11). Did any of the Pit prisoners receive the means to understand the Agori language?

2Doubtful.

3And a thousand epic ideas suffered horrible deaths.

4I wonder what the status of the prisoners will bein society though. The Agori won't be unable to understand them, so perhaps they will suffer Ahkmou's fate? Hiding in a far away village.

5Or forming their own society.

1Hello again Greg.
2I have a question about Shadow Stealer's shadow teleportation ability, which I plan to include in my BS01 Story Contest entry:
3Is Shadow Stealer able to bring other beings, like Toa, with him when he teleports?

4Yes

1I asked some questions again...
2Hello again, Greg. Hope you're doing well.
31) Are Kanohi Nuva versions of all normal Kanohi possible? I.e. could a, say, Kanohi Kiril become a Kanohi Kiril Nuva if destined to? 42) When you said that no named characters (except for the obvious one) died when Teridax died, does this include the MNOG2 Matoran with non-canon names? 53) Also, did any named characters die in the battle of Mata Nui and Teridax? Did any Matoran named in MNOG2 die? 64) Being just a "programming language" for the Great Beings, and something they didn't use everyday, was the Matoran language deliberately made somewhat simple by the Great Beings? 75) What is the purpose of languages other than Matoran in the Matoran universe?
8Once again, thanks in advance.

91) The key words are "if destined to..." Yes, if destined to, any mask could become a Nuva. 102) I don't consider them named characters, because the names are not official. 113) I don't have a casualty list, but I did not plan to kill named characters in that battle. 124) No. Programming languages don't tend to be simple as a rule, I don't think. 135) I consider them to be specific offshoots of programming language, sort of as if someone had a machine where part of it ran on COBOL and part of it ran on Visual C++, because those specific languages worked best for those specific situations.

14My comments: 151) I was just asking if the eight Kanohi Nuva we know aren't the only possible ones. Success. 162) Ooh, interesting... though nothing will be done with this. 173) Just confirmation, again. 184) ...what? Oh, this means there must be many nice, informative properties in words that make it more code-ish. 195) Interesting.
#12564
1So some of those MNOG and MNOG2 Matoran could have died?
2I hope the pie shouting matoran in MNOG lived. He is truly an epic character.
#12565

2quite logical actually....
3some languages are good for simple tasks and things, while other tasks require more advanced languages

1Hello, Greg . I just have one quick question that's been nagging at me.
2When the Toa on Jovan's team sacrificed himself for Mata Nui, were the storms happening in Karda Nui?
3Thanks .

4You mean the energy storms? At low intensity, yes

3There was seriously a pie-shouting Matoran? :o Where is he? I have to see this for myself.
4I really hope none of the MNOLG(2) people died... Those games wouldn't be the same without all those characters...

3Sure, they could have died, but most likely not. Either way, they still probably won't come out in later stories.

1Hi Greg . I hope you are doing well, I have some questions in my mind could you help me please? soory if they are too many questions
21.- Your interview was great I could learn more about you but I couldn´t understand some things, you talked about a famous writer which you admire, who was him?
3Bionicle questions 42.-Does Bara Magna have seasons like spring, summer, autum and winter 53.- sorry to ask you this again but I have seen many proofs that say I am right so: are Tanma´s, Photok´s and Solek´s masks noble versions of the Toa Mata masks? or noble nuva versions? 64.-Do Bone Hunters like the taste of Thornax fruit? 75.-Is the Pit part of the Giant Robot or is it on Aqua Magna? i ask this because I recall you said there was a remain of a structure that was the fortress of the Elemet Lord of Water on Aqua Magna and that the escaped Pit prisioners might have discovered it so if the Pit is part of the Giant Rbot how could they dicover it? 86.-is Helryx as powerful with her element as the Element Lord of Water? 97.-you said that Mata Nui let the Glatorian think he had charged up their weapons though he was giving the powers to the Glatorian and the weapons were just the focus, does this mean that they had the powers but needed a weapon that could focus them? if so then they can only use the powers when they have that specifical weapon unlike the Toa that can use their powers through their hands? 108.- let´s say that I managed t arrive to Spherus Magna, I wouldn´t be able to communicate by speech with the Toa or Glatorian becuase they speak like computer language, but then could I communicate in writing' because the matoran language that we can write is translated to english so I would be writing english but using the matoran letters so could they understnadf me? sorry if this was too confusive 119.- could you please help me understand this cause it´s too confusing: so Voya nui is part of the roof of Karda Nui, near Voya Nui there are some caves in which the Av-matoran lived before, and Metru Nui is like Mata Nui´s basement right? whre is Mahri Nui now? 12that´s all for now I hope you can answer me soon bye . :howdy:

131) Which one are you referring to, I named a number of writers in the interview 142) Yes 153) Where have you seen proofs? 164) They can tolerate it 175) There are two Pits. The first Pit is the prison that the OOMN kept prisoners in, which was inside the robot. After the prisoners escaped into the ocean outside the robot, and found that because of their mutations they couldn't go back on land, they named the part of the ocean they were in the "the Pit" (since they were basically trapped there). So the fortress they discovered was in the ocean after they escaped, not inside the robot. 186) No 197) No, it does not mean they have to have the weapons to use the powers. 208) If you wrote in Matoran, the Matoran would understand you, though they might not recognize all the words you used. The Glatorian would not understand you. 219) Metru Nui is the robot's brain, it's in his head, same as you have one in yours. The Av-Matoran lived in caves beneath Voya Nui and above Karda Nui -- think of Karda Nui as your house, Voya Nui as the roof, and the caves as the attic. And Mahri Nui was destroyed when the cord was cut, Voya Nui smashed into it.

22Hi again Greg, I sent you a reply 2 days ago but the server must have ate it, sorry if you recieve this twice. 231.-you talked about a man named Jeffrey I think but could you tell me his complete name? 243.- well Biosector01 says that they have the noble versions and also I´ve been reading many old PMs in which you said they have the noble masks. 256.- why not?, she is the most powerful Toa of Water isn´t she? 267.- then why did he have to touch their weapons with the Ignika? 278.- but Glatorian and Toa now understand each other or is it that they can´t read matoran, only talk to them? 289.- sorry I meant where was Mahri Nui before it was destroyed, I now it was below Voya Nui but when Voya Nui returned to the continent above Karda Nui did it was underwater? 2910.- how does Mata Nui explored the planets did he just land, buried himself in the ground, use the camouflage system and made the island of Mata Nui but how did he observed the planet if he had to be underground, or he didn´t need to? 30thank you very much

311) Jeffery Deaver -- he's a suspense novel writer 323) Then I would go with what BSO1 says, I think the question is are they the Noble masks or just SHAPED like the Noble Masks? 336) The most experienced, yes, but an EL is at a whole different level from a Toa. They literally are their element. 347) If I recall correctly, the weapons physically transformed as well -- it was for the physical transformation that he did the contact 358) They can speak and understand, doesn't mean they can read. A lot of people can speak and understand a foreign language but not translate text. 369) Mahri Nui was underwater below Voya Nui. 3710) As on Aqua Magna, his face was above the surface and concealed, and his sensor arrays observed the planet.

38O.k thanks, I´m sorry but I didn´t understand your answer on the 7, the Glatorian had the powers, they didn´t needed weapons to use them, so why Mata Nui had to change the weapons if they could use their powers through their hands?

39Because he didn't want them to know the power was in them, he wanted them to think it was in their weapons. The idea of elementally powered weapons wasn't new to them, they had those in the war. The idea of them themslves having elemental powers would probably have disturbed them.

40Great :D

1Hi Greg .
21) Why Takanuva changed his weapons? 31.1) And Gresh? 42) Is Zaktan deceased? 53) The "thing" that captured Metus, Sahmad and Telluris is from Spherus Magna or the Universe Matoran? 64) Is Pridak the leader of the Barraki now? 75) Who is your favourite character from Spherus Magna?

81-1.1) You go with what is available and what you think works best in a situation 92) Well, most people seem to think so. 103) Spherus Magna 114) He always was. 125) Don't have one.

13Hi Greg .
141) How old is Kiina (with comparations)? 152) Are you going to left Metus as a snake because people don't like him? 163) When will be the new chapter of Sahmad's Tale available? It will be the last? 174) What color was the armor of the people of the Iron Tribe?

181) Older than Gresh, younger than Ackar 192) I have no plans to change him back into an Agori. I have only had a couple people ask for him to be changed, the majority of people seem to be fine with him as he is, so I see no reason to change him. 203) No, it won't be the last, and it should be up later this week. 214) Their original color hasn't been revealed. They disguised their armor to look orange to try to fool people into not thinking they were from the iron tribe.
#12575
1But wait, didn't Greg confirm before that the original color of the iron tribe was dark blue and grey?

1Yeah, he forgets stuff from time to time. The podcast does specify dark blue and grey as the colors.

1me and waffles were having an interesting conversation in this topic about types of protodermis, which brought up the questions:
21) is proterdermis a chemical element?
32) is antidermis?
43) is energized protodermis?
54) if yes, were these the only chemical elements in the MU?

6The nature of EP remains a mystery, but protodermis and antidermis are both artificially created substances, not elements from nature.

1Greg's answers in italic.

2Hey, Greg . I enjoyed the recent story, keep up the good work .
3I just have some questions for you, and hope you have some answers .
41: If a Toa of ice froze an opponent's internal fluids, could he make the liquids explode, along with the opponent?
51b: If not, why not? Besides being against the toa code, of course.
62: Can a being is stasis dream, or experience visions?
73: Were the GB's monitoring the entire Mata Nui on Bara Magna adventure, or just the robot battle's aftermath?
84a:How did Takua and Gali form a mental link?
94b: Was Takua's link-power, (IE Tamna's power battery.) To create mental links?
104c: If not, what WAS his power?
115a: Does the MoL Increase Takanuva's control over light?
125b: If not, what purpose does it serve?
136a: Can a Toa of fire shoot a beam of ice by absorbing the heat in front of him in a line, eventually hitting something?
146b: If not, why not?
157a: If MN wanted to, could he have used his mask's power to understand click?
167b: If not, why not?
17Thank you for the answers to my questions . And congratulations on the baby . Goodbye for now .

181) I think it would be difficult to just freeze the inner fluids and not freeze the rest of the enemy at the same time. The cold has to pierce the skin to get to the inner fluids, which would mean the skin would freeze. Anyway, freezing a fluid does not make it explode -- water does not explode when it turns to ice. 192) I would say no 203) Most likely only the robot battle, and we only know that Angonce knew about that, not necessarily the rest of the GBs 214) Not something I am qualified to comment on. That came from MNOG and I had nothing to do with that game. 224b) That would make no sense, as he was not physically linked to a Toa all that time, nor could he access an Av-Matoran power since he didn't know he was an Av-Matoran. 234c) Unknown, since it was never used in story 245) No, but it does things he cannot do just with his elemental power 255b) Read the description on biosector01 of what the mask does. 266a) No 276b) Because if he could do that, what would you need a Toa of ice for? And why expend that kind of time and energy to do when he could just hurl fire a lot easier? 287a) The Mask of Life does not allow you to understand alien languages. That's the Mask of Translation.

291: I mean if he froze an opponent, could he make the ice fragments fly apart, causing an "Explosion"?
307a: But he made the MUians understand Glatorian-speak... Or was that a Toa/Matoran only deal?
317b: Could he make a MUian understand/speak several languages?
327b: If not, why not?
33New questions
348: Did the GBs manually make MN or was it made telepathically, by machines... ETC ETC?

351) He could freeze someone and then shatter them, yes. Ice does not explode on its own. 367a) Mata Nui could do that because he knows both Agori and Matoran, so he simply downloaded knowledge of Agori to the Matoran. Had nothing to do with a mask power. 377b) No, because he doesn't understand or speak multiple languages. 388) The GBs made the Matoran, who then built Mata Nui.
#12581
1Wait, I know that there's a post in this thread, a lot further back, where Greg said the original Iron Tribe colors were grey and dark blue. Maybe he forgot.
2EDIT: No, wait, here it is:

3They were working in the darkness, so they didn't know what they were actually building.
#12585
1Considering the size of the thing, one would have to be at least several miles away from it to be able to tell what it was.
#12586
1If they wanted, the GBs could anytime reprogram the Matoran and delete their memories. It's like deleting your files from the hard disc.
2But, BS01 says they where building him in the darkness, so they didn't noticed.

2They built him from the inside, after the important parts were done.

2Hi Greg
3Would the BIONICLE Story Squad be allowed to do a poll that would decide if Metus' Revenge can become canon? As far as anyone can see there is nothing in the short scene that contradicts pre-established canon, something you yourself have pointed out several times.
4Thanks,

6Then we don't need a poll, it's canonized.

5Hello Mr. Farshtey 6Couple of Q's for you on various topics:
71) When you had sets to work with, did you prefer years that had a greater or fewer number of sets to work into the story? 82) When should we start seeing story after Mata-Nui's 'Retirement' 93) Will we get more story on The riders of the Kaxium and Thornatus?(I think one of their names are Perditus) 103a) If so, when? 114) Now that Bara Magna is Spherus Magna again, will Tellirius rebuild his Skopio? 125) Do you have a set number of Serials you are going to do?

131) Outside of 2001, the number of sets per year was pretty much always the same. 12 canister sets, usually a handful of bigger sets, and six small sets. It never changed that much. 142) Soon 153) I don't have plans for them right now 164) If you have been following Sahmad's Tale, then you know Telluris is a little busy right now 175) As many as I feel I reasonably have time for.
