Now since you can't finish them, can I do it for you ?(Do not reply to the strike through, as I now seem to consider it a side-conversation)
3What was the most favorite character to write when you where working on Bionicle?
4Some Dark Hunters remain as just a description, and no art was revealed for them. Is there by any chance, that a contest will be held to determine the looks of the Dark Hunters?
5Will the Golden Being be de-fused in the future?
6Thanks,
71) Probably too many to choose from
82) Not unless BIONICLE comes back. Otherwise, no reason to have an official BIONICLE contest
93) Again, right now there are no plans to resume the serials.

2I had a question about Kopaka character development. From the time he was introduced in BIONICLE to the time where he is in the Red Star, how comfortable is Kopaka with interacting with others and more specifically with his own team. I remember an instance early on where it said that although Kopaka had something important to say, he would not say it because he was "anti social" to per say. This was him back on Mata Nui, now that he has been through so much with his team and learnt to appreciate Unity, would Kopaka contribute to a conversation with his teammates (or anyone he trusts) when he feels that he has some valuable information and not withhold it as he did earlier?
3Thank You,
4I always saw Kopaka as similar to Batman in the Justice League. He knows he has a role to play on the team, but he is not comfortable working with a group. He would rather work on his own and thinks there are things he can handle better on his own.

Basically, are you pleased with BIONICLE as it is, whether it will be continued or not?3And, given the opportunity, if BIONICLE were to continue, regardless for how long and in what form, would you finish the story, or let it continue to go on, why would you go with that decision, and how would feel about the decision you have chosen, whether or not it gets implemented?
41) Oh, I was blown away by it. You know, the initial plan was for it to last a year, and I remember thinking, why would you cut this off after a year? It's so good.
52) Overall, yes. I did not agree with every story development that happened, but overall I think we built something people cared about.
63) My guess would be that if it did come back, it would not come back from where it left off. That would be asking kids to try to remember something from 2009, and a lot of them would have been too young then to remember it. If it was done again, it would probably be a reboot.

2The Ninjago series is coming back, yes, but I cannot discuss plot plans.

2Could you please tell me who were the members of the BIONICLE Story Team? If you can't say names then their jobs would also help.
3thank you very much
4It did change somewhat over the years, but here is the main team from the peak years:
5Bob Thompson, from LEGO Company's media arm and one of the guiding forces behind the line (2000 until around 2005)
6Leah Weston Kaae - web producer
7Christoffer Raundahl - lead set designer
8Christian Faber - designer of the story art and the environments, among other things
9We had other people who served for shorter periods of time, like Kelly McKiernan who took over for Leah when she moved onto other projects.
ToaOnamax wrote:1So, at long last I have the chance to ask a question that has been bugging me for years. By far, this may be THE most important question anyone can ask here. Greg, will you continue the Bionicle storyline? Or rather, are you allowed to continue it. With the cancleation of Bioniclestory.com, is there even a place where you can write more? This story, has you well know, needs an end, and only you can make it. I really hope the story can end in the way it deserves. Thank you for your time, Greg. Take care, and god bless.
2At this point, I have no plans to. No one at LEGO Company has asked me to do so, and as you point out, there is no official place to do it. Right now, I am wrapped up in doing Ninjago and Chima work and on my day job, so I don't have the spare time to do it unless it becomes a priority for the company again.
sillyfrog300 wrote:1Since BionicleStory.com has been taken down, where will BIONICLE story serials be released? Will you start a Blog like Faber or will you post it on these forums?
2Or, and be brutally honest here, do you simply not intend to release any further story at all?
31) I have no plans to do more work on them unless the company asks me to. Right now, BIONICLE is not a priority for LEGO Company since there are no new sets planned. My time is taken up with my day job, taking care of my daughter, and doing the odd bit of freelance I get here and there. So I really have very little spare time.
jordanloveslegos wrote:1Mr. Greg, I have sme questions about the Mata Nui Robot. So if the island of Mata Nui is the face of the robot, is Metru Nui under ground since its the brain? And also, where does Voia Nui (pardon the spelling) fit in to robots anatomy? Because I assume Carda Nui was the Robots heart. Which now that I think about it since Carda sounds a WHOLE lot like cardiac.
21) Yes
32) Remember that Karda Nui had a hole in the top through which water was coming in, and which was sealed when Voya Nui returned where it came from. That should tell you where Voya Nui belonged.

2Well, I have some questions on both Bionicle and Ninjago.
3Bionicle questions
4---------------------------
51. Are you able to tell us what kanohi masks Toa Zaria and Toa Orde have?
62. What Toa Tools do the Yesterday Quest Toa have?
73. What does the Skakdi Fusion call itself?
84. Have some of the characters who have been resurected in the Red Star been killed by the Kestora? And if so, which ones?
9Ninjago Questions
10---------------------------
111. Why couldn't Lloyd remember the Mega weapon while the other ninja could? Does this mean that the events of Garmadon and the Mega weapon never happened?
122. Have the serpentine been killed by the Stone army in that chamber?
131-4) Unfortunately, since it has been almost four years since I did any BIONICLE work, it is not fresh in my mind.
141-2) These questions seem to relate to the TV series, and I don't work on that.
nicholas7846 wrote:1Dear ,Greg (or ScribeGT as that is your username)
2 I like your stories very much and so do my brothers (All 3 of them) they have great plot detail and wonderfully portray the characters emotions. And still I have notices 1 problem with your novels: They have no flow. Like they were written by someone who was more used to writing thing such as text books, or encyclopedias. Not a HUGE problem, in fact quite minor, just wanted to point that out, still great books.
3Well, I have to disagree. If they had no "flow," they would not have been as popular as they were. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, and since I do not know how you define "flow," it's impossible for me to give you a better answer. Can you give specific examples?
scottster9 wrote:1Thanks for answering my questions, Greg! I have a few more:
21) Since you're not on the Ninjago story team, how much information do you get about the characters and major story events before you write Ninjago stories?
32) Now that you're not responsible for conveying the main story of Ninjago, Legends of Chima, or Hero Factory like you were with BIONICLE, how do you decide what stories you want to tell in your books?
43) The timeline placement of the fourth Ninjago graphic novel is kind of confusing. Does it take place before Pythor is released and Lloyd joins the Ninja, or after?
54) Do you watch the Ninjago TV show? What do you think of it?
65) Other than the graphic novels, what was your favorite Ninjago story to write?
76) Did you write Lloyd Garmadon's Blog for the LEGO Club website? If not, who did? I ask because I know you've done features for the LEGO Club website before. I was sad when that only got two or so chapters.
87) Your daughter's two years old now. Have you introduced her to LEGO Duplo yet, and if not, are you planning to?
98) Do you enjoy seeing your prose stories illustrated, like the BIONICLE young readers books or your Ninjago and Chima stories?
109) Since BIONICLE ended, what kinds of things have you written for the LEGO Group that might surprise people?
111) I see the TV scripts
122) I am creating side stories, much like I did for some of the BIONICLE books
133) These are not always intended to fit someplace specific in the TV series timeline.
144) Yes, I like it
155) I haven't written a non-graphic novel Ninjago story in ages, so really don't remember them
166) No, I didn't
177) Yes, she plays with DUPLO sometimes, but right now she is more into coloring and toy cars
188) Yes
199) I can't think of anything that would surprise anyone.

2You may not like this question, but I really want to ask it. There have been many epic 1 v 1 battles in the BIONICLE story. Takanuva vs. Makuta, The Shadowed One vs. Makuta, and Axonn vs. Brutaka are all great examples of epic battles. So my question is this: THEORETICALLY, which two characters that have never fought before would you like to see fight the most?
3Thanks!
4p.s. I love you.
5Tahtorak and one of the bio-mechancial dinosaurs we were going to introduce in 2011.
Ackar_Glatorian wrote:1Have you given up on bionicle? Was it your choice to close bioniclestory.com?Will you help direct the ninjago TV show?
21) There is nothing really to give up on - the line ended and I have to focus on stuff LEGO needs me to do now.
32) No, I don't have a voice in what LEGO websites open or close
43) I have nothing to do with the TV series.
