So in the Earth Tibe Story, you described the Lord of Earth with male pronouns. After a while you answered OnionShark's questions and accepted that the Lord of Earth is female.

So which is the Lord of Earth's correct gender?

Sorry, just did male pronoun by reflex.

Woah, the Earth Lord is such a pile of dirt (literally). She reminds me of Littlefinger from A Song of Ice and Fire. This story made me wonder somethings...
1) Do the ELoE and the Earth Agori feel some guilt over the war they caused?
2) When you originally revealed the Earth Tribe, the explanation for why they did not participate in the Core War was that they had a deep tie to nature and feared the outcome of the war. Now we know that it was all a lie of theirs, but are they still deeply tied to nature?
3) Again, I found contradicting answers on this thread: in one you said that the ELoE was trapped on Northern Bara Magna with the other ELs, and in another that she was trapped on Bota Magna with the rest of her tribe. Wich is the correct one?
4) You mentioned some Earth Tribe stragglers, were they Agori/Warriors who objected to the tribe "littlefingering" the others into war?
5) Would the Great Beings have figured the Earth Tribe's betrayal before the Shattering? Because Angonce reflected on the ELs and didn't mention the ELoE before the Shattering.
6) Do you think anyone would be willing to forgive the Earth Tribe if they repented?
7) I'm confused from your last answer to mrcqm... So the Earth Tribe wants to create an alliance against themselves?
Thanks

1) I think they feel bad the planet split open, yeah. As far as the war goes, no, they knew what they were doing and mainly regret it didn't work.

2) Yes

3) The latter

4) No, just Agori who happened to be in Bara Magna when the planet split

5) They know now, they probably knew at some point shortly before the Shattering

6) Nope.

7) No, what they are trying to do is foment enough dissent among the tribes to prevent a worldwide alliance against them.

I compiled various answers from different post so I would not flood the thread.

2) In Makuta’s Guide to the Universe, the Piraka are introduced with their promotional nicknames on their bios (like this: Zaktan “The Snake”, Thok “Drifter” etc...), all except Hakann, (Bully). If you want to check, the bios are on pages 33-34. So, does that mean that their promotional nicknames are their code names (with the exception of Hakann’s)?
3) How is the Fire Entity a Rahi? It's literally made of fire, it doesn't seem biomechanical to me.
4) Do the ELoE and the Earth Agori feel some guilt over the war they caused?

1) Probably if it wanted to

2) The promotional nicknames were included because they had to be, since they were part of BIONICLE marketing. Beyond that, I never liked them or tried to weave them into official canon.

3) Remember that to a Matoran, anything that isn't a species like them is a Rahi. The fire entity is very alien from a Matoran or a Skakdi or anything else they would be familiar with.

4) I think they feel bad the planet split open, yeah. As far as the war goes, no, they knew what they were doing and mainly regret it didn't work.

1) I'm curious of how the EL of Fire would do that. Joking

2) That's weird, because you were the one who wrote MGttU, it was released two years after the Piraka sets were relevant, and Hakann's name was omitted, probably because "Bully" would sound too silly.

3) So, Matoran would classify it as a Rahi, but it really isn't?

4) Why would they feel bad about the planet and not about the people? Because of their tie to nature?

2) Yes, but I was not writing in a vacuum. The things I wrote had to promote sets and tie in with marketing programs.

3) Matoran classify it as a Rahi, so we do too.

4) Because they knew going in Agori and Glatorian would get killed. That wasn't a surprise. They were promoting a war and their getting bloodied was the point. So why feel bad about it later?

3) To be fair though, Matoran classified Sea Squids, Venom Eels, and the Dark Hunter "Poison" as Rahi, even though they're not. If I remember correctly, biologically speaking, Rahi are made from Protodermis and Viruses and were biomechanical. So should we still consider the Fire Entity a Rahi even though it biologically isn't?

4) I had understood, but what I meant was that, if they didn't care about the people, why would they care about the planet?

4) Simple. The whole point was to gain control of EP. When the planet shattered, not only was it a hardship on everyone in the tribe (as a planet blowing up would be), but they lost the opportunity to get their hands on the EP.

For the 4) Basically, the planet was their home and they wrecked it. They regret it for they might have done something to prevent the destruction, but they didn't.

3) The Fire Entity was created by the Great Beings, which would tend to indicate it isn't a true Rahi. However, we would need more info to make a true judgement. (such as wether or not Great Beings were capable of manipulating viruses back then, or if they even knew of the existence of viruses).

I don't have access to quotes right now, but you once said that the Fire Entity had to have been created either by the BoM, or the GBs, and that you leaned towards the second option, and another time you said that elemental beings like the Fire Entity and the Acid Cloud were (probably) experiments of the GBs. Other than that, there's no info on the Fire Entity's creation.

6) Since the species isn't capable of interplanetary travel (assuming questions 3 and 5 are correct), how do they come to other planets? Like, how did Annona come to Spherus Magna (assuming she wasn't born there)?

7) Is this species widespread in the Solis Magna System?

4) Asexually

6) Also unknown. There may be some sort of wormhole or rift phenomenon associated with it, but I have not decided.

7) We don't know that there are other inhabited planets in this system, so I can't say yes to this. If there aren't, there would be no reason for another of the species to be on one of those other planets.

4) That makes me wonder, why is Annona considered female?

6) Will you decide someday (whatever, the boards are shutting down)

7) Actually, Mata Nui never left the SMS, and his mission required observing other planets's societies, so that would mean that Annona's species was present in the system too, right? If so, did he observe one or more during his travels?

And a new question:

8) Who was that mysterious voice that told Matoro to put on the Ignika and to Lewa to take the Sundial from Mata Nui? The Velika theory would make a lot of sense, but I recall you saying that that wasn't your intention.

This was buried.

Buried again. I'd like to add that I found one of your quotes that says the voice that spoke to Matoro was the Ignika itself:

Q) SPIRIT had asked last time who (or what) the voice was that told Matoro to put on the Ignika. You said you would get back to us on that one. Do you happen to have an answer now?

A) My feeling at the moment was that it was the Ignika itself.

If you want to check, it comes from the <removed source because I can't mention other forums according to the mods>

...But that still doesn't explain what was up with Lewa.

What color armor do Earth Tribe members have? (I really hope it's purple. Don't mean this as a reference to G2's earth characters or anything, I just like purple. Happy )

A few questions:

  1. Can a mahiki be removed from a being if they are shapeshifted into a form that does not wear kanohi? (Example: While Matau was disguised as a vahki, could he remove his mask?)
  2. If a mahiki user is in a shapeshifted form, and their mask is knocked off, do they (and the mask) revert to normal?
  3. If a mahiki user shapeshifts into a form physically capable of flight (like a gukko), can they fly?
  4. Destiny War, Chapter 7: These obviously were Rahi beasts, but not like anything she'd seen before. They were short, pale bipeds, with large yellow eyes and spindly arms and legs. They backed away and moved to the side as (Helryx) and (Keetongu) passed. But as soon as the two had moved on, they assembled into a group and followed close behind.  Do you know what these creatures were?
  5. Helryx and Keetongu proceed to enter a chamber where a pool of EP  sends a tidal wave at them. Vezon opens a portal (accidently) and while he enters, Helryx and Keetongu leave through the same portal. What happens to the creatures at this point? They aren't mentioned again.
  6. Is it possible that wearing (or perhaps just using the powers of) "immoral" masks is frowned upon by the toa code? The purpose of the code is to keep a good public image with the matoran, and I can't imagine using immoral masks would help in that respect. Matoro's usage of his tryna would probably be an example of use out of neccesity, like the other rules can be avoided if there is simply no other way out of the problem.
  7. Are there certain types of kanohi makuta can't wear? I can't see a mask of undeath, for example, working with antidermis nature - the makuta could leave his body and have it revived by the mask.
  8. How would a makuta use a faxon? Couldn't the makuta just create rahi and then use their powers? Or is rahi creation too long a process for this to be viable? Or can makuta simply not use the faxon?

Thanks for answering so many questions for all of us! I'm sure the rest of the community appreciates it as much as I do.
