We had a whole big long discussion on this a few months ago on BZP, so no real reason to go into all of it again, but that was my position on it.

1I was just wondering: would a Toa of Psionics be able to use its power on Bara Magnans, since the MU beings have mechanical minds and the BMs organic ones? I've always seen Psionics as a sort of "hacking" program for MU Beings, as you could view/change otherwise invisible data. However, organic minds work very differently than robotic ones, and I was wondering if their powers would still work on them?

6Well, fiction is full of plenty of people, like Professor X, capable of doing telepathy or using other psionic powers on other humans. So why would it be any different in this case? The BIONICLE beings are not robots, they are bio-mechanical, and perceived differences in how our minds work and their minds work is really being seen through the lens of Earth science. In addition, it has never been stated one way or the other if the brain of a BIONICLE being is organic or not, in the same way their lungs are organic.
7Forgive me if I wrong, but I think it was confirmed somewhere that they are programmed (thus the Matoran programming language) like computers. If so, wouldn't Toa Psionics on non-programmed beings (such as the Agori) be comparable to Professor X reprogramming Sentinels with his mind?

3I've been thinking about the curious powers of the Sisters of the Skrall. They're a great addition to the story, but I can't think why or how an organic species like the ones on Spherus Magna might evolve so that members of one gender have amazing powers of the mind. Please don't just reply with "BIONICLE doesn't work like Earth, so anything could happen" - I know that. What I was wondering was, why would a species evolve that way? And did they even evolve that naturally, or did the Great Beings have something to do with it?
4So here is my theory. Provided that the powers evolved naturally (and not through exterior "experiments"), I think there is a fairly obvious reason for the Sisters to have these psionic abilities. As we know, the two genders of the species actively despise each other whenever it is not mating season. However, come mating season, they might find that they have no idea where the other gender is, or some such problem. To answer this, perhaps the Sisters of the Skrall evolved their psionic powers for one crucial reason: to send out a mental "mating call" that only Skrall would pick up. The call would, most likely, override whatever the Skrall were intending to do and implant the location of the opposite gender in their minds. The Skrall would then rush to wherever their mates were and commence their mating season.
5So, to shorten that into a few simple questions:
61) Did the Sisters of the Skrall evolve their psionic powers naturally, or did the Great Beings have something to do with it? 72) If they evolved it naturally, would the above theory be correct? 8I consider the mask to be the least important as I have no plans to reference in story anytime soon.
9I know some members were asking how many names you got back. Do you think you can reveal that number? Assuming you name the 6 Toa from the new Toa Team serial, the new Toa Team name, the Golden being, Sahmad's lover, and the Stasis Toa, that's 10 names gone. 10Also, isn't Sahmad's lover dead? Is there a reason why she is going to be named?

14I don't mind that, what annoys me is how he says he has to be judicious with the names, but plans on naming a dead Agori who, frankly, nobody really cares about. I, personally, would much rather the MoC gets a name than her, if she never got named I wouldn't care in the slightest.
