11) How blind are the Makuta in Karda Nui, can they see anything? Or is everything just a blur? 22) Is it possible for Takanuva to turn evil? 33) Was there ever any Rahi in Karda Nui 44) What kind of adaptations would the Toa's armor make in a swamp area?
51) Everything is black 62) It's possible for any living being to turn evil, but I don't intend doing that with him since we just did that in 2005 73) Not native to the place, no 84) You'll have to wait for summer for this answer
1It says Vamprah doesn't speak because he thinks it as useless noise that interrupts his hunting.
1Um....... here:
2Hey Greg, I have a question involving Joven's team.
31.a.)We know Joven died as a Turaga and one of his team members died using the Ignika. Were there other members? 41.b.) If yes, where are they and/or what happened to them?
51) Yes 62) They became Turaga and currently serve in other places
7Will we ever see them?
8No plans for that, no, as they aren't going to be sets.
1Hello Greg 21) Is it possible that the first toa will be a combiner this year? 31a) How about MoMN?
42) Will Hydraxon appear in a serial this year? 52a) How about Karzahni?
63) Is it possible we will see more Makuta in combiner form?
74) Which sets do you plan on getting?
8Thanks
91) Possible, but doubtful 102) No 112-2a) No plans at the moment, but you never know 123) Well, we have a Makuta building contest going on now for BrickMasters, so you will see those. 134) Haven't decided
14So looks like we may get a first toa combiner(they can use Gali's parts), anythings possible

1Takanuva Toa of Twilight, you have to PM your questions to Greg through the link on the first post of this topic.
1Hey Greg,
2Here's some questions:
31. What is Dweller doing? 41a. Is he looking for Takanuva?
52. Was Krakua the voice that told Lewa to get the sundial? 62a. If not then a member of the OoMN?
73.Is Krakua hunting down Dweller? 83a. If not then what is he doing in Metru Nui?
94.Did Icarax attack Takanuva on orders from the BoM?
105. Is the OoMN active in the alternative universe?
11Thanks:

1Takanuva Toa of Twilight, you have to PM your questions to Greg through the link on the first post of this topic.
2It wasn't him who didn't do that. Anyway, person who posted it here, you need to send your q's to Greg via Pm, link first page. You can't do it without at least 10 posts. 3edit:it was toanuva19.
1Well, not much, but here it is.

3Hi Greg.
4I have a few questions.
51. Can you describe Mutran and Vican's personalities?
62. Will Icarax and Mutran be in the first comic?
73. Will Mutran be one of those characters only mentioned in the web serials, like Lesovikk and Karzahni? I hope not...
84. Will Gali, Tahu, and Onua be in Bionicle Legends #9?
95. Do you have any cats?
101) I believe this info is already on BIONICLE.com 112) Icarax will be, I don't think Mutran is. 123) No, Mutran is in the books as well 134) Yes, first half of the book 145) I used to, but my wife is allergic, so had to adopt them out when I got married
151. I ment a little more in depth. Oh well... 162. Awww, I hoped Mutran would. 173. Oh, that's great: 184. Knew it. 195. Oh... that sucks. What about hypoallergenic cats?

2QUOTE 3Hello, hope your having a great time. I have some questions here...
41) Is there anyone else in the BIONICLE univerese that can teleport like Botar can? 51b) Does Botar have a species type?
62) Does TSO known what's going on in the univere, such as does he know that the universe might die?
73) What's Dweller going to do now that Takanuva is gone? Is he going to keep a eye one Metru-Nui?
84) Antroz is in control of the Makuta assault in Karda-Nui. Any special reason MoMN chose him? Such as is he a good leader? Or does MoMN trust him?
95) Since Sidorak's, Krekka's and Gladiator's home island is Stelt, could there species all be called Steltians?
106) Did Brutaka "save" Roodaka after he gave here to the Steltian trader in FoF, becuase he needed her for another "special" purpose, or because he needed to keep his numbers up? 116b) Why did he cheat the trader anyway?
127) Are ther "armies" or other Toa teams ou there, working for there island, like there were bunches in the Toa/Dark hunter war, or are the known Toa the only ones left?
138) Are there going to be other mystery island names released? Such as we knew of Stelt last year, but didn't know it's name, will there be more? (Will we know the name of the Volcano chain island where Kopaka and Tahu went?)
149) We don't know yet MoMN's true name, but what do think of it? (Do you think it suits him, or it sounds awkard, evil, mysteriest, etc)
1510) Do you have and idea of how the new storyline next year is going to be? (Like you think of the matoran being chased from Metru-Nui to Mata-Nui, then going back, then add details as you right the books?)
1611) The books started out as Chronicles, then Adventures, then Legends. What will 2009's books be called?
1712) Is there any other job that you would like better than being BIONICLE comic and book writer?
1813) What was the funnist BIONICLE book to write? 1913b) The hardest? 2013c) And the most boring.
2114) Do you know any set designers well? (Are you good friends?)
221) In terms of teleporting to a place he cannot physically see, no, we don't know of anyone else who can do that. 232) No 243) You'll find that out in Book 10 254) He is a good leader -- not the strategic thinker MOMN is, but respected by the other Makuta and rational 265) No. That would be a geographic name for them, not a species name -- the way someone who lives in Manhattan would be a New Yorker, but their species would be human. 276) Because he needs Roodaka for their mission. His mission was never to turn her in -- if the OOMN wanted her dead, they would have just killed her. 287) There are only something like 55 Toa left in the universe, so the days of 300 Toa showing up someplace are over with. 298) I don't know yet 309) I picked it, so I like it 3110) The 2009 story is already locked and done, because it had to be in order to get a movie script written by this month. 3211) Hasn't been decided yet 3312) Probably only writing something of my own, as opposed to something that belongs to someone else. 3413) Funniest was probably Bionicle Legends #4, the hardest would probably be the one I am doing now or the first one of any year, and I don't think there has a been a "most boring." If I am bored by my work, I shouldn't do it.
1Hello again Mr. Farshty, I have a few more questions for you.
21) If a Makuta's Antidermis was stuck in a strong wind or water current, would it cause the Antidermis to disperse faster?
32) I believe that you stated that on an elemental control scale a Toa Nuva's is a 10, a Toa's is 9, and a Turaga's is 3, so would a Turaga Nuva's be a 4? Not that I want to see Turaga Nuva anytime soon:
43) I don't suppose you can tell us which color the female Makuta is? (I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask)
54) What is the difference between a blast from a Toa of Light and a Midak blast if any?
65) Is there any mental change that happens when a Matoran becomes a Toa or a Toa becomes a Turaga?
76) So with Takanuva's dark side, with the shield thing that prevents him from regaining his light, how does that work with him? Is it so that when falls farther into the dark whatever light is lost is lost for good, or can he return to the point that he is at now but not beyond that?
8Thank you very much: 9(Note: I may have sent this twice on accident, if so I'm sorry.)
101) Not under normal circumstances, no, because normally it is held together by his will. 112) Yes, that's about right 123) Nope 134) Takanuva can control the strength of his blast and the width of it (from thick to laser-thin). With a Midak, the blast is the same every time. 145) The weight of responsibility falls on you. 156) Any light lost up to now is lost for good and cannot be replenished unless the shield is shattered.
16A few replies and new questions.
174) So then the point of Takanuva being able to use his light energy to power the Midaks is compleatly useless as he could simply shoot a blast like that anyways?
185) But that is because of what their job is. I ask because the Turaga seem to talk differently then the Toa or Matoran (in the movies especially)...they sound more like old people. Obviously they 'are' thousands of years old but so are the Toa and Matoran and their manner of speech doesn't sound ancient like the Turaga's does.
196) So if Takanuva continues to lose light due to his own actions he cannot get that part of his light back either?: He better be careful then.
207) When a Matoran (for the sake of clarification lets say a Ta-Matoran) has his light sucked out, what happens to his old element (fire)? Does it vanish compleatly? Is it still there but supressed? Does it have any effect over him at all?
218) There seems to be some contradiction between Takanuva's light drain and the Av-Matoran's light drain. Takanuva changed color when his light was drained but the Av-Matoran still have the same colors that they had before being drained. I don't understand how this works especially considering that Taka was only partially drained. 228a) Was Vican changed in color? I can't see black being a Le-Matoran color.
23Thanks again.
244) Takanuva can't use his light power to power Midak, we never said he could. We said Tanma could. 255) But you also have to take into account what they have been through as Toa and what they have lost when they become Turaga. Of course it has a physical effect. 266) Correct 277) Gone. All he has left is shadow. 288) It changed because Takanuva is a Toa, Av-Matoran are not. 298a) Vican is still partially green, but certainly his physical look was changed so his secondary color might have been changed to.
304) I meant that it would be pointless for him to try and learn to power a Midak. 315) Good point...I dont see how that would change their manner of speech though. 326) He REALLY better be careful: 337) Well that's sad... 348) I suppose that makes sense. 358a) So Vican's blackness is from his mutations...O.K:
1Poor Takanuva, and he doesn't even know he should be careful
1Here something some of you might be interested:
21. In the pocket dimension, why did the Toa Mata followed Tuyet?
32. It's obvious that Makuta is probably planning to form a Brotherhood of Makuta empire, what type of empire is Makuta planning to form? And why?
43. Did the Order of Mata Nui planted evidents of the false prophecy in Metru Nui doing the Time Slip?
54. Does shadow leech work on Kraata-Kal?
65.75. How did Makuta had access to the Kal substance?85) When did they get access to that in story?
9Kraata-Kal was a Kraata that was exposed to the Kal substance, how did Makuta had access to the Kal substance?
106. If some Zyglak stunble upon the realm of Karzahni, would they claim that realm as their own?
111) We'll get to that, we have nine more chapters to go 122) Its' been stated since the beginning of the story that he envied Mata Nui, so there is your why right there. 133) Yes 144) It would, yes 155) Well, we know the Makuta know the Bahrag and Bohrok, since Makuta unleashed them and they tried to make fake Bohrok, so it would make sense they would know how the Kal were made. They were made by the Bahrag who lived in the area the Makuta of Metru Nui oversaw, so I doubt it was hard to get a hold of the substance. 166) Zyglak will claim pretty much anything they can get their claws on as their own.
1hi, im new to this site,{not bionicle though, been bionicle since 2001], why cant i ask greg a question.its not letting me. can someone tell me what to do. thanks

3Yes I too can't pm greg but I will try to reach 10 posts
1First, thanks again for the awesome podcast. I guess Takua really did have a whole squad of Vahki assigned to him... 2Anyways, this podcast brings up a few questions:
31. Was the Toa Energy in the Avohkii used up when Takua(real one) became Takanuva? 41b. If it was used up, then it would still be possible for Takua (alt) to become a toa, considering how the energy theoretically would have activated, correct?
52. Currently Takanuva looks just like his original set form in terms of shape an size, exept for some color alteration, correct?
63. Would it be safe to assume that Tuyet did away with Dume?
74. Would it be safe to assume that the metru/mahri are still matoran?
85. Has Takanuva figured out that he once was a av-matoran yet, or does he still think he was a ta-matoran?
96. If Karzahni is teaching matoran in Ga-Metru, would that mean that he isn't nearly as insane as in the 'norma' matoran universe?
107. Being a pocket dimension, what would happen if someone from the pocket dimension climbed up to Mata Nui for exploration purposes? Would this person leave his/her dimension and enter the same surface world we know, or is the whole of the BIONICLE planet emulated in this pocket world?
118. Are the Toa in this dimension inherently evil, forced to follow the will or Tuyet, or just trying to make things run smoothly with an empire of strictly enforced laws rather than the type of government under Dume in the 'normal' universe.
129. Did Tuyet do the things she did because she believed it to be the most beneficial for everyone, or was she just power-hungry.
1310. Do you think you could convince your wife to play the female characters if we meet them (Gali, Tuyet, etc.)
1411. Although they probably won't make an appearance, are the Hagah toa or rahaga in this dimension?
1512. Could Takanuva easily pose as a toa under Tuyet if he wanted to (like how Kapura saw him), or would the fact that no matoran recognize him give him away?
1613. About how many Toa are under Tuyet's command?
1714. Is there any other information you wish to diclose, and are allowed to disclose about bionicle in general in any area that you haven't stated yet? (It's worth a shot...) 1814a. If so, what is it?
1915. How many chapters in each of the serials have you writting? 2015a. Will we see the mutran chronicles part 2 by Friday?
21Have a good day Greg:
22-Nukatha
231) No, Takua is simply not destined to be a Toa in this universe, because the BOM is not a threat. 242) His size has not yet changed, that's correct 253) It's not safe to assume anything in this universe 4) Yes, it would 265) He will figure it out by the end of the year 276) Or it could say something about Tuyet's vision of the reeducational system 287) They would be in our Matoran universe, most likely, but yes, the surrounding universe is duplicated 298) I do not see them as inherently evil. I see them as convinced that maintaining order is more important than justice or mercy. 309) She did it because she felt it would make the universe better if the BOM and DH were eliminated 3110) I can always ask 11) Toa 3212) Yes, he could, he would just have to come up with a good explanation for not having an identity tablet 3313) Well, she took power prior to the Toa-DH war in our universe, and we know there were hundreds of Toa active at that time 3414) Too general a question 3515) Each serial has 10 chapters 3615a) Part 2 is scheduled to go up on Friday, yes
11. Is miserix a prisoner on the southern isles??? 22. Was he friends with momn before he was overthrown?? 33. Do you like having jallers as inika or mahri more,i personally like them as inika more. 44. do you like soccer?
51-2) All of this will get explained in the serial 63) Made no real difference to me 74) Not a big soccer fan
51-2) All of this will get explained in the serial 63) Made no real difference to me 74) Not a big soccer fan
1Somewhat interesting, a theory on Mata Nui I developed in the official topic for him, and this hasn't been disproven by Greg, I think I'm onto something beyond what I stated in the PM, for full information go to the actual topic.
5Beyond stating he has a physical body, I am not allowed to discuss Mata Nui's appearance. As far as the Maori evidence goes, I was not involved with BIONICLE when the original names were chosen, so I have no idea if those names were chosen on purpose or at random because someone liked how they sounded. Certainly some names, like Tahu, seem to have been chosen on purpose, since it means to "set on fire" in Maori -- on the other hand, the original name for the Matoran, Tohunga, means priest, and that has no connection at all to what the Matoran villagers were in story.
2Hello, I have a single question for you.
3In the Mata Nui Status topic I've come up with a theory, it wasn't good at the start and I thought it would be immediatly discredited and disproven, but actually its supported by Adventurer somewhat actually. More has been added my other members, so I have this question that I'm sure you can't answer. Is Mata Nui the whole Matoran universe? Like because things like Mangaia (sp) mean "nose" in Maori along with other features of the island translating into other facial features. So I'm thinking that Mata Nui who is stronger than the Great Beings physically is a collosus (sp). The island Mata Nui would act as the face, Metru Nui below it as the torso. The Matorans work is important meaning they have to maintain the body, parts misplaced like Voya Nui would harm Mata Nui, the parts stop working results in a coma like in anyones body I guess as Adventurer said. 4Am I at all close? I understand if you can't answer anything about it.
5Beyond stating he has a physical body, I am not allowed to discuss Mata Nui's appearance. 11. Is there an international organization in BIONICLE?
22. There're 55 Toa present day, not including Rogue Toa, Right?
33. Are Spinner, Savage, and Prototype the only Rogue Toa alive that we know at this time? 43b. Are other Rogue Toa alive somewhere that we don't know of?
51) Around that number, yes 63) Only ones you know of, yes 73b) It's entirely possible
1My Question:
8Greg's answer:
2Hello:
3I have a few questions about 2008 to ask you:
41) If Makuta Antroz, Vamprah, and Chirox want to defeat the Toa so badly, why don't they just shape-shift into mountain-sized titans and crush the toa with ease?
52) How did Brutaka escape from the giant squid in Bionicle Legends 6, since he is featured in "Federation of Fear"?
63) What happened to Jaller's mask after Karzahni took it?
74) I've heard rumors of there being a new Bionicle movie comming soon: Is this true?
8Greg's answer:
91) Because to shapeshift into something much larger than you are now requires you to get the extra mass from somewhere, and they have no way to do that. 102) He killed it, plain and simple 113) Nothing happened to it. Karzahni kept it and Tahu recovered it during the Nuva Blog serial last year. 124) It's currently scheduled for late 2009
1Hey Greg,
21.) Do the Hagah know that Roodaka is with the OoMN, or at least in the custody of allies, or was she just snatched away from them?
32.) Can a Kualsi wearer teleport somewhere they can't see, say in a life or death situation where they are willing to risk it, or is the mask actually incapable of that?
43.) Probably can't answer but can't hurt to ask: will beings like OoMN members and/or non-Nuva Toa factor into the "final battle," if not directly in THE battle in Karda Nui, than in some other aspect of the climax of saving the universe?
5Thanks a lot:
61) Just snatched away 72) Based on the Encyclopedia definition, no, the mask cannot do that 83) They will factor into battles in web serials this year, most likely, they will not factor into the final battle in Karda Nui.

21) Just snatched away
3The hagahs must have not cared about Roodaka:
4Not really. The OoMN is very good at their job, and Botar can appear in an instant, snatch her away, and be gone the next. The Hagah would have no way of getting her back.
1Hi, 2Hope you are well. Just a few today.
31) You recently said that Midak's and Midak Launchers were adabtable weapons only. Now, I understand that the Toa Ignika creates his by forming it out of organic material, but how does Spiriah get his? I know that Brutaka gives them weapons, but how would he get a weapon that is adabtable only?
42) Do the Toa Mata look any different in this universe than they did in ours? 52a) If so, how?
63) A long while ago soemone asked you why Antoc was red. You replied by saying that it was becasue he leads the Karda-Nui assult. Why is red important? 73a) Does the color red have anything at all to do with Tahu becoming leader of the Toa Mata? 83b) Going further, why are the other MAktua the colors that they are?
94) When MoMN fought the Toa Hagah, did he use the form that he used when facing Tkanuva? 104a) Woudl you say that the form that he used in '03 would be his "standard" form? 114b) Can a makuta shapeshift into whatever he can visualize in his mind?
125) How did the Toa Hagah beat MoMN? Was it: 13a) Experience 14Luck 15c) MoMN threw the fight 16d) Soemthing not here
17Thanks a ton, 18Toa Krogo
19Thanks, 20Toa Krogo
211) This is an easy one. The Toa got their weapons from Artakha, which is why they are adaptable -- and Artakha also provides equipment to the Order of Mata Nui, which Brutaka works for. So Brutaka getting his hands on that kind of weapon is not difficult.
222) No, they don't
233) No, I never said it was because he was the leader. 243a) No 253b) Makuta are shapeshifters, they can look how they like 26On a side note, red characters normally get to be the leaders because red sets sell the best.
274) Probably not 284a) No 294b) Within reason. He cannot turn into something way bigger than his armor is normally, because he has no place to get the extra mass from
305b) Luck, and an intimate knowledge of the Destral fortress since they had worked there for so long.
31Soem stuff that I find interesting.
1Hello Greg, I've just got a few questions about some other races besides Matoran, Steltian and Vortixx being the main ones. 21) Would you say that these races are inherently evil, or just given a bad name by Roodaka and Sidorak? 32) If they are not standardly evil, would you say that their moral code is somewhat lower than that of your average Matoran? 43) Do these races, like the Matoran, have some effect on Mata Nui's health in the manner of trade and the like? 54) Since the Matoran are Mata Nui's chosen people, how would you say the Great Spirit felt about Steltians and Vortixx while he was awake? 6Thanks: 7-Ax-
81) I am hesitant to brand entire races as evil, just because you can look a lot of evil humans, doesn't mean we all are. The Vortixx are business people, they are concerned about profit first and foremost. Is that evil? Depends on your point of view. They would be more than willing to sell to the Toa if the Toa are willing to pay and they aren't running around fighting for the BOM. As for Krekka and Sidorak's species, there really is no evidence that either species is evil, because we haven't seen that many examples of them.
9I see Stelt as being sort of like Tortuga in Earth pirate days -- the place where you can get anything for a price, where traders and rogues come and go, where information flows freely and secrets are sold in every darkened corner. It's a rough place, often a dangerous one, but not an evil one like Destral is.
10Nothing big, I was just wondering about those races. -Ax-
11)I remember you saying that the makuta do not have the ablity to make or re-make their own armor. Is this because their armor is A. made on artaka or B. the shells of their original body?
22) Was the leauge of six kingdomes formed before or after axonn joined the OOMN?
33) Is it safe to say that there could have been other gardians of the Mask of life on the surface of the mainland (like axonn and brutaka were) that were left on the main land or killed when voya nui broke free
41) A. The Makuta are scientists, they aren't blacksmiths. 52) After 63) No. If you have two OOMN members on guard, that is enough to deal with 99% of possible threats.
71) could any being with enugh experiance make Makuta armor or is it specialy made on artaka 83) any chance that other beings were volentarily helping gaurd that wern't stationed there
9PS Just listined to chapter 2 of dark mirror and i think its great
101) Specially made on Artakha 113) No
13) No. If you have two OOMN members on guard, that is enough to deal with 99% of possible threats.
2Is the last 1% the trahison of one member?
3Judging by Brutaka's battle with MoMN in Into The Darkness, I'd guess the 1% is the powerful, self-serving type - like Makuta.
4Axxon and Brutaka were stationed at Mt. Valmai by the OoMN, who we know have been planning for a BoM rebellion before the idea occured to MoMN. Powerful members likes Axx' and Brut' were both there to deal with a BoM attack. Of course, if the BoM attacked in force, that would constitute the 1% that Axx' and Brut' couldn't handle alone.
5All conjecture of course, but it seems reasonable to me
1I don't think it's likely that they were sent there specifically for a Brotherhood attack, as they were stationed there before the Brotherhood became corrupt, and because an Order Member is slightly weaker than a Makuta.

2That depends on the member. Brutaka was tied up with MoMN in ITD. Botar, though, wouldn't be able to do that. The last 1% is basically the Visorak Horde or 3 BoM members.
11) Can Takua link up with Takanuva in the pocket dimension and be able to use special powers? 21b) If yes, does Takanuva know that such a link is possible?
32) Is Mata Nui sleeping in the pocket dimension? 42b) If no, then why are the Toa Mata not sleeping in their canisters?
53) The damage done to Brutaka's mask was caused by the mutagen, correct?
64) The Makuta went into the UC through a western "portal". In this case it just means an opening, right?
75) Are the Matoran in the pocket dimension in their 2004 forms? 85a) If so, is it safe to assume that they rebuilt themselves to look like that in the real dimension to look like that again, because Takanuva didn't notice Kapura looking any different?
9Thanks for your time.
101) No, because Takua's access to those powers is blocked along with his knowledge that he is an Av-Matoran 111a) No 122) No 132b) Don't worry, it all gets explained 143) Correct 154) Yes 165) Yes 175a) Takanuva probably wouldn't have noted the subtle differences between '03 form and '04 form, given the circumstances
