2Say Greg, what do you think a Bionicle reboot really needs? What do you think are the key factors of Bionicle? A reboot could just be about another race of biomechanical beings created by the Great Beings on another planet in the universe. That way you don't even need the Agori. A reboot could also be another adventure or story line on the planet Spherus Magna. That way you don't even need Toa or other Matoran Universe inhabitants. Or it could be about the Mata Nui robot, with all concepts, fail safes, species, backups, mask powers, elements and technologie created by the Great Beings.
3So what do you think is really necessary to call something part of 'Bionicle'? I'd really like to hear that from you!
4I think it needs obvious connections to the existing universe. I don't think that means it has to reference the Great Beings, necessarily, but it should have bio-mechanical beings in it and it needs to have some kind of a big mystery to it.

91) No idea.102) Well, since Universe doesn't exist anymore, I am not sure you have to worry that much about sticking to canon since there is no canon to stick to now.113) For a short time, yes124) It's hard to say -- quality, yes, but feel could be different depending on what direction LEGO Company wanted to take the property.135) I never created any characters that got rejected.14Well, what if (thinking hypothetically) LEGO were to bring back Bionicle and consult you?
15And @ 2.): I mean the 2010-2012 canon.
16Thanks, Greg (it's okay if I call you that, right?) for letting us chat with you on this topic.171) Well, I would certainly love to be involved in a return of BIONICLE, but I think if I were to do it, it would need to be a reboot in some respect. You can't pick up where you left off, because there is too much backstory for new fans to learn. So I think you would need to at the least do a time jump into the future.
18Could you please help me with question 2, Greg?19Is that the Universe question? I never played Universe so I don't really know the story at all.
20Well, just a writing tip or two on sticking, or at least seeming like sticking to any canon in general is welcome If you'd like to know the Story, I can tell you.
21Well, you obviously need familiarity with the canon, and I think familiarity with the kinds of stories the company that owns that universe tells. If you tell a LEGO Universe story that is full of stuf that LEGO Company would obviously never do then even if you don't contradict anything known, people will not think of it as canon.

I just wanted to get my two cents out about potential Bionicle story continuation. I would appreciate a jump to the future, as I would like my 21 and growing collection of Bionicle sets to still matter, and not be retconned by a reboot. I understand that if it is ever brought back that a reboot makes sense. But I also think with your level of talent, you could make a future jump story work even better! A decade of good work would be a shame to lose to a reboot! And I'd also hate to lose one of my favorite websites, Biosector01. So, once again I'm sorry to bother you with this, but I hope you would take it into consideration, in the event that you ever get to write more Bionicle.

4Appreciated. But a jump to the future could very well be the reboot, with none of the old characters still in existence or in that location. 5I wouldn't care much if the old characters never show up, I'd just like to know they still existed at one point in the dimension, that way all my old sets would still have relevance. I'd hate to lose all the ancient history, but I'd be fine if you never brought much up. I know the ancient history and that would be good enough for me!
1Hello, me again (probably forgot me due to thousands of fans flocking toward you... I'll try to make sure that you remember me ).
21. What was the most exciting plot twist you made in your opinion?
32. Do you remember any of what the Matoran words mean?
43. How did the Red Star shoot lightning at the Toa Inika, if it was only a machine (wait, maybe that's self explanitory... )
54. How do Spirit Stars know a Toa is a Toa?

6Mal? Your avie?
1GREG FARSHTEY! I'm back with more more questions.
- 2 Is the 3rd season coming August 2013 or December 2013?
- 3 How many Doomsday Devices are there?
- 4 I heard the creators of Ninjago and Warner Bros are making a Ninjago Movie. What will it be about?
- 5Will the Overlord ever return in the new seasons or movie?
- 6Who will be the main enemy of the new season?
- 7Will Zane be hacked?
- 8I heard that Zane had a cousin who lived with Dr. Julien after his house burned down with his parents. He later came up with a plan of an evil robot which made Dr. Julien feel how mad he was. He later ran away from Dr. Julien. Years later, he found out he was wrong and went to find Dr. Julien. He wasn't there. The only thing he had found was a blueprint that had a big printing on it saying "Zane". He kept the blueprint and vowed to find Dr. Julien that day. Is the rumor true?
- 9Will the ninja be getting new suits?
10GREG FARSHTEY, YOU ARE MY HERO!!!
21. Could you list the most powerful villain group to the least powerful, the groups: 2008 Makuta, 2007 Barraki, 2006 Pirakah, 2003, Rakshi, 2003 Bohrak Kal. By most powerfull I mean if they were in their enviroment.
32 Could you list the most powerful "Horde" like villains. from greatest to least. Visorak, Bohrack, and Vahki
43. Which were more powerful? The Toa Nuva or the Mahri.
1hey greg! my name is Daniel and i am a huge fan of bionicle. now dont worry, i am not one of those huge fanboys that keep saying BRING BIONICLE BACK!!!!! no, i am just here to tell you how good of a job you have done on your whole story of bionicle. personally, my favourite aspect of bionicle was reading the books that you wrote. my favourite books are #3: BIONICLE dark destiny, #2: BIONICLE raid on vulcanus, and lastly, #1: BIONICLE legacy of evil. to this day, that is one of my favourite books, mainly because i love seeing the scheming piraka trying to cheat each other. my question is what is your favourite books out of all the series? i have only been in the bionicle community since 2004, so i have not read all the books, but which was your facourite to write? anyways i have always been a great fan of yours, and i think that you ended bionicle the best you could. Please relpy so i know that you have gotten this message. thanks alot greg!

31-When the Bohrok-Kal were vainquished with their own powers, some Krana-Kal left their exo-shell. Do you remember which ones it was?
42-Pahrak-Kal sank into the center of Aqua Magna, where it was destroyed. Did he go through the head of Mata Nui?
51) All of them.
62) It seems, but the Great Apocalyps could already have caused some holes, these were later repaired by the Staff of Artahka.
7P.S. I'm not Greg Farshtey, Greg Farshtey is ScribeGT6817.
ScribeGT6817 wrote:1Keep in mind, though, that at the time BIONICLE got cancelled, the feeling was that the complex story had become a barrier to new people getting into the franchise, which is why set sales went down. That is why HF purposely did not have a complex story. I don't see LEGO Company going, yeah, let's inspire the new kids to go hunt down websites so they can study nine years of old story. The backstory IS complicated, that's just a fact.
2About that 9-year-old story, could LEGO ever release the books for purchased download on the internet? I can't buy them anywhere anymore, so downloading them for some money would really save my day!
