1I asked Greg how Bara Magna was created even though its outside Mata Nui's body, and he said it depends on if you favor a scietific or religious explanation or a combination of both, because the Mata Nui island was outside his body too. Anybody else ever asked him that?

2The Island of Mata Nui is created by Mata Nui's camouflage system when he lands on a planet. The origin of the universe where BIONICLE is set and all its celestial bodies is, at this point, up to your personal beliefs and opinions on the subject. There is no official word.
1Hey Greg, I just wanted to know, official or not, if Strakk does get exiled for his actions in the Ackar arena fight, as Metus (I believe) states.
2Or is this part of the future story? *"Hush*hush"*
3-Pyro
4Right after Strakk's match are the rest of the events of the movie, during which time the Agori are a little too busy worrying about Skrall invasion to deal with administrative matters. They will have time to worry about Strakk's punishment if they survive the war.
5Well, I just wanted to know...

1Hi Greg. I have a few questions about the Core War Contest. (If you already got a similar PM, it totally disappeared from my messenger. )
21. Can I name plants/weapons in a similar fashion to "fireroot" and "Vapor Trident"? For example, in Reign of Shadows, Alternate Teridax said that they had similar plants to the strangling grass of the southern continent on Spherus Magna. I was planning to have the Jungle Tribe have a hedge of this plant around their base to keep out intruders, and calling it "Strangleweed." Would that be okay? 32. Who were the Sisters of the Skrall allied with during the Core War? 43. Was the Great Sea where the Sea of Liquid Sand is now? 54. A bit off topic here, but I think I found something. Tobduk is described as tall, lean, though really quite muscular. He also has the ability to use Kanohi, which I assume his entire species has. 6Now, the Barraki came from species who could use Kanohi, as well. They were also in peak physical condition, which sounds like tall, lean, and muscular to me. 7Third, Chirox wiped out a good chunk of the population of the island of Visorak, conveniently after the Barraki were defeated, though before they were publicly doing evil. I assume he claimed some sort of innocence, but that belies an obvious dislike of the natives. 8My point is, was one of the Barraki of Tobduk's species?
9Thank you very much for your time.
10
111) Yes 122) No one. They did not fight in the war. 133) No. 144) No
15Shoot. I could've sworn I was onto something with #4...
16
1Well, it's not like I was suggesting something; I was just putting apples and oranges together.
16
2Great, thanks.
33. Then were was it, in relation to the Northern Frosts and Bara Magna?
4New ones 51. Can we go into detail about how the Forest of Blades was created? 62. Did the primary residents of Nynrah create the Nui Stone? 72a. Is "Nynrah" the name of the primary species of Nyrnah? Because it says "loot the halls of the Nynrah and Artakha" in the Mutran Chronicles, which sounds like it's referring to those beings to me. 83. Does Tobduk know the location of Artakha?
9Thank you for your time.
10
111) It was a different part of the planet, TJ, it wasn't a place on Bara Magna. It's one of the parts that broke off.
121) If you want 132) Hasn't been revealed 142a) No, that refers to the Nynrah Matoran 153) If he did, he would be dead, I'd assume.
16
1Hi Greg . BZP is back . And so will be the enormous amount of questions that we BZPers will send to you. 2Right, here are some questions: 31.Would it be possible that Makuta(or Mata Nui, in his "alive and well" time) reprogramm the Bohrok to another task or simply tell them to do something else? 42.For the CW contest, can we tell about who lived in Roxtus? 53.What do you think if, after CW contest is done, we do a contest for the Element lords names? 6Thanks for your time, I hope your inbox doesn't get filled up in a couple of days
71) Bohrok, yes, krana, no. We know Matoran were able to repurpose Bohrok that had no krana into performing different tasks, but krana are living things and exist to do what they do. 82) You can simply try 93) No point, M. I can't make names fans come up with canon, because all the names we do have to be run through expensive and extensive legal checks, and I have no budget to get those names cleared.
1Heres some (new???) stuff:
21. Does the story of 2009 end with the ending of The Legend Reborn?
32. I recently saw a clip of TLR on Amazon, Gresh states that hes feeling better due to berix, is this a reference to berix's ability to heal?
43. Is the valley of the maze important in future/present story?
54. Is the attack on tajun a scene in the movie?
6Thanks for your time .
71) No, because the November comic takes place after the movie ends. 82) Watch the movie and find out 93) Yes 104) The afterrmath of it is
111. Is Vastus or Stronius in the movie?
122. How long has time elapsed since Mata Nui's awakening by the great beings and then being put to sleep by Teridax?
133. Do you include some clues about the traitor's identity in RoV? Gresh states that the agori the skrall "helped" was looking for glatorian for raanu.
144.Last of all, is 2010 still in Bara Magna?
15Thanks for your time
161) Stronius is not, to the best of my knowledge. Vastus is. 172) 100,000 years 183) No. That Agori is the hero Agori from the My LEGO Network game, he's not the traitor nor is he in the movie. 194) I cannot discuss 2010 story

1I wouldn't expect him to answer #4.
1Hi Greg, I had just three questions for now that I was wondering about.
21. In the teaser for The Legend Reborn, when the stinger of the Vorox is broken, it sparks. My question is this: Is the stinger of all Vorox mechanical?
32. In my entry for BS01, I wanted to have the EL of fire confront Vastus. I described him as towering a foot over Vastus, with armor that appeared to be on fire, and also had him carrying a whip. Would this be an acceptable description?
43. In Raid on Vulcanus, it talks about Rock Dragons and Sun-Rock Dragons, and in the first comic, Tuma mentions the Sand Dragon. Are they all related with each being a sub-species of a separate one, like how different varieties of sharks are related? If so, is there a name for their group, like Desert Dragons or something like that?
5Thanks Greg. 6~AW
71) Good question. Let me check on what we have in the story bible on that. 82) His armor would make him look like he was literally MADE of fire. Beyond that, it's fine 93) Yes, they are, and I haven't named the group
101. The question came into my mind the moment I saw that scene. 112. Sweet, now to get back to work... 123. Cool.

14Perhaps that particular Vorox and a biomechanical stinger?
1In the recent update of Empire of the Skrall, it states that the Skrall females are " Gifted from birth with psionic powers."
21. Is this meant to imply anything about the way new Bara Manga inhabitants (Or at least Skrall) reproduce? 31a. If yes, I thought that we would not be told how they came into being. Is this the most detail we will get?
42. I recall you saying that "Glatorians" was only used in the marketing, but in the canon it was "Glatorian" for both singular and plural forms. However, in Raid on Vulcanus, page 23, an Agori refers to Gelu and Gresh as "Glatorians". Was this simply a typo?
5Thanks for your time.
6-Canama
71) Well, we already know they aren't built, as they are mostly organic 82) I use Glatorian for singular and plural, the rest of the BIONICLE team does not
91. I still think he's implying something. Now I do even more. 102. Okay. It was a trivial question anyhow.

12Yeah, and someone in EOTS they say "Boy" as in young person.

46And yeah, we'll make that change to Conjuring. (Will be in next version of Multiverse Guide.)

2[Officializing question from bones and Swert to Greg; intro doesn't need to be quoted]
3Why we ask is, we're working on a 100-page guide for the (non-canon) Expanded Multiverse, to put out in a PDF format that can be linked in BZP news even if BZP doesn't come back online in time. Almost everything is done except proofreading and such.
4So anyways, we invented 30 new mask powers for the Multiverse, and I was doing the mask shapes on paper. But I realized that some of the unknown mask powers that were drawn in the comics around 2006 -- and also Vultraz's mask -- looked perfect for some of the powers. So for those powers, we wanted to use the official shapes that don't have powers assigned.
5Would that be okay with you? BS01 would list them as the official powers, but ONLY for the ones that have official art done already, so not the whole 30.
6These are the powers with the links to the pics in question on BS01.
7http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi2.PNG 8Rebound 9Makes projectiles bounce back to you, assuming they don't shatter or explode.
10http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi1.PNG 11Absorbtion 12Temporarily absorb powers of those nearby.
13http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi3.PNG 14Sensory Aptitude 15Improves all five senses, but not as much as an Akaku for example would improve vision.
16http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi1.PNG 17Conjuring 18Uses the fact that Matoran language is programming language -- you can verbally command it what power to have by describing the power you want in detail. Temporary, and you must specify downsides or it ignores you.
19http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi4.PNG 20Fusion 21Basically staff of Fusion power, or Kaita-ization, but you can merge with an enemy for a time. Example use, force an enemy to merge with you as a Kaita, walk to a place where you have the upper hand due to surroundings, and split apart again.
22http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi3.PNG 23Biomechanics 24Have limited control over mechanical robotics, if simple and near you. Examples include strengthening your own mechanical parts, or slowing down opponents' mech.parts. Cannot control clockwork brains but does give a mechanical version of telepathy with robots.
25http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi2.PNG 26Undeath 27A taboo/evil power also considered unlucky to wear. Does nothing while you're alive, except siphon off a fraction of your energy (similar to the Nui Stone). If you're wearing it when you die, it animates your body for as long as it has energy charged up for, and makes your body carry out whatever you would have wanted to do if still alive. When undead your eyes and heartlight are black.
28http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...%27s_kanohi.PNG 29Vulture 30Vultraz's mask. Another evil power, inspired by the Inheritance trilogy. When a being dies in your vicinity, you absorb all their escaping energy.
31http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi1.png 32Age 33Evil power, basically Voporak's aging power, but not as powerful.
34http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi1.PNG 35Untranslation 36Opposite of a Rau, it scrambles the target's speech or writing. Evil power; example use is to scramble the speech of a Toa Team's leader, so the others can't understand their orders.
37http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Imag...ran_Kanohi2.PNG 38Adaptation 39Basically the Rahkshi power that adapts your body to your surroundings, or like adaptive armor.
40And while I'm at it, the 2008 Matoran six Kanohi look an awful lot like noble versions of the Toa Nuva's 2008 masks -- and no official shapes have ever been established for Noble Miru, Kakama, or Akaku. Could those six (including the Shadow Matoran three) be officialized as all Noble shapes corresponding to the Toa or Makuta they could attach to?
41All these mask appearances are listed here on BS01: 42http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Kanohi#Unknown_Kanohi
43So, do you approve?
44The one thing I would add is to the Conjuring one -- factor in some kind of backlash ability, to balance the mask out (otherwise, it could be too powerful). Basically, if you get the slighest thing wrong in your description, you'll wind up with something terrible happening to you (the same way that if you screw up programming, you can crash a program/computer). For that reason, it's not a mask that most want to wear in a potential combat situation, because it's too easy to make mistakes when pressed and they don't want to fry their brains.
45Otherwise, feel free to proceed.
46And yeah, we'll make that change to Conjuring. (Will be in next version of Multiverse Guide.)

47
48So, wait, are these now canon in real BIONICLE, or are they canon in the Multiverse Guide?
49The EM only. They are fanon
1you copy and paste it into a post.
1-Core War Questions-
171) No. He would have had nothing to gain by participating in the war. No one would have allied with him, and he on his own could not have held the territory long enough to use the EP. 182) Sadistic. Cruel. Ruthless. He's a slaver, basically, with all the qualities that choice of profession implies. 193) No, again, he had nothing to gain by it. 204) I believe it would have been during, but I'd have to double-check.
211) I don't believe in doing outlines, but I am also not "visual" really. I think in words, not pictures. I key in on the dialogue and try to treat the characters like they are real people and let them tell me the story, instead of the other way around. 222) No. I don't read a lot of fiction, I mainly read non-fiction.
231) Yes, they do shoot energy. 242) Before 253) ANN-gahnts (pronounced like "fonts") 264) More on him will be coming later in story 275) Species name. More than likely, there is more than one, but given their size and appetite, it's rare to find them living anywhere close to each other.
- 2Even though, Sahmad's tribe was wiped out before the Core War, did he participate in it at all? Because I've got an amazing idea to expand on him and I need him to be able to be in the Core War.
- 3How exactly would you describe Sahmads personality? Is he merciless? Ruthless? Insane? Lost? Very Intelligent? Because he's such a great character with good design and we know barely anything about him.
- 4This goes with Telluris too, is there anything you can give on him? Other than what we know. Did he participate in the war at all? Or at least his Skopio XV-1?
- 5Stronius has always been a Special Forces Skrall correct? Now did he get his name during the Core War or was it after? I wasn't quite sure.
6Okay, that's it for Core War Questions until later. Now onto just questions that regard you. Don't take it as questioning. I just like to know more about you. First time of course. - 7From what I've read of your books. Are you a visual reader/writer? Or do you just make up things as you go along? Because I myself am a visual writer when I write the scripts for my movies.
- 8Have you ever read Michael Crichton's books? Like Jurassic Park? My favorite book by the way.
9Okay, now, just some Bionicle questions. I know I'm so boring. - 10Some questions about the Force Blasters seen on Thornatus V9 and Skopio XV-1. What exactly do they do? I know they don't shoot energy. But I have a guess, but I'm not sure.
- 11Where the Force Blasters created Before, During, or After the Core War?
- 12In your latest Chapter of Empire of the Skrall. How exactly do you pronounce the Great Being "Angonce"?
- 13Did Angonce have any contributions? Besides helping the Female Skrall with there powers? Did he help in the construction of Mata-Nui? Or is this a "Can't discuss" Thing?
- 14About the Skopio. Is Skopio a species name or is it for the one that Mata-Nui, Kiina, and Ackar encountered? Are there several of these enormous beast? An entire species? If yes. Where would they inhabit? In the Sandray Canyon like the one in the preview?

11. There is something I don't understand. The Great Beings somehow got their hands on a very large supply of energized protodermis to use in Mata Nui, which I doubt any tribe would easily hand over, AND the Ice Tribe got their hands on Iron Wolves, creations of the Great Beings, who were unbiased in the war. I think it is reasonable to assume that the Great Beings traded the Iron Wolves in exchange for the Energized Protodermis, which th Ice Tribe had plenty of. Is this it, or did they get it another way?
2Core War Contest Questions:
32. In my story, Strakk betrays Surel to get a higher rank in the army. I just want to ask, do you that is something he might do?
43. Also in my story, the Ice Tribe refers to the Sand Tribe as Dune Spiders, refering to their buggish appearence. Would this be okay?
54. I know you don't normally read fan fiction, however since the Core War Contest entries may become cannon, I just want to make sure, you still read the entries, correct?
61) No, they didn't. They sent Agori out to get them a sample of it, and then were able to put the EP into an environment where its volume would increase. The war was going on at that point, they would not have handed weapons to any side.
72) Depends. Does anyone besides Surel know he did it? And what would he get out of having a higher rank? Would it be worth his risking execution?
83) I never thought of the Vorox as looking like bugs.
94) No, I don't. The judges read them, whittle them down to a very small number of finalists, and then let me know what events happen in the finalist stories so that I can tell them if those events can or can't happen in story. I don't have time to read the stories myself.

10A lot of people don't consider scorpions to be bugs.
11Which what the Vorox are based off of.
1Hey Mr. Farshtey .
2How ya' doin'? Well, enough of the chit chat. I have some questions (who dosen't?).
31.) Is there any sort of afterlife in bionicle?
42.) Will Lesovikk, Sarda, and Hydraxon be appearing in the serials?
53.) How about Takanuva and the still-very-mysterious-teleportation-thingy-on-destral?
64.) What is your favorite serial to write for?
75.) You know the "Sandray Canyon" clip from the movie? Well, when the camera moves to above the Skopio, we see something that suspiciously looks like Tellurius. Is this Tellurius's Skopio XV-1, or did the animators simply incorperate Tellurius's figure into the Skopio's anatomy? Please answer this, because the issue has got it's own topic .
86.) If the Agori were more receptive to Sahmad and Telluries's tribe (e.g., offering assistance), do you think the two might have wound up on the side of good? Or are they just plain anti-social?
97.) We know that Sahmad is definetly a bad guy, but what about Tellurius? Is he basically bad, basically good, or in some kind of "grey area?"
108.) Why is Raanu making such a big fuss over the loss of his secondary glatorian? (Malum) I mean, the guy has two of the best vehicle pilots to ever skid into the arena (Perditus and Crotesius) fighting for his village . It can't be that bad.
119.) In "Raid on Vulcanus," Gelu stated that there hadn't been exidian in Vulcanus for 15,000 years. If that's so, then what about "The Crossing?" (Yes, some of us still remember that) Weren't the characters there transporting exidian to...guess where...Vulcanus . Well?
12Well, I hope you can answer my questions .
13Sincerly, Toa Tiphus.
141) Not something we touch on in BIONICLE, because it is basically a religious issue, and when you start getting into religion, you start offending people. 152) Don't know. I don't plan the serials out ahead of time, I write them as they come to me. 163) Same answer 174) Each one is very different, so I don't really have a favorite. 185) Far as I know, Telluris is not in that scene. He wasn't when I saw it. 196) I think they would have had to be more open to helping their tribe when they were dying, first. 207) Telluris is a nutcase. 218) But what if the match is not a vehicle match? You can't say, okay, Strakk is coming today, we'll send the Cendox against him. Vehicle matches have to be agreed to beforehand, and both tribes have to have a vehicle. Now, if you know he has good vehicle pilots, but only one regular Glatorian, would you opt for a vehicle match if your goal is to win? 229) But what he had told Strakk was that there was exsidian beneath Vulcanus, exsidian that could be mined. That would have made the village wealthy and it's very different from getting a wagonload cause you won a match. If you bring a canteen into the Sahara, does that mean you can say, "There is water in the Sahara today ." No, because what you're discussing is when was the last time water was a natural feature in that desert, not the last time some of it passed through with someone.
11.Do scarabax beetles have wings under their shells? 22.Were the force blasters used in the Core War? 33.Were the Ancient Spear in the MLN game used in the war? 44a.What is the life expectancy of Agori and Glatorian? 54b.Do the implants increase their expectancy? 65.Does rock salt make thornax stew taste better? 76.How valuable are red pearls 87.Are Agori Honor Badges worn by the bearers? 9Thank you
101) Yes, they can fly 112) Yes 123, 6, 7) I wasn't that involved in design of the MLN game, so I don't know what you're referring to 134) Well, we know most of them are well over 100,000 years old, so it's pretty long. 144b) I tend to think not. They are mostly organic, and the implants tend to be in joints and such, not major organs. 155) Nothing can make Thornax stew taste better
16A few things confirmed.
1thats not good. i actually got a pm from him just before the forms went down asking a question, and i still havn't pmed him back the answer because of this whole situation. 2actually i don't think i posted the conversation yet. ill just post it now, just in case.
3hiya Greg, i only have two questions this time, what a releif huh? now you only have 100 something more questions to go.
41.in the crossing Tarduk mentions Scorpions-Giants in the caves. are these the giant scorpions in the background of the Skrall canisters or the skopio ones?
52. in the crossing they encounter dune snakes. are these the ones/related to the ones from which Vastus extracts the venom from and models his amour after?
6thanks a ton, 7Redge the Bat. 8_
91) You're going to have to give me the actual line from the story -- in a lot of cases, the translations are messed up and don't match what I originally wrote. 102) No 11_
12thank a ton. here is the line
13"-Scorpion-giants are worse - declared Tarduk, feeling a chill on his spine. -I ran into them a few times in the past, back when I was looking for artifacts in caves." 14_
15Do you know what chapter that is from?
16-------------------- 17"If you're wondering how he eats and breathes, and other science facts/Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show, I should really just relax." -- MST3K
18i hope its the ones on the back of the skrall canister. i got those guy canon-ized and i want a name for them.

1I guess the MLN stuff is off limits for the Core War story then.
1Instead of a pact not to PM Greg can we get a pact to not post here unless we have Greg quotes? I think that would probably do more good than anything else.
61Just some stuff I had. I posted some of it before, but not all of it, cuz it had RoV spoilers.
2Hey Greg. I had a few quick question about some things you had mentioned earlier, that I needed clarification for.
31. You once implied that the Vorox were genetically modified by the Great Beings, which is how they ended up with stinger tails. Is this true? 41a. Does the same apply to the Zesk? 52. Since Sahmad is a somewhat ally of Roxtus and the Rock Tribe, does he join them for Arena battles? 62a. Same with Telluris? 73. Will the two trainees that die in RoV get named beforehand?
8Thanks in advance if you can answer any of these .
91-1A) I think it's very likely 102) No. Has no reason to do so. He does arena battles only with villages he has stolen Agori from, to give them a chance to "win them back." He does not steal rock Agori. 112a) Telluris has no relationship with the rock tribe at all. Only Sahmad does, because he does business with them 123) No.
13Ah, thank you for these answers, they raise some interesting questions.
141. Why would they do this? Based on Brothers in Arms, it's fairly clear that they have no moral qualms about experimenting on living beings, but what purpose did experimenting with the Sand Tribe serve? 152. Who does he accompany into the arena, then? Or can there be Agori only arena battles?
164. Perditus participated in the Core War, yes? 174a. Was he also present for the latest Great Tournament, when the Skrall attacked? 185. Were there any more elemental based tribes on Spherus Magna, or just the seven that we know of?
19Also, as the new official pronunciation guy, I have been beset with several requests for pronunciations, so could you kindly tell us how to pronounce:
20Midak 21Mohtrek 22Niazesk 23Nikila 24Manutri 25Lewa
26Again, thanks if you can answer these ^^
271) Knowledge 282) He doesn't accompany anyone, nor does he fear fighting a Glatorian 294) Yes 304a) Yes 315) Not that I know of
32MY-dack 33MOE-treck 34NEE-uh-ZESK 35nih-KEE-lah 36my-NEW-tree 37LAY-wah, per the encyclopedia
38Thanks a lot, thos answers really helped. Just a few more follow-ups, if you wouldn't mind...
391. Did their experiments extend beyond giving them stinger tails, or was that it? 401a. Did the experiments have anything to do with their "social devolution"? 412. He uses his vehicle (the Baranus) in these type of combats, yes? 422a. Are other Agori also allowed to do this? 434. Is Perditus allowed to participate in the Great Tournament, then? 444a. If so, how? It seems a little unfair to give one Glatorian a vehicle, and leave the other with only weapons. 455. There are more than one of the certain Bara Magna vehicles, right? For instance, Metus' Thornatus is a seperate vehicle than Perditus' and there are more Cendox vehicles than just Crotesius'.
46I also just read Raid on Vulcanus (FANTASTIC book, by the way) and had a few questions about that too.
471. Metus mentions that he managed to recruit Gresh for a fight against Ackar. Something Metus mentioned made it sound like this was on behalf of Tajun, is this accurate? 482. The star of the MLN campaign (affectionately known as the "Hero Agori") is mentioned by Gresh. Based on the context, it sounds like he is actually of the Fire Tribe. Is this true? 493. What was the fight of Ackar and Strakk over? The damage Strakk caused to the inn?
50Again, thanks if you can answer these.
511) That was it 521a) No 532) Yes 542a) Yes 554) Yes 564A) There is a vehicle division. Pilots in vehicles fight other pilots with vehicles, they don't fight Glatorian or Agori without vehicles. 575) Most likely, yes 581) No. Gresh would not fight for Tajun, Gresh fights for Tesara. 592) What context was that? 603) Which fight? I wrote that book a year ago, so I need more context than that.
61Just some stuff I had. I posted some of it before, but not all of it, cuz it had RoV spoilers.
1So, wait, are these now canon in real BIONICLE, or are they canon in the Multiverse Guide?
2"Canon" means in real Bionicle. The other stuff in the guide is strictly non-canon; only "fanon" (other than the Tuyetverse Olmak). Remember, those were official mask shapes already, we just didn't know what the powers were. Now we do.
3and i don't meann to nitpick but it is now called the Inheritance Cycle, not the inheritance trilogy.
4AND WHERE IS MY 1 YEAR VAHI .?
5Yeah, thought of that belatedly. I suppose I should fix the part of the Guide that says that... *fixes*

2Actually, if I'm not mistaken, "canon" can be used to refer to stuff in fan-works as well. That is to say, stuff in the Ranma 1/2 fanfic "Side by Side" are canon as far as "Side by Side" is concerned, stuff in the "Expanded Multiverse Guide" are canon as far as the "Expanded Multiverse" is concerned. It's just that stuff in "Side by Side" is not necessarily canon as far as Ranma 1/2 as written by Rumiko Takahashi is concerned, and stuff in the "Expanded Multiverse", either the guide or otherwise, is not necessarily canon as far as the official Bionicle storyline is concerned.

2Yes, the term can mean that. But I was asking Greg, who is in charge of Bionicle. In Bionicle terms, only the official Bionicle storyline and factoids as approved by the story team (Greg mainly) are canon. All fan-created stuff besides what he approves is non-canon. And in the Multiverse, we're not getting into confusing uses of the term like that -- Bionicle official story is "canon" and Multiverse is merely "fanon." I am a little curious why I would be asking Greg if something could be "fanon" when we can do that on our own and he's not involved with that?
3However, for those that are still not sure for whatever reason, Swert is asking Greg to confirm his confirmation clearly.
1My point, Bones, is that the person was asking if the stuff was canon in Official Bionicle Canon, or if it was only canon in the Expanded Multiverse... thing. Yet, you essentially said that "because it's not Official Bionicle, it's not canon." I was just pointing out that while it may not be Official Bionicle Canon, it still has its own degree of canon.

2Yet he just pointed out that those are indeed now Official Bionicle Canon masks powers and forms.
3So, for clarity, forget the Expanded Multiverse exists for a moment. They just canonized a whole bunch of masks. And then they have the nerve to debate "Tidal Spear."

5Don't forget "Avalanche Spear".
6On a serious factor though, its nice to have some of the comic masks have powers. I could see some of these comming up in ROS.
1So...all those Kaohi powers are canon?
1OK Guys lets get back on topic. And yes, Lavid Nuva, they are.
1Following up on bonesiii's PM asking to canonize those masks, I wanted to know if you said they would become canon, or did you mean we were allowed to use them? For the record, bones had meant them to become official canon, not merely for us to use.
2This is merely to clear up ALL confusion. Thanks. -Swert
3It's fine for them to be canon
4Confirmed. -Swert
1Cha-ching, more mask names. Interesting.

2Well, as the guy in charge of S&T, let me just say that for the purposes of this forum division, I don't see the point in being so confusing about the terms. "Canon" in S&T means "officially part of Bionicle as stated by a story team member", and everything else is non-canon. Plain, simple, and not confusing.
3When you start to say things like "Canon in Official Canon with its own degree of canon"... Oy. Confusing, yanno?
4As far as I have ever seen, Bionicle doesn't work like that, in most cases. Something is either canon, or not. Some exceptions in the MNOG, I'll grant you, where it's called "Semi-canon", but that just means canon unless contradicted by something else anyways. Something is either approved by the story team, or not. In general.
5(And thanks to Swert for getting that cleared up. )
6*back on topic now please*
