1Check this out. :)

2Greetings, Greg. 3Hope you're doing well today. 4Just a few questions.
51. This is just something I was wondering about. Are the islands in BIONICLE named after anyone? Mata Nui (the island) was named after the Great Spirit, so I have been wondering if places like Metru Nui and Voya Nui were also named after beings of great power, such as Great Beings. Is this theory valid?
62. What is Umbra doing now that the Ignika has left its hiding place?
73. Can Makuta use all of his powers in his new form?
84. Was Zaktan able to do that spine-choking thing before he was mutated?
95. Do you, as a story team member, know how Matoran come into being?
106.
11I know I've been bothering you about this lately, but have you decided whether Maxilos has any powers yet?

127. I've heard that the OoMN has lost contact with a member stationed in Mahri Nui. Was this member Hydraxon?
13Thanks in advance:

141) No 152) Waiting for it to be brought back, just as he did when Jovan's team took it 163) No, because he cannot shapeshift in this body, for one thing 174) No 185) Yes 196)
20Nope, I haven't -- I may end up showing him using some in the comic, in the books he mainly uses Makuta powers.

217) No. Hydraxon was stationed in the original Pit and was long dead before Mahri Nui ever sank.

22At last, the mystery of Maxilos has been solved.

26Maxilos is being possessed my Makuta.

1We already knew that
2Maxilos is Makuta. It was revealed in the recent Bionicle Legends 7 topic.

3--------------------

4We were sure of that when Greg posted in the Bionicle Legends 7 discussion I beliee it was called.

5Sorry about that last post. I thought that was a different spoiler, I didn't realize I was reposting the same thing.
6A new PM from Greg, and it has part of Hydraxon's revival in it.
7Hello, I just have a few questions for you. I haven't gotten a response yet so I am resending them.
81. In Dark Destiny, it said Onua threw his quake breakers to the ground and then took off his armor. Wouldn't he not have his weapons? The Piraka took them away with the masks, correct?
92. So just to make sure, Maxilos is Makuta correct?
103. I read something about Hydraxon being revived by Defilak or Dekar's life force or something. I believe it wasn't true, could you tell me if it is or not?
114. Why are toa of fire leaders? Wouldn't toa of water probably make better leaders because they are wise?
125. Which of the six elements we know of would make the worst leader do you think? I think Ice because they seem usually distant.
136. Besides fire, which would you say would be the best element to lead the team?
147. I read in the OGD that Kongu had a meelee weapon but got rid of it. Will we learn what it was? If not and you know what it would have been what would it have been?
158. Is this the order this years Legends go in: City of the Lost, the original 7, Prisoners of the Pit, Downfall?
169. What has been happening with the original 7? Last I heard you offered it to BZPower, how has that gone?
1710. When do you update the Lessovikk story? I checked Monday and today and it wasn't updated yet.
1811. What is Lessovikk's weapon? Is it like Pridak's fin sword things? That's what it looks like.
19Thank you for your time.

201) Nope. Zaktan thought the other Piraka were taking them, and they thought he was, and then the quake hit. 212) Maxilos' body is inhabited by Makuta
223) No, it's not. Dekar was transformed into Hydraxon, physically and mentally, his life force was not taken to revive the dead Hydraxon. If it had been, Hydraxon would have awakened pinned under rubble and been unable to move.

234) Cause red Toa sell the best, so you want them in the forefront of your marketing. Blue Toa sell somewhere in the middle of the pack. 245) I can see your argument, on the other hand, in battle do you want a general who is going to fly off the handle emotionally or cry over every soldier he loses .. or do you want one who is going to be cool and calm in a crisis? I would probably say Pohatu would be the "worst," because he doesn't want to make enemies of anyone, and sometimes you have to when you're a leader. 256) Ice. 267) Nope, it isn't mentioned in the story 278) Original 7 actually takes place at the same time as 6 289) Up to them. They have the first chunk whenever they choose to post it. 2910) I am not doing more updates, because what is left to tell is his summer story 3011) I don't have the set, I have only seen the same pics you have, so I can't make a determination on that yet

31--------------------
32"Carapar, you are an ignorant spawn of a Brakas monkey, and you always were. You couldn't snap your fingers without help ... if you had fingers." -- Makuta

33Now we have some information. We now know why he's trying to destroy the mask, but not why he's trying to trying to imprisson the Mahri and other prisoners.
#8807
1He's trying to capture them because he was
2mentally as well as physically transformed. So my guess would be that he actually thinks he's Hydraxon.

#8808
1Yep, but it's already confirmed he believes everyone in the Pit is an escaped prisoner; including the Mahri.
2Hey Greg: How ya doin? Hope your having a great time: I have some questions if you don't mind sir.
31)
4Is there anything left of Dekar in Hydraxon?

52) What would Hydraxon's reaction be if he saw the real Hydraxon's corpse?
63) What is Hydraxon's last memory? Is it like there was an earthquake and I was hurt by some debris.
74) Did the Pit have increasing levels of security as the prisoners got more dangerous? Like were the Matoran Civil War leaders at the very bottom with their cell having steel bars and the Barraki and Nocturn were up at the very top of the cavern with protosteel bars and chained to the floor at the back of their cell?
85) What was a normal day in the Pit like, for the prisoners, and Maxilos and Hydraxon, before the Great Cataclysm?
96) Is the real Hydraxon's body buried under rubble in the Pit?
107) Why did the Zyglak attack Kalmah, Mantax, and Takadox, while each night Mantax comes in?
118) In BA10 it says TSO is close to death. But, he's lived another thousand years. How much longer does he have?
129) With TSO now very old, why hasn't he been overthrown? If you have 90 year old war veteran, it will still be kinda easy to beat him even though he's a veteran.
1310) Do any of Karzahni's "fixed" Matoran remember being sent to him?
14Thanks for your time Greg: Please respond ASAP, I might be going out of town soon:
151)
16Yes

172) I would guess highly disturbed 183) More likely just there was an earthquake 194) I don't have that info 205) Pretty dull 216) Yes, though the organics would have rotted away by now 227) Same reason you might go into your garage 50 times without disturbing the hornets nesting above the door, and then one day you do 238) BIONICLE beings have extremely long lifespans -- I mean, Lesovikk is close to 100,000 years old 249) If you have the guts to challenge him. Remember what happened to the Piraka. 2510) Yes, many do

1Most excellent. This whole Hydraxon thing is getting very interesting...

2I agree but i wonder how Dekar/Hydraxon learns to fight Nocturn and how his weapons work?
#8811

1Hydraxon "II" is mentally Hydraxon "I", so II knows how to fight as well as I, perhaps even better. But I'm too clueless as to how he got the weapons

1QUOTE 2Hello Mr.Greg Only 2 questions: 31 (I'm not sure that you can answer) Have you seen the new "nuva" prototypes? 42.Will there be reveled the name of lesovikk's team (5 dead 1 alive) ?
5Thanks 6kaxix.

71) As I said, the Nuva are a "someday in the future" project 82) No plans for that, no

9So we don't know the name of the first toa team :( .
#8813
1Please guys -- DON'T post any more Bionicle Legends#7 info in here. Some of the hugest mysteries have already been revealed, I really don't want to know any more until I get the book.
2Besides, spoilers aren't even allowed yet. Date is mid-July, I believe.

#8814
1Little Zivon, those are not Bionicle Legends #7 spoilers; Greg Farshtey was asked a question, and he answered it. So, "technically", these spoilers are allowed to be in this topic; they are, in fact, Greg's answers to Pm's he received.
2Plus, they are all in spoiler tags, so that sometimes gives a hint that a spoiler may be revealed in that quote.
3Also, I too find that recent quote (you know what I'm talking about) very interesting indeed. I wonder how it will play out in future books. Greg mentioned Hydraxon would have to "wise up" if he was to help the Mahri rather than trouble them, I wonder if he will.

1Got some great stuff here.

2Greetings, Greg. 3Hope you're doing well today. 4Just a few questions. (You probably saw some of them coming.)
51. You said that Dekar was mentally as well as physically transformed into Hydraxon. Does this mean that he shares Hydraxon's memories and actually thinks he's Hydraxon?
62. Is Dekar essentially a clone of Hydraxon now?
73. Why did the Ignika transform Dekar ( accident, as a protector, etc.)?

84. Is it possible that their are Toa with the powers of the 2003 (the year) Rahkshi?
95. When will you be releasing the names of the Mahri's tools (other than Jaller's and Hahli's)?
10Thanks in advance: :flagusa:

111) Yes, that's half the fun of the whole thing. 122) I don't really like the word clone -- I would say double 133) Because Dekar was the nearest intelligent being nearby who wasn't a Barraki

144) Those really don't seem like Toa powers to me -- Toa of Fear? Toa of Anger? Nah, I don't think so 155) When I have the time

16Now we know that much more about "Hydraxon". :)
#8816
12) I don't really like the word clone -- I would say double
2Dosn't greg mean he would say vezon? :P

3cool info: wow: how... unexpected.
#8817
1In referring to This topic...
2My basic theory is that the methods used to block Light Matoran from Karzahni are not from the ruler of the land, but from a benevolent force such as the OoMN who were aware of the harm that would come to a Matoran of Light who visited that area (Most likely after seeing it firsthand with the crazy Matoran). Since the sea routes have dried up, blocking this one entrance seems like a good way to insure no harm could come to a Matoran of Light traveling that way for unknown purposes.

3What's your question?

4More of a "looking for commentary" type of thing. Do you think it would be possible the OoMN had placed the gates blocking light, was it Karzahni, etc?

5I think the OOMN makes a certain amount of sense, simply because I don't think Karzahni had enough awareness of the outside world to think to do it

#8818
1Some random stuff about Lesovikk, Sarda, and Idris. Nothing really interesting.
2So as I take it, the matoran that Karzahni 'fixed' and sent to the mailand, might not have been originally from there, right? 3Does Lesovikk know any other matoran from this or last year's storyline? 4Do Sarda and Idris even remeber him? 5What format will their mission be online? As a short story? 6Does Lesovikk give Sarda and Idris their breathing equipment/mission?
7GB #1

81) No, that was established last year -- Karzahni just wanted to send them away, he wasn't sending them back to where they came from. 92) Yes 103) Yes 114) Yes, serialized text 125) Follow the story and find out

13OK, well interesting, for 5 I beleive that that's a yes (though you never know).
14Anyway, for 3 how do they remember him if they don't remember basic stuff (like where they are)? 15Do they regognise him right away? 16Have they said stuff about him for the Throne of Vision? 17Was he the Toa protector of their island?

181) Sometimes seeing someone from your past can jar your memory 192) You'll have to follow the story for that 203) Haven't decided 214) Yes

22so wait I'm confused, do Sarda and Idris remember Lesovikk before they see him or after?

23After -- as I said, "seeing" someone from your past jogs your memory -- so you actually have to see them.

24So will they remember the surface and everything else to when they see him?

25Not all of it, no. Remember, the time they knew Lesovikk was before they had even been sent to Karzahni, so that was ages ago.

26So would they remember their old island and their Turaga and stuff like that since it's acociated with Lesovikk?

27Well, you'll find out when we get to that story, I guess

#8819
1Hey I asked Greg some questions again and found out some things about the BoM's masterplan and the REAL PURPOSE OF THE VISORAK. You might be surprised....... 2Plus one minor BL7 spoiler.

3A ) The Makuta came into existence to keep the universe running smoothly by creating Rahi.
41) Did the Makuta (I mean in general) stop creating Rahi after the Great cataclysm? 51) No, but they are making more mutated Rahi these days
62) If they stopped making Rahi, does this also have an effect on the state of the Universe or even Mata Nui, since they don't care any more about making the universe run smoothly? 72) See answer to #1
83) Were the Makuta that were assigned to the different areas called back to Destral after the Great Cataclysm or do they now "reign" in this areas or do they just act like everything is business as usual? 93) Each Makuta is still overseeing his own area, although the Makuta of Metru Nui is now in overall charge of the other members 10That's something I had wondered a long time.

11B )Yesterday evening I was re-reading the first chapters of BL6 (and my mind made great pictures out of your words:)
124) The Barraki's attempt to overthrow the Great Spirit was connected to conquering certain locations. Pridak: "These are the sites of true power. When they fall, Mata Nui himself falls ... and the universe wil answer to us". Does that more or less mean if the Barraki conquered ceratin regions of the universe and somehow prevented them to work properly, Mata Nui would lose his power and falls? 134) That's what they thought, yes. And we already know Metru Nui is a crucial site. 14See, they THOUGHT they could overpower hi that way...
155) Metru Nui was the Barraki's last city to conquer. Since the Matoran of Metru Nui working is vital to Mata Nui's health, the city is one of the crucial points. Is the Universe core and the World that feeds the world also such curcial points and were therefore conquered by the Barraki? 165) They are crucial points, and the mainland continent was under the control of a Barraki, but they did not occupy the core. 17WTFTW = Universe core or WTFTW =/= Universe Core ?
186) If the Barraki had conquered TWTFTW, did they fight or at least encounter the Toa Mata? 196) No 20If the core is the world that feeds the world that would make sense.
217) Since we don't know who betrayed the Barraki (and you told me in my last post the the betrayer a he or a she placed the BoM-contract in the Pit) I have one question. On page 9 it says: "Makuta looked at the Barraki with cold, crimson eyes, as if they were insects he was looking forward to crushing. They, in turn, looked right back at him, even Ehlek." 22I had always suspected this might be a hint, because I asked myself why it would have been more difficult for Ehlek to look into Makuta's eyes. Maybe he feels guilty for what he did? Although I know that 80.000 years later Ehlek wonders whether one of the Barraki betrayed the others. 23Can you tell me why it was so obviously harder for Ehlek than for the other Barraki to face Makuta(I guess it was not because he is a water-breather)? Maybe Ehlek was not the one who betrayed the Barraki but maybe the let something happen that led to their betrayal? 24(Sorry if I overinterpreted this quote) 257) Go back to pp. 5-6 -- Ehlek feels the most vulnerable of all six Barraki, because he doesn't breathe air, so he is the most nervous when they meet Makuta. 26I had already suspected that, so at least we know neither Ehlek and Mantax are the betrayer. My guess it is not anyone among the Barraki.

27C) Now we have the Barraki who tried to overthrow the Great Spirit and the BoM who at least made him fall asleep and (I guess) want to reign the universe themselves.
288) Did the attack on Mata Nui have similar traits then the Barraki's? Was falling asleep the result of the Makuta ruling over all crucial places in the Universe? 29( I mean Mata Nui fell asleep when Makuta had made the Metru Nui Matoran fall aslepp and when he had destroyed the power supply of Metru Nui, which in turn had supplied other cities? So Makuta had basically taken Metru Nui). 308) No, it wasn't 31Ok it was worth a shot.
329) Last time I asked you when the BoM got the Visorak horde and you said there was no date fixed. This time I'd like to know WHY they got the Visorak army. Ok certainly to conquer islands (and to guard Destral). But why did the Makuta want to conquer islands in the first place? I mean they have their master plan and I guess everything they do has a purpose. Did the BoM use the Visorak to take over crucial places in a similar way the Barraki did? 339) How it was explained to me was that the Visorak were chosen primarily for their ability to shut down the Rahi by webbing them up. Makuta apparently wanted all living things locked away, possibly because he knew or guessed the devastation the Great Cataclysm was going to cause.
34THis comes from my last post:
351) So Makuta wanted Matoran and Rahi (and possibly other species on islands conquered by Visorak) locked away to be sure they survive the Great Cataclysm, so they can hail him as their saviour? 36Or does the BoM masterplan require an intact poplation of Rahi and other species to work and the Great Catclysm might have endangered that? 37Does that mean the Visorak were a "blessing" to the Rahi since they would have died otherwise? 381) Answer to your first question is basically both. 39So Visorak "helped" other species to survive and the master plan requires an intact ecology in the universe.
40Now a minor BL7 spoiler about the Hydraxon revival.

412) Was Dekar being transformed into Hydraxon also an effect of the light-explosion that created the Toa Mahri as a "cry for help"? So the Ignika chose to bring back the jailor because he would be the most suitable one to combat the Barraki and "free" the Mask of Life? 422)Yes, but it was not the same surge of energy that created the Mahri. It was a different use of power by the Ignika that created Hydraxon

#8820
11a: Do you ever get worried if someone figures out something before you reveal it's true (Like Makuta= Maxilos for this year or Makuta = AE = Antidermis last year)? 21b: If yes for 1a, Did you get worried when people speculated Mak= Max? 31c: If yes for 1a, Did you get worried when people speculated Mak= AE= Anti? 42: Is the reason that Dekar transmogrified (Sorry if not the correct use but that's what my teacher told me) into Hydraxon the reason why he wants to destroy the mask? 53: How gradual did the change happen? Like in MOL and LOMN (Takanuva-Toa Metru transformation) or slowly (Evolving, but not over centuries) 64: Is the reason why a face without a mask was not seen in the movies that, for some reason, Matoran (And other members of the matoran species) think their maskless face is like a 'Private part'? (Like humans have... You know.) 75: Would masks be made out of fresh-off-the-batch Protodermis if not from Kanoka? 86: When Dekar was transformed into Hydraxon, did he still have Dekar's Kanohi on and take it off, or did he have a hunch that it was important to him (You were asked if Hydraxon had any memories of his time as Dekar or something like that and you said yes)?

91) No. Someone figuring something out on BZP means, at worst, the few thousand people active on the forums know. The other few million BIONICLE fans do not. Besides, for everyone who gets something right, there are three other topics insisting its wrong, because generally they are just guessing and have no proof. 102) No. Dekar wanted to destroy the mask before he ever got turned into Hydraxon. That's why he took it to the sea cave in Book 6, to destroy it. 113) Instant. Dekar is swimming away the sea cave in Book 7 and the mask transforms him. 124) No, it was that the filmmakers did not want to spend the money to create and show that animation when it did not advance the story at all. 135) No info has been given in the story about how masks are made outside of Metru Nui 146) No, it was transformed into the face of Hydraxon.

15He basically proved 2 correct, he just misinterpreted the question. :P
#8821
1Hey Greg: Just read ur blog. Harsh. I have a few more questions if it doesn't bother you.
21) Did the Mask of Life mean to turn Dekar into a complete double of Hydraxon? Like did it intend to give him the power and skill of Hydraxon only but accidentally gave him his whole mind?
32)
4Is the Av-Matoran in Karzahni still there while Karzahni and his army are gone? In other words, will he meet the Nuva when they come there?

53) When the Nuva leave Karzahni, will they destroy it? Like Pohatu and Onua create earthquakes and destroy his tower, Gali brings in the sea, Tahu makes it rain fire, etc.
64)
7Is all Gadunka doing is enjoying his newfound power by attacking things he normally couldn't? Mahri, Barrakil, Hydraxon, etc.

85) So Hydraxon isn't an OOMN member anymore because it's not really Hydraxon?
96) What is left of Dekar?
107) Does Dekar have any control anymore? Not the Hydraxon part of him, but the real Dekar.

118) Is it true Lessovik will give Sarda and Idris their mission?
129) Was the Turaga Defilak remembered Jovan?
1310) Why didn't Jovan and the Voya Nui Matoran leave the Mainland? It sounds bad there.
14Thank you for your time Greg:

151) No, it did what it meant to. 162)
17He might, yes

183) That's future storyline, can't discuss it 194)
20He is trying to get the mask back, because as far as he's concerned, it belongs to him

215) Bingo
226) Buried memories 237) No
248) See answer to #3 259) Yes 2610) Bad in what way?
#8822
1That's some really great info, Norik. Wonder why Gadunka thinks the Ignika is his. :???:

1Well I was reading a theory when some Qs popped into my mind: 2Has Makuta seen Mata Nui? 3Could he transform (with his old body) into MN? 4Does he know about WTFTW/UC? 5How about MN's location? 6Did he physically attack MN?
7GB #1

8No, 9No, 10Yes, 11No, 12Not directly, but it was an attack that affected him physically

13Makuta I guess attacked Mata Nui telepathicaly or something.

1Just some Q&A, nothing new.
2Well, my school year's almost over, but my interest in Bionicle will never die. But, regardless, just some things that left me baffled, new and old. Again, quesions that can't be answered can be blank, GregF.
3Storyline 41. Should the Toa Nuva successfully arrive to Karzahni, in what way will they be able to get out, especially with Manas guarding the entrance?
52. During the time the Toa Metru departed Metru Nui, how did Krahka spend her time in the empty city?
63. Is the Karzahni plant gone for good(Ever since Makuta blasted it with shadow)?
74. Is the Rahi Nui still stuck in the cavern in Mata Nui(Bionicle Chronicles 4: Tales of the Masks)?
85. At what time will the Piraka, if they intend to, descend to Mahri Nui?
9Misc. 101. Any movies you're planning to watch(Any type of movie)?
112. Did the Lego Group ever attempt to create Lego sets based on Transformers during its time as a company?
12That's it. And I grate you in advance.
13-Xenogears

141) I guess we'll find out when they get there 152) Well, it wasn't completely empty -- Dume was there, so were the Rahaga and Keetongu at times. 163) Yes 174) Unless he has torn his horns off 185) Later 191) No, not at the moment. Most of the big summer movies are just so long, and I hate sitting in a theater for three hours at a time. 202) No. LEGO does not have the license to make Transformers toys. And really, all we would be doing by doing that is promoting another company's (Hasbro's) toy line.

21That's all.

1Hi greg, just some stuff:
21: In response to another members message, you said gadunka is trying to get the ignika back because he thinks it is his. Does this suggest he is a little smarter than we think?
32: For the rest of the mahri's tool names, are you going to make a topic for them, or just give them out when you feel like it?
43: Was there any water in the old pit, or not? 53a: Lava?
64: Why exactly was the original legends 7 titaled "invasion"? 74a: Have you guys got a proposed tital for BL11, or is that still to far away?
85: Is the hahnah crab in book 8 at all?

9Thanks:

101) No. I had a cat who used to walk around with an oven mitt in her mouth. If you took it away she got upset because she thought it was hers. I think you are confusing "thinks it belongs to him" with "actually knows what it is.' 112) Haven't decided 123) No and no 134) Because the Inika were invading the cord 144A) There is a title, but I am not releasing it. Books not coming out for 18 months, no one needs to know this now 155) Yes

16Well, thats all...

11) I read in the OGD that Hydraxon, like the Barraki, doesn't wear a mask because he sees it as a crutch. But, if you are designed to wear a mask, then doesn't not wearing it make you weaker, or do you actually have to become dependent on it over time?
22) Is Spinax very strong? 32a) Gadunka?
4That's all for now.

51) Or else it is something you train yourself to overcome. 62) About as strong as a trained attack dog would be to a human 72a) Yes. Gadunka can bite boulders in half

8Nothing special, but still pretty interesting.
9Also, for Vesuvius's quote, how could the prisoners have survived without any water?

11The prisoners of the Pit didn't require water to breath until they actually came into contact with the mutagenic waters. And I don't believe the beings in Bionicle need water to survive otherwise.

12Not to breathe, to drink. It is implied several times in the atlas that Bionicle beings need freshwater to live.

1I don't know if these questions have been posted already, but I asked and got answers.
2If a Makuta who is in energy form, for example, the Makuta of Metru Nui, were to take control of a body, either a robot or soulless living body, would he have access to all his Kraata powers, or just the ones availble to him in energy form? Example: Could he use his chain lightning ability in the new body?

3Depends on if the body could handle the strain of the energies. For example, a body like Maxilos' could .. but if he were in, say, a Matoran, he would burn the body out.

4So a titan could handle the power. I didn't expect a Matoran to be able to handle it anyway. While we're on the subject of Makuta, could he inhabit Bohrok, Rahkshi Exo-Toa armor, or Vahki?

5Vahki, Exo-Toa, yes -- Rahkshi, no, it is just armor, it is not a robot, so he would be unable to make it move -- Bohrok is trickier, and I am going to lean toward no, because they are in sort of a gray area as far as being alive, not alive, robots, not robots, etc.

1Hey Greg, I asked you a quick question before, but you never responded to it, so I'll ask you again plus another one too.
21) At the beginning of the year you said there are 2 reasons why Mantax is searching the old Pit ruins. But you said you might not be able to expand on one becuase of the shortened book schedule. We know one reason is that he's searching for a contract. Will we find out the other reason?
32) You also said you wanted to expand on the fact that Makuta's life force is in Jaller. You also said you might not be able to get into this becuase of the shortened book schedule. So will we learn anything about this?
4Thanks for your time Greg
51) Depends on if we have time/space.
62) Again, depends on if I have space, primarily on whether me and BZP reach an agreement on serializing the original #7 here.

11) Can the Arthron be used outside of water? Sonar seems to be a water-specific power. 22) Does the Faxon's power extend to growing/mutating new limbs? For instance, could Hahli or Lesovikk grow the tentacles of a Giant Squid? 33) Does the Zatth ever summon Rahi that could not survive in the surrounding environment? A flying Toa of Air summoning a Takea shark would be pretty useless. 44) In the scene where Pridak and Takadox are fighting Matoro in BL7, and Matoro reanimates an army of dead Takea sharks, which seems to take a lot of concentration, would a single push make him lose control and cause the army to go back to being dead? 55) Isn't the Tryna, being basically a Mask of Zombies, be a little overpowered compared to other powers, like levitation or shielding?

61) Not well, no 72) Nope 83) You're right, it would, but you are summoning things that share your environment, and in this case, the environment you are sharing is under the sea. The Mahri are water-breathers, so anything they summon is going to be a water-breather as well. 94) If his concentration is shattered, then yes, they go back to being dead. 105) No, for precisely the reason you mentioned. You can raise an army against me, but if I hit you with a rock, zip, they're back to being to being dead. And, from a story standpoint, I needed something that a -- helps balance out the thousands of sea creatures following the Barrkai and b -- gives Matoro an ethical issue to deal with, since it is pretty unsavory power.

111) Bats can use sonar outside of water, so why can't Arthron users? 122) So Hahli and Lesovikk are basically limited to the physical and sensory abilities of the animals they copy? As in, the strength of a Tarakava or a Takea's sense of smell?

131) Good point. 142) Or some of the unique abilities of sea creatures, such as the hypnotic effect Hahli uses in Book 7. But it is not intended to be a mask of shapeshifting

1Hello, Mr.F. I hope you're having a nice day. I have a few questions I'd liked answered: 21.Do Zylak have any powers? 32.Are Zylak and Krana a sort of 'sibling' species? 43.And are those two species a sort of 'cousin' species to the Matoran? 54.Are the masks that the Toa Metru wear as Matoran in B2 in the shape of their Great Mask forms, only powerless? 65.Does the Brotherhood of Makuta use an Olmak Nuva? 76.Does the Karzahni set come with a piece for the Mask of Alternate ?
8Thanks in advance:

91) Their weapons do 102) Yes 113) Yes 124) Yes, all Matoran masks are powerless with the exception of the mask Jaller wore on Mata Nui 135) What the BOM is using has not been revealed 146) No, because the mask has been mutated into his face. They didn't make a piece for what it looked like as his mask, unfortunately

1I asked Greg some questions about destiny, and got some interesting answers:
2Hey Greg, sorry to bother you, but I have a few questions I want to ask:
31. Does every being have a destiny, or is it just certain beings such as Toa?
42. What happens when a being does not accomplish their destiny?
53. The mask of life can sense whether a being is destined to use it. Can other object and/or beings sense destinies as well?
64. Who or what makes a being's destiny?
75. What is the importance of destiny other than being a virtue? Is it to make sure things work and stay the way they are supposed to?
86. Can destinies change? If so, how?
9Thanks again, and sorry if these have already been answered, I was too lazy to look for them.

101) Every living thing has a destiny. 112) Good question, and it leads to a better one -- is that possible? If a Toa dies on a mission, does that mean dying on the mission WAS his destiny, or does that mean something intervened to prevent him from achieving his destiny? It's an interesting point to debate. 123) Mata Nui can 134) Mata Nui 145) I am not sure it has a "purpose" -- it is an aspect of life. 156) Another good question. My own personal philosophy is that life is like a highway -- if you drive down it you will reach wherever the highway goes to. But if you get off on an exit, suddenly you are going somewhere else. So in real life, I see destiny as very fluid. But I am not sure I would apply that view to BIONICLE.
