the Makuta were blinded, and that they couldn't escape. I still really don't like the fact that they were killed off, but enough of that.

1: What is your least favorite character to write about? What is your most?

2: Can you confirm the rumors that Bionicle is coming back in 2015? I'm just joking. Anyways, who's your favorite Toa Mata? As a character, not as a set.

3: Although he didn't play that big of a role in the story, who's descision was it to kill off Carapar? I'm just curious. Why Carapar?

1) Least favorite is anyone who speaks treespeak. Most would probably be the villains.

2) Kopaka

3) Mine, I think. And because he was the least interesting of the Barraki, being basically strong and dumb.

1. Fav villain?

2. Me too!

3. I honestly did not like Taxadox, prefering Carapar. Who is yer fav barraki?

Hi! I've got few questions.

1: Are you working on a new NinjaGo book/comic right now?

2: Will you lose your job if you confirm the rumours about return of BIONICLE, or hint about upcoming theme?

3: Who's your favourite BIONICLE character?

4: Do you like Akhmou Happy

5: When did you visit flea store/ thrift shop last time?

OK, I know you already said you didn't know much about the Shore Turtle rahi, but I suppose if I re-word some of them maybe you could remember some stuff and give some answers.

1. In the canon game, BIONICLE: Quest for the Toa (previously, I think, Tales of the Tohunga), where Takua was collecting the Toa Stones, there were many rahi around, Fikou, Shore Turtles, ect. They were all really common. Since the Rahi on the island of Mata Nui were common, does that mean currently, the rahi of Mata Nui are common, such as the Shore Turtles?

2. In the afore mentioned canon game, you could knock off the masks of the rahi to defeat some of them, such as the Fikou. The Shore Turtle set has a mask PIECE on its back. Is that a shell? I assume it is because in said game, the masks they wore were on their heads, and not on their backs (in contrast to the Fikou). When the mask was knocked off from the head, they returned to their usual, friendly state.

3. When Voya Nui returned to its original position, did many of the rahi that lived there die? These rahi were: Visorak, Ussal, Shore Turtles, Sand Screamers, Protodax, and many many more.

4. What happened to the mutated Ussal? Is it still alive?

As I have said, I feel it could not be a resumption of the old story, because there would be too much backstory new fans would have to read up on. The important thing to remember is that, while you would want to please veteran fans, if you don't get new kids to buy the sets, any return would not succeed.

Since Marendar's prison was on Bara Magna, is Angonce on Bara Magna?

I think it got lost.

1. I remember you saying you've never seen the fourth movie, Legend Reborn yet. I forgot why, can you remind me.

2. Have you seen it yet?

3. Do you know who are TTV?

4. In the begining of TLR, along with a picture in the Mata Nui saga, there is a place in the centre of the robot where there is like an energy bubble thing, that changes to red when Makuta takes over. There are several (what I assume to be) A v-Matoran with jetpacks, all wearing Kakamas and Mirus. And in the MNS picture there are also Toa repairing things there. Where IS this place.

5. In the intro in TLR, again, the matoran are capture in red tubes, and their hands and stuck inside the machinery, the energy beam turns red, and the doors shuts and the lights out. What IS happening here?

6. In the Battle of Bara Magna, there were tons of Skakdis of Water, were there any other types of Skakdi there?

7. Could Nektaan, and other Skakdis of Water, channel their elemental water through their cresent sythes?

8. During the battle of Bara Magna, was Takanuva trying to disquise himself as a Toa of Ice?

9. Has he changed his armour color back to gold again yet?

10. Were Rahkshi of Heat Vision shorter?

11. Were AM and BotaM moons of BM? As in, they revolved around the planet?

12. Did both planets have their own moons?

13. Can you confirm that it was A MOON OF BOTA MAGNA, that  hit Makuta? Everyone is convinced its a moon of Aqua Magna/Aqua Magna or the entire Bota Magna.

These got lost.

1. In the Mata Nui Saga, one picture showed him in space analyzing planets. Several holograms are in the picture, one looks like some dinosaur lizard, another like a tribal human, another like the cyroshell logo Joking, one like a jellyfish, and a couple others I can't make out. Are these the inhabitants of other planets that Mata Nui discovered?

2. Whose idea was it to make a Chat with Greg Farshtey topic?

3. How do you remember to answer questions everyday?

4. How long on average does it take you to answers one question?

I think these got lost.

1) Comes down to, does the undead being have a spirit in him or not? If he does not, then yes, an Iden user could take control of the body. Does having even the rudimentary intellect to pursue a goal necessitate a presence of spirit or no?

2) Theoretically, yes. Doesn't mean they existed in the universe.

3) I suppose you could paint anything, but why would you want to?

4) If you could share the power, then you could open a portal to one place, the person next to you could open a portal to a second place, etc.

5) That would be up to the set designers, so no idea.

Oh also, a skrall is also beside Berix and Gresh in another picture  where Mata Nui is talking in Raanu. Is that the same friendly Skrall as well?

In that picture, Berix is holding his shield, as well as that weird tube thing in his hand, but no sword. What is that weird tube thing, why does it connect to his back.

Why didn't Berix have his weapons that came in the set in the movie?

These got lost.
