1PD - That gets revealed in Book 7, which is also when Nocturn gets the mask.

2Max - They rebelled against Mata Nui, that's why they were condemned.
3Gabrhil - There have been two Pits. The first was a prison, which got shattered by the Great Cataclysm. The inmates escaped, were mutated by the waters outside, and so lost the ability to live on land -- making their new home effectively another prison.
4Toa of Cheese - Thank you for the first question, allows me to make my position clear. The fact that people want to go online and spread leaked images and info and ruin the story for people -- or that BZP chose to headline the information -- does not change my situation. LEGO policy is that I cannot discuss sets until the company has released images to the public. That has not happened yet. The images that are online have been leaked from retailer catalogs, and my using that as an excuse to start talking about stuff early would be the equivalent of condoning the practice. So, no, I am not going to discuss the Mahri, it's too early.
5As for the Nocturn thing, I have no objection to you sharing that.
6Greg
7OK. Everyone--NOCTURN BROKE HIS ISLAND!
8Thank you.
9And, greg, What kind of things were you into as a kid?
#180
1Greg, Do you have every single Bionicle? well I know its pretty obvious but Im just wondering.
#181
1TC - I primarily played with Mego action figures, and some LEGO later in life.
2MM - No, I don't, for two reasons. One, we have to buy them too, (granted at a lower price), and two, I don't have room in my house for all of them.
#182
1What part of 2007 are you most forward to looking for?(Bionicle story wise.)
2And one more thing: How do you plan on letting the fans not on BZP or MOD know about the Web Serials?
Last Edit: by Gearhead
#183
11) The end22) Well, the serials are supposed to go up on BIONICLE.com, so my assumption would be anyone visiting the site will see something about them once they go online there.

1Sorry to bother you Mr. Farshtey, but I was wondering. How quickly does the waters mutagen work?
2For example if a Matoran's air bubble faded would he mutate after being in the water a few minutes, or would he drown before it took effect?
#185
1In BL #2, the matoran said "The World that feeds the World." And you also said the Bio planet was not made by the Great Beings. Could this mean that the Red Star made the Bio Planet and is still feeding it energy today?
2And is it true that there will be sneak peeks at new Bionicle books on BIONILCE.com?
Last Edit: by Gearhead

1VolcanicEruption -- It varies, based on your exposure.
2Gearhead - No, that is not what it refers to. As for your second question, the answer is hopefully.
#187
1By any chance, will 2008 take place in Arthaka? It seems like such a good spot for the Ignika to be used. The villains could be from before the time of Mata-nui who want to destroy Arthaka.
#188
1No, we are not planning to set a story in Artakha. At this point, the residents of Artakha are the only ones who even know where the place is.

#189
1Greg, How far are you with the serials? Are 1/4 done, 2/4 done, or are you completley done? And when should they go up?
Last Edit: by Gearhead
#190
1First two chapters of one serial is done. I am not working that far ahead because until the first chapter goes up, I have no way of knowing exactly how many chapters I am going to need to do.

1Are there any plans to make the voyatoran turn into Toa?
2~EW~
#192
11.So, there are going to be 13 serials right?
22.And has it been confirmed that the "World feeds World" is the place the Ignika mask of Life has to be used? The 2008 location could be?
33.Have you started BIONICLE Legends #8 yet or no?
44. Will the Piraka return in 2008?
55. Will Krahka?
6Thank you very much for answering!
Last Edit: by Gearhead
#193
1EW - No, not at this.
2Gearhead - 1) No, I'm not sure where you got that figure from. 2) I cannot discuss where the 2008 story will be set. 3) No. I have to finish EXO-FORCE 6 first. 4) I can't discuss future storyline. 5) Same answer as #4.

1Do you have any Bionicle sets?2-Private Rabin Delano Donut
#195
1Yes,some.
#196
1Is there canonical reason that there are some yeollw/orange squid and other blue/teal ones?
#197
11. Have there ever been any Toa on Roodaka's island (Xia I think) besides Lhikan?
22. Does the Order of Mata Nui have to have certian speices the The Brotherhood, or not?
#198
11.Are book sales starting to creep up just a little bit, or no?
22.To Begin, will we see any other OoMN members this year other than the Jailer? Hydraxon looks like one.(Brutaka doesn't count as a new one)
33.Primarily, is it true that Axonn used to be a Hand of Arthaka member?
44. could there be a organization dedicated to Karzahni?
55.Lets say you put the pit water into a steel bottle. If someone drank that, would they start to change, or only their inside?
Last Edit: by Gearhead

1Jaril - Simply different breeds.
2Strazz - 1) There may not have been Toa stationed there, but certainly they have seen Toa before. 2) No. The BOM is all made up of one species, the Order is not.
3Gearhead - 1) I don't have info on that. 2) I can't discuss future storyline or summer sets. 3) Yes. 4) No. 5) Interesting question -- basically raises the point of does what happen to your insides affect how you look outside? It certainly can in humans.
#200
1Greg,
2Where do you get your inspiration? Im trying to write a story but I am low on ideas.
#201
1Hey Greg, What exactly happened to Reysa? Did Kalmah eat him?
2And what about Sarda?
#202
11. Since the Toa Mahri appear first in BIONICLE Legends #7, could the name "Prisoners of The Pit" refer to the Mahri being trapped in the pit?
22. You said on BZP, that the Toa Nuva only appear on the web this year, but in Jet's New bionicle books topic, it says the Nuva, Bahrag, and Bohrok appear in #7. Care to clear this up?
#203
1Shiruk - Overall storyline comes from the story team, of which I am a part. Smaller stories and background/history etc. comes largely from me, simply from a lifetime of reading and writing. It's like exercise - if you use a muscle a lot, it gets stronger. If you use your imagination all the time, it does what you need it to do.
2Krekka - Sarda is still alive. Reysa was killed by a Rahi.
3Gearhead - It could, but it could also refer to every character in that book. As for your second question, I didn't know until the last minute if the Nuva were going to be in that book. If there wasn't going to be room to tell their story on the web, there was no point in putting them in the book.

1Will the "Why the Code of Toa is important" Be revealed in any book this year or on the web?
2And you mentioned your part of other story teams other than BIONICLE and Exo-Force. Could these others be Lego Vikings and Knight kingdoms or even Aqua-raiders?
Last Edit: by Gearhead
#205
11) Probably not, I don't have room for it.22) No. Knights Kingdom story was handled by someone else at LEGO, and Vikings and Aqua don't have stories.
3Greg
#206
1Have you finished Exo-Force book 6 yet. If no, when do you think you'll finish it?

2Since the Bio planet is in a huge universe, could there be other planets teeming with other alien life?
Last Edit: by Gearhead
#207
11) No, still working on it22) Actually, we have never said anything about how big a universe the planet is in. The "universe" the Matoran refer to is the one inside the domes, the one they are used to living in -- outside of the Matoran of Mata Nui, Voya Nui, and Mahri Nui, none have ever been outside the domes.
#208
1I'm not sure you can answer some of these Mr. Farshtey, but curiosity got the better of me.
21. How much would you say the Barraki have changed in appearance? (Alot or a little?)
32. Do all of Ehlek's species live underwater?
43. What would you say was your favorite part to write about in 2006?
#209
11) A lot22) Yes33) Probably the Piraka's past lives
#210
1Odd....I'd have thought Ehlek's appearance would've changed rather little, given that his species was already adapted to underwater life.
2oohp..question.
3When Jaller & co. went through Karzahni's realm, they had that brief encounter with the native matoran who told them about the canisters destined for Tahu, Lewa, Kopaka, Gali, Onua, and Pohatu.
4Now then, given the fact that those original toa had noticeably different body structures -even from each other- from the toa shown before/after (no reverse torsos, no chest mounted heads, not altered arm configurations) could one perhaps say that the forms of the Toa Mata were due to Karzahni somehow having a hand in their creation? Just noticed that, as they did seem to fall into the "everyone has a unique design structure" category that hasn't been seen anywhere else save the Voya Nui Matoran.
