21) There's a difference between "feeling at the moment" and a definitive answer.
32) Can't speak to this -- it's an MNOG thing, and I didn't work on that.
43) No
54) No. Earth is dirt, it's not plants. Plants would be jungle tribe.
65) No
76) You're mistaken. They did not know the planet would shatter, and there was no reason to believe a war would cost that many lives. Besides, how many human societies have been perfectly willing to see lives sacrificed for their own interests?
81) So, do you know who exactly it was?
92) It's not a MNOG thing-- well, the sundial was introduced in MNOG, but in a serial you wrote, a mysterious voice wich was never explained tells Lewa to get, and then the OoMN gives it to Takanuva to locate the Codrex. Since you wrote that, I assume you would know what that voice was, right?
104) Oh, so only Jungle Agori can? Didn't you say that an Element Lord could have done it too if he wanted?
116) I was going more along the lines of why they were willing to see lives sacrificed for their own interests. Did they see "those who weren't them" as enemies? Or did they just not care?
121) I still think of the likely suspects -- Velika, Makuta, Ignika, etc. -- the easiest answer is that it was Ignika, which certainly knew what had to be done.
132) Given that it was part of the list of assignments to awaken Mata Nui, which was prepared by the GBs, the voice in that case would most likely have been pre-recorded programming by the GBs.
144) Yes but you were asking about tribes, not ELs.
156) Why are humans willing to sacriifice lives for diamonds or gold or oil or other precious things? It's not about necessarily seeing other people as "enemies," it's just about greed. The EP was potentially a valuable source of power, the Earth tribe wanted it, and it made the most sense to them to let everyone else fight and exhaust themselves and then swoop in and take it rather than get their own tribe bloodied.
11. About a year prior to Mata Nui's arrival, the baterra started fighting Skrall in the northern region. My question is: if the baterra were on Bara Magna for the 100,000 years prior, why didn't they engage the Skrall sooner? What were they doing during that time?22. In Riddle of the Great Beings, Tarduk recalls that the six Element Lords (besides Earth) were "trapped" at the end of the war. Surel says they have become free and are fighting to get into the Valley of the Maze. My question: where and how were the six ELs trapped, and how and when did they escape?33. When you introduced the element of the Green in Legacy of Evil, you described a Toa of the Green as a "he". Because of this, it was accepted that all Bo-Matoran were male. You later stated that this "he" was a typo, and you had meant for the element to be female. A lot of fans are upset that the element is male instead of female because of a typo. Here's what I wonder. You've stated there could be other gender exceptions like Orde in the MU. Is it possible that the Toa of the Green in Legacy of Evil was one of these exceptions, and Bo-Matoran are actually female?

- 1Can a mahiki be removed from a being if they are shapeshifted into a form that does not wear kanohi? (Example: While Matau was disguised as a vahki, could he remove his mask?)
- 2If a mahiki user is in a shapeshifted form, and their mask is knocked off, do they (and the mask) revert to normal?
- 3If a mahiki user shapeshifts into a form physically capable of flight (like a gukko), can they fly?
- 4Destiny War, Chapter 7: These obviously were Rahi beasts, but not like anything she'd seen before. They were short, pale bipeds, with large yellow eyes and spindly arms and legs. They backed away and moved to the side as (Helryx) and (Keetongu) passed. But as soon as the two had moved on, they assembled into a group and followed close behind. Do you know what these creatures were?
- 5Helryx and Keetongu proceed to enter a chamber where a pool of EP sends a tidal wave at them. Vezon opens a portal and while he enters, Helryx and Keetongu leave through the same portal. What happens to the creatures at this point? They aren't mentioned again.
- 6Is it possible that using the powers of "immoral" masks is frowned upon by the toa code? The purpose of the code is to keep a good public image with the matoran, and I can't imagine using immoral masks would help in that respect. Matoro's usage of his tryna would probably be an example of use out of neccesity, like the other rules can be avoided if there is simply no other way out of the problem.
- 7Are there certain types of kanohi makuta can't wear? I can't see a mask of undeath, for example, working with antidermis nature - the makuta could leave his body and have it revived by the mask.
- 8How would a makuta use a faxon? Couldn't the makuta just create rahi and then use their powers? Or is rahi creation too long a process for this to be viable? Or can makuta simply not use the faxon?
9Thanks for answering so many questions for all of us! I'm sure the rest of the community appreciates it as much as I do.
10Last repost, sorry.

32) Yes, tech. Just a matter of downloading brain patterns into the Matoran to replace its AI.
41) Could Vellika theoretically re-enter his Glatorian body, create a Toa, and inhabit that Toa?
5With the proper tech, yes, he could download from his original body or his Matoran body. But why bother?
6In case his original cover was blown and he needed to take a different form, I suppose.

5i would imagine he could - or probably wouldn't need his old body to create a toa one.
6why couldn't he theoretically become a toa? toa and matoran have very similar physiology and identical minds, so couldn't velika's matoran body get infused with toa power just like any other and transform?
7Well, we know Matoran are "destined" to be Toa, which has to mean there is some sort of programming involved in it. The power from a Toa stone is a trigger that activates what is already there. Otherwise, why have to seek out certain Matoran to become Toa? Why not just use the stone on any six Toa? But Velika has no such programming, all of his AI was replaced by the GB's consciousness. So even if he was destined to be a Toa, and most Matoran are not, he couldn't become one now.
8So what you're saying is that a Matoran's Toa energy is part of their identity, and doesn't reside in the Matoran's body itself?

9I think he means that it's not Velika's destiny to become a toa, just like it isn't, say, Defliak's.
1Hi Mr Greg
21. You said recently that the Great Beings had tried to create organic life forms but they created abominations instead. Tren Krom was part of these "abominations"?
32. These abominations have the same physical appearance as Tren Krom? If so, TK was part of this species?
43. The powers of Tren Krom are natural or it's the Great Beings who gave these powers to him? If his powers are natural, his powers have always been so powerful? Or it's a Great Being who amplified his powers to an extreme level like the Skrall Sister who had met Angonce?
54. Is it reasonable to think that the Skrall Sister who met Angonce is as powerful as Tren Krom was?
65. Where is the Skrall Sister who met Angonce currently?
7Thanks !

21, I know this question will seem boring to you, but in an old post I do not remember which one, you said you will think about which powers of Kraata Tahu has other than quick healing and heat vision. Have you had time to think about this? Given that the LMB will be closed soon? I would be curious to know this.
32, Do you think that one or more of the tribal leaders of Bara Magna like Raanu (not necassiry him) could be an agent of Velika? This could be very beneficial for his plan because he or they could convince the villagers to ally themselves with Velika.
43, The species of Annona have their own technology? If so, their technological level could compete with that of the Great Beings?
54, If I understand correctly, Annona is a sphere of energy with organic tentacles that can emerge from her correct? What if this sphere of energy was actually a kind of vessel to contain her true form like the Makuta but instead of being a gas she is organic? this vessel could protect Annona from physical attacks. What do you think of this theory?
6Thank you very much
7In the Farsthey Feed you stated that the Glatorian had weapons with elementary powers during the Core War. All Glatorian had this type of weapon? And these weapons give control over the elements like the Toa have? The Great Beings have created these weapons?

6So is there some reason why Velika might prefer to have his Matoran body? His plan is to openly rule the Spherus Magna society, right? I imagine that would be pretty strange for him to do that while inhabiting a small, badly constructed body (thanks to Karzahni's modifications). So is there some reason why he likes the Matoran body?
1Hi, Greg. I've been a fan of Bionicle since I was little, as I'm sure you could guess, and I just wanted to thank you for all that you've done to make mine and so many others' childhoods so lit. Recently, a group of friends and myself have been discussing how the plot would have ended had it continued, given what we know about the current canon. We've gotten invested enough in this that we really want your opinion on a few different plot points, to find out how you would have intended them to happen, and if certain things were plausible.
21. For what reason did Velika decide to remain on the Great Spirit Robot? Was there something (or someone) for him there?
32. What is the ultimate fate of the Vahi, and were there any plans to include it in the story later?
43. Is the teleporter from the GSR to the Red Star still functional without Mata Nui inside it, and would it be possible to repair the receiver node? If not, could a new teleporter reasonably be constructed?
54. Would it be possible for a Great Being to reforge a Kanohi mask such that it would allow them to use its powers?
6And last but not least,
75. It was mentioned earlier in this thread that Takanuva's destiny was to stop the civil war between Velika and the Great Beings. Is it likely that Takanuva would have died upon fulfilling this destiny, much the same way as Matoro?
8I hope you can give us the answers we're looking for, but know that any new information is like we're digging deeper into the lore that we spent 10 years growing up with. Thanks for doing these talks!

91) No
102) I really think Velika kept the number of his agents very small. As I noted elsewhere, a secret shared is not a secret, and the last thing he needs is the GBs striking out at him before he's ready.
113) I don't think so, no. They don't seem very tech-based. Their powers are natural
124) No, that's not how I see her
135) I am sure many did. The GBs gave them these weapons a long time ago, for dealing with wild animals and other survival issues. But they are not as powerful as Toa power and they cannot do novas, etc.

7Who pays attention to a Matoran? They pay attention to Toa.

91) My belief is that Velika hoped to build an army using the inhabitants of the MU. Paired with those Glatorian/Agori aggrieved with the GBs, he would have a real shot of overthrowing the Great Beings.
102) I didn't have additional plans for it. Had the story continued, I am virtually certain it would not have shown up in 2010 or 2011, but maybe after that, not sure.
113) RS is designed to teleport to and from the MU. With the MU gone, it's not going to be able to function as it has.
124) It would have to be something completely different. It's like asking would it be possible to hook you up to a car battery to give you energy in the morning. Yes, but it wouldn't be a car battery as we know, though there might be some kinship.
135) Actually, I don't recall if I ever said what Takanuva's destiny was going to be. I may have said it involved the civil war, but I don't recall saying he would stop it.
