1And the book "Prisoners of the pit" had no changes made to it right? Its just Book 8 being bumped down to book 7?
2And another thing, could Axonn return in a 2007 chapter book in a small cameo appearance?

11) Yes22) There is a possibility he may make a cameo in Book 8 -- I think it's likely.

1Do you think that Kardas might appear in the story again?2-Donut
#249
1What book are you working on now?
#250
1PD - Impossible to say at this point. My room to fit previous year's sets in is limited due to the cutback in the book schedule, and I am really not planning to spend time on Voya Nui in 2007. Beyond that, I can't say.
2Gearhead - Just polishing off E-F 6 and about to start on BL #8.
#251
1I was just wondering Mr. Farshtey, when exactly are quotes from BL#6 allowed?
#252
1VE - I believe they are now cleared for use.

1Since Axonn is physically stronger than Botar, did he not fight him because he knew in all of history, Botar always completed his job, or was it fear of the consequences if he failed?
#254
1Again, I have 2 questions,
2What type of species is Takadox?3And what army does he have?
#255
1Gearhead - I think it was a complex set of reasons. Axonn felt bad about Brutaka's fate, but deep down he knew that turning on the Order brought just that kind of punishment, and Brutaka had known it too. If Axonn attacked Botar, he would have been doing the exact same thing - betraying the Order -- and for what? To free Brutaka to do more evil? As bad as Axonn felt, he had also come to terms during that fight that Brutaka was lost and that no amount of talking was going to bring him back to the right side.
2Vo - 1) Not sure I understand your question. Do you mean what species the set is based on, or what his original species was before mutation?32) If I recall correctly, he commands an army of undersea insect life.

1Vo - My understanding is the designers based him on a praying mantis.

1If Brutaka is going to reyurn in 2008, would he have to appear in Book 9, since it is the first book of 2008?
#259
1I haven't written anything for 2008 yet, so it is way too early to know when and where anything will happen
#260
1Mr. Farshtey while I was reading BL#6 (Which was fabulous by the way.) it mentions that Takadox had boasted about having the most loyal armies, but later on it says, (If you don't mind me quoting) "Takadox met his gaze, exerting the hypnotic powers the pit had granted him."
2My question is when did Takadox obtain his hypnotic powers? Before entering the pit or after?
#261
1VE, I'm pretty sure that Takadox used another mean of Hypnosis.
2And Greg, is Vezon going to return in the Web Stories?

1Greg said that Takadox had his power before the Pit mutagen, but that the Pit mutagen increased his power by many folds.

#263
1And has this been confirmed?
2One major thing, Scholastic has put up a description of book 9 and it hints that the new 2008 setting is a "City In The Sky" I know this is not placeholder info beacuase most of the time it is right.

1Gearhead, I hope you know of who I am on BZPower and BS01. I always double check my stuff before I say it [Razz]
2Also, it was said beforehand that Takadox got his powers from the Pit. However, Bionicle Legends#6 suggests this was before the Pit incident. Now I recall you saying that he had it always, but the mutagen made it far more powerful -- folds more powerful. Right?
32) Yes

5EDITSIES: Oh, and Greg couldn't confirm that even if it is or is not true. We just got into 07 -- 08 is far away from here [Wink]
6Aaand. Scholastic International Rights website tends to have very outdated and sometimes even false information. Trust it as you would say.. Wikipedia (which means with a pinch of salt).

1Well Utopia, scholastic was right about the locations: An island for 2006, and underwater for 2007. So I know that 2008 is going to take place in a SkyCity
#266
1Actually, it is placeholder, Gearhead, because Scholastic has no info from me on Book 9 yet, no style guide or set designs have been provided to them for 2008 yet, and I am just starting Book 8 and months away from starting Book 9.

1Hey Greg, I have a question: Does the BIONICLE live in a planet?
#268

2In reply:If so, does the planet have a moon, that has life on it?
#269
1There is no information on the type of planet that exists outside the domes or the cosmology of it in any of the story bibles, since the Matoran do not have space travel capabilities. It hasn't been relevant to the story.

1Greg, If you can't answer this it's fine, But is Brutaka dead? Because he got pulled down by the giant squid?
#271
1If you don't find a corpse, don't assume so. And he only is if you can't picture a OoMN member defeating lone sea beasts.
#272
1What's the name of the new projectile and launcher?
2The Disousa

1Is Book 9 really coming in April? Not Febuary?
#275
1Yes, most likely, because Book 8 is out in December-January.

2Well, IS he dead?I hope not.If he's not, is there any chance of him & Axonn returning in 08?
#277
1Why would you want me to spoil story for you?
#278
1Greg, when will Takanuva return? He's one of my favorite characters.
#279
1Again, Gear, I cannot discuss future storyline plans.
