6Tahu = Metru Red/Silver 7Gali = Metru Blue/Silver 8Onua = Black/Silver 9Kopaka = White/Grey 10Lewa = Lime/Grey
11Hmm.... 12*Scuttles back to photoshop*
13I think his silver-grey should be dark-grey. He has no silver in his 08 set. 14And of topic what program do you use?
15~ ~
16Hahaha... He says *scuttles off to photoshop*
17Which means photoshop.
18Interesting about the color though. Kinda cool I suppose.
1The whole color idea sounds great . The orange Pohatu thing was a win.

5No offense but that looks more like dark tan to me... make him a little brighter.

9Hey, this isn't the arts topic, it was just a quick representation... 10Maybe I'll recolour them all and put them onto the art topic... 11But still. 12I use Photoshop.
13Also, not much new here but anyway:
14Hey Greg, hope all is well, just a few questions if you wouldn't mind .
151. Are either Ben 10 or Hero Factory planned to be 'evergreens'?
162. Is it possible that Spherus Magna inhabitants came into being via evolution? Or do you not want to get into that due to religious issues?
173. Would (at least some) Matoran of Plantlife speak Tree-Speak too?
184. How much, if any, feeling do MU inhabitants have in their armour? 194a) Can their armour feel any pain?
20Thanks in advance .
211) In both cases, it would depend upon sales, Rawr, making it too soon to tell. I would say HF would be more likely than Ben 10, simply because LEGO owns HF so doesn't have to negotiate contracts and do licensing fees to keep doing it. We do that with SW because it is our #1 line, and I doubt Ben 10 even if successful will outsell Star Wars because it's fanbase is not as big. HF is not out yet, so no way to know how it will sell. 222) I'm not going to go there, because how they came into being is irrelevant to the story. 233) No. It's a regional dialect. 244) Armor cannot feel pain. The organic tissue inside can. It's the same way a football player wearing a helmet and shoulder pads and knee pads can still feel pain in those areas if he's hit hard enough.
251) That's fair enough, I hope HF sticks around for a while at least, it looks interesting. 262) Understandable 274) I see, and what about feeling? Would it make sense for them to have two types of armour? A softer (yet still protective) armour with a sense of touch for hands etc. And a harder, outer armour with no feeling for chest/shoulder and such?
284) I can't see that, no. My assumption would that hand armor, for example, would have sensors in it so you would know if you were touching something hot or cold. Having to change back and forth between different armor sets seems like it would be impractical.
29I suppose I worded 4) wrong because he misread it, I sent a follow up which I'll post here when he answers.
1Greg had some fun answering this one...
2In almost all of the BIONICLE story, Telluris has been referred to as completely wacko. Mad. Insane. However, the most recent chapter of Sahmad's Tale says:
3Telluris looked to me to see if he had gone crazy.
4Not only does this seem to imply Telluris is at least moderately sane, Telluris doesn't act very crazy or wild in the rest of the chapter. So what's the deal: Is Telluris 5I) Crazy, just doesn't seem it, 6II) Moderately sane, or 7III) Perfectly sane but written off as a wacko?
8Also, I'm obliged to ask: since that chapter also says Sahmad "ran to the woman I loved", this does mean that romance is definitely a normal part of life on Spherus Magna, right?
91) Well, think about what the line says -- "Telluris looked to me to see if he had gone crazy." All that really means is that Telluris does not perceive himself as crazy -- and as Catch 22 says, if you think you're crazy, you can't be crazy. And remember also, not every crazy person walks around with it written on their forehead -- think about the number of people in our world who do crazy things, and their neighbors say, "He seemed perfectly normal."
102) Yes.
54I've always assumed that Telluris would kill anyone he saw.1Greetings Greg.
21. You probably wont be able to answer this, but is the MU and the Hero Factory world in the same universe?
32. When the Skrall were exiled to the wastelands, were the rock Agori exiled too?
43. Unless the Skopio haven't reproduced in the last thousands of years, how do young Skopio get mechanical parts?
54. How come the other tribes didn't devolve into Vorox-like and Zesk-like?
64a. If it's because they were nomads, why didn't the remaining iron tribe members devolve?
75. Did the Great Beings actually live on Spherus Magna, or were they just staying there for a little while?
86. Why did the Great Beings give the Skopio mechanical parts? Doesn't that seem dangerous?
97. Do Baterra look like Bohrok?
108. What happened to the Toa in the Status Tube on Odina?
119. So the Matoran, Vortixx, Skakdi, etc. can make more of their kind?
129a. If yes, how do they get the organic parts?
139b. Mechanical parts?
1410. Why would the Great Beings give the Matoran Universe inhabitants organic parts?
1511. Why would the Great Beings experiment on the sand tribe? What's the point in giving them tails, and making the sand Agori 4-legged?
1611a. Were the Vorox and Zesk upset about this?
1711b. Why would they experiment on all of them? Why not just on a few, that way, if it's a failure, it wouldn't ruin the sand tribe?
1811c. Are the Great Being's experiments responsible for the devolution?
191) I can answer it. Answer's no. There is no connection at all between the BIONICLE story universe and the HF story universe. None. 202) "Exiled" implies someone ordered them out. That's not what happened. They scattered there after the defeat of Roxtus. And yes, the Agori went too. 213) Have we ever shown a young Skopio with mechanical parts? 224) Basically, for the same reason that if you take 12 people and put them on a desert island with no supplies, some people will rise to the occasion and others will crack up. The Zesk and the Vorox did not have a social or psychological structure that could stand up to a crisis like this. As for Sahmad and Telluris, Sahmad lived part of the time in Roxtus, and Telluris had his hate and his desire for revenge to hang onto (and still went a bit nuts). 235) They did live there. The GBs are not space traveler or aliens. 246) Why did we build the neutron bomb? Scientists often do things because they can as opposed to whether they should or not. 257) They were the prototype for Bohrok, but as with many prototypes, the final product looks fairly different, mainly because Bohrok had a different function. 268) Nothing. 279) I can't discuss this. Not allowed. 2810) Well, they had tried making all organic life, and that didn't work out all that well, so next they tried bio-mechanical. Building robots wasn't any challenge for them, they wanted to create a new form of life. 2911) See answer to #6 -- and add to it, why have "advanced" cultures in our world seen fit to tamper with the development of more "primitive" ones? 3011a) Nope. They were being given a weapon to help them survive in the desert. 3111b) They did start with a few. And it was a success. And if they stop there, then those few either wind up dominating the tribe or else get murdered by the others out of jealousy. 3211c) No.
338. So, he's still there?
349. The Lego Company doesn't allow you to say anything about that? 3510. When did they try to make all-organic life?
368) Yes 379) Correct. We decided a long time ago -- circa 2003 -- that revealing every single detail of BIONICLE would destroy the mystique of it, and that we did not need to go into any aspect of reproduction. 3810) Prior to the creation of the Mata Nui robot. That is what Tren Krom was, an all-organic experiment.
39Speaking of Tren Krom, why did the Great Beings simply exile him and fuse him to a rock? Doesn't that seem cruel, especially for all he's done for them?
40I think because they worried about with him what they should have worried about with Makuta -- that he would grow jealous of Mata Nui, the being who had taken his job, and pose some threat. Not an unreasonable thing to think, really.
41I thought you said the Great Beings didn't intend the MU inhabitants to be sentient?
42Nope, I never said that. They were given artificial intelligence and the ability to learn -- and all sentient means is they can feel sensations, it actually has nothing to do with being able to reason (that's "sapient"). What they did not expect from the bio-mechanical beings was emotion -- but they had made Tren Krom before they made the MU, so they already knew he had emotions, something they thought had something to do with his being organic as opposed to primarily mechanical. It was a problem they thought they had fixed when they made the Matoran.
43We know the purpose of the Matoran, but what's the purpose of Skakdi and Vortixx and other species like that?
44They all have their role to play. If you think of Matoran as red blood cells, for example, well, your body can't function with just red blood cells. It needs other things besides that. The Vortixx, for example, make things that other species use. The Skakdi are bestial and warlike, but they also live in an important region, and by being so warlike, they keep outside invaders away from that region.
451. What's so important about Zakaz?
46Also, some question's about Sahmad's Tale.
471. So Sahmad was in love with a female at the time it happened?
482. So Sahmad can approach Telluris? In normal circumstances, wouldn't Telluris kill Sahmad?
493. Is the Dream plague spread through the air?
501) Hasn't been revealed yet 511) Yes 522) Why would Telluris want to kill Sahmad? They're from the same tribe 533) I can't answer this
55It's possible that the Toa of plasma survived. I remember that I was talking to GregF about the subject, and he hinted that he was alive, saying something like "Who said he's dead? It's possible that he and Zaktan made a deal so that he would live and Zaktan made it look like he was dead" or something similar to that.I think he's still alive. If he was dead, why would GregF not just say "Oh, yeah, he's dead"?
1wait zakas has some spesial purpuse what can it be??
1maybe it's near an energy conduit, or perhaps it's near some piece of machinery, like stabilizers. maybe there's a big pool of EP.
1Sahmad's Tale questions . Mostly from what we were all thinking . WARNING:Contains spoilers .

2Hi, Mr. Farshtey . I have a few questions pertaining to Sahmad's Tale.
7thanks . 8tent out .
91) I tend to doubt it, it is not a mask of healing 102) I think the best answer to this is to put yourself in his shoes. If everyone you knew, including your girlfriend, was wiped out by something like this, what would be driving you? 113) No, they are immune. 124) Grief and bitterness -- no other tribe was willing to help the Iron tribe or take in the survivors, so of course he hates them.
13that's all
1Maybe Zakaz is Mata Nui's stomach because that would be random.
1He does not that why it would random. It would like sharks with wings and feet.
1Maybe it has something to do with the all the stuff that skakdi like to put in EP
1Got some new, and not so new stuff here.
281. Just a theory. 291a. Yet Nuhrii was a Ta-Koro guard in MNOLG2, please no retcon. 302. I think that's new. 312a. Dissapointing, but I think a few of you might see where I would've gone with that. 323. Argh. 334. When did we discus it, it was mentioned once, maybe twice. 345. Though I'm still confused, y'all might understand. 356. Please don't kill me BZP 367. Oh, right. Forgot about that. 378. Just a thought. 389. Yay . loads of freeky Pridak guys. 3910. Argh.
21. Is it possible that after hearing about how he helped save Metru-Nui from the Morbuzahk, Orkham was made the Captain of the Guuko Force after Kongu became a Toa? 31a. And the same with Nuhrii and the Ta-Metru Guard? 42. Is Hydraxon's face his actual face or is a helmet? 52a. If the latter, is his helmet based off of a Kanohi of someone he respects or just randomly made? 63. Is Hydraxon one of a kind, or is he a member of a speices? 74. Will the importance of Zakaz be revealed soon? 85. How did the Agori lose the ability to create? 96. Is Lewa's Adaptive Armor permanetly lime like Pohatu's is orange? 107. I've realized similarities between the way the Skrall and the Skakdi (before the experiments), is it possible the Great Beings based the way Skakdi act of the Skrall? 118. Was the spiked Muaka Nektann has an experiment Spariah did before or during his experiments on the Skakdi? 129. Are all the Barakki members of a spieces or was Ehlek the only one that wasn't a one of a kind? 1310. Are there othe Iron Tribe member besides Sahmad and Telluirs on Bara Magna? 14Thank you for your time 15- RC Niner
161) I doubt it. 171a) I just don't see Nuhrii as a warrior somehow 182) It's a helmet 192a) It's not based off a Kanohi 203) Unknown 214) If it becomes relevant -- this is something I have discussed with BZP, not with the rest of the fanbase, so I don't see it as enormously urgent this be covered in story right now. 225) Over time, the same way we might if there was a nuclear holcaust and 100,000 years went by. 236) Yes 247) Not really necessary. You are seeing the Skrall at a point where the rules of society no longer apply. They weren't riding around making war on others when the GBs and ELs were running things, because they wouldn't have been allowed to. 258) No 269) They are all members of a species 2710) Doubtful, but no one knows for sure.
281. Just a theory. 291a. Yet Nuhrii was a Ta-Koro guard in MNOLG2, please no retcon. 302. I think that's new. 312a. 11.Can a new mask of shadow be created? 22.Can the mask of life turn Turaga into Toa? 33.How big is Tren Krom? 4Thanks in advance from your time.
51) Probably, yes 62) Yes 73) I haven't measured him lately
82. Can the mask of life turn Turaga into Matoran?
94.Can Voporak use the mask of time? 105.Can the mask of life turn Agori into tings other than snakes? 11Thanks in advance for your time again.
122) They would go through a Toa phase and then could go back to being Matoran, yes 134) I don't believe that Voporak can use mask powers 145) If they have it somewhere in their evolutionary background, yes. It couldn't turn them into alien monsters that never existed on Spherus Magna, but it could advance them up or down the evolutionary scale
15Here are some things that I was wondering about.
1At least in Metus' line...
1That was not meant to be literally... but anyway, better send a follow-up to Greg. I am sure there has to be some mistake.
1In response to Erebus:
4Greg's response when I asked him in '08. Not sure if it still counts or not, though.
27)the new hydraxon was created when the mask of life evolved dekar into an exact copy of the old hydraxon. does this mean that the matoran race will/may someday evolve into hydraxon's race? iff not, then how did the kanohi ignika evolve dekar into the new hydraxon?
3ANSWER: I never said "evolved" in this case -- I said "transformed."

3Very funny, Greg .
4But seriously, I thought he was maybe the size of a house or something like that.
5Given the way he was described and the way the FoF acted around him, that's probably the case (although he problably isn't more than a couple of stories tall).
1At least in Metus' line...
2Individuals don't have their own evolutionary line. If it's in Metus', it's in all Agori's.
3Since when did Agori "evolve?"
4X-Ray.
5Greg has implied more than once that they have.
6If it weren't for the fact that real life science and physics dosen't normally apply in bionicle, (And that such a discussion would probably not be allowed on Bzpower) I'd say that this was grounds for an "Intelligent Design vs. Evolution" debate. And don't write I.D. off as nothing either.

11) What are the current statuses of the Nuva Symbols? 22) If a matoran were to hang around with a lot of Le-Matoran and went to Le-Koro frequently, would he/she start picking up on their accent? 33) I always wanted a story reason for why on the comics of 2009 it says "For Victory, For Glory, For Power". Can this be some sort of slogan that Tuma used when trying to gain the Skrall's support back in his younger days? 44) You recently revealed that Pohatu is now orange in his normal state, can it be confirmed that the rest of the toa have the same color scheme as their 2008 forms, as well? 55) When were the events of Bara Magna Comic #5 in relation to Journey's End? 66) How come in Comic #5 Tarduk isn't seen with Mata Nui on his journey? Can it be confirmed that Tarduk was just walking behind Mata Nui, since it never showed anything behind his back. 77) [[[INSERT PERSONAL INFO THAT I DON'T WANT OTHER BZPERS KNOWING HERE]]]

91) They're in Metru Nui 102) Certainly possible 113) No, it's what the Glatorian fight for -- victory, glory, and the power that comes with it. 124) Yes 135) The November comic takes place before the start of JE, because in JE, Mata Nui is going into the tower, in the comic he has just gotten there. 146) Tarduk did not journey to the tower with Mata Nui, he got there before Mata Nui did. 157) Thanks, GJ -- well, I hope the serials can do the same thing for a while longer.

8I think it's implied that the agori (and glatorian, various creatures etc) evolved to a certain point and then the great beings started tampering with them which is why theyre now partly mechanical and have extremely long life spans. However; noticable evolution takes place over millions of years (tens of thousand times longer if their lifespans were natural and not a result of the great beings fiddling) and the Agori's relavent history seems measurable in hundreds of thousands of years, maybe one or two million total. So i dont think theyve gotten a whole lot of elvolving in since they've been mechanical.
9And Metus' transformation was a transformation. just that. a changing of one life form to another. There is no reason to believe that the Agori will one day evolve into snakes.
10How Dekar became Hydraxon is not unknown. The Mask of Life transformed him.

11The Agori and Glatorian aren't mechanical, they have mechanical implants, but come into being fully organic. Their lifespans only make sense if they were artificially boosted three orders of magnitude.
12Agori into snakes is possible, but evolution is a reactive force, so the Ignika can't possibly know how the species would look like in, well, 10,000,000,000 years. Snakes into Agori is extremely unlikely, since the odds for snakes to evolve arms and legs are almost 0.
1since the odds for snakes to evolve arms and legs are almost 0.
2wrong on that one. Snakes devolved arms. but the genetics are still there. humans can easily re-grow tails. the genetics are there, it's just de-activated. we have a ton of inactive DNA.
3Their lifespans only make sense if they were artificially boosted three orders of magnitude.
4actually indefinite life is possible. humans age because the telomers, the ends of our chromosomes, wear down. it's possible to reverse that, or stop that.
5in nature, it's of no use, since the average human lifespan used to go no further than, say, 40? at that age, degeneration barely comes into play. most animals barely suffer drawbacks from such degeneration, simply because they're not old enough. if the Agori evolved, and did not have the ability to grow old, they could become very old.

3No, actually, in order to recover traits lost to evolution, the species needs to get them back through other means. They can't just activate this "inactive DNA", even if they have it.
4Their lifespans only make sense if they were artificially boosted three orders of magnitude.

7Yes, but the problem is that in order to maintain an stable population, the rate of reproduction has to match the average lifespan. But in Spherus Magna, this means that an Agori would only need to have one child every 100,000 years (compare to a human generation of 30 years). This slows down the rate of evolution by three orders of magnitude.

12Agori into snakes is possible, but evolution is a reactive force, so the Ignika can't possibly know how the species would look like in, well, 10,000,000,000 years. Snakes into Agori is extremely unlikely, since the odds for snakes to evolve arms and legs are almost 0.
13I'm pretty sure greg said the agori and glatorian were biomechanical, just less mechanical and more biological.
1No, the Agori are 85% organic. And people, take this discussion elsewhere. I'd like to see some good questions here concerning the last BIONICLE comic.
1So... Pohatu is now orange?
