13a ) Did the Nynrah build the exo-toa? 2b ) Did they build the 'Fohrok'? (fake bohrok)

33a) Yes 43b) Yes

5Wait, wasn't it stated that the crafters of the Fohrok sabotiged the machines after they found out that they were used for evil, and were sentenced to death??

6So maybe they're dead. Wasn't adapting the Makuta armor the last thing we know they did?

7Maybe that's why they are called Nynrah ghosts, because they are dead . Although I don't think there are spirits in Bionicle.
#2202
1No they are not
2Hi Again,
3In regard to my early questions involving artakha:
41) From the encyclopedia it seems that quite some people knew about artakha, were they all killed?
52) Did the BOM have any records about it's location ?
63) The dark hunters?
74) Did the OoMN kill any other makuta or hunters for knowing anything about artakha
85) How does the Order know that nobody knows about the location of artakha? People could have kept it quit after all.
9Regarding the nynrah ghosts
101) Are they (the ghosts) responsible for most BOM inventions and machinery?
112) Are they still alive? (executed for betraying the BOM?)
123) Do the Mistika Makuta wear Ghost blasters specifically for combat with the Toa?
134) Are the Toa's blasters more effective against the Mistika makuta then midaks would?
14Again, thanks..

151) Yes 162) If they had, they would have been destroyed by the OOMN 173) No 184) Anyone who knew the location was killed 195) Well, if they keep it quiet and don't ever act on what they know, then their knowing is not a problem, right? The second they reveal they do know or attempt to act on that knowledge, the OOMN will eliminate them.
201) No 212) Yes, they are still alive and active 223) No, they couldn't be sure they would be fighting Toa in the core, only that they might be. 234) I wouldn't say more effective, no
#2203
11) what will happen when kardas reaches metru-nui? 22) how exactly is icarax in pain? 33)if you were to guess what are the chances of mazeka being 4a matoran not from the 6 main tribes?
5thanks in advance 6-zee :tohu:

71) Well, knowing Kardas as you do, what do you think will happen? 82) Think about putting your foot in a shoe that's three sizes too small, then multiply that feeling by a hundred 93) I think highly unlikely. I doubt they are going to do a whole new color for a store exclusive set.
101 is promsing.
11-zee :tohu:
#2204
1Hang on... I thought Greg said before that Mazeka wasn't a store exclusive? And now he just did?
#2205
1Hi, Mr. Farshtey. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions...
21. The Rahi that Vican rode, does it have the Shadow Matoran's memories, since the whole Shadow Matoran got flung in the vat with the viruses? 31a. If not, does the mutation process, if there is too much done, remove memories? 41b. If not 1a, was the process just so traumatic that it caused amnesia?
52. Are the Nynrah ghosts craftsmen that are particularly skilled in stealth, hiding and working? 62a. Did they work for the BoM willingly, or were they forced to make the Exo-Toa and Fohrok and the NGBlasters?
73. You've said that something bad will happen to anyone in the core if and when Mata Nui wakes up. Does this mean that Karda Nui is sort of like mata Nui's house? And the something bad is him punishing the intruders in his dwelling?
84. You've said that the two Mistika teams Nynrah Ghost Blasters do different things. Do these things vary amongst the individual members of the teams?
95. You've also said that the Mistika Nuva's weapons are not more or less effective against the Makuta than Midaks. Does this mean that the Mistika Nuva's NGBlasters shoot light, just like the Midaks? 105b.And the Makutas' shoot shadow?

111b) Would be most likely 122) They aren't the easiest people to find, that's true 132A) No, they did it willingly -- they love to work, it's their passion. 143) I can't discuss this 154) Don't think so 165) Not in the same way, no 175b) No. Makuta don't need a weapon to shoot shadow, they can do that naturally.

181-Just a little something I was curious about... 192-Hm. 203-Interesting...don't know if it's just the big Mata Nui talk is a no-no thing, or if I'm close to it...*shrug* 214.Okay 225a- Now we know what the Nuva's NGBlasters do . 235b-Back to the drawing board.
#2206
1I doubt the Nynrah are dead...or even in the matoran universe, or on the planet for that matter...
2Mabye their the beings in the "red star"?think about it, their skilled crafters (could make the red star) and are good at hiding(who expects them to be in a supposed star?) hmm....
#2207
1Hello again, just some questions for you: 21.
3Hello Greg, I hope you're well. I'll keep these short for you: 46. If a new being came into existence while Mata Nui was asleep/dead, how would they receive a destiny?

56) Good question, would have to think about it.

6Have you come to a decision about this yet?
72. I know kanohi change color based on their wearer, so the black Avohkii makes sense after his drain, but it was gold before Takua ever wore it. So, storylinewise, shouldn't the mask still be gold?
83. Would Gorast's control disrupting mask work on a Makuta's kraata powers?
94. I'm not sure but I think you said that either the red star, or the blade burrowers map was important to the future, not neccisarily 2009. Which one was it?
105. In Dark Mirror 6, I somehow got the impression that Lesovikk had history with Tuyet. Is this founded, or just imagined on my part?
116. Is it possible Lesovikk was on Lhikan's team? I'm not asking for a definitive, just the possibility.
127a. Since treasures of the empire are in the Colosseum, but the Kraahkan is in the archives, does that mean it's not considered a treasure by Tuyet/the empire? 13b. If so, why?
14Please answer what you can. Thank-you for taking the time to read this, and thank you in advance for answering them.
15-Shardwing Prime-

161) With 50 PMs a day coming in, I haven't had time. 172) But if it was, would he look that much different? The mask color change is meant to be a graphic way of showing he has changed. 183) If the kraata power is in use when she is using it, yes 194) The map is more important than the star is, at this juncture 205) I have no doubt Tuyet would have attempted to recruit him, as she did other Toa. Plus she has been sending people after him for ages. 216) No. Lesovikk was part of the first Toa team ever -- Lhikan's team was thrown together when the Kanohi Dragon was attacking Metru Nui, long after Lesovikk's team was dead. 227) Well, it's a Great Mask, it's not a legendary mask ... it's already protected against theft there ... and it's there to torment Teridax with the fact that he wants it, it's right there, and he can't have it.

231.Nothing really important, though we have a bit more about about DM Lesovikk...

#2208
1Afternoon, Greg . I had a few questions...
21) When you say that the Three Virtues Symbol is 'not of this universe', do you mean that it's physically not or that it wasn't made in this universe?
32) Why did the GB's not destroy the Zyglak knowing that they were a threat to the Matoran?
43) Will we learn of the 'object' that the Bahrag dipped in the EP? 53a) Could you tell us now, or would it spoil something?
64) How did the GBs get the organic material?
75) So would you say that the Matoran Universe was a 'blank slate' waiting to be painted by the GBs?
86) Does the Vahi have anything to do with the Sundial? 96a) When does Takanuva shrink it (book-wise)?
107) Will we see Norik and Iruini in DM?
118) Why did the GBs give the Krana the ability to attach to a Matoran/Toa's face?
129) Why are Sea Spiders afraid of Krana?
1310) Was Mangaia a play off of Mangai?
14Thanks .

151) I am referring to what it is a map of 162) Because they were still the GB's creation .. if you have a child and he turns out bad, do you just go destroy him? 173) Not something I have time to worry about at the moment. 184) Can't answer it 195) They created the universe, so I don't think you can say that. It didn't exist beforehand for them to change. 206) No 216A) Bionicle Legends #10 227) No idea. 238) I already answered this one today -- if something gets in the way of a Bohrok, what is a more merciful thing to do? Destroy the obstacle or absorb it into the swarm? 249) Because krana feel "wrong" to them 2510) No idea, I did not come up with those names or name those places, that was before my time on BIONICLE.

261) Ah 272) But I thought you said that the GB's didn't care about their creations...? 283) Will we learn of it sometime? 294) 'Kay 305) But did they create the planet? 316) IT kinda seemed like it... Time and a sun-clock :P327) Would be cool... 338) Ok 349) Like 'creepy' wrong or 'shouldn't be here' wrong? 3510) Seems like it...
36And some new Q's:
371) If Mata Nui gives everyone their destiny, then how come he didn't know Matoro's destiny to sacrifice himself for him, because of the Makuta? 381a) By this I mean, how did he not know that the Makuta would attack if someone's destiny says so?
392) Will we learn how the Kanohi are made, besides Kanoka?
403) Were did the Bohrak Va come from?
414) Do only the Bohrak carry their kind of sheilds?
425) Who all (besides the Makuta) have the ability to create Rahi?
436) What kind of Toa was the one on Lhikan's Team that wore a Kakama?
447) Do you think that you will have another Toa contest in the Fall to make some previous (or even present) cannon Toa? Would be cool...

452) Within reason. But there is a difference between creating something and letting it sit on a shelf and get dusty or maybe neglecting it, and actually destroying it. 463) I don't have plans to deal with it this year, and next year we are not in this universe. 479) Both 481) Interesting question -- even if you set someone's destiny, can you change it? The other thing is, sometimes you may know where someone will end up, but not how they will get there. Maybe what the Makuta will eventually wind up doing IS what they are supposed to do, they simply got there in a nasty and destructive way. 492) I doubt I will have room this year to go into that, since main story has nothing to do with it. 503) Made by the Great Beings 514) Think so 525) Artakha has done it, but it's not really his thing. Beyond that, I don't think anyone. 536) Hasn't been revealed 547) Nothing planned at the moment.

55Some REAL interesting stuff here...
#2209
1:happydance:I just got these from Greg today. Some stuff about Takanuva and Vultraz.
2Hey Greg, I got some questions that are burning a hole in my brain for answers, so here you go.
3Stuff about Dark Mirror 41. In chapter 6, Toa Bomonga said Brutaka tried to prevent our lawful exploration of Voya Nui. After this, did the Ignika come intothe possesion of the Toa Empire?
52. This may sound stupid but, When Bomonga also said that Odina was "Cleaned out", does that mean the Toa wiped out all the Dark Hunters on the island? 62b. If so, did the same happen to Destral in the pocket dimension?
73.Since Lake Naho was named after the deceased Toa Naho and Mount Ihu was named after the Ko-Matoran Ihu , could it be safe to assume that other locations on Mata Nui were named after past heroes or matoran?Like Kanae Bay, Tiro Canyon or even the Motara Desert?
84.With the appearence of Toa Lesovikk and him saving Takanuva, could this lead to a temporary teamup? :begging:

9And some other questions...
105.Was it Vamprah or Vultraz that discovered Karda Nui for the Brotherhood?
116.Could the OOMN spy in the Dark Hunters be Phantom or Shadow Stealer, am I getting warm? 126b.If not is it someone we have yet to meet in storyline?
137.Is Takanuva's size increase permanent or can he be returned to normal size at the end of this year?
148.Does Takanuva get his Power Lance in 'The Journey Of Takanuva' or sometime on Metru Nui.
159.Could there be a Mask of All-Seeing(clairvoyance) or Technopathy? That would be SO epic .
1610. Could some of these powers be Toa Elements in the future? 17-Acid 18-Weather Control (or 'Storm' as I call it :happydance:) 19-Lava (just a thought) 20-Insect Control :shrugs:
21That's all for now, Thanks.
22P.S. Can't wait for the Summer Serials to come out, Winter one's are awesome...

231) I tend to doubt it, I don't think it was that through of an explanation. If it had been, he would have mentioned Axonn as well. 242) They definitely invaded both bases and scattered the inhabitants. Those who are left are in hiding other places. 253) It's possible, but whether I will be able to identify who those people were is problematic, given my space constraints 264) Yes 275) Vultraz discovered it, but did not tell the BOM, Vamprah was the one who found it for the BOM 286) Not someone I have identified at this point, since I have had no need to in the story 297) If he leaves Karda Nui, he will go back to his normal size 308) I have to write a side story about that 319) Interesting ideas 3210) Acid, no; lava, no; not sure about anything having to do with Rahi; and weather control can basically be done by a Toa of Air and Water working together or a Toa of Ice, not sure you need a special Toa just for that.

33Thoughts
341. Interesting... 352. Cool 363. Oh... 374. 385. omg, Vultraz didn't tell them? I smell deception . 396.Oh well. 407. Yes, I knew it . 418. Cool... 429. :smeag: 4310. :(

3Sorry, so much wrong with this. 4The Nynrah are in fact Matoran, that has been confirmed, so it would follow that they are in the Matoran universe. There's no space travel in Bionicle, and the Makuta don't know how to leave the planet, so they're on this world. Also Gali would recognize them as Matoran when she saw them through the telescope.

1I am so giddy right now :) :
2Hi Greg, hope you're doing well.
3I have a request for you - I completely understand if you cannot do it, but I thought it was worth asking. Can you somehow include, in either the winter or summer serials, Catapult Scorpians? It is one of my favorite Rahi, and it has had no storyline apperances up until this point.
4I also just thought to ask you since you are taking some requests for apperances, considering this is the last year in the Matoran universe. Oh, one more thing - I'm not sure if you can answer this, but are there Rahi guarding Miserix's prison?
5Thanks for reading this, 6~Hydro

7I will see what I can do, and on your second question, answer is definitely yes.

8YES .
9...
10Sorry. That went a lot better than what I expected... maybe there will be Catapult Scorpians guarding Miserix, Hm?

1Hello there, Greg. Just a few quick questions.
21) Just so I'm clear, does the timeline go BL9, BL10, DM, FoF, BL11?
32) Is the prospect of time travel even possible in the BIONICLE Universe (without the use of the Vahi), correct?
43) Is the Matoran language utilized by every character in the BIONICLE Universe save Rahi? 53a) I realize the language is a language all its own, but beyond certain words is it basically English, or is it English solely for our sake so we can read it?
64) You recently said that the Three-Virtues Map extends far beyond this universe. Were you referring to the Domed Universe, or the whole universe the BIONICLE planet is set in?
75) Was the evolution of the Makuta a choice, or natural occurence? 85a) If it was a choice, would it be possible that one or two Makuta chose to remain biomechanical?
96) Are the vid-screens in Metru Nui being utilized since the return of the Matoran?
107) When Mata Nui was awake, was he aware of the contingencies set in place to wake him up should he fall asleep?
118) Save the Order of Mata Nui, everyone in the BIONICLE universe writes on stone tablets, correct?
129) In the MNOLG, there is a Book of Chronicles that records events in video format for playback. Is this item canon?

131) Yes 142) The only version of time travel we have is the use of Bitil's mask, which summons past incarnations of himself to the present 153) No. While it is a well-known language, not every intelligent species uses it. Zyglak, for example, understand Matoran but detest ever speaking it. 164) The domed universe 175) Natural 186) They probably will be eventually 197) Yes 208) OOMN did not write that parchment, the Great Beings did. 219) That seems way beyond the tech level that was present on Mata Nui, to me.

22Hello again, Greg. A few more questions.
231) Since Hydraxon II still exists, was that Dekar's destiny all along, or was the Ignika just a tad neglectful in fixing what it had done?
242) Do the Matoran have music aside from tribal drums?
253) Even though the Matoran species has an exceptionally long lifespan, have there been any instances of one or more dying from old age?
264) Do the Matoran have any form of communication faster than traveling from village to village or carrier rahi?
275) Before the Catclysm, was Metru Nui essentially the Hub of the Domed Universes?
286) Besides Bitil's Kanohi, is there the possibility for time travel in the BIONICLE Universe?
297) Av-Matoran are statistically more likely to become Toa than any of the other tribes. Since this is true, why exactly do the other tribes even exist? 307a) Is it solely for the purpose of diversity? 317b) Is it for the ability for future Toa to control elements other than Light? 327c) Is there an unknown reason for their existence?
338) Can Kraata and Krana act in each other's armors?
349) Have other beings in the BIONICLE Universe thought of any grand, drawn-out plans like Teridax?
3510) Has any being thought of a countermeasure for Teridax's plan?

361) It was his destiny all along, yes 372) Not that we have seen 383) I am sure there have been 394) No 405) It was one of a few very important cities 416) No. Time travel is a fantastic way to screw up a continuing story. 427) Because they have work of their own to do. Ta-Matoran, for example, work in forges and have a natural resistance to heat. Av-Matoran have no such resistance and so would be lousy at working in forges. Matoran exist to work, the purpose of their lives is not to become Toa. Only a relative handful will ever become Toa. 437b) Again, you are approaching the question as if the sole reason for a Matoran to live is to become a Toa. Toa protect the Matoran, so the Matoran can do their work -- but it's the Matoran who matter most, because they are the ones doing all that work. It's sort like saying, "Only a small percentage of people will become superheroes, so what is the point of having people that don't?" 448) No 459) Not that we have seen 4610) No, because the only ones who know of the plan are the BOM and Zaktan, neither of whom has any reason to stop it.

47Nothing really new. Just some clarification stuff.
#2213
11. Could the Onu-Matoran shown here possibly be Midak? 22. You have said that the Order has a spy in the DH. Have we heard of him before? 32a. Is it Shadow Stealer? 43. Is the Red Star on the BB map? 53a. Is the middle dot the Matoran Universe/Planet? 63b. Is the middle dot the red star?

71) Midak has never appeared anywhere 82) I haven't determined who it is yet, and won't unless I need to for story. 93) No, it is not.

10Not much.
#2214
Teridax-MoMN

12) Why did the GB's not destroy the Zyglak knowing that they were a threat to the Matoran?
22) Because they were still the GB's creation .. if you have a child and he turns out bad, do you just go destroy him?

3I don't think that's a valid comparison, haha. You don't have a child and abandon it forever either. Also, Greg has compared the GBs to someone building with LEGO Bricks, in that they really don't care about ripping them apart and starting over (referring to MoLi's doomsday function).

1I think we should stop bugging Greg about the OoMN spy in the DHs :(
2Dear Greg, I have soem questions,
31. Is the OOMN in the DH a dark hunter we have heard about? 42. Would the Phantoka makuta really kill the toa if they had the chance? 53. What happens to the shadow and Av-matoran in the villages when the Phantoka go to the swamp? 64. Why was Krakua, a novice toa, chosen to be on Metru Nui instead of an experienced member? 75. Exactly when was Krakua transformed into a toa? (like when the barraki were chasing the mahri or something) 86. Are there more than one OOMN spy in the DH? 96a. Will he be revealed? 106b. When 117. Exactly who diescovered Karda Nui for the BoM, Vamprah or Vultraz? 128. When is the next serial episode? 138a. Is it FoF? 149. What was the energy the Kal were exposed to that transformed them?
15Thanks . 16P.S. Who is your favorite makuta phantoka and why?

171) This is like the fifth time I have gotten this question today -- is there a topic on this or something? 182) Probably not, because if they do, they screw up the plan 193) They go down too 204) Basically, because the OOMN needed their own Toa to do this job, not someone who belonged to a team whose absence would have to explained or who might object to the OOMN's way of doing things. 215) I don't have exactly when, I have generally when, which is before Lesovikk came to the Pit. 226) See answer to #1 237) Vamprah. Vultraz discovered it and did not tell the BOM. 248) FOF should be next, yes, and it will be as soon as I get the chance to write it. 259) Hasn't been revealed 2610) Mutran, because he is so wonderfully nuts

1Important
2I see this as kind of important from Greg. As you may know I have been saying we should give him a week or so off and even made a blog entry on it. I have sent a follow up, but this is what I recieved from him. I still see it as important.
3Hello sir, I just have this quick question. 4We know you've been busy, and as I've said in my blog entry we should give you a week off of PMs so you can get caught up. Would you like that? I mean we know you're human and can only do so much, and we do know you like PMs, but still, you have many yet by the sound of it, so please give confirmation if you'd like us to stop PMing you for a set amount of time so you can get caught up. Just say the word and I'll do my best to enforce it with others who aren't desperatly PMing you almost daily for answers. 5I hope that you will ask for the week off, we value you here and want you to keep answering our (seemingly) unending questions, and with what, 50 Pms daily? I don't think you deserve that, working for Lego, writing the books and serials, possibly writing some of your own books as it said in your blog entry and being married. You deserve this.
6And just let me say thank you for putting up with those who keep PMing you on a possible daily basis.

7That is very kind of you, thank you.
8I won't ask for it just now, but I may well ask for it in a couple of months. I just bought a house today (you are the first person to hear that news), so my wife and I will be moving in early summer and I will probably be offline for a little bit ... so that will be a good time for folks to take a little break.

1QUOTE 2Some Tren Krom related questions that I derived from the latest FoF
31. Why did the Great Beings feel the need to bind Tren Krom to the island? 41a. What would have happened if they had not?
52. Is there any way to release Tren Krom from the island?
63. If Tren Krom were to be released, could he resume his original purpose in Karda Nui?
74. Did the Great Beings create any other fully organic life? 84a. Why or why not?
95. What does Tren Krom do for entertainment (he must be bored)?
106. Why did the Great Beings leave Tren Krom alive?
117. Did Carapar actually pose a threat to Tron Krom, or was his death just a show of Tren Krom's power?
128. You've mentioned that you play video games in your blog, have you ever played the Halo Series? 138a. If so, did the Gravemind help inspire Tren Krom, in addition to H.P. Lovecraft's works?
14Thanks for answering my questions.

151) Well, would you want someone that powerful with no real job anymore running around loose? 162 Unknown 173) No, because Mata Nui is doing that job. 184) Sure, the krana 195) He is bored, yes 206) Same reason they did the zyglak -- he was their creation. Even if a creation has no use or turns out bad, it's still your creation, and you still feel some attachment to it. 217) I don't see Carapar as posing a huge threat, but you don't let someone just attack you whenever they feel like it. 228) No. If I recall correctly, Halo is a first-person shooter -- I can't play those, I get motion sick from them after half an hour or so. 238a) No familiarity with Gravemind, other than people mentioning the name on here

1Yet none will die this year, GregF said no deaths.

2He said no heroes would die. Meaning the Nuva and Takanuva, although it might also include the major Matoran. :)

3Did he really? That's lame. One of the Nuva dying or Taka dying would be much better than whiny Matoro dying. Especially if it's during an seemingly-non-important event, kinda like how Botar died. Botar's death was the most realistic one we've seen yet, next to Mavrah's.
#2232
1We don't actually know if Mavrah is dead. :P
2But it's already done that Matoro is dead, so it'd be repetitive if a hero dies again... :)
#2233
1I believe Greg confirmed a while back that Mavrah is dead, but I digress :P
2And yes, no dying heros or good turning bad, Greg doesn't like to repeat himself.

11) If transfer Toa Energy into Turaga, will they turn to Toa again? 22) If answer of 1) is no. What will they become? 33) Are there any ways to reverse Mutran's experimentation on Shadow Matoran? 44) Are Shadow Matoran's wings part of Mutran's experimentation 55) I know that Makuta don't need to sleep, but can they sleep? 66) If answer of 5) is no. Can they be knocked out? 77) Being with elemental power can creates its element from thin air, right? 88) Which is the effect of Kirop's special ability, blinding target, seeing what targget see, or both? 99) Are the vehicles Adaptive? 1010) When Toa Nuva share their mask powers, Are the others able to control shared mask power, or it depend on wearer? 1111) Can Toa use his mask power during use shared Nuva-mask power? 1212) Can Toa handle more than one shared Nuva-mask power? 1313) Can Matoran use shared Nuva-mask power? 1414) Are the Shadow Leeches that fall into Swamp of Secret after Ignika destroyed the Hive all dead? 1515) If answer of 14) is no. Are survivors mutated? 1616) If answer of 14) is no. What are they? 2323) Does Adaptive Armors work like Makuta's Armors when Makuta's wearing? 2424) Can Mistika Makuta use another powers except their Mask's powers and Shadow powers?

3Greg has been scolding us to quit complaining about Botar and Carapar, how "this is a war, and people die", explaining Botar's and Carapar's awesome deaths, and then he goes and tells us "BUT WAIT, THE GOOD GUYS GET FREE PASSES TO SURVIVE, CUZ DATS REPETITIVE"?
4In war, no one is safe. Making the Nuva/Taka invulnerable not only tells us there is almost nothing to loose, seeing as they are the majority fav. characters, but also, that there really won't be too many OMG shockers. Last year, meh, Matoro died. So what. When Botar died, I was like WHOA OMG COOL1 .1 . This year, I bet its gonna be like OMG Teridax gave Mata Nui a headache and now he's mad at everyone . (except the Nuva and Taka).
5I don't mean to sound angry or pessimistic, but come on. With that in mind, there is nothing to loose (universe can't end/be destroyed without Nuva/Taka dying, so you can take that out of the equation), and thus, this really isn't a very good war, if that's what we're calling it.
#2236
1So there can't be any shockers without anyone dying? And just because someone won't die doesn't mean that they're invulnerable. :)
2Also, you say that it's not a very good war. Well, look at a lot of other war stories. In Star Wars, not many heroes died. Same with The Lord of the Rings. Just because heroes don't die doesn't mean that it's not a good story. :)
3And you do seem to be jumping ot a lot of conclusions, unfortunetly. Your last point, for example. Who says that the Universe won't end? It's perfectly plausible for the Universe to end without any heroes dying. :)

1So there can't be any shockers without anyone dying? And just because someone won't die doesn't mean that they're invulnerable. :)

2That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying a war normally isn't serious if you don't get some serious casualties on both sides. I've always found it corny how the good guys always get out nearly unscathed (last year wasn't so bad about this), while the bad guys get their ### kicked. In war, a general doesn't simply go "HAY BAD DUDES, WE FIGHT NOW, BUT YOU CAN'T KILL OUR GUYS, CUZ U DID THAT LAST WEEK, K?"
3Just doesn't work that way. I'm just saying by giving the Nuva/Taka invulnerability, you have sacrificed realism. I find realism more important to a decent story over repetitive problems.
4Lord of the Rings was fair game. Anyone could die, just not many did. Star Wars nearly every single Jedi died, in different scenarios, but that's not repetitive. Its realistic. I'm looking for death, but guaranteeing that there is no chance for it is not wise. I'm not saying some of the Nuva/Taka have to die, but telling us months ahead of time they're safe is stupid.
5And I agree, the universe could end, but then probably everyone would escape safely somewhere else, and live happily ever after. In the end, either sacrifices are made by heroes, or everyone goes on to live happily into the sunset. Its just how these things go. Everyone should be fair game, not just the bad guys.
#2238
1There are serious casualties so far. Botar and Carapar for starters. And that's quite a lot, compared to past years. And I wouldn't say unscathed, either. So far, almost everyone's taken at least some injuries. And don't forget that the the story isn't even half way over yet. :)
2But the Nuva don't have invulnerability. Just because they aren't going to die does not make them invincible. And it's possible for a story to be realistic without killing all the protagonists (obvious exaggeration, but you get the point :P).
3My point was that almost no main characters died in those stories. They could have, true. But if you ignore the quote that no heroes will die, then the story here is not that different. True, the quote kind of spoiled things, but oh well. :P
4I think we should at least know how the story actually ends before we start jumping to conclusions here. :)

2When was that scolding? He just explained why he did it when asked... It's not like he went up to memorial-banner topics and told them to stop whining.

4The universe has never been at risk of destruction as a part of a villain's plans. If I remember correctly, the events of 2006-2007 were unintentional on the Brotherhood's part. 5What is at stake is the Matoran's freedom, as the Matoran are what Makuta's wanted to rule since the beginning. And seeing as how the Nuva are a big part of his plan, the only reason we know they won't die is that the Makuta know they can't kill them and still win. They're intentionally letting them survive.

1Good point. Just because the Toa won't die doesn't mean that something bad won't happen to them. :o
