1) I don't think I can share the 2009 treatment, because I don't own it. It was written under contract with Tinseltown Toons and purchased by them,so they are the only ones who can share that. The 2010 treatment was never purchased by anyone, which is why I could show you that one.
2) The whole "Earth" thing was simply because we had not yet decided what the plague tribe's element would be at that point, so Earth was a placeholder.
3) Some of this most likely will be canonized if we go to Bota Magna in story (as we most likely will, post spring 2010 .. no reason not to)

I'm tempted to ask a bunch of questions about this, but I guess they aren't important since this isn't canon. But I do have to ask one- what would have happened to Gresh? The script didn't mention him at all.
So glad you posted this Greg. It's been a while since I have read Bionicle lore, and this takes the cake for a Bara Magna story.
Yet the Bionisaurs sorta' throw it off a little... I loved this story. I especially loved the conflicting personalities of the newer characters, though looking back on it now, I am a bit confused on the element situation. But, that aside, this movie could've been awesome canon.

A pretty good friend of mine on another forum is a good animator-we're doing an animated version of my Oban Star Racers season 2 epic.
But will I ask her? Nope. I think this is something better off left to the imagination, and writers, than trying to create EL's or dinosaurs in a visual form and trying to make it look...official or great.
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. That would have been great, and to imagine the sets that would go along with it... I would love for this to be cannon and have sets made of the Dinosaurs, it would be like the amazing technic Rahi of '01.

Seeing the Elemental Lords would have been cool too. And it's nice knowing the Skrall turned out to be a good guy in the end.
