1Hello Greg
2There is one thing that i will like to know.
3When you said there were only 50 toa left, did that include the Toa Haga?
4If not Dose that mean there are about 56 toa left in the bionicle universe?
5Thank's

7Yes, the number is now 56.

1can everyone stop asking greg if icarax is gonna be a set and if hes a makuta of karzahni?
2hey greg. the new chapters of the blog, DoD and ITD are cool. nice job.
3something was bothering me. 4if the set comes first and the storyline later, what about the nuva? would the set designers make 6 cool toa and you name them toa nuva, or do the set designing department and the storyline team discuss the sets to fit better in the storyline? otherwise im going to a shop, see 6 nice toa, and am shocked to see their nuva, while they dont look like them in any way.
5also what is the storywise cause of the nuva looking new? they come across an armory with all kinds of weaponry and armour and decide the weapons and armour are better than their own and put it on, while their new body look is because thats how the nuva wouldve looked like if the set designers had in 2001 what they have available now[ideas, pieces, experience, money?

61) In the case of the Nuva, we knew what the storyline was going to be for 2008 and that it was going to require the return of the Nuva. So the designers went into it knowing they were redesigning the Nuva, not doing new Toa.
72) Storyline reason for the change gets revealed at the end of Book 8 in December.

8yay so the nuva arent some random toa team named toa nuva: 9set designers actually redesigned the nuva:
10god bless them: and doom them if they fail :D

1The Makuta quote in Legends #9 you gave us was spoken by Icarax, right?
2Which quote are you referring to?
3"The challenge of being a Makuta is choosing which powers to use to destroy your enemies. It gets boring using the same ones all the time. Variety is the spice of destruction, after all."
4No, that quote is not from Icarax.

1Just few questions about the number of Toa alive still. :)
2Hey, GregF 3just few questions: 41. Now that the Toa Hagah have returned, how many Toa are there now that are living? 56? 52. Is it safe to say that Lesovikk is one of 56 Toa (including the Toa Hagah) alive? If so, then that would mean the Toa Hagah, the Toa Mahri, the Toa Nuva, and Lesovikk count as 19 Toa out of 56 Toa alive. 63. If TSO's fortress has collapsed, has the lone captured Toa in the statis field escaped? 74. Is he/she alive? 85. Is he/she counted as one of the 56 Toa alive?

91) Yup 102) Yup 113) Probably not. The stones turned to dust, that would not affect a stasis field unless he was on a high floor 124) Yes, stasis means you are in suspended animation, not dead 135) Yes

14With Takanuva, that makes twenty-one we know about.
15EDIT: Yes, Axxon's Fury. I forgot about Krakua. We know about 22 Toa.
#9886
1Well isn't Krakua alive? Wouldn't that make 22?
2Greg. I have some questions.

31. Does the MoMN know about Icarax? 42. Are the MoMN and Icarax going to team up if they do know about each other? 53. Is Icarax going to take over the BoM?
#9887
1Hey Greg, a couple of things I'm pondering, mostly probably will be "Can't answer it" but, eh, might as well try. And this will not be discussed if you don't want it to be.
21. The three Toa Nuva and three villains released next January... are those the only sets that will be released then? 31a. Will all six of each team be in the storyline, or will the teams be split in two and each half focused on for a different part of the year. 41b. Will Icarax (GREAT name, btw) be in this first half?
52. Are there still matoran on the Mainland? 62a. The Universe Core? 72b. Are they mutated Karzahni versions or clean versions? Or mixed? 82c. Are any of them crazy like the Karzahni Matoran of Light?
93. Are there any titans next year?
104. Any word on an Invasion summary?
115. Will we see any new colors on the sets next year?
126. What is your favorite part about next years sets? (Weapons, masks, colors, looks... etc)
137. Will the Toa Hagah's quest be in future serials, or do they just protect Xia, bash up Roodaka and go back to saving islands?
148. Will your wife be doing anymore BioCasts?
15Thanks Greg, 16Toa Piraka

171) No, there will also be six $5.99 sets. 181a) I can't answer that 191b) Yes
202) Rather not discuss this at this time
213) I think so
224) Not at this point, maybe when Book 10 is done
235) Don't know. I don't pay that much attention to color schemes.
246) Just the general look, especially of the villains
257) I am hoping to work them into web serials in 2008, if Bink agrees
268) Don't know

27Well, Icarax will be seen in January, the Hagah may return and we get 12 sets in January. TWELVE: Wow, thats HUGE:

1Updated: New stuff here:::

2Hi Greg, I have a couple new questions. 31.) We know that Lhikan's Hau looks different than Tahu's because Lhikan's was forged in a different style. Is the style of a mask a regional difference, or a change of style over time? Like Tahu's is the ancient style of the Hau, and Lhikan's is the more modern style? 42.) Was every Makuta designated an island to oversee? I suppose MoMN was assigned Metru Nui because of the islands great importance, but does every "lesser" Makuta have his own island? Or are there others who just inhabit Destral. 53.) Is every Makuta in the species a member of the BoM? Except for the Makuta of Zakaz? 64.) You said the OOMN are preparing for the war against the BoM. What exactly are they doing? Ammasing an army? Seeking allies? 75.) How exactly do the OOMN plan to fight a war against the BoM? Are they still going to use their secrecy to their advantage, or are they going to expose themselves in an all-out war? 86.) For that matter, what's the point of preparing for a war that most likely would never come, assuming the universe falls apart over three days? 9Thanks

101) I always saw it as a regional difference. 112) More likely a region rather than an island. In the case of Metru Nui, it is the only land in its dome, so if you were assigned to that region, you just had that island to oversee. 123) Yes 134) Readying their forces, basically. They can't really seek allies since that would mean revealing their existence too soon. 145) Both. 156) Well, what if the universe doesn't end? What if the Mahri find some way to achieve their mission? If you don't prepare, then where are you if things don't end?

161.) So is the shape of Tahu's Hau the Artahka style? Or were the Mata's masks forged somewhere else and placed on their unactivated bodies later? 175.) So would it be more like guerrilla warfare?
18And some others 191.) So would Karzahni know who Icarax was? Wouldn't he know that the Brotherhood existed? 202.) When did Icarax leave the Karzahni region? 213.) If the BoM were protectors of the Matoran, why would they allow Karzahni to oppress them? 224.) How would Karzahni feel about another being of power overseeing his domain? 235.) Do Makuta have something that functions as a Kini? Or do they just physically substitute masks? 246.) Why does Makuta want his mask specifically protected from Takanuva? Are the light powers of the Avohkii able to destroy the Krahkkan?
25Thanks

261) Yes, it is, because it was made on Artakha 275) They are going to use their secrecy to their advantage to launch a surprise attack, and then expose themselves 281) No. The fact that a Makuta is assigned to a region does not mean he lives on that island. MoMN was assigned to Metru Nui, but his lair was in the Great Barrier, not on Metru Nui. 292) Only very recently 303) As far as Icarax was concerned, the Matoran in Karzahni were sent there because they weren't working. He saw no earthly use for Matoran who don't work, so he really didn't care what happened to them. 314) Not happy 325) Makuta don't normally swap masks that much, they pretty much use the one they have. 336) Because Takanuva is the only Toa there. If Tahu were there instead, he would want it protected from Tahu. He doesn't want it in the hands of Toa.

34So the Mata's Kanohi are Artahka-style masks after all:
#9889
1I can see, that mine questions have already been answered, but whatever:

2Hello Greg, You know I don't like empty words (or maybe You don't...) So I will ask You only few questions, hoping that all of them are allowed to speak of.
31)

410. When the Nuva are re-released, will their masks change, or will the be in a different style as Lhikan's Hau was from Tahu Mata's? 510) Mask shapes will be redesigned, mask powers will be the same

6Is there any storyline reason for this, or is it only set designers fantasy? 72) Is the quote "...I could shapeshift you into something like a frost beatle..." from Icarax? 83) Is the number of next years sets same as usually (6 litle, 12 canister, 3 titans, and some promotionals)? 94) That's something You might not know of, but I have to ask if Lego is doing something (except of replacing them with new ones) to fix those cracking lime green pieces? 105) If there was a Makuta assigned to Karzahni, how come Karzahni didn't know of the BOM or Mata-Nui? 116)Are all Vortixx bad as Roodaka is, or are they just like humans (some bad, some good)? 127) Why MoMN is more powerfull than other Makuta? Is it exacly the same as for humans, or has he got some powers, others don't have?
13I think that's all... Very big (300 ft long, not necessarily venom) thanks in advance

141) Yes, there is a story reason for it. 152) No 163) Should be roughly the same, yes 174) Not my area. That all gets handled by the folks in Denmark. I just do story. 185) Because the Makuta's job was to keep an eye on the place, not go say hi to the ruler 196) I don't see them as "evil," just mercenary. They would supply arms to the Toa if the Toa were willing to pay for them. 207) I don't see him as more powerful than other Makuta, I see him as more experienced and a better strategic thinker.

1I saw this up the page a bit, and I thought it was intriguing.

8You guys tell me if I'm interpreting this right. The January sets are three villians and 3 Toa Nuva, and a set of 6 $5.99 sets. And Icarax is in the first half of the mix, meaning he's somewhere in the previously stated listing. And he's obviously not a Toa Nuva, and I doubt he's a $5.99 set. So... does that mean that he is one of the three villians, that they are indeed BoM members? Or could he possibly be a mini Titan like Nocturn that Greg forgot about?

1I think it is possible that the 08 villians are Makuta now. There was a quote a while back asking if he would be a titan, but Greg only said he would be a set.

1Just some new stuff.
2Hello sir, if you don't recognize me I was once Koji Toa of Ice, but now I have some questions.
31. Is Icarax (sp) younger than the MoMN?
42. His armor is different correct? it wouldn't make sense to release him with the same armor as MoMN.
53. Would you concider him greedy? I believe it said he took over the Brotherhood, so he just seems somewhat greedy to me.
64. Does the MoMN approve of this if he did take control?
75. I wish I had pictures, though I couldn't get any uploaded so I'll explain. For Kopaka Nuva's weapon, is it like two swords and he holds them both in the same hand, is it just a signle weapon, like one full handle witht he blades on the ends, or is it like two seperate weapons that connect to each other, etc.?
86. Which Toa do you think would have the most honor or chivalry? Just something I'd like to ask.
97. Bionicle's have spirits correct?
108. If so, can they haunt after death?
119. Could Karzahni shatter a mind easily with his mask, or would it be difficult?
12That's all for now, and thank you as always.

131) I don't see him as younger, no. Odds are all Makuta were created at the same time. 142) Yes, it is different 153) I don't see him as greedy, myself. I think Icarax would see greed as a weakness that would leave you vulnerable in battle. 164) If Icarax took control? No, he would not approve of it. 175) I cannot discuss future sets 186) No idea. 197) Yes 208) Not something I can speculate on -- we don't deal with the afterlife in BIONICLE, because it cuts too close to religion. 219) Depends on the mind.
225. I don't mean the new set, I mean the one from 02 or 03.

23Ah, I see. Unfortunately, you are asking me about a five year old set that I don't own, so I can't answer you.

1I got some info from Greg for a recent theory of mine. The theory turned out to be incorrect, but the information may still be useful.
2Hello again Greg. After your answers to my last group of questions, I have been devising a theory. These questions will either strength or disprove it. 31) Can the Staff of Artakha, if given more than one piece of an object to work with, make a duplicate of the object from each piece? 42) As odd as this sounds, can you discribe the Nui Stone, namely shape and color?
5Thanks in advance: 6-Ax-

71) No 82) If you check out the Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet story in the fan fiction area of BZPower, you will find a description in the story.

9and then
10Hello again Greg. I have some more questions based on your last answers. 11Thanks for refering me to "The Many Deaths..." by the way, it helped in more ways than just the description. 121) Is there any way in the universe that the Nui Stone could be duplicated? 132) Since Makuta hasn't remade the Nui Stone yet, does that mean his purpose for the stone takes place underwater? Or is it just because he didn't want Icarax to see? 143) Have we, (or will we) ever see (actually see) the Nui Stone? 15Thanks again: Depending on the answers to these questions, I'll evaluate my theory from there. 16-Ax-

171) Well, someone out there created one, so it's possible that the process, if rediscovered, could be duplicated 182) It basically was because he didn't want to do it in front of Icarax 193) You mean in plastic? No idea, probably not

20There you go, maybe useful, maybe not.:)-Ax-

1Hi guys. Just some stuff I got from Greg the day the updates went up.
2Hi, Greg. :) 3Read and listened to the BIONICLEstory.com updates, and I've got a few questions about their contents and a couple other things.

41. Icarax is the Makuta who retrieved the Mask of Shadows, right?
52. In the Nuva Blog, Icarax says the BoM will be his after he does what he has to do. I take it this indicates he's got something up his sleeve against the MoMN?
63. How well would you say Onua held up against Icarax?
74. Was finding the Hagah on the list of things for the Nuva to do, or did they simply need them to help on Xia while they do other things?
85. The realm of Karzahni must be (and was) destroyed as part of the Nuva's list. Was this done in part to erase what Karzahni had done there, which was never meant to happen (because I don't think the Great Beings wanted any Matoran harmed by him)?
96. Did the Toa encounter the crazy Av-Matoran while they were in Karzahni?
107. Bink says he now knows just how much fun you have looking through S&T. Is it really that amusing to see what we think of? :P
11Thanks in advance. :)

121) Yes 132) Follow the story and find out 143) Not all that well 154) No, they did this for the Hagah as a favor to them 165) The destruction of Karzahni was not on the list. Getting the staff was, which is why they went there. 176) I am sure they saw him, but they didn't speak with him. 187) It's intriguing

19Okay, thanks very much. I've just got a couple continuations now. :) 203. How strong is Icarax as far as Makuta go?
215. So Icarax ran off to Karzahni with the Staff... Is he using it as a jumping off point to get to Mahri Nui?

223) He is a skilled warrior. 235) Actually, we don't know that he is even planning to go to Mahri Nui -- all we know is MOMN expects him there.

24I was under the impression that destroying Karzahni was on the list. The Encyclopedia made it seem like it. :P
#9896
1i read DOD chapter 2, and it said that karzahnni followed jaller and co. to voya nui and saw their battles with the piraka. but in the atlas, it said karzahnni was training his matoran at that time.
2can you explain this?

3The Atlas is based on the best information the OOMN had from their agents. And Karzahni is capable of making you see potential alternate futures. So what if he made the OOMN member see a potential alternate future where he stayed in his realm training his Matoran, and that is what he then reported back?

32Looks like he's a titan. Which could mean that next year's canned villains aren't Makuta.

1Lol, I asked him too, before I saw you were going to confirm.
2So if Icarax is being released with the Winter sets, and he's obviously not a Toa Nuva, or a $5.99 set, would that make him one of the $9.99 villians? Or is he a store exclusive mini-Titan like Nocturn? I understand if you don't want to answer this yet.

3To my knowledge, he is not a canister set.

1Good news; All six Nuva will return:: Plus more info::
2I have a ton of questions.
31. In Bionicle Legends#7, Hahli is leading the Manta Rays. In ItD, the rays are still foloowing her. In Comic 11, they surround Mantax, Hydraxon and herself. What is the order of these events?
42. How was Karzahni able to sneak an army of Manas into the sea without the Matoran noticing? 52a. Were they on Voya Nui with him.
63. Voya Nui is shooting towards TWTFTW, right? IF that is the early 2008 location, will we see Axonn for a short time like Brutaka in Bionicle Legends#6?
74. If Hydraxon 2 has ALL the memories of Hydraxon, doesn't he realize the Mahri weren't prisoners?
85.
(Piraka.com Prophecy)

9What darkness divides, a cut will unite

10This refers to the Cord, right?
116. Will all six nuva be released? Three in January, three in August? 126a. Which are coming out in January? 136b. Is there a storyline reason why they are split up?
147. How is the unity of the 08 villians? More like the Piraka, as in rebellious? Or more like the Barraki, sensing the need for their combined power?
158. Will the Nuva blog leave off where they hear Artahka in Bionicle Legends#8?
169. Will ItD lead up to when Matoro freezes Maxilos?
1710. Do next year's villians know MoMN or Icarax? I know you probably can 't answer that. 1810a. If so, how?
1911, You said your wife might not be in any more biocasts. Does this mean Hahli won't return?
2012. Do next year's villians have armies?

211) ITD takes place before the end of Bionicle Legends #7, so before the battle with Hydraxon and Maxilos. 222) It's a big sea. The Matoran hang out on Mahri Nui, they don't patrol the outer reaches -- that's a good way to get yourself killed. 232a) No 243) Not in 2008, no 254) Nope. Because obviously his prisoners have mutated in the water -- certainly the Barraki have -- so who knows what the Mahri looked like before? 265) Yes 276) Yes 286a) Sorry, can't discuss this 296b) Yes 307) I cannot discuss 2008 storyline 318) Don't know yet 329) Again, don't know yet -- probably before that 3310) See answer to #7 3411) I may not have need of Hahli in that story, I have to see 3512) See answer to #7

1If the cord was destroyed, doesn't that mean Vezon and the Zyglak are all dead because they were inside it?

2Well, we don't know if Vezon was still inside it at this point. We know the Zyglak had him when the Inika went through it, but time has passed since they saw him last. As for the Zyglak, read Book 8.

3Urp... lets hope Vezon got out OK, cause that would just suck if he died.

4He most likely was because without the mask Vezon has lost all former power, and since he is frozen in time and space then it is most likely that he is dead.

1If the cord was destroyed, doesn't that mean Vezon and the Zyglak are all dead because they were inside it?

5Actually,The zamor effect wore off a while ago.How else could Kardas have escaped?
6Anyways I hope Vezon didn't die. He's a great character and the best comic relief villain.

1I only have two questions, but I think they has some major implications...
2Is Icarax's name a bioniclization of Icarus, the mythological figure who made wax wings and flew two close to the sun?
3Does this have any implications as to Icarax's personality and/or destiny?
4Thanks:

6No and no.

7aww.... that would have been cool...

5jetslandingboard :silver:

6This quote sounds like MoMN to me. He has a unique sense of "humor." :P 7Anyway, here's my contribution. Just wanted to have this idea straightened out.
8In the updated encyclopedia, mentions of Vezon encountering the Zyglak and Makuta possessing Matoro were made. Were these details supposed to be included in the original Bionicle Legends #7?

9Yes indeed

10The original concept lives on...:)

1I asked a question to greg lately:
2QUOTE 3Hey Greg I was wondering lately about the kanohi nuva masks and the vahi from 2003/2004 and i'd like to ask one question, would a Vahi Nuva mask be able to change time and freeze time??
4Thanks in advance

5No, it would simply allow you to share the mask power with others in close proximity. That's assuming the Vahi is destined to be a Nuva mask -- if it's not, exposure to EP will destroy it and shred the fabric of time.

1Hey guys, got an informative quote here:
2Hi, Greg. Just a quick question: 3How far in the Bionicle storyline do you have planned ahead?

4Through 2011, at this point

1Hello. Can you share the following?
21) About the leaked sets: the first list stated that the Toa Nuva were 14,99$. It's a mistake, isn't it? 32) If you can forward my congratulations to the set designers... 43) The prisoners of the Pit from the contest, are they canon? 54) As I understood, most prisoners are on the run, because they flee the Barraki. And they go as far as they can because Pit Robots. Correct? 65) Would they have the possibility, would the Voyatoran use a little Pit mutagen to become stronger? 76) And Matoran from Mata Nui? 87) Makuta enjoys speaking about hypothetical, doesn't he? The insult to Carapar, the quote about Dark Hunters... 98) How long did you have in mind the come back of the Hagah? Because on August, I suggest that I you had room in the story, Axonn could give Roodaka choice between death and mutate them back.
10Thank you:

111) Yes 123) Not at this point, no 134) Yes 145) I doubt it, because there is no guarantee it would do that. It might do something completely different. 156) They already are stronger. 167) Yes 178) A lot of people suggested that they come back, either in PMs or in forums. That's why I did it, because a lot of people wanted it.

18:rolleyes: WE SAVED THE HAGAH: :)

13.) DAAAAAAAAAAANG: $10,000 just to make a name like 'Tahu'?

2If memory serves, tahu is a maioran or something word (i think it means fire.), and after getting sued a bunch started going through the long legal process of making names. The original toa's names stay, because they are not offensive names, though they must sound a bit stupid. (think Fire Nuva)

1Sinced you revealed the answer to the poll, it struck up a couple of questions that I was hoping you would answer.
21. Around what time was the Cordak blaster invented, and where? 32. Was Hydraxon always amphibious, or did the Order transform him as necessary because he was going to a prison under the sea? 43. You said once that the Pit was like a normal jail, and that the prisoners could not break out because the bars were too strong; but what about Ehlek? He had protosteel claws; why could they not help break him out? 53b. Does this also imply that Ehlek wore his breathing aparatus the whole duration of his prison sentence? 64. You say that the Order tampered with Ehleks species in order to fight the Brotherhood, yes? 74b. If so, around what time was this? 85. Were the Toa of Lesovikks team ever Matoran? 96. I recall you saying that the picture in Bioniclestory.com was not an 08 teaser pic, yet Binkmeister confirmed that it was; which is it?
10That's all I have for now, and thanks in advance if you can answer any of these questions ^^
11Edoshi

121) Cordak is quite old, and where isn't really relevant 132) Hydraxon was never amphibious. The original Pit was not underwater, it was in a dome. When the dome was shattered and then flooded, the original Hydraxon was already dead. The new Hydraxon was created by the Ignika to be a water-breather. He can't breathe air. 143) Claws are only of use if you can use them. If you chain his arms to the wall in a way that his claws cannot reach the chains, then they can't help him escape. 153b) Yup 164) Yup 174b) Long time ago 185) Yes 196) Bink has more recent info than I do because he is in Billund and talked with the creative agency a few days ago.

20Coulda sworn I read that Hydraxon was amphibious. And poor Ehlek XD.

1A bit o' new stuff...(kinda)
2Hey Greg, hope I'm not taking up too much of your time. 3So here are my questions, 41) What mask did Icarax wear before he got the Kraahkan? 52) Could Icarax shape-shift into a form that the MoMN usually used and since he has the Kraahkan, and then trick the other Makutas into thinking he was the MoMN or would they be able to figure it out?

61) Hasn't been revealed 72) They would figure it out. To pose as MoMN, he would have be making and executing complex plans, and he doesn't like doing that. If he has to rule in exactly the same way MoMN ruled, then in his eyes there would be no point in being in charge because nothing would change.

21) Cordak is quite old, and where isn't really relevant

3If it's any help, the Mahri Log on BIONICLE.com states that "The Cordak blasters were originally made on the island of Xia." While it's definitely possible that they weren't invented there, I think it's a reasonably safe bet to guess that they were.

1releasing logic on it: 6 barreled guns with explosive ammo. sounds like something the vortixx made. zamors can be used for any purpose so matoran couldve invented them. but why would matoran want a gun witth explosive ammo? for mining? and it doesnt seem likely brutaka's, axxon's, botar's or keetongu'sand tahtorak's race wouldve invented them.
