11) I liked them both, but I think Tennant had better stories overall. While he suffered some from the decision to try to make the Doctor a tragic romantic lead, Smith really suffered because the showrunner thinks the show is supposed to be about the companions, not the Doctor. It ended up turning into the Amy and Rory show.

22) I can't speak to why decisions got made as far as G2 goes, because I had no hand in any of them. That said ... I would not have recommended picking up where the old story left off. You would have been asking new fans (many of whom were 3 when BIONICLE ended) to catch up on nine years of story to get into it now. That's a lot to ask.

3i think it could have easily been done. just look at legend of korra. that show takes place in the future of avatar the last airbender, which was the original series. it's in the same universe, a continuation of the old story, and also original enough to work as a stand-alone. the same thing really could have been done with bionicle. start in the far future with new atero, and some conflict arises with some villian. cue classic kopaka, gali, tahu, etc. go to fight the new evil. other story years would involve re-releasing the (updated) sets of the other toa. instant profit from old bionicle fans, and also instant profit from new bionicle fans as well.

4Avatar wasn't has complicated and didn't have a that long storyline, being only 4 years of only a tv series. It's also generaly the same audince.

5Bionicle lasted for 9 years with books, movies, serials, comics, aswell as minor information from other media, including this message board topic. It's been 5 years since that storyline. A portion of the targeted audince of the reboot weren't even born when the original story started.

6Watching rewatching a TV series is easy. I've rewatched series with 10 seasons, 22 episodes each. Takes about 2 weeks but Bionicle was a multi-media franchise.

1 Hey Greg, I thought you might like a break from the Bionicle related questions.
21. What do you do in your free time?32. What's your opinion on the works of JRR Tolkein?

1Are you going to help with the new Bionicle cannon? If so, GO FOR IT!

2No, I haven't had any involvement at all with new BIONICLE since September of 2014 and don't foresee that will change.

41) Primarily take care of my daughter.

52) Haven't read them. I was never a big fan of high fantasy.

7Only thing I would add here is that no one in the target audience was born when BIONICLE started in 2001. The target audience for this line is not 14 year olds.

62. What types of things do you like to read, then?

1I have a couple of questions.

21. When the Toa Metru sailed the Lhikan from Metru Nui to Mata Nui, they used a subterranean river. The problem is that Mata Nui is above Mata Nui. How could they possibly travel "up" a river where the surface of the water was level? Was it some kind of function of the robot involving gravity or something?

32. Is it remotely possible that someone survived the Order's purge of anyone who knew how to get to Artakha? For example, someone who knew, but never told anyone they knew.

43. If Antidermis isn't Protodermis-based, is it made of something else found on Spherus Magna, or is it a totally synthetic material?

54. It was mentioned somewhere that there were still Pit prisoners loose in the waters of Aqua Magna (noted by Teridax in Reign of Shadows, I believe). Did any of them survive the reformation of the planet?

65. Did Teridax maybe create any of the Rahi he used the most on Mata Nui? IE Nui-Rama, Nui-Jaga, Tarakava, Muaka, Kane-Ra, and Manas.

76. When Helryx and Keetongu found the EP source in Destiny War, the place was crawling with beings that looked halfway between Matoran and Rahi. I've seen various theorires as to what these creatures were, anything from them being Agori, Glatorian, and even humans. What were they? Simply mutants?

87. You can't forge an Aki or Rua, correct? You have to merge the Kanohi by forming a Kaita, right?

98. Can Kanohi Nuva be forged as Kanohi Nuva, without having to be exposed to EP?

109. You said that the golden armor replaced Tahu's Adaptive Armor. Does the golden armor also have the ability to adapt to environment?

1110. There are only 3 Legendary Masks in existence, right?

1210b. Are there any possible/potential Legendary Masks that haven't been made yet?

13Thank you.

1I have a variety of questions nessiscary for expanding my own personal fanon. I'd appreciate any answers you could give my to make it more believeable Wink

  1. 2Was the 'Elemental inhibitor' Velika gave to Kabrua in any wat linked to Marender?
  2. 3Would it be in Velika's personality to immedietly immolate the beings he had trapped in the fortress of the Insane GB, or would he rather show his hand first, and cherish the looks of surprise on their faces? Joking
  3. 4What is the current status of the Sisters of the Skrall?
  4. 5Were there any other substances in the Great Spirit Robot that supplied power besides EP?
  5. 6After teridax's GSR fell, was it at all still inhabitable, despite massive destruction? Would the artificial gravity still function?
  6. 7Is it plausible for the barraki to raise an army after teridax's fall to conquer SM?
  7. 8Is it plausible that Makuta Teridax had reserves of Antidermis somewhere that survived?
  8. 9Were there more of Annona's species, or was she one of a kind?
  9. 10Does the Energized Protodermis Entity represent any being native to SM?
  10. 11What is the Origin of Energized protodermis? How did it gain sentience? Is it considered a 'native species' to Spherus Magna alongside Annona?
  11. 12If I recall correctly, you stated there were just under 20 Great beings. There are about 18 differant elements in Canon Bionicle. Is there any correlation between this? (I.E. are GBs specifically attuned to a specific element?)
  12. 13Is there more of the GB race somewhere in the universe, or are they the last of their kind?
  13. 14Do Great beings have any equals on Spherus Magna? Is the EP Entity considered their equivelant?
  14. 15Is tehre a correlation between Tren krom and Annona's similar appearance?

16That's all for now, I look forward to your answers! Happy

1 Hey Greg, its a pleasure to meet you. Happy
2Was there anything in the Bionicle G1 universe that you would change?
1 This might be a very dumb question, but why do matoran have different genders if there is no need for them to reproduce? (That was bugging me since 2006.)

1Hi Mr Farshtey, me again. I have some more questions, if that's ok.

21) What would happen if a someone used the Spear of Fusion in reverse (splitting) on a half being, like Vezon? Would they split further, or would it not have any effect?

32) How long can a Kaita or Nui maintain its form (e.g. a Toa Kaita or a Matoran Nui)? Is it until it willingly splits, or does it have a time limit?

43) Did a Matoran Kaita or Nui have any Elemental Powers, or would it still lack them?

54) Is a Turaga Kaita or Nui possible? How powerful would they be in reference to a Toa?

65) Who or what assigned a Matoran's name upon creation?

76) If you could be any BIONICLE species, what would you be?

8Buried
