1Hi Greg, i just have a few questions.
21. If i recall, you said the first Toa and the Hand of Artakha were made roughly the same time, correct?
32. Also, you said we will learn who the female voice from the gali nuva blog was, the leader of the OoMN (and former leader of the HoA) is, and we will meet the first Toa, all in BL10, correct?
43. I have a little theory about the BB map. It was a map of such importance, that it couldn't be lost, but, at the same time, couldn't fall into the wrong hands, so it was hidden in the matoran universe as the unity, duty, destiny symbol, just in case. If you can't exactly say if it's write or wrong, maybe a hot or cold? rolleyes.gif 53b. Along those lines, how come Mutran didn't recognize it? Was it incomplete, enough for it to be unrecognizable?
64. Will Trinuma appear in the OoMN-BoM war seriel? 74b. Will it focus on one being, or just the whole war in general?
8Thanks in advance .

91) Logically, both would have been created 100,000+ years ago, yes, because we know the first Toa played a role in the construction of Metru Nui. 102) I don't recall what I have stated on this subject 113) No, I don't believe that was the case. 123B) Why would he? It's not a map of anyplace he is aware of. 134) Yes 144b) War in general, most likely

7This REALLY sounds to me like he is avoiding the question...but on the other hand he could be sending us a very clever and well thought out red herring, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND he could very well also simply not recall what he said and isn't sure if you are just trying trick info out of him, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND your fingers are different lengths...
8O.K. I'm done...
9P.S. Perhaps Mata-Nui is something along the lines of the bridge between the Matoran universe and the 2009 place.

1You have said that the thing that locked the Mistuka in their current forms is very obvious. I have two questions -
21) I assume this has no affect on the Nuva? 32) Is the obviousness of this related to the name of said Makuta? (Mistika = Mist)
4I hope you can answer to them, if not you don't need to reply. :)

51) It has the potential to do so 62) No

7Hi Greg, I'm still trying to sort out the light/dark thing (not that important to the actual story, but it is interesting. :P)
8Can you please answer yes or no to the following statements thanks?
91) All normal Matoran have a weak shield that prevents them from having all light or all shadow.
102) When a normal Matoran is affected by something like the Avsa, the shield is strengthened so that no light is allowed in?
113) Av-Matoran and Toa have no shield and by default, no shadow.
12Unrelated to that -
131) Does Vultraz's Midak Skyblaster somehow suck "shadow" out of the environment, or does it just generate it on it's own?
142) What is the difference between the words "Assume" and "Presume"? I've asked so many people and I figured you're a writer so you might know. :)
15Thanks .

161) Wrong. It is simply their nature, just as it is ours, to be in balance. There are very few humans who are all good or all evil (unless they're deranged), and so very few Matoran are all one or the other. 172) The shield is created, not strengthened 183) Wrong, wrong, wrong. If Toa had no shadow, then how did Teridax create shadow Toa by drawing the shadow out of the Mata? Shadow is their darker side ... the side that keeps them from always working together, the side that makes them do things for selfish motives ("I want to be a famous Toa-hero ."), the side that fuels their anger at their enemies.
191) Draws it from the environment 202) Could have saved yourself time and just looked it up -- there really is no difference. Assume means to take for granted or without proof, or suppose; presume means to take for granted or to assume or suppose.

211) But you said the shield was mental (as in it was there minds). So would it then be safe to say then, that the shield is created by having you're light drained, not what make your light drained? For example a normal Le-Matoran gets attacked by a Shadow Leech. At the moment he is an ordinary Matoran, so he has half light and half shadow. When the Leech attacks him, he loses all of his light for a brief period. For that brief period, he does not want to become normal again, he wants to stay shadow. As a result, a mental shield around him forms that blocks all right? Or is that shield actually physical? 223) I was referring to Av-Matoran and Av-Toa. Sorry, I worded that poorly.
231) Would that mean it adds light to the environment? 242) I did and the definitions had essentially the same meanings, but assuming said based on no evidence and presume said an educated guess. What made me ask was that my English teacher told me the opposite (assume was an educated guess and presume was based on no evidence)...

251) It is a psychic shield, but it is not created by the Matoran -- has nothing to do with what he wants or doesn't want. Takanuva wants light to flow in, but he can't make that happen. The only beings who have rejected light and prevented it from coming back in based on sheer willpower are the Makuta. 263) Av-Matoran and Av-Toa do have shadow in them, as well. Again, if not, Takanuva would be perfect and good all the time, and he's not. Beings who are all light would be just as out of balance as beings who are all shadow.
271) Good question -- we know darkness is the absence of light. Is light the absence of darkness? 282) I have always heard them used interchangeably.

291) Here's where my confusion is though. The way you seem to explain it, the reason a normal being has half and half was because that their minds had a natural preset that that is the way it is meant to be (this is subconscious of course). When they have their light drained, the lack of light changes that preset that creates a mental shield from changing that state of mind back. In the Makuta's case, they had enough will power to go against their own nature.
30Anyway I think my point was that what keeps a normal being from being all light or all dark is also a mental sheild (by that I mean the preset thing) and what changes them is also tat preset.
313) Would they have slightly more light than an average being?
321) Well you've also said if a shadow Matoran had their shadow drained, they'd have nothing left and die. Is it possible that in the Bionicle universe that an absence of light can create a type of shadow energy?
33Thanks for answering . ^_^

341) No. See, you are talking about the lack of light changing the preset, as if it is a natural occurrence -- it's not. The shield is the result of the actions of the shadow leech or the Avsa, not something that just naturally takes place. The natural thing would be for light or shadow to come back in to fill the voice. And what keeps them from being all light or all dark is not a shield, it's nature. Nature wants balance. All beings are supposed to have light and shadow in them, not just one or the other. There is no such thing as a shield that keeps out shadow, just as there is no such thing as an all-light being. And the shield to keep out light is caused by the shadow leech or Avsa's actions, not something inside the victim. 353) I would say no, because they are not naturally more virtuous. They are simply better at controlling light because it is their natural element, so they are more in touch with what they have. 361) Not sure I understand your question -- darkness is the absence of light, so if there is no light, there is darkness.

371) Ah . Thanks, that explains that much better. ^_^ When you say nature though, you do mean the way Matoran are naturally meant to be?
381) Well if you were to drain a Matoran of Shadow of their shadow, there would be nothing left and they would die. But if darkness is just the absence of light, that would mean one of two things would happen - 391) There would be nothing to drain 402) Draining them of shadow would mean adding light. 41Since neither of them make sense really I was thinking that in the Bionicle universe an absence of light may actually create a shadow energy. If that was the case, draining a shadow Matoran of their shadow would remove this shadow energy. :)
42Thanks .

431) Yes 441) I am seeing shadow and light as two different substances. If you have both, you're fine. If you have both and drain one, you are left with only one; but if you are all light or all shadow, and your light or shadow get drained, you have nothing at all. We have only talked about this in terms of shadow because there are no all-light beings.

45It seems that the shield is rather the act of changing the preset to make a being all shadow to me. :)
#2729
1But technically, it's not a preset, is it? Although to be honest, this is still kind of confusing to me... :P

1But technically, it's not a preset, is it? Although to be honest, this is still kind of confusing to me... :P

2See a normal Matoran has a natural preset in their subconscious that makes them have an equal balance of light and shadow. When a Shadow Leech, Avsa or Gorast's stinger is used on the Matoran, that preset is changed to reject all of the light. So therefore the shield must actually be the act of changing that preset. :)

3I dont really understand the Nynrah blasters well specifically how they work both powers have been revealed but when does the weapon's powers activate do they have to hit the target like lets say the makuta shoot their blaster and it hits lets say Jetrax how will it control the machine same thing goes for the toa since there power is like the green lanterns how does the power released and controlled?

41) Basically, both are establishing a mental link. If you shoot a Makuta blaster at a mechanical object, it establishes mental control by the Makuta over the mechanism for a set period of time. As for the Toa weapons, the weapon shoots the energy out, and the will and imagination of the Toa deterrmines what form the energy takes.

1Hi Greg just a few questions: 21) If Kalmah's arm was ripped off, would it grow back like Nocturn's, minus a tentacle? 32)Does Tren Krom have any disabilities, like poor vision? 43) If the mask of life was broken would everything come to life? 54) The toa Mahri had pipe connected to their masks or faces, these were gills. If the Mahri when they were in the pit took of their masks, 6which had the gills on them, would they drown? 75) will the gills fall off now that they are air breathers? 86) Are Spiriah's claws part of him? 97) in the storyline, Why does Spiriah have a Tridax pod, he wasn't there when they were invented, he was on the run, and he isn't even in the sky. 108) Is Miserix more powerful than Teridax? 119) Why did the OoMN choose Carapar and Takadox to come with them, why not any of the other Barraki. 1210) When will the Matoran on Spiriah's back come into FoF? 13Thanks for your time. 14mimic

151) No 162) No 173) Most likely, yes 184) Yes 195) No, they are amphibious now 206) He's a shapeshifter, so he can have claws if he likes 217) Hasn't gotten it in the story yet, so wait and see 228) No 239) Have answered this one a bunch of times. Okay, Takadox is logical, because he needs to get away from the Barraki before they kill him. Mantax will not work with Takadox, so he's out. Pridak and Kalmah won't take orders from anyone, so they're out. Ehlek is alien in outlook he could care less what happens on the surface, so he's out. That leaves Carapar. 2410) He most likely will not come into story. He was only included in the model to show off the connection feature.

11. How did the OOMN know Krakua was destined to be a toa? 22. There has been arguement in the 2008 Sets topic, People are arguing about Disky's Makuta she entered in the Contest. Is it miserix? 33. 51) Same way they knew originally that Jaller was -- they read it in the stars. 62) I don't know who Disky is or what model she entered, so it's impossible for me to answer this. 1Dear GregF,
2I've been thinking about somethings lately and I hope you have time to answer them:
31) So, in Mask of light: the movie, it was said that Mata Nui gave the matoran the Three Virtues, Unity, Duty, Destiny. And, assuming that Mata Nui knows what it is, he knows what there is beyond the Matoran Universe, or the place we're going to next year. 4Now the question is, if he knows what it is, where did he get it from, the great beings? 5And if he doesn't know, then how could he have given it to the matoran?
62) When Takanuva turns smaller again, like he is in the Dark Mirror universe, does he still look the way he does in the set, only smaller (with the same colors I mean)?
73) Just out curiousity(sp?), if you and the story-team have known from the beginning how Mata Nui (the being) looked, does that mean there's a discription, drawing,... or can't you answer this?
84) Where is Mutran kept(sp?) by the Toa Nuva?
9PS: just curious, but the Dark Mirror universe, what gave you the idea for that?
10Thanks for your time, and have a nice day further,
11LtoF

121) I think you are confusing the symbol with the virtues. The map was used to symbolize the virtues for the Matoran, but the actual virtues are qualities you live by. When we say he gave them the virtues, we don't mean he just gave them a symbol and nothing else. 132) He hasn't "turned smaller" -- he hasn't gotten big yet, that doesn't happen until he gets to Karda Nui. 143) There is a written description in the 2001 story bible, yes 154) Not many places to keep him, outside of a village. 165) There are lots of examples of this sort of alternate universe, ranging from the "Mirror, Mirror" episode of the original Star Trek through countless comic book versions. The entire old Marvel "What If" series was about parallel dimensions where things had happened differently. It's not a new concept by any means.

17Thanks for the answers GregF, I hope you don't mind, but here are some follow ups:
181) Yes, but I mean, where did they get the symbol from then? 191) and if it came from Mata Nui, then how did he know the symbol, aka the map?
202) but does he look that way in the dark mirror universe then?
21Thanks for your time, hope you can answer them;
22LtoF

231) They saw the map and they interpreted it as their symbol. 241a) Because the Great Beings gave it to him 252) His coloring is the same as in the 2008 set, his size is not

26Just some things I asked GregF, don't know if there's anything that's new, although I think 3 is interesting (because I didn't know that)

1Hi Greg
21) Thanks for revealing the Makuta of Artakha's name - I have been waiting for that, although I must confess that I think the latest MC chapter was a bit... lame. Was there any special reason why the Makuta evolved into energy? Did Mata Nui plan that and if yes, why? 32) Any short stories planned for this year? (like The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet) 43) Ever considered doing a serial next year that focuses on the Matoran Universe? 54) Is it possible that some of Lhikan's former teammates joined Lesovikk? Since Naho was against Tuyet's plans, I imagine more members of the team were not very fond of Tuyet and Nidhiki killing their former leader. 65) Are Mazeka and Vultraz from the Southern Continent or any other place we know? 76) Will the Southern Continent be named? 87) How many approved names have you left on your list? 97a) Is the new naming system for next year really so different that it is impossible to already use some names for this year? 107b) What's the current naming system? I mean, if there's gonna be a new one, there has to be an old one. 117c) Will LEGO still have to get the names approved once they use the new system? 128) Does the word "Avohkah" have a Matoran meaning? 139) Any idea what the umbrella name for the new book series next year will be?
14Thanks, 15NtM

161) Sorry you didn't like it. It was, as I have always said, natural evolution of their species. It wasn't something that could be planned for. 172) I have very little time to do that sort of thing. I only did it last year because BZP was planning to use it to help raise money for the site, so I made time for them. 183) Already planned. 194) You'll find out who is on the team next chapter 205) Summer sets - 'nuff said 216) I only have about three or four names left on the available list, a couple of which are pretty lame, so most likely not 227a) I can't take names from next year for this year, we need them for next year and future years. 237B) The old one was based off Polynesian-sounding terms, which is why we had Maori names the first year. 247c) Of course. I don't care what system you use, you still have to think about, "Is this term trademarked somewhere in the world for something?" You use someone else's trademarks, they'll sue you, same as we would someone who put out, say, a vacuum cleaner called a BIONICLE. 258) It might 269) No, hasn't been decided yet. Since the chapter book series is only two books and doesn't start until summer, there's no real rush to decide it. The Level 3 readers would not be under an umbrella title other than BIONICLE, most likely.

27Responses 281) I didn't say I didn't like the evolution, I was just confused by the fact that it came seemingly out of nowhere. 296) Already any idea what you will do with those names? 307) And what language will the new naming system be based on?
31New Questions 3210) In jetslandingboard's topic on future books, it says there will be non-fire Toa as team leaders next year. Is this true? (I hope so, that would be a most welcome change - fire Toa leaders are good and fine, but they have become a stereotype) 3311) Is the existence of the Nynrah ghosts common knowledge? 3412) Since it is a Matoran island, why is it called Nynrah and not Nynrah Nui?

351) Keep in mind that we are skipping chunks of time in this story. So the evolution could have been going on for ages before progressing to the point where it was noticeable -- the same way someone can have cancer for a long time before having any symptoms. 366) Nope, I have half a year left in which to use them. 377) Can't discuss it. 3810) I can tell you that the eventual team leader/main hero next year will not be fire-based, that is correct. 3911) Among those who need their services, yes 4012) Because it is not a Matoran island -- it is an island with a small number of Matoran living on it, but they are not the majority of the population. There have only ever been about 60 or 70 max Nynrah in existence. It's sort of the same way we know there are Matoran who live on Stelt, but it's not a Matoran island, so they don't call it Stelt Nui.

41Responses 421) That sounds logical 4310) I guess asking more about this at that point of time would be pointless. 4412) There are Matoran on Stelt? As what, slaves? And what other species live on Nynrah - any we know?

4512) As merchants, as traders, etc. ... and as for Nynrah, I haven't decided yet

1Some stuff I thought I would ask:
2Hey Greg 3Just a few new questions (srry if you've already answered them) 41) Because Mutran and Chirox are both the scientist Makuta would they be equivalent in strength? 52) Why did Mutran choose Vican to be his matoran partner? (a few weeks ago you said the makuta did'nt care who their partners were) 63) Now that Takadox betrayed the FOF will he be out of the picture for this years story? 74) From what we know it seems that Krika has more emotions than any other makuta (ie: He didn't kill Miserex, He questioned Teridax's leadership) Does he seem to have more emotions purposefully?

81) Not necessarily, no. Not every intelligent person is equal in strength to every other one, right? 92) Vican isn't really a partner the way the others are, because Mutran doesn't need him to see. Vican is his lab assistant. He needed a volunteer to test his shadow leech on and Vican volunteered, and that is how their association started. 103) We'll see. 114) I disagree. We have seen other Makuta get angry, feel hate, feel joy -- all Makuta have emotions. The only difference between Krika and the others is that he isn't convinced that he is going to benefit from the Plan, so he doesn't fully support it.

1Hi, Greg,
21. Does Tren Krom have any grudges against Mata Nui? Or the Great Beings? Most people (I think) would be very mad if they ruled a universe, then were tossed aside.
32. Does Tren Krom know of Mata Nui's location?
43. Did TK have a "special place" (like Mata Nui) to run the universe? 53a. If so, were TK's and Mata Nui's the same the place?
64. Did TK always look like he does now? Tentacles and all?
7Also, a random question: 8Is it very hot in the swamp, do to the immense(?) heat the core energy creates?
9Thank you . .
101) Hard to say. If you were hired as a temp, and then when the full-time person came back, would you hate him or the company for letting you go ... even though you knew all along that was going to happen? 112) Doubt it 123) TK was based in the core when he ran the universe. MN is not. 134) Yes 145) Not ridiculously so, no
15That's new, TK ran the universe from the core. 16For Number 5, it was just random, I thought that the heat maybe had something to do with the Mistuka's locked form.

1Hi Mr. Farshtey, I have some more questions,
21a. Did the Nynrah Ghosts create the prototype Zamour launchers that Nidhiki and Krekka stole?

31) Yes

41. Is the place they stole them from possibly Nynrah?
55. Will we find out how Lesovik and Hydraxon are doing down in the Pit, or are we not going to see them again?

65) I haven't decided yet

72. Maybe you could have them appear in the OoMN-BoM war serial with breathing apparatus's.
83. Is Vanisher the OoMN spy in the Dark Hunters?
9Thanks a lot .
10-Prototoa

111) Possibly 123) I am not revealing this answer now
#2746
1Well that's new, it must mean he knows who the spy is know. He was undecided a while ago. Perhaps we will learn this in the OoMN/BoM serial.
#2747
1I think he said we would learn it this year and that makes the most sense since he finished the books before he decided it seems.

1What the heck is the 2001 story bible?

2The story team makes a story bible for every storyline year, that from what I recall sets the outlines for what will happen. They write these years in advance. The 2001 story bible then would be an outline of the first year of Bionicle, apparently in which a description of Mata Nui was written.

1Congrats on catching me off guard with the of Matoro. However, I totally predicted the origin of the Toa Ignika. :P
27) Did Makuta have a toa in mind when he tried to remake the Nui Stone, or was he just going to "have it on hand"?
37) To be honest, I would bet he had Ahkmou in mind (if Ahkmou ended up destined to be a Toa).

4Does this mean Ahkmou is in contact with Makuta still, or that he will be appearing next year (probably in the serials) sometime?

5Originally, I had planned to have Ahkmou play a big role next year, but plans to do a new set of him got scrapped

6Really? That's interesting. Is he still appearing next year, or was the whole idea around him scrapped. If so, in serial, or book?

7Anything is possible with the serials, but right now, his reappearance is a not a high priority.

8Was browsing my old PMs with you, and came across this. Is there any chance see some some new Ahkmou action in the summer serials? We'd love to see him return, even for a short while.
9And BTW, what happened to the Mahri serial? Was it replaced by the Hagah one?

101) It's possible, but I don't decide on the details of the serials until I sit down to write the individual chapters. 112) The Mahri will be starring in a serial in summer, along with other old characters, while the Hagah will star in another

12I'm guessing the Mahri will be main characters in the OoMN/BoM War Serial, if not the Hagah Serial

13Interesting...could it be that Krakua is in Metru Nui to recruit the Mahri?

1IMPORTANT INFO ON 2009 . .
21. Will we be seeing any characters from the Matoran universe in 2009 and beyond?

31) There will be at least one very familiar character in 2009, yes
#2752
1Has anyone considered what Kanohi Mata Nui would wear?
2Here:
3Mr. Farhstey, could you please answer the following questions?:

41) If Mata Nui has a Kanohi, would it be a cross of something like the Hau, the Ignika , the Vahi and the Mask of Creation? 51b) What powers would it have? Everything?

6Thank you for your time.

7There's no reason to believe Mata Nui wears a Kanohi.

4Hmm. I wonder if it could be Mata Nui, because he will most likely be awake by the end of the year.

5But it's a "very familiar" character. Mata Nui has never even appeared in the storyline. We know practically nothing about him. 6Greg did say at least one. Which doesn't necessarily mean one character will be back. For all we know it could be six.
#2754
1Don't forget that Greg also said that there will be a Serial in 09 focusing on the Matoran Universe :P
#2755
1Yeah, it COULD be six familiar characters... which fits right into my insane theory.... 2Oh, and btw, about a page back (I think) there was some discussion on the 09 location, and Takua the Wanderer kept saying that Mata Nui (island) was not the 09 location. Is there a quote or anything to prove that, cuz I haven't seen anything? 3And some stuff about MN-- he's NOT based in the core. Interesting....

5Or Teridax, the main enemy throughout the "original series" as I call it, the one we all know of.

1Some of my quesitons:
2Hello, Mr. Farshtey . I would like to say great job on the latest FoF. Now I have some questions. 31) Wasn't Artidax the name of something else?
42) How is Takadox emotionally?
53) How come the FoF chapters come out a week earlier than Dark Mirror and The Mutran Chronicles?
64) Will the winning Makuta's mask be Miserix's?
75) Will we see Kardas later?
86) Why did Takadox trap the FoF?
97) Did Mutran go to the swamp? 108) Will we see Vamprah, Antroz, Chirox, Mutran, Icarax, and the Av and Shadow Matoran in Bionicle Legends#11?
11Thanks for your time . .
121) Artidax was originally going to be a mask name, but it was never used anywhere besides BZP and when the plan to have that mask in story was scrapped, the name became available for use again. 132) Can you be more specific? 143) They come out when I have time to write them and Bink has time to put them up, basically. 154) We'll see -- Makuta are shapeshifters, so his mask could look like A and really be B 165) Not sure 176) Well, he just saw Carapar get killed on this mission, so why would he want to keep going along with it? 187) He will, yes 198) Yes
20Thanks for getting back to me so fast .
212) I meant, has seeing Carapar's demolition, changed Takadox: like made him depressed, mad, wanting vengence, etc..?
22And some new ones:
231) Is the Bohrok and Balta picture possibly a Nynrah and Fohrok?
242) How does Vezon view his team?
253) Will Zaktan's knowledge of the BoM plan ever get to the OoMN?
264) If yes, then is this the important info Takanuva must bring to the Nuva?
275) If Takanuva held his lance in the hand that shoots light, he could channel it through the lance. Could this work, but with the shadow hand?
286) If you have time could you give me a quote from one of the Mistika?
296) What do you think Bionicle will be looked as in say, 2020?
30Thanks very much . .
312) It's made him want out of this mission. 321) No. Also, people are too focused on it being Balta -- it is meant purely to represent a Matoran, not Balta specifically. 332) He finds the whole thing amusing and far better than being killed by zyglak. 343) We'll see 354) No. 365) Yes 376) Sorry, no time to go quote searching 387) Impossible for me to predict. It might still be around in 2020, who knows, depending on product sales? Things like GI Joe and Barbie and Transformers have lasted 20 years or more.
39Hello again, Mr. Farshtey . Hope you are doing well, I hope you can answer my questions .
401) Can you conform that the Mahri will be fighting Kardas again?
412) If yes, will it be an offscreen battle?
423) Will Vultraz and Mazeka appear in the books?
434) In the OoMN-BoM war, will we see more Makuta/OoMN members?
445) Will we see Brutaka's fate in FoF?
455a) If he survives FoF, is it possible to see him in the OoMN/BoM war?
465b) I'm gonna guess his unexpected appearance in Bionicle Legends#10- is it as a corpse?
47Thanx for your time . .
481) Yes, but the battle may not be shown in story 493) No 504) We'll see 515) If he has a "fate," yes 525a) Yes 535b) No. Bionicle Legends #10 takes place before FOF, not after. Bionicle Legends 9 and Bionicle Legends 10 take place at roughly the same time, with one set in the sky and one set in the swamp, and both leading to Bionicle Legends 11.
54Hello again, Mr. Farshtey . I've got some more questions for you.
551) A few people in the OGD have been saying Kanohi will return in '09, can you confirm what you really said to clear things up?
562) What was your favourite part of 2006 and last year?
573) You had a poll asking members what their favourite part of Bionicle was, ie: mysteries, action, humour, etc... But what's yours?
584) If the Matoran/domed universe ends, how will effect other universes?
595) What would the end of the Matoran universe be like?
606) How did you start working for Lego?
61a) Bionicle?
62B) Writing the books?
637) Will we see what becomes of the Dark Hunters?
648) What is the most fun serial to write about?
65Thanks for your time .
661) What I said was that the concept of a Mask of Power would be key to 2009, so the idea of masks is not being abandoned. I didn't say, "Everyone in 2009 will have Kanohi" or something like that. 672) Didn't have one 683) I like it when we do stories that aren't standard BIONICLE, ala Time Trap 694) It could have a fairly significant impact 705) Well, we did a description of what it would be like if Mata Nui died in BIONICLE Legends #2 716) Answered an ad 726a) They had decided they wanted to do the comic and were going to have an outside writer do it. Then it turned out they needed an approved script in three weeks because the first issue was coming out in Europe much earlier, so they had me do it. 736b) Well, the books had been being done about a year when a new editor took over the line at Scholastic, and she was open to having me take a stab at them because there wouldn't be any approvals problems with LEGO if I was doing them. 747) Who says something is going to "become" of them? I don't have plans to wipe them all out or something. 758) They're all fun this year
76Sorry for send you another PM so fast, but i forgot to ask:
77What about Brutaka's appearance is so unexpected.
78Again, sorry, but this has been bugging me.
79Well, you'll have to read Bionicle Legends #10 when it comes out and find out. No reason for me to give away spoilers for my own book and cut down sales.

#2759
1Well, if The Final Battle leads right into 2009 and some of 2008 is needed to be shown in the 09 movie, I'm assuming it's someone from Karda Nui.
2I mean the "very familiar" character.
#2760
1It got posted twice...
