1Greg, I have a quick question for you which I probably know the answer to. On bzp, you said that there aren't anymore toa canisters in the Codrex. Is it possible the Nuva aren't meant to survive?

15Greg seems to feel set size is the same as story-size, in Takanuva's case. But, seeing as Gadunka was much bigger in story than in set, I'm going to wait until we see Takanuva in commercials, as those seem to be what we can trust most.
16Takanuva is bigger than the average Toa, though, on account of the energies of Karda Nui. It affects the heights of Av-Matoran similarly, even though they're only around one and an eighth times the height of a normal Matoran while Takanuva is one and five eighths the height of a normal Toa.

All Matoran and Toa of Light (not sure about Turaga and other beings) are enlarged as a result of the energies in Karda Nui. So, Takanuva IS as tall storyline wise as he is set wise.

If two Toa, lets say a Toa of Fire and a Toa of Water, both have an Iden and both leave their bodies, If the ToF entered the ToW's body, would the ToF be able to use the element of Water (and Vice versa). Also, would the ToF sound like himself, or would he have the ToW voice?

2In our world, a person's voice has something to do with his/her body, so in the case of a brain-switch/soul-switch, the voice will most likely not change. Don't know if it's the same in BIONICLE.
3As for elemental powers... Is elemental energy connected to a Toa's body or a Toa's mind?

1Hi Greg. I recently picked up a Axelerar at a TRU near me. It was really cool but I decided to take a closer look at the massive box and saw what looked like two of the Rokoh ship flying out ogf the Codrex through what would be the Ignika symbol.

1I thought of another question. I read on Biosector that ever being has some light/darkness inside them. If a Toa (other than light), lets say Lewa, lost all his light being sucked out of him by an Avsa/shadow leach/Gorasts stinger, would he have more control over his shadow powers and retain his air element?
1TNT - Takanuva's size change has nothing to do with what the shadow leech did to him. It has everything to do with being a being of Light in Karda Nui, just as Av-Matoran are bigger than normal Matoran due to the energies there.
2Kefka - I have already confirmed elsewhere that the Nuva do not die this year.
3TOW - There are no Toa of Shadow extant in the universe right now and no plans for a combiner model of one. I have no problems with a purple Toa of Earth either, but I don't have any say in these decisions. It's a set designer thing.

1Not something I have info on. I had no involvement with MOL, and the person who was responsible for that message in the mask has not worked for LEGO Company for years now.

The point of the change we are making is to shake off some of the chains that come with seven years of continuing story -- eventually, inevitably, there is so much history that newcomers cannot find an easy way to get into it. Also, our feeling was that we had basically been telling one story for seven years, and it was time to end it and move onto a new chapter.
4At the same time, that chapter is tied into what has been going on up to now. We are not done forever with what is going on in the Matoran universe, far from it -- it is the motivation for many of the events in the next story arc. If old fans choose 2009 as a place to jump off, they certainly can do that, but I think it will be worth staying on board. We have some good story planned as we start addressing some of the broader, more central mysteries of BIONICLE.
