1Mr Farshtey, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.

2Was Gahlok-Kal's body completely crushed by the Exo-Toa parts?  Or was it simply incapacitated; if you cleared away the Exo-Toa pieces, would there be an intact Bohrok body there, or would it be damaged beyond repair?  Thank you again!

2Hi,

3To my knowledge, we have never identified the GBs as being a separate species. It's more a job description than a species designation.

1Hey, Greg!

2Can you give us any other ideas you have for sets?

3I don't come up with set ideas, Mater, that's not my job.

1Hi greg. A few questions

21. If you could make absolutely any five non created characters in set form, have a set form, who would it be?

32. Do you like Seafood and Pizza?

43. Where do you stand on Ice Cream

1How was Takanuva at the end of Mask of Light

2Sorry. Forgot a word. Ahem. How was Takanuva resurected at the end of Mask of Light.

3I wish I could give you a great answer. But the simple fact is, the people behind the making of the movie never bothered to explain just what the heck they were doing in that scene and there was nothing in the script to explain it either.

4Well, can't you/we just try to find a possible explanation for what happened, and go with that? It would be a shame if these old events would go unexplained forever.

5Just throwing another question in: For any differences between the first movie and its novelization by Hapka, which one has precedence?

61) Marvel used to do something called a "no prize." Basically,if something was wrong or left out in a story, readers were invited to provide explanations for it.

72) Movie version takes precedence. Movie novelizations are based on scripts which may not be the final version of the script, which is why you see differences.

8Okay, I think I have an explanation. The turaga were able to pool the lifeforce of everyone in the circle, and used that to resserect Takanuva, similar to how Jaller was resseected.

1 What if we say that the Red Star was partially working at that point in time, but it glitched again and instead of sending Takanuva to the Red Star it sent him back to Mangaia? (Because technically Mangaia is within the Mata Nui Robot, so the Red Star would search for Takanuva once he died).

9I don't recall that as being the explanation for how Jaller came back, though.

2I don't understand your explanation. The red star glitched and instead of sending him to the red star it sent him to Mangaia? But if he never gets sent to the red star, he can't be brought back by it.

62) I love some seafood ... I like pizza and ice cream, but being diabetic, cannot eat too much of it.

2Okay, I've been discussing this with a few fellow fans, we came up with several theories and this is the one that seemed to make the most sense to us:

3The Avohkii still had some Toa energy from Takua's transformation left, which was used to power a safeguard mechanism: The Avohkii can "absorb" its wearer's consciousness and body, and restore it later. This mechanism works only once, because it uses up the rest of the Toa energy. Artakha created this mechanism as a protection, because of how important the Toa of Light is. Or possibly even because he foresaw his fusion to Takutanuva and this was the safest/only way to restore the Toa of Light from his fused state.

4What do you think about this theory?

5Got buried.

6I am concerned it is a bit of a stretch, simply because it really  makes the Avohkii way more than a Great Mask. Other masks cannot bring their wearers back from the dead.

7A simpler explanation is that, for a brief time, the red star teleportation system was working before it broke again.

8Well, it wouldn't necessarily bring him back from the dead, but absorb him in order to protect him from dying in the first place. Or alternatively, absorb him "out of" Takutanuva, because that's the only way to unfuse Takutanuva.

9We've also discussed the involvement of the Red Star, but Tak(ut)anuva was crushed by the gate, and with no body left, the RS cannot revive him. Also, in the movie, I think it was only like 30 seconds from Takutanuva's death to Takanuva's apparent revival - would that actually be enough time for teleporting his dead body to the RS, reviving him and teleporting him back to the MU?

10This got buried.

9I assume that channelling your lifeforce to revive someone was one of Takutanuva's special abilities. If everyone could do it, wouldn't revivals be a much more common thing in the Matoran Universe?

2He would have been revived on the Red Star. If the teleportation system had teleported him to Mangaia instead of the Red Star, the movie would have ended with Takanuva's dead body appearing out of nowhere, not with his apparent revival. Also, as I said before, Takutanuva was crushed under the gate, so there shouldn't have been any body left to revive on the Red Star. Or, if Takutanuva unfused before, and Takanuva was not crushed by the game... then he wouldn't have been dead, and the Red Star wouldn't interact with him either.

1Hi Greg!

2This is something that I never really understood: Where did Vakama's visions come from? Well, I know that he had visions because his AI was glitched, so I should rather ask: Where did the information he saw in those visions come from? Was it all just in his mind, so did he just dream it up by himself, or was he actually "connected" somehow to Mata Nui's AI and/or other people's AIs and could receive messages/information from them?

3Hi Greg, I think this got buried.

4They were never explained in story bible.

5So, are you going to leave it that way, or would you be willing to make a choice and canonize it? I don't think there is a "right" or "wrong" answer to this - either it was all just in his head and the Toa Metru were just lucky, or Vakama indeed did receive information from other AIs. (HeroraNui also made a good point in favor of the latter, on page 622 of this topic.) However, it is an old mystery that has been unexplained for 11 years, so it would be nice to have an official explanation.
